Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

In January 1993 they recorded their debut demo "Killed by Fear!!", and released it in a single run of 50 copies. In August of 1993 they recorded their follow up, "Splintered Faith", which was finished and even had completed artwork. They also produced two small runs of BraneStem T-shirts, one with the "Killed by Fear!!" artwork and one with he "Splintered Faith" artwork. However the "Splintered Faith" demo would never actually get released and Chris Alexander leaving for college in November 1993 caused the band to split up that same month. Josh Walter went on to front Diskord in May 1995 and release their only demo later that year. Josh left the band in January of 1996 and Chris Alexander joined Diskord on bass and vocals until their breakup in April of the same year. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Totalitarian Musical Sect | The most interesting project of a new wave of modern St. Petersburg's musical scene. Describing the style of this collective's music is extremely complex. Musicians call it «a new Russian primitivism ». Music includes the features of rock, jazz and improvising music. The most influential names are German krautrock band CAN, ART ENSEMBLE OF CHICAGO and SUN RA. The group is a derivate from « Z ensemble », in which many Petersburg's musicians have played. Despite of a rather long history their first official release was only in 2002 by the company "HOR records". TMS is the constant participant of festivals of avant-garde art. The leader of the TMS, Dmitriy Kahovskiy, has played with all considerable musicians in St. Petersburg. At the festival SKIF-6 he performed in a duet with the legendary American guitar player Eugene Chadbourne, on SKIF-7 he played with unique Dutch drummer Han Bennink. Music by Kahovskiy and TMS will be used in some cinematographic projects («It is difficult to be God», А.German). Musicians of TMS also played in many other projects: Vitaliy Kucherov in Union of Commercial Avantgarde & Nado Podumat'; Alexey Stavizkiy in solo-project "Musicproduct"; Ilia Belorukov in DaDaZu & Miro; Maxim Pozin in DaDaZu & Bimka. Dmitriy Kakhovskiy - bass and objects Vitaliy Kucherov - guitar and objects Alexey Stavizkiy - trombone and clarinet and flutes and objects Ilia Belorukov - alto and baritone saxophones Max Pozin - alto and prepared alto sax and clarinet and flutes and objects | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Zangers Van Sint Frans, Venray | Zangers van St. Frans | It was in 1959 that an originally Hague teacher (Mr. Wim Buys) was approached by a also Hague priest. The priest had recently come to Venray (NL) and soon discovered that the Paterskerk had no choir. Wim Buys was asked to settle in Venray to set up a boys' choir. He did not hesitate for a moment; the Singers of St. Frans, named after the Venrayse Franciscan Fathers, was born. The Paterskerk would become their home base. In the past sixties, the choir has seen many highlights: concert tours through Europe (including Rome, Krakow, Berlin, Moscow and Barcelona) and the U.S. The choir joined the international federation Pueri Cantores, where mr. Wim Buys has been international president for quite some time. From a boys 'choir that celebrated Mass in the Paterskerk, the choir grew into a successful men's and boys' choir (for some years even a mixed choir) that received concert invitations from inside and outside Europe. Moreover, the choir has been the start of a musical career and / or study at the conservatory for a number of singers. At the moment the choir consists of about 40 members, varying in age from 7 to 38 years. Unfortunately, Wim Buys will no longer be celebrating the 60th anniversary. After his death, co-conductor Vincent Las from Oss took over the baton and the gavel was handed over to Jos Valks. At present (2020) the choir consists of about 30 members, ranging in age from 8 to 44 years old. The musical direction is in the hands of conductor Geert Verhallen. All members also receive vocal training every Tuesday from vocal teacher Janine Heuts. |

Mit seiner Debütsingle "Wolken" gelangte Memo683 auf Anhieb eine große Hörerschaft zu erreichen und landete unter anderem in einigen großen Playlisten bei dem Streamingdienst Spotify. Später erschienen dann weitere Singles wie "Over the Top", "San Andreas" oder "Gangsta's Paradise". |

| Search | Add | 3 | I Hail Taxis | Stephen Hill | Stephen Hill began recording cassettes of his own songs under the name I Hail Taxis from about 1994. He recorded about a dozen of these, many of them sadly lost, before I joined him on his "Purple Trousers" tape in 1997. By the end of 1998 we had released 3 more tapes, an EP, had grown to a 5-piece band, performed one shambolic gig, appeared on TV (on Channel 4's Under the Moon performing "Tartan Army", IHT's alternative song for Scotland's World Cup team), changed the name to "The Sluice Room Review" and split up. Steve had no musical influences and wrote songs purely for his own amusement. His audience was me and a few other friends to whom he'd hand out his self-dubbed tapes on his own Bring! Records. Later tapes were released on cassette-only labels Bacchanalian Revel and Low Voltage, and the "Subscribe!" EP on the even more obscure Umbababayee. But I don't believe they sold well, even by cassette label standards. Unencumbered by ambition, musical training or an audience, Steve was free to sing whatever was on his mind. And going by the songs, what was on his mind was: day time television, science fiction, UFOs (this was an era when crop circles were seriously debated), archaeology, the OJ Simpson trial, Scotland, surreal humour (how else to categorise "Rod Stewart and Emu"?) and, of course, girls. Steve was never very comfortable when the band started to grow or we talked of gigging or self-promotion. He was happiest scribbling his silly songs in his notebook and recording them in one take in his living room. Towards the end of '98 he disappeared and the band was no more. I heard a rumour that he'd moved abroad but I never got confirmation of this, and neither I nor any of our mutual friends have heard from him since. Wherever he is, at least we still have his music. The world of I Hail Taxis is one many will recognise; that of a twice-daily Neighbours watcher and dreamer who refuses to grow up. So put on your purple trousers, get the Etch-a-Sketch from the car, and get ready to do the freezing cold jig whilst listening to the World of I Hail Taxis! From the website. |

From an early age he started singing like soloist, performing covers of famous songs and participating in several singing competitions, getting awards and public acceptance. In 2023 she participated to the television talent The Voice Kids - Italian Edition conducted by Antonella Clerici on RAI 1 (main Italian national broadcasting TV channel), joining the Ricchi e Poveri team and performing live with the song "The Show Must Go On” by Queen, and with the acronym of “Circle Of Life” from King Lion original music soundtrack. Riding the wave of fame achieved in the national arena thanks to the famous talent show, she won singing competitions and has participating radio television interviews and shows. Ginevra's interpreter role is somewhat restricted, however. She begins the study of guitar and piano with which she learns to accompany himself. She also has an interest in writing, so following the example of her favorite songwriters, she naturally develops a desire to write songs and compose music to express feelings and dreams. In the spring of 2024 with the support of Martina Micaglio (her singing teacher), musician Riccardo Sadè and producer Cristiano Zatta aka Imaginatic for the label ImageSonika, Ginevra Dabalà begins a career as singer-songwriter in an artistic project where she can develop and express her talents with awareness and creative freedom. “Attraverso un foglio” is the first single published with the role of singer-songwriter, which officially presents her to the public and the many fans who follow her on social media. |
