Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Burden Of Proof | Oi Punk Hardcore band from NYC (USA). The 1986 version of the Nihilistics, with original member Mike still on bass joined by Paul Bearer on vocals, Jon Page on guitar and Jon 'Wrecking Machine' on drums. Paul was replaced by Joe for a couple of shows played as the Nihilistics, then Wrecking Machine was replaced by Billy Psycho and the band changed its name to the Prophets of Doom which lasted a couple of shows into early 1987. After this, Mike, Billy Psycho and Brian started practicing - Billy left and Wrecking Machine returned - the band named itself Burden of Proof - Mark Adams (pre-In Your Face) sang for a couple of practices (which exist on an old cassette) - then Pete 'Sketch' came in on vocals and that lineup recorded the 12" in early 1988. And then it all fell apart, and Mike got back together with Ron and a couple of new guys and the Nihilistics were back and continue to this day. -Burden Of Proof facebook page Vocals: Pete 'Sketch' Guitar: Brian Bass: Mike King (5) Drums: Jon 'Wrecking Machine'

About 100 of these were dubbed on a twin tape deck with hand made labels glued to the tape shells. In the tradition of many bands in this genre, the complete lack of traditional musical prowess dictates that you basically start with nothing and while most initial output is disposable, sometimes you accidentally stumble upon that which gives a band it's sound/ personality... ...Onionbreath was never a fast band, nor one that was ever going to moderate itself within the trappings of an orthodox punk sound. The album length CYBERMAN VIBRATIONS ('93) consisted of a handful of experimental bedroom recordings as well as songs that were an integral part of the live set. At this point the techincal aspects had improved slightly... Brian from Ogre had acquired a 12 track desk with 9 tracks actually working on it, formerly belonging to the Radiators! Running 2 channels into this from the 4 track for stereo meant we had 9 to work with before we needed to start bouncing tracks... this way we were able to record the basics live in our drummer's bedroom and add tracks (hide our mistakes?) later... The various bedroom recordings were added in and sequenced on a "master" before we hit the twin tape decks again, and the "unlegendary" sunburst cyberman covers (our answer to all the rave graphics at the time) were moonlighted during a FAS course. This cassette got some very positive reviews on it's release and sold well, although in hindsight, this was Dublin in '93 and independent music was still in nappies, so there was definitely more empathy with zero budget operations... ...Towards the end of 1993 there were plans laid for a 7" single to be released in the summer of 1994 (we even got as far as making the plates for the sleeve), but as we all meandered off in our own direction, the last official business of Onionbreath was a gig in Fusion on O'Connell Street with Flexihead (this may very well have been their last gig too???)... ...Time has blurred much of that era but some fond memories include rehearsing in the drummer's shed and standing in the snow outside playing bass because there was so little room. Bullshitting a member of Ogre that State Of Shock by the Ex was our new demo was a moment definitely worth a mention, and of course the proudest moment live would have to be supporting the Spermbirds when they rolled through Dublin all those years ago. Then there were the many multi-bills upstairs in the Fox & Pheasant where 6-7 bands would use the same gear, sometimes right down to straps and plectrums, which would inevitably end with that long forgotten rite of passage - running for the last bus with a drum kit!!! ...While we were merely one of many who learned their chops around this time and went onwards and upwards with other ventures, the determination to contribute to underground culture in the city (without maybe ever fully integrating into it) and the resolution to beat general tedium with something constructive was the driving force behind the brief lifetime of Onionbreath.....

Chłopaki nawiązali współprace z Miejskim Centrum Kultury w Gdyni i wystąpili na „Nowej Scenie w Słupsku” (wraz z m.in.

Search | Add | 2 | 1984 Love Machine | The Loved Ones were a regular and a favourite at the "Draught House," at the foot of Perry street (125 S. Perry St.) for a number of years beginning about 1967 and continuing probably until its closing or the break-up of the band. The Draught House, one of Davenport's most famous and talked about social clubs didn't last long. It opened in the summer of 1965 and closed in 1970. For legal purposes, The Loved Ones had to change their name because another group by that name already existed. In fact, there were at least two. The members put their heads together and came up with "1984 Love Machine," perhaps alluding to the futuristic way-out sound the band created with a psychedelic fuzzy guitar. Their single included "Magic Baby," backed with "You're Breaking My Heart," recorded for the CBS International label of Nashville. It is believed that The Loved Ones was made up of members Cable Von Maur II and his wife Debbie (Dowdal) Von Maur, Ralph Iaccarino, Bob Teague, Tyson Kindell and Les Bell. As the "1984 Love Machine," the group played Wharton Field House on April 3, 1969, opening up for the legendary band [a215471]. Also playing that night was a relatively unknown group out of Chicago known as [a1355190]. The Loved Ones were really a good band with a bright future, but as often happened in those days, drugs and egos eventually broke the band up. Leslie (Les) Bell became an art professor at St. Ambrose College. Ralph Iaccarino was also an art instructor at St. Paul the Apostle School in Davenport. He was not only a very talented artist as a painter, but also as a song writer. He came to Davenport from New Haven, Connecticut about 1965 to attend St. Ambrose College where he majored in philosophy and minored in art. Tyson Kindell would later take his talents to Los Angeles where he became influential in the punk rock scene as [a322790] with a band named [a128581]. He became a very successful guitarist, and guitar designer and maker. Cable Von Maur started a successful construction business and was still performing locally into the early '80s with his group called the Torpedoes. The 1984 Love Machine's "Magic Baby" was written about Cable and Debbie's newborn daughter Rachel. The flip, "You're Breaking My Heart" was also a band original that was penned by Cable Von Maur. Credited with writing "Magic Baby" and producing the single in Nashville was [a379712]

Search | Add | 2 | Ionuț Radu | Adrian Ionuț Radu | Romanian DJ and Producer since 1997. Born in the summer of 1982 in the city Ramnicu Sarat, Romania. Music was his first passion and this was discovered by his parents at the age of 4 when he was playing drums using two spoons and a dining table. At the age of 7 he began taking piano lessons in his home town until high school where he discovered the way to create electronic music with computers and synthesizers. That was the moment when he decided that house, techno and trance were the perfect music genres for expressing himself. he produced at least 70 artists in his studio ( many of them reaching 1 top positions in Romania ) and he signed mainstream projects with Universal Music UK and Mach 1 (MOS), projects made in cooperation with Level K ( Frank Knebel ) and signed with the help of DJ VooDoo (Voodoo&Serano). These songs have been remixed by names like Gabri Ponte, Angel C, Potatoheadz, Jean Elan, DJ Raoul and Level K. Since June 2007 John Puzzle is busy working in the studio, producing new and exciting tunes for himself. |
