Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Stinas Visor | Swedish folk music group that they won the Gothenburg final at Liseberg of the Swedish top next. It was the summer of 2010 and the winning song Tågresa went hot in Swedish radio P4. Since then, the band has played at certain stages, festivals, churches and museums, mostly in Gothenburg and along the west coast. The band was started in late autumn 2009, when Stina Klintbom and Magnus Markling were inspired by a concert with Sofia Karlsson. Stina started writing songs already on the tram home and after some thought about which instruments would be included, Mirjam Simonsson on violin and Viktor Turegård on double bass and Oskar Reuter on guitar were asked. The first gig was an acclaimed debut at Kustens hus in Gothenburg. Only then did the band's name come and new ideas began to sprout, which among other things led to a mini tour in Halland. In 2012, the band got a fresh start when Viktor and Oskar thanked each other for being able to focus on their other assignments and were replaced by Johan Bengtsson on double bass and Andreas Nordanstig on guitar. In the spring of 2014, the group's first record was recorded, entitled When I Met You. In 2018, the band got a new member of Hanna Austern on violin and in February 2020, the band's second album Medan bäcken brusar was released.

Search | Add | 3 | Day Felice | David Lindström | A romantic theatricality permeates Swedish artist Day Felice’s chamber/art pop. Rather than just a singer/songwriter, he’s an integral creator: His multi-layered lyrics can remind you of Rufus Wainwright; but his love for colorful, cinematic emotional contrasts reveals a wide range of influences stretching from dark cabaret to 2000s piano rock (Coldplay, Muse). After playing with various musical ensembles, Day Felice got signed to Rexius Records in the beginning of 2018 and released his debut single “Autumn” last summer. The track earned him a feature on prominent Swedish blog Popmuzik and a warm reception among European audiences. (Words from www.rexiusrecords.com) |

Two years later, he performed at Carnegie Hall with noted Australian composer Percy Grainger. He joined NBC in the year of its formation, 1926, as a baritone soloist and announcer. In 1935, he received an award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters naming him “the best radio announcer from the standpoint of pronunciation, articulation, tonal quality, accent, and general cultural effect.” The prestigious Medal for Good Diction was also awarded to Havrilla. Between 1928 and 1946, he narrated Pathe newsreels and travelogues for Universal, Paramount Pictorial, and RKO movie producers. Havrilla joined radio station WPAT in Paterson, New Jersey, in 1946, and transferred to Newark’s WNJR in 1949, his employer at the time of his death on December 7, 1952.

It has the distinction of being the only full-time regional professional orchestra in Canadian history. Conductor Klaro Mizerit led the orchestra from 1968–1977 and conductor Victor Yampolsky led the orchestra from 1977 until the orchestra's demise due to financial problems in 1983. The orchestra made several commercial recordings in the 1970s and was featured on numerous broadcasts on CBC Radio Symphony Nova Scotia rose from it's ashes.

Search | Add | 3 | Caprice Mondor-Halliwell | Caprice Mondor-Halliwell was born in Dakar, Senegal on July 14, 1985, daughter of the French industrialist and mining magnate Gerard Mondor. While born in Dakar, and of French citizenship, she made Harare, Zimbabwe her primary residence at the age of 24 (2009). She is a certified commercial airline pilot, having flown cargo DC-10s for Avient Aviation, later MD-11s AV Cargo of Zimbabwe. At the age of 15, she discovered disco, listening to modern house music broadcast by Radio FG in Paris. She learned to play the piano at the age of 5 and the violin at the age of 7, and combined with her later interest in disco, pursued music production as a side project from her airline duties. She graduated in 2003 from the Lycée EIB Etoile school in Paris, earning her baccalaureate, and went on to La Sorbonne, earning a degree in Political Science, before deciding to follow her passion and joining a flight academy. She joined Avient Aviation in 2009 as a first officer on the DC-10, and later transitioning to the MD-11. She remained passionate about disco and italodisco, and heavily researched the European contributions to the genres. She married fellow Avient pilot Michael Halliwell in 2010, changing her last name to Mondor-Halliwell. She met Martin Zuniga in New York in 2012, a former business associate of her father, and participated with his production efforts starting in 2013, working long-distance from Harare, and occasionally traveling to the United States. She is a founding member of Alpha Sixty, who released their debut album "Dark City" on April 17, 2015.

Search | Add | 3 | The Dae-B-Four | West London mod group active in the mid sixties. Disbanded early 1967. The following info sourced from https://garagehangover.com/daebfour/ Brothers Rex and Brian Brayley had first come to prominence with Tony Liddle & the Lads, a Hounslow band formed in 1962. The band also comprised singer Tony Liddle, bass player Roger Sidey and drummer Yan Kuttlevasher. In mid-1964, Sheffield drummer Kenny Slade replaced Kuttlevasher after playing with Dave Berry & The Cruisers. When Tony Liddle left soon after, the group became The Dae-b-Four. Not long after the name change, the musicians were joined by new lead singer Jimmy Trimmer. Then in early 1965, Bob Carpenter took over from Kenny Slade on drums. Slade joined The Sheffields and later worked with Joe Cocker. Carpenter didn’t stay very long, however, and Bobby Dean from rival Hounslow band, The Stringbeats took over that spring. Dean introduced his friend, singer Iain Pitwell, who took over from Jimmy Trimmer when he departed. However, Dean left in August 1965 to work with another local group, The Valkeries. Malcolm Randall from Rey Anton & The Peppermint Men took his place briefly. The line-up remained steady until November 1965 when John Kerrison came in on drums after playing in Germany with The Horizons. Kerrison had previously been a member of Frankie Reid & The Casuals and The Rocking Eccentrics. Malcolm Randall later reunited with Pitwell in The All Night Workers in October 1967 after working as a freelance drummer and The Missing Links in the interim. The new line up lasted until about August 1966 when Kerrison departed and subsequently joined Mick Liddell & Gli Atomi in Rome, Italy. The band recorded the track “La Mia Inghilterra”, after which Kerrison returned to the UK. By February 1967, Kerrison had linked up with Johnny Kidd’s former band, The Pirates. He then played with Episode Six and The Beachcombers. The Dae-b-Four carried on with another drummer. In March 1967, Rex Brayley struck gold when he joined The Love Affair. Iain Pitwell meanwhile reunited with Malcolm Randall in The All Night Workers in October 1967.

Sgt 6 (aka Mark Henry) - vocals, guitar Rock Bottom (aka Dan Henry) - drums Subarton (aka Chris Subarton) - bass "The Dummies moved to NYC in 1996, shortly after recording their full length debut on Get Hip. Months later, the band decided they hated the way their ambitiously recorded album ended up being produced. They then got lean, mean, yet remained unclean, aiming for a heavier sound. Sgt 6 took over all guitar duties, while Subarton hopped over to bass. As a three piece, the band changed their name to the Sgt 6 Assault to drop the sloppy garage moniker/stigma. The band create the sound of true drug-addled, hate-inspired, precision punk rock in the form of one minute tunes... the sound that began echoing within the minds of these once-rural-now-urban transplantees. They first released a 5 song 7" EP through their own label, 007 Records; uncorked the second as a limited issue, one-sided jukebox single; then cut a tune for Philadelphia’s Carbon 14 Magazine. For their fourth release, the Assault recorded 2 cuts just prior to their collapse. Originally intended for Bag of Hammers Records, this never came to fruition; the 7" was released years later on Rapid Pulse Records".

The Fireworks Factory were formed from the ashes of Ambition in Glass, who in 1982 release a 12" single on Rough Trade Records, tracks included When Allison When & And It Rains, produced by Colin Richardson (The Chameleons). The Firework's had a broad range of influences from The Cure, The Cult, The Sisters, The Mission to Echo and The Bunnymen who many would say sounded alike. The Firework's released five Demo tapes, toured all over Europe and supported many big name bands of its time. like "The Thomson Twins.", " Everything but the Girl", "Aztec Camera", Blue in Heaven", "Light a Big Fire" to name a few. The band enjoyed much Radio Airplay in Ireland on Capital Radio and RTE's Dave Fanning show. In 1986 The band recorded a Three track Demo "Under Glass" which was produced by Paul Thomas (Engineer on U2's Boy Album) and Jacknife Lee (who now produces REM and U2). In 1987 the band nearly signed to EMI Records, but after some early recordings with EMI in London, nothing was released and no deal was signed, the band split up in early 1988 and left some wonderful music behind them, but now where back "Alive N' Kicking".

Search | Add | 3 | The International Blues Duo | The International Blues Duo was founded in 1982 on Chicago’s North Side when Gary Wiggins moved to Chicago from Detroit and Christian Rannenberg just arrived in Chicago from Germany. After a jam session at the Kingston Mines Club the two realized that together they had an interesting energy and sound. They decided to create The International Blues Duo and immediately started working the north side blues clubs such as B.L.U.E.S., Kingston Mines, Lillies, as well as performing with Lefty Dizz, Sunnyland Slim, Johnny Littlejohn, Sam Myers and many others on the Chicago blues scene. After one year of living and playing in Chicago, Gary and Chris joined the Lefty Dizz Band for a 21 day tour of the Scandinavian countries. Once they were on the European continent, they agreed to relocate to Germany, where they became an immediate sensation. From 1983 to 1990 they toured and played blues festivals, blues clubs, did radio and television shows. They recorded three LPs and invited many musicians to tour Europe with them such as Johnny Heartsman, Johnny Copeland, King George, Charlie Musselwhite, Angela Brown, Jeanny Carroll and Big Jay McNeely.
