Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Interstate 35 | Wolfram Reiter | INTERSTATE 35 basically is Wolfram Reiter's conceptual noise project, a dedication to certain serial murders and a series of various collaborations of him and everytime other friends/musicians/artists working together for one release each. Wolfram is an experimental artist and movie maker from austria, absolutely fond of zombie/trash/splatter movies and weird/macabre stuff like i.e. biographies of serial murders - that's maybe where the idea for the concept behind INTERSTATE 35 comes from. since 1994 he is involved in various other projects like JANE DOE, BONEFARM, HEAD OF YAGAN and METASTASE (to name a few), he has been invited to perform at various locations by associations acting in the experimental/noise/avat-garde field like i.e. qujochoe as well as underground film festivals and the like. and - he is d.i.y. in its most original meaning: almost every single record he ever produced was also released by himself, including artwork and recording as well. besides all these activities he runs a record store in feldkirch/vorarlberg (in the very western region of austria) and right now he is busy to finish 2 movies and the next part of his INTERSTATE 35 series. |

| Search | Add | 3 | George Heid III | George Heid III | George Heid III is a drummer, percussionist, and composer whose diverse musical passions range from jazz, funk and classical to world and electronic genres. George Heid III grew up in his father’s recording studio and began playing drums and piano at age 3. His earliest lessons took place at home with his father, George Edward Heid—a great musician and true champion of the music. In this environment, he was always immersed in music and surrounded by powerful musical influences, such as jazz guitarist Jimmy Ponder and his uncle Bill Heid, a world-class pianist and Hammond B3 jazz musician. Those formative years laid the roots of George’s musical journey. By age 10, George was attending classes at the Afro-American Music Institute, studying with Thomas Wendt and James Johnson III. Later, he graduated from Pittsburgh’s Creative and Performing Arts High School, where he was mentored by jazz drumming legend Roger Humphries. After high school, he attended Pittsburgh’s Duquesne University as well as the State University of New York at Purchase, where he studied with master jazz drummers Kenny Washington, John Riley, and Richie Morales. George has toured and played at numerous notable jazz venues across the United States and China, including three multi-month residencies in Hangzhou, China. He has recorded with numerous well-known artists, including Bill Heid, Roger Humphries, Dwayne Dolphin, Paul Thompson, Steve Shehan, Jamey Haddad, Joe “Sonny” Barbato, Victor Provost, Warren Wolf, Arsen Petrosyan, Daniel May, Antonio Croes, Ron Blake, Henry "The Skipper" Franklin, Sean Jones, Bob Reynolds, David Budway, Orrin Evans and his Elevations bandmates, Brett Williams, Anton DeFade, Michael Stephenson and Benny Benack III. He’s also performed at numerous festivals, including the Monterey Jazz Festival, Pittsburgh JazzLive International Festival, Tri-C Jazz Fest Cleveland, Washington Jazz Festival, among others. George is the recipient of numerous awards as both a performer and composer, including the The ASCAP Foundation Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award, Downbeat magazine’s 2013 Best Original Jazz Composition award, and back-to-back Outstanding Soloist awards at the Monterey Next Generation Jazz Festival awards in 2011 and 2012. George currently leads groups under his own name and performs with The Precipice Community Band, Arcadia, The Dwayne Dolphin Fo'tet and Paul Thompson's Wayntet. George also serves on the board of Lighthouse Arts, Inc., a nonprofit founded by his father, George Edward Heid, and Dr. Harry Clark. Lighthouse Arts is a passionate collective dedicated to restoring jazz’s central place in American culture through artist advocacy, education, and high-level performance. With deep respect for the music’s history and a commitment to its future, the organization works to preserve jazz’s legacy, support the artists who carry it forward, and connect communities across generations through dynamic programs, partnerships, and outreach. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Rufino The Catalan Casanova | Phillip Branson | An engaging and charming Black Sea Gentleman with the skills of entertainer, violinist, card dealer, escape artist and distorter of truth. Excerpt from THE HISTORY OF MIKELANGELO AND THE BLACK SEA GENTLEMEN: For decades the group toured Europe and Asia Minor receiving ovations and accolades. All was well until the sudden and tragic demise of the beloved Senor Handsome on the eve of the groups’ debut at the Kirov Opera, St. Petersburg. Though details remain shrouded in mystery, it is believed he was thrown from his horse while hastily leaving the residence of one of his many lovers…and in that awful moment it seemed that the Black Sea Gentlemen would be no more. Despondent, the Gentlemen left St. Petersburg and made their way to the Bulgarian Black Sea town of Varna, hitting the drinking houses to drown their collective sorrow. It was in a particularly seedy gambling den, at some unfathomable hour, that the Gentlemen lost all their worldly possessions to a sly young Catalan Casanova named Rufino. The inveterate gambler and confidence man was bemused at having won himself a piano accordion, a clarinet and a kontrabass, and announced, ‘I once swindled the devil himself for his infernal violin only to lose it in a card game a few days later, all I have left is the bow!’ Half mad with grief and drink, Mikelangelo then brought out the last thing the Gentlemen had, Senor Handsome’s violin, and placed it on the gambling table. Instantly, tears welled up in the eyes of Rufino and he began to shake quite uncontrollably. Calming himself with a walnut brandy, he opened the case, gently picked up the instrument and played a lament so heartrending that the whole room fell silent. He then cleared his throat, ‘my friends, this was once my brother’s violin, just last night I dreamed that he died, tell me this is not true.’ The Gentlemen all stared into the eyes of Rufino and saw that same fire that had danced in the eyes of Senor Handsome, and in that moment they knew that he too was a Black Sea Gentleman. |

He was born on November 16, 1980, and took up drums at age 8 after hearing drummer Lester Grant playing at Pilgrim United Church of Christ, which Quinerly attended with his family. Quinerly attended the High School of the Performing and Visual Arts and went on to attend the Mannes School of Music at New School University in New York where he got to study with three great drummers: Jimmy Cobb, Lewis Nash, and Kenny Washington. From the start, Quinerly was less interested in becoming the next traps phenomenon than developing into a complete artist whose skills as a composer and arranger were fully integrated into his prowess at the traps. He went on to earn his Master’s in Jazz Studies at Juilliard, after which this “conscientious jazz drummer with a nimble and approachable style” (New York Times) played with such leading artists as Wynton and Branford Marsalis. With saxophonist Marcus Strickland, he played and lectured as part of Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Jazz in the Schools program. In the fall of 2017 he returned to Juilliard as an adjunct professor. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Yorktown Lads | Yorktown Lads is Cameron Lew, Addison Love, and Michael Simmons. They were formed when Addison and Cameron were persuaded by their high school teacher (Simmons) to work on music together, since they shared similar songwriting sensibilities. After tracking a few songs, they added a few from Simmons and decided to record a full LP project and release it via a kickstarter campaign. They played a few shows before spinning off to do other things, yet they keep in contact and sometimes talk about making more music. Members: Yorktown Lads is primarily known as the launching point for Ginger Root’s Cameron Lew, who shot to fame after a stream of viral videos and singles. He and his band have been touring the world for a number of years and Cameron has released a number of albums under the Ginger Root moniker. Mr. Simmons is probably the longest known of the three, having been in many bands over the last 30 years, most notably as one of the lead singers of sparkle*jets u.k. whom he is still actively involved with, as well as the Popdudes. Coming from a musical family, Addison has been performing his whole life and has been playing professionally on a regular basis for the past few years, as well as fronting his own original band. He has spent the last few years working as University faculty doing Music Production while raising his two children. He released a solo album in Big Stir Records called ‘Thoughts on Lunch’ and has new material awaiting a second release. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Bob Livorio | A favorite radio show of Pittsburghers for 36 years was the “Saturday Morning Listening Habit” that was hosted by Bob Livorio on WKPA. Beginning on the air in the late 1950's Livorio was one of the first Pittsburgh area DJs to play R&B and "Doo Wop" which was then categorized as "race music".' "Of the hundreds of radio personalities who have passed through the Pittsburgh market in 85 years of radio, few make an impact, The Valley has in Bob Livorio at least one of a handful of radio legends that shaped the way we grew up listening to the radio - as a companion, a friend." Ron Antill WISH program director (Tribune Review Interview 2005) Livorio's show was so popular in 1961 that students from three high schools demanded Kennywood Park to play Bob's show over the park's loud speakers. They did not want to miss Bob's show while they were at their school picnics. Bob Livorio went on the air for the first time 1957. Radio and music were his passions. Bob moonlighted as a radio DJ on WKPA for three hours each Saturday morning. He worked full time as an advertising salesman for the New Kensington, Pa newspaper the Daily Dispatch . Bob played a mix of rock and ballads on his programs. "Psycho" by the Sonics and "Surfer Joe"/"Wipeout" by the Surfaris were two garage rock classics that he introduced on his show. Among his favorite ballads were I Only Have Eyes For You" by the Flamingos, "Forever" by the Marvelettes, and "Angel Baby" by Rosie & the Originals. Tommy James credits Bob as one of the DJs who broke the hit single Hanky Panky. Lovorio also supported the music of Pittsburgh artists. During the British Invasion years in the early 1960s he played the recordings of the Fenways, the Arondales, the Racket Squad, the Skyliners, and the Vogues. A WKPA advertisement highlighted the sounds of the Bob Livorio Show listing the songs High on a Hill, 69, Every Day's a Holiday, Please Love Me Forever, Stop Pretending, Lover's Island, and more. Listeners sent Bob hundreds of request letters each week. On Friday nights Bob gathered his wife and children in his living room. Together they read and sorted the requests. Bob picked his playlist forms from the requests and read the requestor's names on the air on Saturdays. Bob dedicated songs to his listeners. On weekend nights Lovorio spun records for his teenage fans at dances at Henry's in Tarentum, the New Kensington YMCA , the Birdville Fire Hall in Natrona Heights, and school sock hops. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Mysterell | Rock group from Italy. mysterell Welcome to Mr. Mysterell … In 1997 and 1998 the danish AOR group Pangea released the albums “The First” & “Manchild”. Two albums in the AOR vein with a heavy touch. No doubt that the guitarist and leadsinger from this group Torben Lysholm had a unique voice and his talent on the guitar is among the best. The group had a great success in Japan, and in the beginning of 2000 they re-formed the group with new members and went into the studio to records songs to their 3rd album. The 3rd album has been recorded, but currently it hasnt´t been signed to any label yet, and Pangea is also adding a new frontman to the group, after Torben Lysholm decided to work with his own project called “Mysterell”. With Mysterell Torben Lysholm heads more at the musicstyle that we knows from legendary AOR bands such as Giant etc. Great AOR music with touch of west coast. Late 2004 the italian label Frontiers Records signed the project and now the album is released. This album has many highlights and the opening song “Don´t Ever Stop” take you to a music trip that don´t stop at all, with well written songs and a production that is handled great by Mr. Mysterell. Beside his solocareer Torben Lysholm is also working as a producer and songwriter, and in 2005 there will be some interesting project from his side. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Gina Haley | Linda Georgina Haley | Linda Georgina (Gina) Haley (born April 23, 1975, in Mexico) is an American singer-songwriter. Haley is the youngest child of rock and roll pioneer Bill Haley from his marriage to his last wife, Martha; she grew up in Harlingen, and she was only five years old when her father died in 1981. At 18 years old, she left home and set out to find her musical identity, which landed her in Houston. She is classically trained on piano and an accomplished self-taught guitarist and songwriter. During the mid-1990s, she left Houston and moved to Los Angeles.[3] She managed to catch the eye of producer Michael Sembello, and worked closely with him writing, recording, and arranging tracks which appeared in television and movies. Gina also worked closely with songwriter Richard Rudolph, and published songs through Music Sales Group. Her first self-titled album was released in Japan in 1999 Heat Wave. During these years in Los Angeles, she sang with the world music group called The Bridge, whose members included Edu Falcao, Daniel Jobim, Paulinho Da Costa, Vincent Colaiuta, and Michael Sembello. Gina later formed her own group, the Gina Haley Band, and continues to work in the musical field in her home state of Texas. On July 6, 2005, she performed with her father's old band, The Comets at the Viper Room in West Hollywood as part of 50th-anniversary celebrations of her father's famous song "Rock Around the Clock" reaching the number-one position on American sales charts, as well as what would have been Bill Haley's 80th birthday. In June 2008, the Gina Haley Band performed at the Bill Haley induction to the South Texas Music Walk of Fame in Corpus Christi, Texas. Other inductees included Chelo Silva, Pat Grogan, Joe Gallardo, Max Stalling, and The Reverend Horton Heat. Meeting Jim Heath (Reverend Horton Heat) was an important event in Gina's life. Jim had not intended to perform at the induction ceremony, as his band had not traveled with him, but decided to dedicate a Bill Haley song to Gina, a song that inspired him to become a musician. That song was "Rock the Joint". After years of contemplating making a rockabilly album, Gina had finally decided that it was time to carry on her father's legacy. A year later she sang "Rock the Joint" with Reverend Horton Heat at a concert in Dallas, Texas. She continues to perform in Texas with the Gina Haley Band, in her original alternative country sound. |
