Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025

Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 RYFN Ramón Piquero y Carlos Santos This duo, Ramón Piquero and Carlos Santos, settled in Bcn and of northern origin, gave their first steps with styles such as pop, post rock and grunge. Now, a few years gone by, they explore different aspects of the electronic music: IDM, techno, electro and certain pop overtones that appear in the shape of very impeccable voices. These are some of the ingredients RYFN cooks with. They use electronic music under the pretext of expressing their emotional reality and generating expression in others, trying to induce to certain mental conditions near to the restlessness. In their journey, of approximately five years, the creations follow in studio, especially collaborations with the Delete Records label (Deletination 2011), the Edukando group (live session 2010), Nereida Prod as well as live performances in different concert halls, clubs and festivals, especially Sala Apolo (Bcn), Niu (Bcn), Miscelanea (Bcn), Cool (Gijón), Almazen (Bcn), Festival Almay (Valencia), Zentraus (Bcn), CasinoClub, (León), La Fundicio (Bcn), La Nau Ivanov (Bcn), La Cova de les Cultures (Bcn). The evolution of the sound in their sets, ends in a constant dialog between them and their audience. In their live sessions, they complement each other in a succession of loops, beats, electrical synths and carefully worked vocal melodies, creating dreamy atmospheres and filling the room with commotion, which does not imply the possibility of stopping shaking your head.

Search Add 2 Golden Valley Crusaders A North Carolina Based Bluegrass Gospel Band, The Golden Valley Crusaders were established in 1970 by Butch Cook and his brothers & sisters. The group has traveled thousands of miles over the past 47 years and performed in several states. Butch Cook, founding member of the Golden Valley Crusaders, began performing to help his father, Reverend Ottis Cook, when he preached at brush arbor meetings and in churches. He grew up listening to his father's old-fashioned preaching. Butch and his sister, Martha, started the Golden Valley Crusaders in 1970 as a family band, and it has been almost exclusively a family band for decades. Other members of the family included: Clint Houser, Martha's son, on banjo; Gary Heavner, Butch's son-in-law, on bass; David Heavner, Gary's son, on mandolin. In the 1990s, Butch, Martha, and their other siblings opened a music park in honor of their father: the Ottis Cook Memorial Gospel Music Park. There they hosted three outdoor singings every year, and the Golden Valley Crusaders performed along with other groups. Search Add 2 Lost Soul Project Genre: Black Metal, Heavy Metal, Thrash Lost Soul Project was formed in the summer of 2000, by 4 Lost Souls from "CowTown" Newark OHIO with one thing in mind, to write and perform music that is heavy, and straight from the soul. From the brutal hardcore, sometimes melodic vocals of Jonesy, to the heavy complex distorted guitar riffs of Butch, to the ground rumbling tempo of Jay's fat bass. All the way down to the high energy metal groove that is Jeff beating the hell out of his drums. Influences include: Pantera, Machine Head, Slipknot, Meshuggah, HateBreed, and many more. They set themselves apart from other bands in the metal genre by their dedication and strong friend/ family bond (Jeff and Jay are brothers). This is Lost Soul Project. Take it or Leave it.

Search Add 2 Fedro At a very young age FEDRO makes his debut in the entertainment business, for him, the theater, music and singing is his passion – his life. Graduated from El Centro Cultural Virginia Fabregas, he initiated his career at the children’s theater under the direction of Leopoldo Basurto, these plays eventually nominated him as Best Actor at the Miguel Sabido Festival. Thereafter he joins Boss Productions where he participates in plays like: “Que Planton”, Vaselina (Grease) and Godspell, with renown actors like Angelica Vale and Sergio Catalan. Thanks to his great work and talent, Angelica Vale invites him to participate in the production of “Cenicienta, una Historia de Amor” (Cinderella, a Love Story) in which FEDRO plays Lucifer. But one of his major achievements was about to take place after being chosen for the play “RENT”, following a long and strenuous series of auditions. His hard work and charisma is appreciated by the production and he is invited to participate in Jesucristo Superestrella (Jesus Christ Superstar) working next to Lolita Cortez and Erick Rubin. Then to close off his phase as an actor, he participates in “REGINA” where he acts next to superstar Lucero. From this moment, FEDRO makes one of the most important decisions of his life: to dedicate himself to music, accepting an invitation from Amparo Rubin to be a part of her workshop. A while after, he meets producer Memo Mendez Guiu who incorporates him into one of his groups called “Quattro”, which he stays with for more than 2 years and tours nationally for the first time opening for the singer Benny Ibarra. His great talent and professionalism has taken him to work as a chorus member for Mexican superstars such as, Gloria Trevi, Alejandra Guzman, Ninel Conde and Aleida Nunez among others. He also records jingles and is one of the official voices of Coca- Cola under Director Jorge D’ Alessandro. In the summer of 2009 he is chosen to participate in UNIVISION’s reality show “Viva El Sueño” (Live The Dream) where he is noticed for his originality and talent. The show is aired in September of 2009 and FEDRO is immediately the public’s favorite. He makes it to the finals and is third, a great accomplishment for this young singer who now initiates a new stage in his career with the release of his new album BESOS EXCESOS On March 2nd of 2010 FEDRO presents Besos Excesos, produced by DJ AXL includes songs form Espinosa Paz ( Solo Un Dia ) , Juan Gabriel (Yo No Naci Para Amar ) , and Gloria Trevi ( Agarrate) among others

Search Add 2 Slaughter Of Elysium Old Band Name: Measures Of Mutiny Slaughter of Elysium is a five-piece progressive death metal band from Bucks County, Pennsylvania (Feasterville-Trevose). The band was formed in 2008 by current lead guitarist Kyle O'Donnell and former drummer Mark Koutsouradis. With a solid line-up, they began writing music and performing at local venues among several other up-and-coming metal acts around the area, but S.o.E. would later depart from each other in June of 2011 due to stylistic differences. In the same year of their break-up, O’Donnell brought in rhythm guitarist John Corry and vocalist Greg Romero to continue writing under the name Slaughter of Elysium. Lucas Dunn would later be added to the line-up as drummer as well as Carlos Soto-Gil on bass. The band’s influences include Death, Mastodon, Cynic, Neurosis, and Periphery, thus building a sound around aspects including fast, sludgy riffs, technical song arrangements, experimentation with effects and cross-genre transitions.

Search Add 2 Demon Machine Vadim H. Demon Machine is an end of 2017 launched Dark Electro-Industrial side project by Vadim H., which has been active since the mid-2000s in several electronic music projects. The focus is on a complex and dark sound design, whose influences are already reflected in current Dark Electro & Electro-Industrial acts. The substantive depth of the project can be found in a mixture of Lovecraft and LaVey and would like to draw on a certain diabolical and thoughtful expression to accentuate certain fonts. In addition, there is a critical examination of current social and world political issues.

Using a tongue-in-cheek approach to music, Rablats exploit many stereotypes of the gothic subculture. The "God Is A Vampire" album was released in 1996. A follow up album entitled "Creature Feature" was announced, but never released. In 2012, "God Is A Vampire" was re-released with four bonus tracks and the original songs remastered.
