Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Maxx Cabello Jr. | Bay Area local Maxx Cabello Jr. is known for his guitar chops, his soulful voice and mixing it up with a wide range of styles. He plays everything from slow soul jams, blazing electric blues and Latin rock. This powerful and captivating guitarist and prolific songwriter is turning heads and bending the ears of veteran musicians and diverse audiences of all ages. Cabello grew up surrounded by music and photos of Maxx as a toddler, sleeping in his father’s guitar case, show he was destined to be a musician. “Dad plays folk-Spanish music,” Cabello said. “When him and my mom sing, it will make you cry. It’s that kind of deep, real traditional Spanish music.” But Cabello’s corazón led him to the blues. “What I love about the blues,” he said, “there’s no right or wrong way to do it. It’s in the delivery. If the people can feel it, then you are doing it right. I play from my heart.” His shades of music are reminiscent of the most renowned guitarists of our time. In his work are the inspirations of Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana, and Maxx definitely adds his own artistry. His hard-driving playing is accomplished as well as energetic. He expresses his music with sensitivity and honesty giving him a very recognizable voice. Maxx has been fortunate enough to open for greats such as Earth, Wind, and Fire; Tommy Castro; and Morris Day & The Time. Recently he opened for the popular alternative group Third Eye Blind. Cabello blew the crowd away and they responded with a standing ovation for his captivating performance. Maxx has played all over the country as well as internationally. He has played many prestigious venues including BB Kings Blues Clubs in Hollywood and NYC, CBGB's, and the Oakland Raiders Half-Time Show. "Oh yeah, that boy can really play!"—John Lee Hooker

Using mainly synthesizers to create constantly evolving sound, each Nada performance fluctuates between drone and pure waves evoking altered states of consciousness, daydreaming, sonic meditation and cosmic kitsch. The members of this ever-changing collective prefer to stay anonymous and meet at non-fixed intervals of time, indetermination being at the heart of their approach. |

Search | Add | 3 | Shrink Trip | Shrink Trip was formed at Drew University in Madison, NJ, circa 1989, originally by drummer Bob Joyal, guitarist Andrew Hurford and guitarist/vocalist Marc Beschler. Taking their cue from a variety of musical sources, most predominantly Camper Van Beethoven and the Butthole Surfers, with occasional forays into Bad Religion-style hardcore, Shrink Trip wanted to play a kind of psychedelic punk rock that would appeal to their mixed crowd of friends, which included punks, hippies, and plenty of in-betweens, as well as reflect their interest in, shall we say, alternate states of mind. The original line-up was filled out by Nick Boyle on bass. In 1990, Boyle was replaced by Mike Thomas, who added a funky dimension with his bass work reminiscent of Fishbone and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. This line-up recorded the 'Puce-Colored Glasses' demo. For a while, they enjoyed being part of a mini-scene concentrated at Drew University, with several different on-campus bands playing joint shows at the university's coffee house The Other End and at outdoor seasonal events. Thomas subsequently left and was replaced by Jeff DeSmedt, a veteran of the multi-faceted band Roadside Myth. Not long after this, Beschler switched to concentrating purely on vocals, with Peter Bonnell of fellow Drew band Skeevy Jeets joining as the second guitarist. This quintet recorded the 'All-Purpose Creamy Head' demo, which included the song 'Curse,' a track composed by all five members that reflected their then-intense love for Fugazi. Founding member Hurford left the band a while later, to be replaced by Jason Johnson on guitar. This line-up recorded the 1993 'The 'O' Single' for Oculus records, with Bonnell deciding that it would be his last effort with the band. A while after this, another founding member, Joyal, also went on to other things and was replaced by long-time friend of the band Django Phillips, who had also done the graphic design for 'The 'O' Single.' This line-up of Beschler (vocals/guitar), DeSmedt (bass), Johnson (guitar) and Phillips (drums) played gigs in New York and New Jersey for a time before ultimately going their separate ways. DeSmedt went back to working on Roadside Myth, recording a full-length CD album, 'Surreal Woman and Other Songs,' in 1995 that included appearances by Johnson, Joyal, Phillips and Beschler. Johnson went on to spearhead the jazz rock project Fern Hill, and Beschler and Phillips joined up with Jennifer Werner and Dominick Nervi to form the mid-'90s stoner-punk-metal outfit [a=Nancy Sumatra] (originally called Guttersnipe).

Search | Add | 3 | Subject2Change | Subject2Change was a Nu Metal band formed in 2002 in Atlanta, Georgia. They not super models. We don't auto-tune. We don't have our producers play our parts, and we don't give a crap. We play our instruments and write about what we feel. We love to perform, we love to write honestly, and we want to share that with you. We have donned the stage with notables such as Anthrax, Chevelle, Taproot, Seether, Ludacris, Soulfly, 12 Tribes, Nonpoint, Dry Kill Logic, Stuck Mojo, Burn Season, Minus.Driver, Fight Paris, City Sleeps, and Crossfade. From the moment you hear Subject2Change, you can't help but be mesmerized by the energy and vibrations proactively radiating from the stage. Melodic ambient psychedelic overtures, complex hard driving guitar riffs, mutant rhythms, and dynamic explosive vocals pour over the crowd like a tidal wave. The Subject2Change sound embodies thought and emotion, constantly questioning the boundaries of music and existence. With every swell and croon, Subject2Change draws you further into a compelling world of audio and visual masterpiece, proving their passion for life and music. The tight knit 5-piece from Atlanta, GA has seen nothing but success and growth since their inception in late 2002.
Search | Add | 3 | Dutch Cove Old Time String Band | The Dutch Cove String Band, part of the Appalachian family string band tradition, is named after their home valley near Canton, North Carolina. Their family fiddling roots stretch back to Turner Smathers, who was a well known musician until his death in the mid-1800s. His nephew, Hack Timmons, and another relative, Aldie Winfield Smathers, were successful fiddlers in their own right. Quay Smathers (1913-1993) played with the popular Smather's Family Band (apparently no relation) in the 1930s and early 1940s. In 1973, Quay and his daughters—June, Cynthia and Liz—formed the Dutch Cove String Band. Liz's husband, Lynn Shaw, and June's husband, Zeb Jolley, also played with the band over its 20-year history. Quay Smathers received a N.C. Folk Heritage Award in 1991 and the band performed for a final time in 1993 at Carowinds, when the Charlotte Folk Music Society honored the band and gave an award to Quay for his preservation of traditional folk music

It would not be an exaggeration to say that Nicolas Osorgin's whole life was connected with the estate at 93 rue de Crime, better known under the Russian name "Sergius Compound" ("compound" or "Saint-Serge's monastery"), which was transferred to him during his purchases, in 1924, by Metropolitan Evlogii. Nicolas Ossorgin was the second son of [a3709299] (1887–1950), a former officer in the cuirassier regiment of the Empress and marshal of the Kaluga nobility, and Countess Helene Muravieva-Vilenskaya (1893–1968). His parents emigrated after the Russian Revolution and the defeat of the White armies in the Crimea, first to Constantinople, then to Germany, and finally to Paris. On July 18, 1924 (on the day of the feast of the uncovering of the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh according to the Julian calendar), Michel Ossorgin, on behalf of Metropolitan Evlog, acquired from public auction on behalf of the Metropolitan, property at 93 Crime Street, in Paris. |

Search | Add | 3 | Gerakan Pramuka | Pramuka | Gerakan Pramuka Indonesia (Indonesian Pramuka Movement) is the national scouting organization of Indonesia. Scouting was founded in the Dutch East Indies in 1912, and Indonesia became a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) in 1953. Its membership is compulsory for students.[1] It has 21,599,748 members (as of 2011),[2] making it the world's largest Scout association. Each year 14 August is celebrated as Pramuka Day to honour the organisation's first public parade in 1961, wherein independence hero Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX of Yogyakarta was appointed as the first Chief Scout of the GPI. With the 2013 education curriculum in effect, it is compulsory for all Indonesian students to join the scout movement as scouting is officially one of the study units in the curriculum. This contributes to the movement's recognition as the world's largest. The name Pramuka was derived from the acronym of "Praja muda karana", (Sanskrit: young people willing to work). The Pramuka word in Indonesia is currently often used as a term for scouting. |

Search | Add | 3 | Cardavercus | Took the name Cardavercus in 1998, and led by ex-Severe Warning founder Bryan Renken and main songwriter Ace The Raven in 1998. Formed from the combination of two previous bands. Renken, led by Renken, Ace, Darrin Winne, and Gary "Meat" Vosecky from 1993 to 1994 (which also recruited Mike Marczak in 1994), and 1996-1997, and an unnamed band of Ace, Scott, and Mike that lasted from 1994 to 1996, before they combined into the new Renken lineup in 1996. This lineup would record a 5 song demo in June of 1997 that includes future-Cardavercus songs. This lineup then changed their name to Cardavercus in early 1998, a name that Ace thought of in August of 1997 and was included in a list of possible band names to change Project Raven to, until this project was put on hold to focus on Renken. Under both names, Renken and Cardavercus, they would end up playing some previous Project Raven songs, and newer Ace-penned songs that he would later bring back his solo project after Cardavercus split up. The 1997 demo included "Immune" and "The Secret (Non Omnis Moriar)" and "Life Will Decay", all past Project Raven songs, and after the name change to Cardavercus they would play these as well as "Free" and "Threshold", "The Dark Plan", "Blinded", "The Unseen" and others, many later recorded on the Ace the Raven album "Fortress of Apathy" in 2005. Cardavercus also even played a cover of Nitefall's "Island of Courage... Sea of Despair", which Project Raven and Ace The Raven both also covered, although both versions are unreleased. During the early days of Renken, 1993-1994 they would play many re-structured Severe Warning songs, as well as future-Cardavercus songs such as "Cold Vengeance", "Water Into Wine" and "Dying Day", as well as future Ace The Raven songs such as "Hell Is Above" and "Journey Into Fear". Cardavercus' recorded their debut 4-song demo in early 1999 and independently released it in spring of the same year. Their official press packs of the era list Venom, Mercyful Fate and Sepultura as some of their influences. In late 1999 they went back into Digitrax Recording Studio and began working on their second CD "Cardavercus II: We Return Again, but unfortunately they split up for good during the recording process and it was never completed. In 2005 Ace The Raven re-issued the demo, with a varied front cover and on an enhanced CD with a bonus QuickTime Video clip of the song "Dying Day", recorded in concert in 1999 from one of shows that Severe Warning bassist Darrin Winne played with them for. This is another song that dates back to Renken rehearsals in 1994. After the Renken/Cardavercus lineup of Renken/Ace/Scott/Mike was established Renken started another band as well, called Bat Rastard. This band included both Renken drummers in the band officially, alongside original Severe Warning bassist, Poyzon-founder, future Cardavercus bassist Darrin Winne, and Bryan Renken on guitars and vocals. Bat Rastard recorded a 3 song demo "Bat Rastard Live at Practice", played live onto on 8-Tracks on July 8th 1997, and soon after played their only 2 live shows, with Greg on drums for one and Scott on drums for the other. After their split Darrin would fill in live for several Cardavercus shows in 1998 and 1999, before officially replacing Mike Marczak in 2000 shortly before the band split up.

Search | Add | 3 | GemValleyMusiQ | GemValleyMusiQ, are considered with Toxicated Keys as pioneers of the Rough Amapiano genre. The three members of GemValleyMusiQ (22-yo Comfort Mphahlele aka Rushky D' MusiQ , 23-yo Phuti Makhafola aka Phuddy Jay and 18-yo Ofentse Mauwane aka Drumonade) kept some of the basic principles of classic Amapiano : mid-tempo BPMs, syncopated beats and energetic, party-oriented vocals. But they stripped out the warmth and sweetness of the original version and made room for robotic vibes an eerie feel of never-ending pressure. They produce mid-tempo house music, like regular Amapiano, but its swing sounds from another world : it's called the "clunk bass", and it's both dark and uplifting. Around it moves two-note motifs and drum patterns, with jazzy vamps and sunrise-ready synths. This is music you could almost chill to, but actually mental enough to make you go slowly crazy on the dancefloor. Recently, GemValleyMusiQ released the single Jozi Night which was considered as one of the hottest viral songs on TikTok last summer. And they remixed of the French pop band Phoenix. It's coming from the future, and this is now out on PSSNGR, a new label dedicated to emerging African electronic.
