Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Al Gilliom | Al Gilliom | Al Gilliom’s music will peel back your defenses and hit your soul. His music melds a multitude of genres, including (but not limited to!): classical (Chopin), rock (Nirvana), and contemporary (The Piano Guys). Throwback to Al’s younger years: beginning life at just 1lb 11oz, the doctors played classical music into his isolette. Born into a world bursting with classical music, the spark never left. He would sit mesmerized, watching his grandmother’s hands dance across the piano keys. The piano awakened something inside of him— this language allowed him to take his life experiences and translate them into a universal medium - sound. In the face of adversity, music brings hope into his life. Through teaching and sharing his compositions, he continually discovers the ability to ignite this feeling in others. Al’s dream is to share his life stories with you through his vulnerable music. 2 years ago, Al released an improvisatory solo piano album, 'A Place Of Peace'. As Al’s grown and changed as a person and a musician, and the stories that have burst forth from his fingers into original compositions that are unlike any he’s recorded before. Al’s excited to offer a deeper glimpse into his world on his upcoming album, ‘The Light In Dark Spaces’. Introverted to the core, Al is the definition of a wallflower. (Well, let’s be honest. You won’t find him at a party. He’d rather be at home practicing the piano, drinking a cup of tea (or homemade hard cider) or reading a book.) In addition to making music, Al enjoys tending to his small homestead farm (with goats and chickens), cooking delicious meals, trying not to kill his houseplants, and reading paperback books. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Thee|22|SekkT | It has been said that the human brain takes 7 seconds to register a particular sound. This might be true. But to register a sound doesn't really mean anything. One has to remember, appreciate, and properly listen to a sound. To listen is not the same as to hear. Think about it. Thee|22|SekkT has put the 7 seconds "rule" to the test and found that it doesn't work. 22 seconds are needed to truly listen and appreciate a sound. It takes a bit of time to register what your ears are hearing. It needs to be processed properly. With this knowledge, Thee|22|SekkT was born. And it will be of no surprise that all the sounds are exactly 22 seconds long. Thee|22|SekkT's method of working is elegant in its simplicity. A track is recorded and then subtly changed in pitch, tone, what have you, thus creating a tiny symphony of constantly repeating yet slowly evolving sounds. Because of this, headphones are advised, as some parts of the symphonies might become nearly inaudible when listening to them on a regular stereo system. This project has a distinct single goal: to make the listener appreciate 22 second snippets of sounds, any sounds. Be it drone, ambient, noise, trance or whatever. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Episode Earth | Episode Earth is an alternative rock band from Cranbury, New Jersey that was started in 2004 by former "The Lesser Known Saints" members Jake Kiesler on drums and Dan Christel on guitar and vocals. This originally began as a side project that was an experiment in musical progression and meaningful lyrics with a broad diverse sound. The band then took shape when former "Radio Radio" and "Weekend Euphoria" frontman Mark Orlowski was recruited for lead vocals. Mark's ranging vocals and versatile styling took the band in a new direction and defined their emerging Post-Hardcore sound. Over the next two years the band experienced changes in sound and lineup. The additions of Mike Tindall on bass and Frank Petrino on lead guitar brought the character, and inspiration needed to balance the band and write new iconic rock music. Episode Earth's blend of strong rock driven rhythms, melodic etherial tones, powerful vocals and deep lyrics have etched their place in the music scene. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Tony Nirta | Australian singer-songwriter, musician and producer. Tony Nirta (1957-2018) was the sixth of seven children; he and several siblings developed muscular dystrophy although he was less affected than the other siblings and was able to drive for a time. He was given a guitar by his Calabrian family in his first year of high school. One day, he dragged this guitar to school and plugged it in to test the sound, to play to himself, unaware that he'd plugged into the whole school PA system and become infamous. Tony wrote in earnest and recorded from 1979. In 1984 he met Kate Chinnick (later Watson) and Paul Koszyca in Adelaide, South Australia. The resulting band was named Mudmen and they wrote prolifically and performed a few gigs. Paul left the band a year or so later, while Tony and Kate kept writing and recording. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Alcormusic | 2008. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Steve Angstrom | In 1988 Steve Angstrom founded TimeShard, noted innovators in the UK electronic dance underground during the ‘second summer of love’ in 1989. They became one of the UK’s first live ‘acid house’ acts, and during this time they developed a sound which blended what we now call Psychedelic Trance and Ambient Dub. At the time they described their sound as “Shamanic Trance” a name derived from their interest in using the music, and the trance in a more directed and “magical” way than their more mainstream peers. Timeshard’s music found success UK’s free-festival circuit, which was in a period of transition and fusion as acid house fans found a place to dance without restriction, outside mainstream club culture. Steve and TimeShard built a devoted following among the mixture of punks and Acid House followers which flocked to Britain’s free festivals fields during this period. Gradually, their live show expanded outwards and across Europe, while their sound gained elements of ethno-techno, trance and dub. Timeshard also gained attention for their self-released, cassette-only albums, Who Pilots the Flying Saucers in 1991 and Hyperborean Dome Temples of Apollo the following year. In 1994, Planet Dog signed the group and released Crystal Oscillations and the trio’s second full album, Hunab Ku, appeared in 1996. Touring and performing constantly from 1989 to 2001 Steve moved away from live performance, but now is back after digging through his vaults and discovering hidden treasures, his unreleased works which were recorded in snatched moments but never released. Recovered Artefacts ’93 – 97, soon on Sleepers Records. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Crackerjack System | The ‘system’ was born in the summer of ‘98 when four friends came together as the group now simply calls itself Crackerjack System. The original members - Ian Minton, Matt Traynor, Simon and Josh Bader – began their musical crusade as a cover band practicing in the Baders’ basement. As the summer proceeded, the band (then known as ‘Fat Pinch’) started to flourish and create their own material. They showcased at a few clubs around downtown Toronto in order to develop a following. As the summer came to an end and they started to expand, Matt parted from the band on good terms to pursue other musical endeavors while the three remaining members met up with new bassist, Scooter. By late ‘98, ‘Fat Pinch’ became Crackerjack System and dream turned into reality. Scooter helped write and record their first demo entitled ‘Sixty-Nine Degrees,’ and booked as many shows as possible. The main goal was to get their name out and become known throughout the city’s indie scene. The Thornhill four-piece was prompted to go back into the studio and lay down some new tracks as well as put up a website to attract listeners from all areas of the world. The band teamed up with PeopleSound.com in the UK to market ‘Sixty-Nine Degrees’ and CJS was worldwide. With help from students studying at The Trebas Recording Institute in Toronto, ‘Eight Hours’ was recorded in hope to make a second CD release through our British distributors. Unfortunately, Scooter left the band because of creative differences and the group was left to find another bassist yet again. The new CD was shelved and Crackerjack System went on a short hiatus. | |

Boom Comics began as an outlet for many graphic artists in Toronto’s hip hop scene to do more than just flyers. Themes ranged from racism, stereotyping and overpolicing and the comic also included album reviews of local artists, charts and advertisements. Issues also included record reviews and sometimes included mixtapes with new local music. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Fugato (2) | They have a reggae/funk sound with an occasional rock bass line and psychedelic guitar, and Steele’s girlfriend Tamara Gough sometimes guest vocals with her big diva voice. When playing Steele is always bare foot, Holmes bites his bottom lip and Stevenson’s cheeks get red on his straight face. Holmes and MacDonald have played together before the in bands Port Citizen and Supercar. Steele says he and Stevenson were fans of Port Citizen and Supercar as teenagers. “They were up and kickin’, and listening to music before we were born,” he jokes. “These guys are young pups, I’m an old fart,” 29-year-old Holmes said of Steele, 22, and Stevenson, 23. Steele and Stevenson played in the band Tumbleweed, and MacDougall played for the bands Eyes For Telescopes and The Tuesdays. MacDougall joined the group in August, although he is not on the CD and could not make it to the release due to family commitments. Holmes says MacDougall is an excellent percussionist and brings a new aspect to the band’s sound. “I bought my first set of drums off of Mike.” The band doesn’t really have any creative differences when writing music, says Holmes. “It all comes from Mark in the get-go and then we mold it.” Steele says the credit is not all his own. “I don’t come up with the drum beats,” he said. “Damn right you don’t,” laughs Holmes. The band’s name came about by chance. They were discussing names when Steele said something and Holmes asked, “Did you say Fugato?” “And I said, ‘Fugato what the hell,’” said Steele. Other names discussed for the band were Black Lung Boutique, and Hot Buttered Elvis. “I was pushing Hot Buttered Elvis pretty hard,” said Steele. | |
