Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Quinton Blair | Michael Quinton Blair | Honest as a day spent on a tractor, and driven like the drifting Prairie snow. 2018 Manitoba Country Music Association Roots Artist of the Year, Quinton Blair is a road running, tale-spinning songwriter. Silky and smooth like a diesel engine, his beard glistening in the setting sun, its rodeo mud in his teeth and horses in his blood. Blair’s wide understanding of country music suits him perfectly to the task of working the stages with the all-stars of both roots and mainstream country music in Canada. He has shared stages with Del Barber, Tim Hus, Shred Kelly, The Bros Landreth, and the likes of George Canyon, Doc Walker, High Valley, Corb Lund, Terri Clark, Charlie Major, Restless Heart, Emerson Drive, and more. He has showcased and performed at the CCMA’s, Folk Alliance - Kansas City, Break Out West, Manitoba Arts Network, OSAC, Dauphin’s Country Fest, Festival du Voyageur, Canada Day at the Forks, and Chinook Rodeo Association Finals. Named Manitoba Country Music Association’s 2015, 2016 Roots Artist of the Year, and 2017 Male Artist of the year, was again named the MCMA 2018 Roots Artist of the Year. His blue collar approach to the music business has him pickin’ a guitar nearly every weekend, and has allowed him to play stages as far north as Nunavut, and Dawson City and as far south as Nashville, Tennessee, demonstrating his insatiable thirst for the stage. The authenticity of Blair shines through in the many formats in which he travels. Blair as a solo artist, relies on his guitar, witty stories, and keen ability to capture the crowd night after night. He is often joined by good friend Bill Western Jr (Nathan, Del Barber) on pedal steel, or his whole band of honky tonk All Stars. Through the summer months, Blair is most often seen moving his band back and forth across the prairies, in between hauling his horses to Ranch Rodeos in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Wrangling horses is in his blood, and has been a part of the Blair family for generations. |

He enlisted fellow Mars members, Mark Cummingham and Connie Burg, plus [a=DNA (4)]'s Ikue Mori, to work on the project. The quartet rehearsed the tracks for about a year before recording. DNA's Arto Lindsay and his brother Duncan, also joined on the recordings of the album. The record was put out on Cunningham's own label, Hyrax, in 1980. In the early '80s, some Italian fans made a video of the whole opera. After John Gavanti, Cunningham, Burg and Duncan Lindsay formed [a=Don King].

| Search | Add | 3 | Humareda | Humareda was born in the summer of 2005 when Roger and Jordi, two old friends of the highschool, meet again to share some of the songs they have been composing during a period of reflection. Wanting to do something interesting with them, comes the idea of recruiting people who are willing to take this project forward. The first to join is Albert, who starts playing the flamenco cajón and some more percussion. The three alternate the trials between Ruché's house, in the neighborhood of La Sagrera, and Valldonzella 12, an old squatted farm where numerous social activities are organized. Soon after Tomy, playing the electric bass, and Gerard, playing the cajón. In this way they transfer the tests in Villa Elvira, a little house located in La Floresta, where Albert and Tommy share the roof. With this formation, on April 16, 2006 they perform their first concert, precisely in Valldonzella 12, when the eviction and subsequent demolition of the farm is announced. From now on they begin to go through the stages of some inhospitable places and some greater neighborhood festivity. When Albert decides to devote more to the drums and leave the cajón in second place, La Floresta is left to rehearse regularly in the bucs of the Garcilaso Center in La Sagrera. In addition, Jordi Bigay, a friend of the group that records all the concerts, joins until December 1, 2007, opens in Sant Andreu as a smoke more. With it you get a cooler and lively live, since it has full mobility on the stage and puts all the nose and salt shaker necessary. In November 2008, an initiative of Jaume Capella, a great friend of Humareda who acts as a manager of the group, becomes a reality: the contribution to the Festival of the Sant Andreu de Palomar neighborhood, composing a song that becomes the hymn of this party. Tots Al Carrer! It sounds in all the acts and parades of the neighborhood. Finally, people have the possibility to listen to it and sing it live at the concert given by Humareda in the big tent of Can Fabra on December 7, 2008. Due to the good acceptance that the song has, the band decides to make promotional CDs that , apart from Tots Al Carrer !, includes Solterín Solterón, and gives them to a large part of the people who will see them, thus becoming the first model of the group. In addition, it is in this concert that also premieres screenings made by Antyproductions (www.antyproductions.org), a small production company that collaborates to enrich the live performance of the group. After several concerts, the summer of 2009 is closed in studio to record Maketeando, the second model, which includes 6 songs recorded in La Universal, plus a song recorded in Café Con Leche Records. Finally, Maketeando comes out in January 2010 and is presented in concert on the 15th of the same month at the Garcilaso Center in La Sagrera. After many concerts in Barcelona and nearby, the summer of 2011, Ger decides to leave the group and Alejandro enters instead. That translates into an opportunity to experience a new sound. With him, during the last months of 2011, they have begun to register the third model of the group. New congas sound, guitars with effects, new rhythms and melodies, more percussion and new bass lines. | |

AKA Errol "Spears" Ruddock, Errol "Starkey" Ruddock, Spears, Spear, King Spears, Wild Starkey, Tekle Hymanot... Son of Jamaican immigrants arrived in Britain in late 50s, he learnt to play Drums at the age of eight, taught by his brother, then he went on to play with a church band where he self-taught Bass and Rhythm guitar. After leaving the church he embraced Rastafari and soon joined sound systems Jah Youth, and Jah Nyah. Then he joined Reggae band Amahra (with lead singer [a=Junior Roots]), who acted as backing band for Sugar Minott on his first UK tour. His first recording session was with Sugar Minott and the Ahmara band in a four track studio in Erdington Birmingham, this is where he got his first taste of Studio recording, and knew he had natural ability in this aspect of the music industry. In his Sound days adventure he met up with Irvin Woolley now known as [a=Wooligan], who could build his own pre-amps and amplifiers, and had his own sound (Orthodox Sound System), they formed the [url=https://www.discogs.com/label/1540797-Mind-Searchers-Studio]Mindsearchers Studios[/url] & production outfit. He also formed a session band called [a=Truths & Rights (2)] Syndicate, and worked with [a=Phillip Whittaker] on the labels [l=New Talents] & [l=Silicon Squad] ([l=Silicon Squad Studios]). Approximately 115 interested singers attended its first Saturday night rehearsal in the Bates Street Christian Reformed Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Drawn from many vocations and professions and from various churches throughout the West Michigan area, we are committed to praising God together and greatly enjoy singing and sharing our ministry of music, featuring spirituals and classical, traditional, and contemporary styles. The choir has been blessed in bringing its musical ministry not only to Grand Rapids and the West Michigan area, but also to a number of states, near and far, -- Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, New Jersey, Washington D.C., California and Washington. The Choir has also travelled to Ontario, Canada and has conducted two concert tours to the Netherlands.

| Search | Add | 3 | Joy Exit | Joy Exit is an Istanbul and New York based Electronic Pop Duo. Their name was inspired by Frida Kahlo's dying words, "I hope the exit is joyful and I hope never to return." The vision of creating an electronic pop sound with a seductive cinematic essence brought the two members of the band together. The music and lyrics emerged were sparked by the desire for freedom from the limitations imposed by fear and conditioning. Dark and melancholic with an acutely cinematic edge and a hint of arabesque, Joy Exit merge their dreamy synth-soundscape with wistful guitars and a lush, moody contralto. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Inwait | In Wait | In Wait great band from Guayaquil born in 1999 initially with the missing members Miguel Cruz and Arturo Rodriguez was a band with its own style as you can see in its melodies. In those times they still did not play in concerts and never They imagined the great reception they would get. Then they split Miguel and Arturo, giving way to [a6144363] and [a6625986] who met in the student era at Sek School and finally to [a6627140] who would be the voice of this spectacular band, given that they had no drummer and in their eagerness to search [a6144363] meets [a6816701] for the Mirc, and invites him to be part of the band, and it is here that melodies like Dalia, Maldita Perra and if you could understand that quickly won the good reviews of the Guayaquil scene are born. With very catchy melodies this group decides to release their first album titled Tonta illusion, but it still does not go on sale due to the economic situation that is going through, we hope to have them on stage soon, and from now people are invited to support the Monster of punk with Code Red of Colombia where In Wait will be one of the bands that will share the stage, without a doubt this performance is deserved by the dedication that they waste in each presentation. |

All band members were high school kids(16 years old) when they recorded for the first and the only self-released EP in 1984, and they featured dual vocals by twin brothers! They had a pretty big fan base during the active years, played shows with other local punk bands such as The Star Club, Oxydoll(Tatsuya Nakamura's old band), The Genbaku Onanies, SA(Original), Rocka Rolla, etc. There was a release plan for Rose Jets’ first album by Captain Records when the label had just started in 1985 but that never happened because the band broke up. They did manage to play the now-legendary “Sukiyo!! Captain” free outdoor concert in front of 8,000 audiences at the Shinjuku station square with Gastunk, Cobra, The Willard, Kyahh→, Uchoten and Papaya Paranoia, which was a promotional event held to celebrate the launch of Captain Records on August 18th, 1985. The Rose Jets frontmen and brotmhers Akihiro Kondo and Hiroyuki Kondo are currently active as a reggae duo [a=Ackee & Saltfish]. In 1998 during the A&S concert at the Diamond Hall in Nagoya, Rose Jets did a one-time only reunion show where they performed their classic punk tune "In The History" featuring original members. Also this song was recorded in studio around the same time and included on one of A&S's albums as a Rose Jets bonus track in 1998.

| Search | Add | 3 | Vincent Yuen Ruiz | Vincent (Yuen) Ruiz (1990) is a Swiss musician, composer and improviser living in Copenhagen. His latest work has been a study in patience, a focus on repetition and the interaction between timbres and resonances. A certain idea of stillness often leads his sonic explorations, as well as giving a narrow framework to his improvisational style. With a minimalism bordering on reductionism, Ruiz mixes tonal melodies and textural approaches. He works both as a solo artist and with various ensembles. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in double bass from the Musik Akademie Basel and a Master of Music in performance from the Rytmisk Musik Konservatorium of Copenhagen. He was awarded the Leenaards cultural grant in 2015 as an encouragement to further his compositional work. Ruiz was the former double bass player of the minimalist/post-jazz group Plaistow. He is a member of the Insub Meta Orchestra since 2017. He has performed extensively in Europe, Russia and Japan notably at the London Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Bimhuis, Klub Katarakt and Centre Culturel Suisse (Paris). He has played or collaborated with a vast array of musicians and improvisers including Magnus Granberg, Michael Pisaro, Greta Eacott, Nicole Hogstrand, d’incise, Samuel Reinhard, Emanuele Maniscalco, Kresten Osgood, Diatribes and Ryota Miyake. | |
