Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Jorge Eduardo Eielson | Jorge Eduardo Eielson (April 13, 1924 – March 8, 2006) was a Peruvian artist and writer. As an artist he is known for his quipus, a reinterpretation of an ancient Andean device, they are considered precursors of conceptual art. Eielson was born in Lima on April 13, 1924. His father died when he was seven years old so he was raised by his mother. At a young age he developed artistic tendencies: he played the piano, drew copiously and recited poetry. Eielson switched schools several times until at the end of his secondary education he met the anthropologist and writer José María Arguedas who introduced him to the artistic and literary circles of Lima as well as to the knowledge of the ancient civilizations of Peru.[2] Eielson started studies at the National University of San Marcos in 1941. He won the National Poetry Award three years later and the National Drama Award in 1948, when he also held a successful art exhibition at the Lima Gallery. In the same year, he traveled to Paris under a French government scholarship, in that city he exhibited at the Colette Allendy gallery before traveling to Switzerland thanks to a UNESCO scholarship. In 1951, he travels to Italy for a summer vacation and decides to settle permanently in Rome. During this period he wrote the collection of poems Habitación en Roma and two novels: El cuerpo de Giulia-No and Primera muerte de María. In the late 1950s, he abandoned avant-garde and resorts to using materials such as earth, sand and clay to sculpt in the canvas surface; at first he uses this technique to depict landscapes but gradually moves towards human figures represented through clothing of various kinds. In 1963 he started his first quipu, reinventing this ancient Andean device with fabrics of brilliant colors, knotted and tied on canvas. Eielson's quipus were exhibited in the 1964 Venice Biennale to wide acclaim[citation needed]. In the mid 1970s, he traveled to Peru where he devoted himself to the study of pre-Columbian art; during this period, the Instituto Nacional de Cultura (National Institute of Culture) published most of his poetry under the title Poesía escrita. He received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1978 for a lecture in New York. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | ex machina project | ex machina | ex machina (also sometimes referred to as "ex machina project") is a music project that was founded by Claudio Chiriatti in 1999. right from the start Claudio used the possibilities of alternative distribution ways of his output over the internet. the first two albums were distributed exclusively over the internet. after a two year hiatus on new releases he signed a contract with the label FUEGO to release the music under that label. after Claudio moved back to his roots from Düsseldorf to his birth town Clausthal-Zellerfeld in 2008, he realized that working in the studio alone is boring and began to look around for some new collaborators for ex machina. during his search he found his old friend Tobias Schwerdt who has coincidentally just moved back from Berlin to Clausthal and who has played drums in several bands and projects in Berlin. after some trial sessions in the machina they both realized very soon that this is a fertile and exciting partnership. ex machina is completely independent. even though the label releases and distributes the music, the overall responsibility for every artistic decision, the artwork and the presentation are the responsibility of Claudio and Tobias. the music of ex machina is electronica based, with more alternative rock elements introduced since its album "no one". the genres of ex machina are: darkwave, alternative, electronica, synthpop. Members of ex machina are: Claudio Chiriatti Tobias Schwerdt |

Always looking out for something new, this passion has lead Pings to Djing, recording mix tapes, turntablism, production and events. Djing for the past 8 years and making music for around 4 years, Pings is a self-proclaimed ‘scratch nerd’ and it is apparent in his production style. Producing music on the Akai MPC Pings always goes for the classic hip hop sound with a fresh approach so expect plenty of hard hitting releases to come from this hip hop purist.

She debuted on record with a single already as a 15-year-old. In 1982, her LP Brinn came out with her own material. The critics were almost universally positive, but the music did not reach a large audience. In 1986, the single Så vacker Du är, which became a bigger success. After a long break, she then released her CD Liv on her own label in October 2005, where the song "Älskade barn" has been played on Sweden's Radio P4 and many local stations. "Älskade barn" was for a period the most requested song on Radio Gävleborg. In the summer of 2008, Green released another CD with 12 new tracks - Mitt bultande hjärta. It was a somewhat more beat-based CD with a wide range of genres - everything from the symphonic Lyss till den kärlek to the rock ballad Du är inte ensam. Green's music is built around her strong and self-revealing lyrics which are arranged and processed by her producer [a931758]. Karin is also the daughter of the late skiing legend Nils "Mora- Nisse" Karlsson from the village of Östnor in Mora, Dalarna. |

Before Modern Gank was produced by Log Zhelebour, this group had changed names several times. Finally, they used the name "Route 66" (from the song The Rolling Stones) and by agreement with Log Zhelebour this band decided to use the name Modern Gank. In 2001, Modern Gank (Mogank) released their first album entitled "Ular 2001". Then in 2003, an album entitled "Si Dolly" was launched by the Modern Gank children. The members of Modern Gank also feel the ins and outs of members of a band. In 2005 Adi (guitar) and Paunk (bass) left this group. In 2006, Modern Gank (Mogank) released another album entitled "Terus Terang". However, after this third album, news and musical activities of Modern Gank personnel were no longer heard. They prefer to take a hiatus from the Indonesian music scene for 5 years. In 2012 this group released their fourth album entitled This Is Modern Gank, and Adi (Mogank's first guitarist) was joined again and a new bassist was recruited, namely Hardiansyah Maulana (Brams). Modern Gank's fourth album was handled by Indie Label, where previously they had collaborated with Logiss Records for the first, second and third albums.

| Search | Add | 4 | Aldo Ferraresi | ALDO FERRARESI (Ferrara, 14 May 1902 – San Remo, 29 June 1978) Aldo Ferraresi was born in Ferrara historical centre at Nr.21 of Via Vittoria – formerly Via di Gatta marcia – in the Jewish ghetto, on 14 May 1902. His father Augusto, an artillery marshal and passionate mandolin player, and his mother Marcella Jesi, having noticed their child’s gift for music, sent him to the Frescobaldi Institute of Music of Ferrara at the age of five to study with professors Federico Barera and Umberto Supino. At the age of twelve, after a successful audition, Ferraresi was accepted at the Conservatory in Parma under the guidance of Mario Corti, who later accompanied him to Rome at the Academy of Santa Cecilia, where he received a violin degree with top marks aged fifteen. Aldo Ferraresi started his concert career at the Music High School in Bologna, and at the City and Verdi Theatres of Ferrara: a career of an “enfant prodige” with a bold and informal spirit, characteristic of his whole life. In Ferrara, while still very young, Ferraresi performed at the Apollo Cinema, in the orchestra of the silent cinema, and in the Café-concertos of Viareggio and Florence with his “Orchestra Ferraresi - Cortopassi”. His life was almost parallel to that of the great colleague Váša Příhoda (who was discovered by Arturo Toscanini at the Café Grand’Italia in the Gallery of Milan!). Only poets who have truly suffered are capable of creating real poetry. As Ferraresi recalls in his recorded life memories (CD18), Jan Kubelik presented him to Eugène Ysaye who afterwards held the young Aldo in great esteem, considering him his best pupil. | Search | Add | 4 | Lee Mace | Lee Mace was born July 30, 1927, at Brumley to Lucian Thomas and Clare Buster Mace. He founded "Lee Mace's Ozark Opry" at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. The Mace family owned and operated the show beginning in 1953 when Lee and his wife, Joyce, opened the doors to the show that became known as the longest running original Opry, second only to Nashville's Grand Ole Opry. It closed in 2006 when Joyce retired. During his 32 year operation of the show (and over 9,000 performances, both there and on the road), he never missed a performance. His trademark was playing a "rousing, slapping, free-wheeling bass fiddle." He died June 16, 1985, in a plane crash in Gladstone Cove on Lake of the Ozarks near Gravois Mills. A probe into the fatal crash of his homemade, single-engine airplane, did not disclose any mechanical failure. | |
