Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Educators Band | Leader/saxophonist Ricco Richardson moved to South Carolina a few years after producing with Clifton Dyson, and he has been there ever since. Merging with a local group, Blackrock, and combining names as “Blackrock Educators”, Richardson was involved in their rarity “Isn’t It Nice” b/w “Give Into Love”, released on Bobby Cohen’s eponymous imprint in 1979. The Blackrock affiliation did not last very long, and Richardson reverted to his band’s original handle. In addition to the dynamic sax-man, the current line-up also consists of Gregg Johnson (lead guitar), Thomas Kelsey (bass guitar; ex-Profiles Band and Revue* of “Boo-Koo-Stump” Carolina Soul fame), and Tim Faber (drums; also ex-Profiles Band and Revue). Local South Carolinian “James Brown, Jr.”

As a child he studied the violin at the Guildhall School of Music, winning a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music. He played in the bands of Ronnie Munro, Harry Parry and Roy Fox, but his longest association was with the orchestra of Geraldo, for whom he had a high regard. In 1956 that Eddie Strevens formed his own band, and passed a BBC audition. In 1959, he made the first of 89 appearances in 'Music While You Work', playing both violin and saxophone, supported by accordion, piano, bass and drums. Initially, he also included a guitar but he soon dispensed with this on broadcasts. Eddie Strevens and his Quartet played regularly in 'Morning Music', 'Breakfast Special', 'The Sam Costa Show', 'Music Through Midnight' and many other programmes. Eddie Strevens also enjoyed some success as a composer with titles such as 'Easy Come, Easy Go', 'Playtime for Poodles' and 'Getting With It'. Eddie Strevens died in 2001. |

Search | Add | 2 | Delaytanten | Austrian: Retired band dad & jack-of-all-trades Toni Pichler was informed in writing after refusing the pleasure tax by municipal letter that “amateurs would have to pay a pleasure tax in any case”. That gave him the idea to look for fellow sufferers and fellows. So he moved through the then still manageable town of Bad Leonfelden and asked all "dilettantes" known to him to form up and play amateurish music with each other at irregular intervals (1st appearance of the DELAYTANTS: August 15, 1996 at the "dumpling table" - how appropriate ...). Over the years, the loose original idea was discarded and a “real” band was formed - with a special feature: every member HAD to sing, main and choir parts! This is how the DELAYTANTEN trademark, which has been preserved to this day, came about ... The combo was formed to actively keep the pop music legacy of the previous century alive! In the meantime, more than 20 years have passed since this band was founded and, as if by a miracle, both former and current members of the band survived this long period of time noticeably undamaged despite excessive rock'n'roll existence.

Search | Add | 2 | Terry Pazmiño | Classic concertist born in Quito, Ecuador. Pazmiño belongs to a generation of composers and virtuousos who demystified the European influences and rediscovered popular music from Latin America. The work of Pazmiño is the result of a constant search of his roots, enriched with frequent tours around the world; and it has progressively become an approach to the indigenous sources, and it gives a great variety of tendencies. In his youth, he dominated the forms of the Ecuadorian popular music, such as the sanjuanito, pasillo, capishca and yumbo. Subsequently, he traveled to Venezuela and France to study with three masters of the instrument: Antonio Lauro, Alirio Diaz and Alberto Ponce. For nine years he lived and studied in Sydney, Australia, where he achieved a "Honours Masters" degree from the university of Western Sydney; there he disclosed the South American folk music. Many of his compositions are derived from andean Quichua and Latin American music. Pazmiño has biult a singular repertoire based on the urban popular music, capturing the magical realism of the daily life. He has offered recitals and concerts in the greatest rooms of 42 countries, including the "Sydney Opera House" and the "Carnegie Hall" of New York, sharing a work that gives power, originality, magic, simplicity, enchantment and freshness, all from one guitar. The critics say "... as in music everything has been told, Terry re-tells the same stories, but in a different way ". From his extensive musical production, several pieces deserve special distinction: the composition "Cantata to November 15th of 1922", Booklet "20 harmonizations of Ecuadorian music for guitar", 15 books of "Ecuadorian music for duets, trios and guitar soloists", the "Treasures of Music" collection, "Songs for a New World", and "Concert of the Andes". He has produced 10 cassettes and 4 compact discs, with arrangements and compositions that has become the most faithful testimony of his work.
