Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | קבוצה ריקה | "The name of the band is taken from a line in their song "Shlomi - an empty group": "Because when I look into myself / I see an empty group". The song, by the way, was recorded in its first version in 1987, when Korin Elal sang and played it in her final project at the sound technician school "Sound" by Yoav Gera and was released as part of the students vinyl compilation. after several performances in Jerusalem, recording themselves on tape, which was played a little on Galey Tzahal (IDF Radio), the band went down to a concert in Tel Aviv, to which the record companies were invited. At the end of the first performance in Tel Aviv, representatives of the various record companies were waiting for them at the front of the stage, in order to sign them to a contract. The band chose the company "N.M.C." which guaranteed the most creative freedom. In 1995, the band recorded its debut album, "Empty Group". In 1996, shortly after the release of the album, the band ceased its activities, although it did not announce its disbandment.

Search | Add | 2 | Elbowed-Out | Elbowed-Out were a mixed race group of musicians out of the west coast town of Seattle, Washington, USA. The group’s founding members were lead vocalist Sam Chambliss who also played trumpet. Lead Guitarist Denis Wilcox who also shared lead vocals. Drummer, Clarence Acox, Keyboard player Gaylord Young and a horn section that featured Ray Baldwin, Jabril Radhid and Nick Ceasar. They had all met while studying music at the University of Wasington. Sadly both Gaylord Young and Nick Ceasar are now deceased.(As of 2013) Elbowed-Out became regular performers at local area junior high and high school gigs, their repertoire included cover versions of songs made famous by the Blackbyrds, Crusaders and Herbie Hancock amongst others. They eventually graduated on the Seattle club scene, where they featured as the support act for the likes of James Brown, The O’Jays and Tower Of Power. Elbowed-Out later went out on the road securing touring dates across Canada. A connection was made which led to the band performing in the Pacific islands of Singapore, Indonesia and Japan. Search | Add | 2 | Wolfen Herz | Wolfen Herz is a band born in Rome, Italy from the ashes of Rage Of Pain and Painting Blood. Originally the group was composed of Rocco Faruolo on guitars, Fabio "Anarchybrain" Varrone on bass and vocals, Oleg Chulkov on drums. In 2009 Anarchybrain left the band and Angelo "Lothar" Depalma arrived on bass and vocals. The band changed its name to Painting Blood maintaining the Death Metal style of the previous formation. The band goes on until 2011 when Rocco Faruolo leaves the band for personal reasons. Instead, Anarchybrain returned to the guitars. At that time the band changed its name to Wolfen Herz and released two albums: "Raw Material" written almost entirely by Anarchybrain and Tile Of Conquest composed entirely of songs written by Chulkov and Depalma. In 2016 Anarchybrain leaves the band due to artistic differences. From 2016, the band made a reload with a new guitarist. Later, a second guitarist and Master of Keyboards joined the pack. Now the new line up is composed of: Angelo: Vocals/Bass Emiliano: Lead Guitar Alessandro: Rhythm Guitar Valerio: Keyboards Oleg: Drums

Search | Add | 2 | Steve Angstrom | In 1988 Steve Angstrom founded TimeShard, noted innovators in the UK electronic dance underground during the ‘second summer of love’ in 1989. They became one of the UK’s first live ‘acid house’ acts, and during this time they developed a sound which blended what we now call Psychedelic Trance and Ambient Dub. At the time they described their sound as “Shamanic Trance” a name derived from their interest in using the music, and the trance in a more directed and “magical” way than their more mainstream peers. Timeshard’s music found success UK’s free-festival circuit, which was in a period of transition and fusion as acid house fans found a place to dance without restriction, outside mainstream club culture. Steve and TimeShard built a devoted following among the mixture of punks and Acid House followers which flocked to Britain’s free festivals fields during this period. Gradually, their live show expanded outwards and across Europe, while their sound gained elements of ethno-techno, trance and dub. Timeshard also gained attention for their self-released, cassette-only albums, Who Pilots the Flying Saucers in 1991 and Hyperborean Dome Temples of Apollo the following year. In 1994, Planet Dog signed the group and released Crystal Oscillations and the trio’s second full album, Hunab Ku, appeared in 1996. Touring and performing constantly from 1989 to 2001 Steve moved away from live performance, but now is back after digging through his vaults and discovering hidden treasures, his unreleased works which were recorded in snatched moments but never released. Recovered Artefacts ’93 – 97, soon on Sleepers Records.

Search | Add | 2 | Adesuwa Obaseki | Adesuwa Obaseki-Bullen | Dynamic Soul Jazz RnB vocalist Adesuwa Obaseki was born and raised in Swindon and London. She started to develop her awesome talent for song writing and poetry at the early age of 14 with her mother's encouragement. After studying at the London College of Fashion in 1989, Adesuwa followed in the footsteps of many highly successful artists and completed a two years performing arts course at W.A.C. Weekend Arts and a Dance Foundation course at Kensington and Chelsea College. She also studied singing for three years with top UK session singer [a=Roy Hamilton]. In 1992, she joined an accapella group called Innervision, performing at several major venues such as Hackney Empire, Chats Palace, and many other London clubs. After three years, the group had performed on The Royal Variety Show with such names as Cilla Black, and the London Gospel Choir. Coming from a Christian background, Adesuwa trained and performed with her local gospel Choir, across England and at the London Gospel Awards in 1995. After working four years with Innervision, it was time for her to move on. Adesuwa wanted to work with someone who had the same commitment and inspiration as she did for producing and writing songs. She met the acclaimed bass player [a=Hugh Bullen], who was playing at a popular club with his band The Rain Dogs in June 1996. Hugh invited Adesuwa on stage to sing and after the show, he asked if she would like to join the band which was renamed Phinx. After a year playing the London circuit and performing across England, the band recorded their first album called "Free Your Spirit". The first single from the album also called "Free Your Spirit" and was promoted by Promobeat in 1999. Promo Beat being an independent label did well in the DJ chart returns across England reaching the top ten above world acclaimed artists. A video was filmed for the single and was nominated for an award organised by Macintosh computers in Paris. A television cable company which promotes new talent broadcasted the "Free Your Spirit" video. She was married to [a=Hugh Bullen]. |

Search | Add | 2 | Razorigami | Luke Richard Weber | The main calling card to Razorigami is Luke Richard Weber’s high octane and multifarious vocal abilities. To say that he is one of the up and coming vocal talents in the metal and hard rock world would be an understatement. His strength lies in his ability to mix things up and do everything exceedingly well in the process, beginning with his foundation of the tough as nails mid-ranged but also highlighting the ability to extend for a high note with ease- and bring the heart and soul of Axl Rose (Guns N’ Roses) when need calls for it. Conversely, he can reach low and add some rumbling power along the lines of Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) and Mike Lee (Barren Cross) or even hint of the attitude and sass of Brian Johnson (AC/DC) and Scott Wenzel (Whitecross). The upshot being how he reflects the influences of many to create his own manifold style that can best be described as intense, impassioned and on the gut level side of things. |
