Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Caroline Fassie | Caroline also had a stint on one of South Africa's earliest talent shows, Shell Road To Fame. Yeah we just took it way back there. Besides her presenting, Caroline was also known for her long braids that covered one side of her face. We vividly remember a rumour that claimed that Caroline covered her one side because she only had one ear. Hilarious! After her Selimathunzi stint it seemed like Caroline Fassie disappeared from the entertainment industry for good, it was later on revealed that she worked at the SABC’s music department for a while. Caroline Fassie was also the niece of the late Brenda Fassie. It was always a treat to see how well they both gelled on TV whenever Brenda Fassie appeared on Selimathunzi. Apparently, Caroline Fassie also dabbled in music back in the 80s. One of her famous singles was called Tough Enough. Here's the vinyl cover below. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Charlie Vander Meer | Children’s Bible Hour began broadcasting in November 1942. About a year later, when he was nine years old, Charlie was picked out of a studio audience by then host, “Uncle Mel Johnson” to participate in a live broadcast of Children's Bible Hour. From there he went on to a regular spot in the program, reading from “Charlie’s Scrapbook,” reciting poems, helping in the dramatized stories, and often serving as “junior emcee.” At 17, Charlie left the program for four years of college study, graduating in 1956 with a major in radio and television production. Immediately he joined the staff of Children’s Bible Hour and in 1959 was named Assistant Director. He worked closely with “Aunt Bertha” Shooks until her retirement in 1972, when he assumed the directorship of the ministry and host of the radio programs. Known as “Uncle Charlie” to boys and girls around the world, he is part of a ministry that is currently aired on 1000 broadcast outlets, translators and satellators in all 50 states and in many foreign countries. In March 1999, Charlie stepped down as Executive Director and is now serving in the capacity of Ambassador-at-large. He continues as the voice for the daily “Keys for Kids” 4 ½ minute six-day-a-week program, and the daily/weekly program called “Storytime,” as well as re-runs of the classic Children’s Bible Hour broadcasts. Each of these three programs are heard on more than 200 radio outlets. Charlie serves on the Board of Directors of the Arizona-based Family Life Communications, and as a Board member of Christ for the Philippines, a radio ministry headquartered in Iloilo City, Philippines. Charlie and his wife Bette have three grown children and eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Tòfol Martínez | Born in Sabadell, in 1979, in a family with no direct links to music. At the age of seven, a piano enters his house, with which he plays and learns to play. He started studying classical guitar at nine, discovered the blues from Stevie Ray Vaughan, and began a period of obsessive study around the idea of living from music. At the age of fifteen he began teaching at Creu Alta de Sabadell, the same school where he studied classical music, while delving into the mastery of the guitar, which he combines with other studies: arrangements for big band, combo, sound technician ... and business management in the music industry. In 1998, at the age of nineteen, he undertook studies of modern music and jazz at the Aula de Jazz de Barcelona, as well as at the Music Workshop in the same city; also with private teachers such as: Tato Latorre, Jordi Bonell, and Adam Levy (Norah Jones). In 2003 he joined the Antonio Orozco team as guitarist and chorus girl, and toured with him on the album “Devuélveme la vida”. The previous year he had already established his own recording studio - nowadays “TMStudio” -, with which he produces albums like “When dreams are wrong” (2005) by Rojas. In 2011 he released his first blues album "Hallelujah", with which he was reunited with his sweet moment with music after a small crisis with the commercial world. Next will come "1979" (2014) and "No Panic!" (2017). Since 2006 he lives in Tossa de Mar (Costa Brava). | |
