Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Norbie Baker | Norbert J. Piekarski | Norbie Baker was a legend in Milwaukee for years. His real name was Norbert J. Piekarski. He was Polish. (He changed his name to Baker, because in Polish, Picarski means baker) Norbie Baker was admitted to the Wisconsin Polka Hall of Fame in 2007. Norbie Baker, accordionist, band leader a big star in Milwaukee. Many people loved his records and always liked seeing him perform with the band. Everywhere he played, there was audience, they stood in front of the stage in 10 rows to watch him. Norbie was an accordion player since he was 7 years old. By the time he was 15 years old he played in bars and dance halls around Milwaukee. He formed a group called Norbie Baker's Polka Band after graduating from Riverside High School. The seven-member band played seven nights a week, mostly in Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois. He played in bands for the US Army during the Second World War. In 1946 he twins out of service and another polka band started. Norbie made his very first gramophone record in 1950. Norbie Baker's records from before 1953 were released as the "Norbie-Gillie Orchestra" according to the label. Gillie, incidentally, was the tenor banjo player. He is easily recognized in the recordings because he liked to play a bit of string banjo. After Gillie left the band, "Norbie Baker And His Orchestra" became "Norbie Baker And His Polka Boys" and "Norbie Baker And His Music Makers." Gillie did not play with "Gillie's Waltz" a recording from 1953. The band sounded like Yankovic And His Yanks. Frankie was probably even instrumentally present to help Norbie in his Columbia recording contract. Norbie used three Solovoxes on a few recordings such as the Tinker Polka. No other band had ever done that. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Plague the Suffering | Plague the Suffering was created in 2003 by guitarists Barry Dail and Rob Dillard with intentions of complete and total domination of the weak! Later joined by Mike, Michael and Eddie, the endless annihilation began. With the influences of bands like Dissection, Slayer, and Crowbar, Plague the Suffering is a crushing mass of classical death and melodic thrash. The nightmarish harmonies of guitarist Rob Dillard, the hellbound tone of bassist Eddie Johnson, the sonic machine gun sounds of drummer Michael Wagner, and the ghoulish, guttering, growls of vocalist Mike Parks, allows them to destroy and dominate anything in their path of metal rage. EXCERPT FROM ARCHIVED WEBSITE: Plague the Suffering was formed in 2003 by founding members Barry Dail and Rob Dillard. Shortly after the start of the band, Plague was joined by drummer Tom Nelson and bassist Jerry Coleman. In the beginning the vocals were handled by singer Dave Ripley but due to personal reasons he is no longer with the band. The vocals are now being handled by Beaten Back to Pure vocalist Ben Hogg. Ben has recently become a permanent member of the band. Plague welcomes him to the line-up in hopes of conquering many thrones. With the influences of bands like Dissection, Slayer, and Crowbar, Plague the Suffering is a crushing mass of classical death and melodic thrash. The nightmarish harmonies of guitarists Barry and Rob, the hellbound tone of bassist Jerry, the sonic machine gun sounds of drummer Tom, and the ghoulish, guttering, growls of vocalist Ben, allows them to destroy and dominate anything in their path of metal rage. “As the vultures slowly circle” will be released in the fall of 2005. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Cadets Lasalle | Cadets LaSalle Corps de Clairons et Tambours | Cadets LaSalle was a Canadian Junior Drum & Bugle Corps from Ottawa, Ontario. Founded 1963, folded 1973. Born out of the original army cadet program started by the Christian Brothers in 1911 at the Academy De-La-Salle and under the direction of Director Claude Brisebois and in later years Rene Rockburne, the “Red Socks” was easily one of the most identifiable drum corps of its era and was well-known for its flamboyant visual and musical style. Taking the field in red cadet-style hats, white satin blouses, red, black and white sashes (worn distinctively by the corps on the right side) and the famous red socks, the Cadets LaSalle always stood out in a sea of woolen tunics, heavy shakos and feather plumes. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Warganism | Romanian metal-rock group formed in November 1995 in Bucharest, initially under the name Dies Irae until 2008. The band continuously evolved and their sound changed through the different releases and hundreds of live shows making them one of the best metal bands in Romania. The first period, 1995 - 1996, meant a lot of features at the shows on the local radios and on the Romanian national television. The end of 1996 meant the release of the first official material, an EP called “A Perennial Spleen”. 1999 – 2000, saw a very strong development of the Romanian metal scene and Warganism took full advantage of it by playing numerous shows all over the country. In 2000, as Victor Stoica left for the United States, the band followed other musical avenues, including industrial and trip-hop, also boasting a successful side project – Phobia. In the end of 2006 the band finally got back together and this time with the clear goal to take their music across the globe. Warganism recorded a single called Shadow. On September 2008, the band officially changed its name to Warganism, and released their new studio album called Centipede. 2011 Line-Up: Radu Iordache - vocals Marian Stoenică - guitars Sorin Stoian - Guitars Victor Stoica - drums, percussion Ioachim stroe - bass | |

| Search | Add | 2 | SomewhereNotHere | Conceived in 2005, Somewhere Not Here was an instrumental work in progress from Rik Clay (guitarist of FULC) who strays from his usual choice of instrument, the guitar, into new territory, making full use of a computer as an instrument in its own right. There were plans for more collaborations with other musicians and a full audio visual live show, however Rik sadly died shortly after his 26th birthday in August 2008 and as a consequence he left behind a body of work, mostly created in 2006, that is only now being evaluated for release in 2010. | |
