Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Frozen Silk | Band info (Info state 11|2020) FROZEN SILK - that's hot and powerful power rock from Bremerhaven, which is its personal genre defined in a thrilling mixture of catchy pop elements and grooving heavy hard rock! This impressive stylistic variety is supported by the characteristic voice of the front woman Sharon Wynne, who captures the full range of deep emotions with her expressive singing, from pure energy and willpower to deep melancholic abysses, brought to life. Biography: FROZEN SILK was founded in 1997 under the name "SILK" in Bremerhaven and was able to convince its audience and critics with numerous performances in its debut year. After the band won the renowned "Live in Bremen" music contest in 1999, they presented their highly acclaimed debut album "Power" the very next year, which was released under the now extended band name "SILK 99" on the Superrock-Records label and subsequently pre- sented live on a nationwide promotion tour. After more than 100 equally successful and ex- hausting performances, the band members decided in 2006 to go their separate ways and pursue their own projects. Fortunately, this decision was already revised in 2011, so that a new chapter of the band was opened under the name FROZEN SILK with only slightly changed original line-up. Since 2011 FROZEN SILK has been a constant guest on regional and nationwide stages and has made a more than good name for itself as a rousing live act. The band not forgets to transmit their musical power to the audience again and again, but also to demonstrate their qualities to critics, editors and presenters. Since 2018, the four musicians of FROZEN SILK have also been retreating into the studio again and again to work on material for a new album in parallel to their live activities. The re- lease of "Back to life" is scheduled for spring 2021. Line-Up: vocals - guitar - bass - drums - Sharon Wynne Normel Müdeking Rolf Lange Christian Schmutzer Highlights so far since 2011: - Deichbrand open air festival in 2017 - Final Emergenza music contest (Hamburg/Markthalle) in 2016 - Support Stahlzeit (Maerzfeld) in 2015 - Shows in the London YouTube-Studios and at Alley Cat (London) in 2014 The stage has been shared so far with a.o.: Kleinstadthelden, Stahlzeit (Maerzfeld), Terrorgruppe, Hurricane Dean, Anchors & Hearts, She ́s got Balls, Faak Marvin, Rauschenberger u.v.m. Search | Add | 3 | Jason Lee Ward | Jason Lee Ward is a London-based DJ/Producer, born in Islington, North London. Jason spent his childhood surrounded by 70s Jazz Funk, Soul and Disco Music. His interest in music led to Jason spending the 90s scanning through London’s legendary pirate radio stations and inevitably discovering and becoming captivated by classic house and US garage. In spite of that, his passion for music flourished and he decided to refocus his prospects into carving a career in music. From 2009, Jason became a regular DJ on the London underground house scene and successfully built a solid reputation with party-goers and fellow DJs alike. However, in 2013 Jason decided to take a step back from life as a DJ to develop his understanding and skills as a music producer. Jason achieved his first professional qualification in 2015 after graduating from Islington Music Workshop with a Higher National Diploma in Music Technology. To date, Jason has released music on labels such as, Madhouse Records, i! Records, Salted Music, Purple Music and Solid Ground Recordings.

Search | Add | 3 | Alex Schenk | Alexander Schenk | This producer has a long musical history. Since 1993 he has been on music and has many different styles of music through. Whether punk or rap, with his former colleagues M. Aurich and A. Lehmann produced, including drum and bass or Psytrance with Alex Sill under the pseudonym Psypunkz were no problem for him and only a logical development and discovery of music. These influences can be found at its current productions and guess deep down in the history of the producer. Since a few years, you can also listen live to the sound and enjoy the night. We look forward to welcome the interesting musician for Coexistence-Recordings. booking: booking@damm-records.com |

Search | Add | 3 | InChanto | The InChanto's musical experience is therefore inspired by the presence of a particular land; and if the Tuscan musicians propose this journey, they well know that going along these areas means discovering a part of the soul that men little by little have left to things. Once more, there is the attempt of recovering literary and musical traditions from different times and cultures, from the Latin and Mediterranean to the Celtic, that in Tuscany have met during centuries: the one of InChanto would like to be the model journey of people recognizing in his own land the land of everybody. InChanto was born in the summer of 1993 with the intention of proposing a fusion between ancient and electronic sounds and instruments. Afterwards, feeling the need to go back to acoustic and essential resonances, the group introduces historical instruments as the hurdy-gurdy, the baroque flute, the dulcimer and the bodhràn, that have reduced the importance of electronic. In this context, very important are the recent lyrics in fifth and sixth century Italian, in Latin and French.

Search | Add | 3 | Ex-Colorado | excolorado is the name under which the Argentinian musician and producer José María D'Agostino, better known as Peta, releases his first solo project after having been an important protagonist of the Argentine independent music of the last decades, either with his band Go-Neko! or through his studio Moloko. Go-Neko! was one of the pioneers of the national indie-Krautrock scene. The band released two albums with the local label Laptra: "Una Especie de Mutante" (2008) and "Los Malos de Verdad" (2010) and played in the most important Buenos Aires venues and also toured Spain, where they played at the Primavera Sound Festival in 2013. Under his production, some of the most important albums of the Argentine Indie genre were recorded at his studio Moloko, such as "Creo que te amo" by 107 Faunos and the debuts albums of Bestia Bebé and Las Ligas Menores. He worked with some of the emblematic figures such as El Mató a un Policía Motorizado and Rosario Bléfari. excolorado's debut was in 2017 with the album "Siete Mares", where Peta was in charge of recording and playing all the instruments. In it, he takes us on a journey building songs through repetitive sounds and layers of melodies going from the pulse of Krautrock to the most contemplative dream pop. In 2018, he released the single "La fiesta de los que alardean", where he consolidated his sound supported by new musicians. In 2019 he released a new single called "Dreamykraut". The title of the single is a term he coined as a denomination of his own musical ethos, reaffirming his love for vintage sounds and textures. In February 2022 his second album ¨Lo Bueno del Tiempo y las Decisiones¨ finally comes out, which is released in Argentina in Cassette format by Discos Laptra and Hallo Discos. Search | Add | 3 | The Mighty Magic Pants | Launched in the summer of 2012, the Mighty Magic Pants is a fully interactive music group for children. As both educators and parents, each of the five group members believes that families deserve shared experiences to be enjoyed together. They call it “the mighty magic experience.” That’s what led to the creation—and debut—of a fresh musical ensemble that combines harmonies, poetry, humor, and optimism meant to entertain and delight families. [a=Mike Mennard (2)], an award-winning recording artist and veteran to the children's market, launched the group, drawing on his own experience. He has released six children's albums since 2004 and has traveled across the country.

Search | Add | 3 | The Radio Active Stars | Japanese punk band formed in 1998 by Toshihiko Arima, Kazushi (The Trash, ex-The Clay & Chudoku), and Hiko (Gauze). Initially called 葉隠, changed to The Radio Active Stars in 1999. Broke up in 2003, got back together with a new lineup in 2008. The band has gone through numerous lineup changes throughout its history. In their early days they played a lot of hardcore punk shows at Antiknock etc and their original band sound was speedy punk/hardcore, while it leans toward more melodic punk rock after 2008. No longer active.
Search | Add | 3 | Nasmak P. M. | PM or P.M. stands for PlusMinus (see below) but also for Past Moves, and Perpetuum Mobile. Originally active from 1978 to 1984 as [a68040]. All members, including De Groot, have since worked together in partial formations. As a collective they created Nasmak PM (PlusMinus) in 2018. PM mainly stands for PlusMinus, to indicate that the line-up is variable and it is not just about the old Nasmak: members have left, or are sometimes unavailable, and there is also a desire to be able to work with guests. Nasmak PM started 40 years after the founding of Nasmak by Joop, Henk and Toon. PM1 Perpetuum Moblie: “[m=3384664]” (2023) is the first album of this renewed collaboration. It is called Perpetuum Mobile, because the 9 tracks on it are related to material from the early Nasmak days.
