Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Acompanhou The Supremes (Diana Ross), The Four Tops e Johnny Mathis. |

| Search | Add | 10 | Sandro Lúcio | Brazilian singer. Born in São Mateus in the extreme north of Espirito Santo and since childhood, he has lived in the Vale do Jurigão in the southern state of Mato Grosso, Brazil, where he lived his childhood and adolescence, Sandro Lúcio, who began his career in 1971 as a singer romantic brega. And it was precisely in the midwestern region, where the career of the singer Sandro Lúcio was born, predominating in the cities of Rondonópolis, Paranatininga and Pedra Preta. It was in Rondonópolis in the state of Mato Grosso where he moved very early with his parents and his 8 brothers, who Sandro Lúcio sang for the first time in a station of Radio. In São João in 1971 he sang live for the whole of Amazonia, direct from the studios of Rádio Amorim Juventude AM, when he was part of the trio "Parrot Parrot and Mangabão", formed with his two brothers Mateus and Moacyr. Sandro Lucio was the Mangabão. The singer remembers that the trio was formed by the influence of the longed [a=Trio Parada Dura] that was very successful in the 70's in the southern states and midwest of the country. But only in 1984, Sandro Lúcio decided to dissolve the partnership that maintained with his brothers and took his solo career for Brazil. Today, with 28 recorded albums, he recorded his first live DVD on Saturday, April 14, 2007 in Praça Castelo Branco, downtown Itamaraju. Already Sandro Lúcio makes a beautiful reflection saying that Itamaraju gave him life in his new professional phase from the year 2000, and found it more than fair to choose the city to fulfill his greatest dream. The singer Sandro Lúcio was reborn musically in Bahia, through the musical entrepreneur Aroldo Neves, owner of Aroldo Neves Produções, a company specialized in promotions of artistic shows, that in 1999 began to entrepreneur the singer especially in the northeast. But it was from the beginning of the year 2000 that Sandro Lúcio exploded musically with great successes, realizing about 200 shows per year. Bahia and Maranhão are the states where the singer's shows are most requested. Only in Paraná, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba and Amapá, Sandro Lúcio has not yet performed. | |

(Daniil Ivanovich Yuvachyov) | Russian absurdist writer, poet and dramatist, widely regarded among the most influential early-Soviet era avantgardists (30 December [O.S. 17 December] 1905, Saint Petersburg, Russian Empire — 2 February 1942, Leningrad, USSR). Daniil Charms had a tragic life, repressed by the Soviet regime and only allowed to publish his children's literature. Arrested twice, Kharms died of starvation, aged 36, in a prison mental hospital. He was rehabilitated posthumously in July 1960. By the early-to-mid-1990s, Daniil Charms was widely published in Russia and abroad, translated into English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Finnish, Irish and other languages. Daniil Yuvachev began writing as Kharms in the early 1920s, also adopting countless other pseudonyms (including Ххармс, Хаармсъ, Чармс, Шардам, Дандан, Карл Иванович Шустерлинг, and Иван Топорышкин). His early 1924–26 works were influenced by "Zaum" futurists Velimir Chlebnikov and [a=Aleksej Kručenych]. In 1927, Charms and Alexander Vvedensky co-founded an underground OBeRIu group (the "Union of Real Art;" ОБэРИу, Объединение Реального Искусства in Russian). The collective featured Nikolay Zabolotsky, Konstantin Vaginov, Nikolay Oleynikov and Igor Bakhterev, among others, and primarily organized public performances and readings. Soon afterward, Samuil Marshak and Boris Zhitkov helped Kharms to publish in children's literature, as it was the only appropriate vessel for his quirky and odd writing style. Between 1928 and 1931, Daniil Charms published nine illustrated children's books and extensively collaborated with popular magazines. In December 1931, Charms, Vvedensky and Bakhterev were arrested for "participating in the anti-Soviet writer's club," ending OBeRIu. Kharms was sentenced to four-month penal transportation in Kursk, returning to Leningrad by October 1932. In August 1941, Charms was again arrested for criticizing the Communist Party in the war against Germany. Under martial law, it was considered treason; Daniil only avoided death by simulating insanity. He was incarcerated in a psychiatric ward at the notorious "Kresty" prison and died from starvation in February 1942. Daniil's second wife, Marina Malich (1909—2002), and one of his close friends rescued the writer's manuscripts from his abandoned apartment. Around 1965, the first "adult" works by Kharms began to appear in Soviet literary magazines, with more comprehensive compilations circulating in "samizdat," including a selection published by George Gibian at [l=Cornell University] in 1974 and a four-volume 1978–88 edition by Mikhail Meilakh and Vladimir Erl in Bremen, Germany. (Gibian also became one of the first English translators, followed by [a=Neil Cornwell] in Great Britain). In 1988, a Master's thesis, Problematics of "funny" in OBeRIu art by Anna Gerasimova (better known as a rock musician Umka), became the first academic study of Kharms in the USSR. Since then, dozens of researchers have extensively analyzed the writer's work and his influence on contemporary Russian culture, from Yuriy Koval's fairytales and postmodernist literature of Viktor Pelevin and Vladimir Sorokin to Boris Grebenshikov's and NOM band's music. Other prominent artists inspired by Daniil Charms include Icelandic composer [a=Hafliði Hallgrímsson], Belgian artist [a=Peter Vermeersch], who released [r=6803049] CD (1998), and Dutch new music ensemble [a=De Kift] with [r=1737970] experimental opera. A duo of saxophonist [a=Ted Milton] and laptop musician [a=Sam Britton] performed Kharm's Way in 2003, while the US rapper [a=Billy Woods] named his 2015 album, [m=853335], after one of the books by Kharms. |

| Search | Add | 10 | Сумеречная Депрессия | Experimental/avant-garde/industrial metal/rock band from Russia. | |

The foundation stone for this is laid during a project week at the beginning of the 6th grade - supervised by Gottfried Angerer and Günther Böcksteiner. During the 6th and 7th grade, pieces are written for 2 shows in the Posthof Linz. The 7th grade songs will be recorded on CD in a final project week. Ensemble and recording management: Wolfger Buchberger and Georg Wild. Mix/Mastering: Wolfger Buchberger "Music is the common language of humanity." Henry Wadsworth Longfellow For musically gifted students, an in-depth examination of all areas of serious and popular music on an auditory, analytical and practical level is made possible. Piano, guitar, electric guitar, drums, saxophone, vocal lessons (voice training) and violin are currently offered in instrumental lessons and are taught in small groups (3 to 5 students). This enables largely individual support for the student. The compulsory elective subjects music education and instrumental lessons offer the opportunity to deal with individual focuses theoretically and practically with smaller groups. In the 6th and 7th grade, the choir or instrumental ensemble is compulsory. This ensures a further deepening of the practical skills learned in music or instrumental lessons and enables the students to make targeted, cross-class music-making at a high level. The equipment of the school, which is unique for this area in Upper Austria, with a large number of pianos, instruments in every area and technical systems, enables a comprehensive musical education, which can be expanded even further in non-binding exercises. The technically very well equipped ballroom with its variable stage is regularly the scene of concerts and musical performances by the students of the BORG. IMPORTANT !!!: Interest in music of all styles in the practical and theoretical area. Joy and willingness to perform when singing, practicing, making music together and presenting in public. | |

| Search | Add | 10 | MIKROBI.T | MIKROBI.T Live are six hands, 37 keys, one baritone sax, moog, sythesizer, guitar and acoustic drums – all multiplicated and de-constructed in real time. Is it possible to incorporate influences like Jon Hopkins and Moderat on one hand with Mats Gustafsson's sax and live hypnotic The Knife-wise beats on the other? Seems that it is. Musicians known before from other Polish projects got together to blend electronic sounds with live instruments that resulted in a pretty innovative instrumental album called „Binary Beats” released March 21st 2014. Their music is full of deep bass, vibrating with beat but not deprived of a human factor.... it's live and close, cool and very organic in the same time, electro-improvised. | |

| Search | Add | 10 | Haris Čizmić | Dorian Grey | Haris Cizmic formed his first band in 1995 but he hit the music industry in a big way in 2009 when he won the title of Hard Rock's Ambassador of Rock for the year, got signed and released his third and most progressive album by date. That was a good year for Haris in many ways: he released his “Ingray” project, performed with national and international acts and shot several music videos. However, this wasn’t the culmination of his career, in fact that was just the beginning. It was during this time that Haris started exploring other music styles and genres. He started using his own name, as opposed to his previous projects Ingray, Axa, and Therion. Not that these bands weren’t successful, quite the opposite; each groups boasts their own international awards and recognitions. Most importantly, at that time, Haris began a new career and found himself writing and producing for other musicians, as well as recording and performing as a solo artist. Of course he’s had the support of great musicians, like Dave Dupuie, Rocquell Wallace, and others, who appear alongside him in his new work and at live shows. And so, after years of eclectic Euro/American metal mixed with blues, pop, rock, electronic and ethnic music, Haris is officially in new territory as he explores neo-industrial grounds, acoustic rock, electronic goa and film music scores. In 2011 Haris was asked to arrange and perform the soundtrack for "One Last Call", an independent short film that won numerous festival awards. In addition to his work on the soundtrack for the film, Haris also assisted with script writing, video editing, special effects and postproduction in his Detroit-based studio. His work on “One Last Call” wasn’t Haris’ first time working in the film industry; his first movie score was almost ten years earlier, in 2002, for "Escaping Otis" which premiered at the Sundance Festival that year. Haris owes much of his success to other artists who have inspired him, like Tom Waits and Danzig. These artists have helped Haris realize that the production is also part of the song and it's feeling. He doesn’t force everything to sound big and clean, but rather he uses the way it sounds as a part of the song, for a more authentic and organic sound. Haris is also an awarded creative designer and artist. Catch Haris Cizmic’s music videos and songs on television and radio both in the US and Europe. Among his latest releases are "the Worst of - first 20 years" (2015), and a single "Breathe in Water" (2016) |

He founded in 1991 with David Saggiorato the Kor-at, group of industrial music experiences in which he plays percussions. The band does some concerts and does soundtrack of the remake of the film of David Lynch “Eraserhead”, realized by a Turin independent film maker. Unfortunately recordings of that period do not exist. In 1992 he left Kor-at and he recorded the first solo job with the name of Glockenspiel, published like demotape. In 1993 he founded BIANCA BELMONT with Alberto Pasino. The band, been born like duo, increases to five elements in 1995, with Renzo Razzano on second bass, Marcello Turco on trumpet and Max to the saxophone. They recorded two demotapes, respectively in 1993 and 1995, both remastered in the end of 1995,and edited by Setola di Maiale. Between 1997 and 1998 he recorded and published the first “homely deliriums” with the name of PENTLICZEK, using ethnic percussions, self builded instruments, guitars and tapes. he participated with this project in some compilations of the sicilian label Snowdonia: “Orchestre Meccaniche Italiane” (1997), “Sbim Sbam” (1998), “International Gluttons” (1999). In 1998 he began a collaboration stably with Stefano Giust and his SETOLA DI MAIALE label, he defines Stefano: the “better companion to sonic deviating lines” and with him he founded the "anti-jazz" project called GBUR. In the recording of the first job of Gbur, beside the two members of Bianca Belmont (Renzo and Marcello), joins Paul Caleo. In 1999 the original line up always changes and in place of Renzo and Marcello there was three new elements: Ivan Pilat to tenor and baritone saxes,Daniel “el desviado reverendo surrealista” Pagliero, also knows like LO DEV ALM to the electronics and Maurizio Suppo aka Dimensionidol.Paul Caleo who originally played the guitar now handle one instrument self-builded, named “Caleophone”. With this line up they plays in 1999 at 48th BIENNALE-esposizione internazionale d'arte in Venice and the next year at OFFEST festival -meeting of Italian independent labels in Milan. In a night of December of 2000 it records with Stefano Giust and Daniele Pagliero a series of unexpected improvised traces that will come later on published with the name of BABELIS PROJECT, always on Setoladimaiale and in coproduction with the Mexican label GENITAL PROD. |
