Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Despite the Blindness | Self-described as “…progressive…” & “…a mix of beauty and aggression…” Despite the Blindness is no doubt ambitious in what they seek. At times heavy and others soft and subtle, the band insists the music exists only to enhance the lyrics, which are filled with imagery that can be both heart wrenching and horrifying. This philosophy is akin to a singer/songwriter approach, a comparison Despite the Blindness encourages. “Absolutely. The story is the most important part. The lyrics, the poetry, the story shouldn’t exist to fill holes in the music. The music should enhance the story. It’s the story that needs to be told, not the other way around…” James Seabrook (Guitar) - Leo Gonzalez (Drums) - Troy Nowaselski (Bass)

Search | Add | 2 | Dr. Aur Billa | Jawad Bashir | Dr. Aur Billa, in their own words are “the alternative, in-your-face Pakistani pop band”. They first surfaced in 1994 with “No Love”, which immediately gained popularity due to it’s eccentric and funny lyrics and video. Their wacky sense of humor is evident from the fact that they named their very first album “Dr. Aur Billa - The Greatest Hits” and their second album “Dr. Aur Billa - Very Very Best Of”. |

She was seen for seven seasons every Saturday night on the Statler Brothers show. Search | Add | 2 | David Stuart Bowers | Musician from northern California, USA. Active from the 1990s on. David Stuart Bowers was raised in remote agricultural isolation in central Washington state, after moving with his heritic mother from northern California. Upon being introduced to the sounds of what would become "Indie Rock," by his sister, Jan Kerouac, he picked up a guitar and explored everything from industrial music to free jazz, all the while maintaining the lyrical twang of redneck roots. He wrote songs of love, loss and farming. Moving to Bend, Oregon, he landed opening slots for Art Garfunkel, Ramblin' Jack Elliott and Arlo Guthrie. With his band, the Colony, he toured the PNW and opened for the Devil Makes Three and Hillstomp. Life was face paced and filled with broken guitar strings and empty bottles of Tequila. In 2011, David returned to the rolling hills of vineyards in northern CA, where he lives with his family and resophonic guitar. When not exploring the mysteries of music he works as an agricultural biologist.

Léonard Gogniat began his career with a degree in primary education from the HEP and worked in the teaching field for several years. In the summer of 2007, he spent some time playing guitar in Volonne, near Marseille, where he met his future wife, [a5441678], herself playing accordion on the terrace of a café. The following year, the two amateur musicians began working together for six months in Paris. In 2009, they settled in Delémont and founded the musical group [a3776221]. The duo soon enjoyed a series of remarkable successes, including a second-place finish in the final competition to represent Switzerland at Eurovision 2013. Léonard Gogniat immediately gave up his teaching career to devote himself entirely to music. As part of the group [a3776221], he has co-written several albums and regularly takes part in major music festivals in Switzerland and abroad.
