Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

His father, and the twin brother of his father, were also musicians in the 60ties & 70ties. Dirk was for example growing up in the "Guru Guru Haus" very deep in the Odenwald (Odin Woods) near Heidelberg for some years, getting in contact with all kind of instruments, crazy freaks, krautrock & thick air from a lot of smoke ! At one gig of the band Guru Guru, he was even Elektrolurch ! Maybe you know what Elektrolurch is. He fell to the ground because of a cable, and people had fun, but this is another story... Nowadays he is putting out music under the pseudonyms Amp-err, Pndk12770 & Van Kraut. He is releasing his music on his own label Aggregat Records with the sublabel Jedentag Musik. The music is more or less to put in the Electronic Genre (Electro, House, Techno, Minimal, TripHop, New Wave, etc.). |

Every event has a catalyst. There is no such thing as a blank page. So it goes that each Mortality Tables Product must begin with an outline of an initial creative concept – a thought; a notion; a moment of serious whimsy; a considered reflection on life, memory, love, loss, trauma, death. We document those ideas, then invite collaborators to respond freely to them. They may ignore us. They may say no. They may say yes. Whoever we invite to participate shall be unencumbered by restriction, constraint, expectation, convention, limit or judgement. There are never any right or wrong answers, because there are no questions. There is nothing more than the idea and the response. Mortality Tables Est. Search | Add | 6 | J.K. Coltrain | J. K. Coltrain was born in Columbus, Ohio. He spent his early childhood days between there and West Virginia where his parents operated a small Mom & Pop grocery store. His Dad also was an excellent auto mechanic and in fact owned a number of repair shops over the years and was a weekend stock car racer. That's one reason why J. K. is a Nascar fanatic to this day:) J.K. grew up surrounded by music & musicians. His cousin, Buddy Starcher was a professional recording artist on Columbia Records and was a regular performer on the then popular Midwestern & Louisiana Hayrides. He also introduced the late Keith Whitley who first appeared on Buddys weekly radio show in Charleston, West Virginia when he was 8 years old. J. K. made his own first appearance on radio at age 12 and first TV appearance at age 14. His Uncle & Grandpa performed together at churches throughout the South. That's where J. K. made his first appearance singing in church at the ripe old age of 11. His first professional job was at age 14 when he began singing with The Pleasant Hill Quartet. A well-known gospel group at the time. Of course in his teens he had to try his hand in high school dance bands like Fire n' Ice and The Four Aces but by age 20 he had returned to his first love country music. At that time J. K. helped form a 7 piece country rock group called 'The Southern Express'. They garnered a great deal of regional success and opened for many popular groups at that time such as Pure Prairie League, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Poco & The Marshall Tucker Band. In 1983 he left The Southern Express to pursue a solo career as his heart was with more traditional country music. He appeared to be taking the music business by storm as he was often the featured artist on Ernest Tubbs Midnite Jamboree and many popular Nashville nightclubs and was dubbed The Star of Tomorrow by Country Music News. He first cracked the country music charts in 1987 with a self-penned song, West Virginia You're Still My Home on the Studio 7 label. Since then he had enjoyed a number of chart successes including being shown in the Top 40 in Europe for 41 straight weeks. He also has made many appearances on radio & TV including The Nashville Showcase, The Midnight Jamboree, Nashville On Stage, The Jerry Lewis Telethon & Stars of Tomorrow Show. J. K. has toured worldwide and worked with some of the greatest names in country music including Jerry Reed, Loretta Lynn, The Bellamy Brothers, Conway Twitty, Buck Owens, George Jones, Tammy Wynette & Jerry Lee Lewis to name just a few. In addition to still recording and performing on his own J.K. is now helping the new up & coming young artists serving as the President of Colt Records Nashville as well as Nashville Radio Promotions, Chairman of The Traditional Country Opry and hosting The Country Star Showcases. He was recently awarded The Texas CMA Entertainer and Best Country Album of The Year awards. J. K. Coltrain is a member of: Traditional Country Hall of Fame Country Music Association Academy of Country Music Country Legends Association Americana Music Association

He has his own style, which is reflected in the new Trance tracks he actively releases. But production is not the only thing he lives for, he also loves playing club music as a DJ, creating and mixing, and appearing in guest mixes by other DJs.

Search | Add | 6 | SpiderSimpson | SpiderSimpson are a Rock/Alternative band consisting of members Adam Zindani (vocals/guitar), Sam Yapp (drums), Jo Crofts (guitar), Neil Irving (bass), and Dean Deavall (keyboards). The band was originally formed as 'Casino' in 2003 and changed name following their signing to Polydor in 2006. The band played their first home gig at 'The Railway' music bar in Birmingham during September 2003. Soon after, they were approached to submit five songs for a film company - which were later to become the basis of the soundtrack for the Ultimate Pictures film - 'Global Heresy' starring Alicia Silverstone & Martin Clunes, ironically depicting the trials and tribulations of an up and coming rock'n'roll band. Over the next year, the band went on to build a loyal fan base from the roots up by gigging extensively around the U.K, including supports slots with the Stereophonics, which culminated in being invited to open the Stereophonics 2005 UK tour. During 2005 a self-produced demo caught the attention of the newly formed midlands based rock-radio station - Kerrang, who decided to playlist the band's song 'Lose Myself' during prime time listening hours. The subsequent increase in popularity saw the band continuing to play small local venues and supporting The Suffrajets on their UK tour. 'Lose myself' and 'Heavy metal machine' were both heavily featured for the Gumball 2006 TV show. The band were signed to Polydor in Spring 2006 and recorded their debut album at studio 606 in LA with producer Nick Raskulinecz. The band has seen constant support from Kerrang Radio and local and national fans and have also seen radio support from both Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters and Kelly Jones of the Stereophonics. They recently completed the Kerrang Radio Breakthrough Tour with other newley signed bands. But 2007 was a quiet year for the band as Adam became heavily involved with touring with Stereophonics as their live guitarist. Appearing on Radio One's Big Weekend, Later... With Jools Holland, The Friday Night Project, Q Awards and many other shows. He was also hugely involved in the promotion for Stereophonics sixth studio album Pull The Pin. He looks set to continue touring across Europe with the band this year [2008].

Search | Add | 6 | Aaron Deponce | Aaron Hilliard | Singer, Songwriter & Entertainer, Aaron Deponce, is making his presence felt in the music industry with his smooth, sultry voice and high energy-packed performances. DePonce is a gifted, innovative, and influential music figure who started singing at the age of 5 in Indianapolis, Indiana. At age 16, his singing talents soon became obvious to industry heavy hitters, Darryl Simmons, Kenneth "Baby Face "Edmonds, and Antonio "L.A. "Reid. In 1992, they quickly signed him to Laface Records as a member of the R&B group, "A FEW GOOD MEN". The group first appeared on The LaFace Family Christmas album in 1993 singing their very own rendition of "Silver Bells", which still to date is played in heavy rotation, getting us in the Christmas spirit each and every year. The group's debut album, "Take a Dip", featured two successful singles 'Tonite' and 'Have I Never.' The Babyface produced, 'Have I Never', was the group's biggest success, reaching #32 on the R&B charts and #76 on the Hot 100. The Dallas Austin produced, 'Tonite', managed to reach #44 on the R&B charts. Unfortunately, due to front office reconstruction at the record label, their project didn't receive the necessary support it needed. In 1997 the group disbanded, and in 1999 DePonce signed to an independent recording label, Imperium Records, in Miami, Florida. His solo debut album, "From My Window", which spawned the songs "Just The Way You Are", and "Tight-Tight", opened his eyes to all the benefits of controlling his vision and reaping the many rewards of doing so. After a successful solo debut, DePonce decided to take his career in his own hands and create NEW MERGE, Inc., which released the labels first album, "Devotion", in 2005. Aaron Deponce then realized that by using the power of internet sales with networks such as MySpace & CD Baby, he could connect with distribution companies in other countries. His music began to reach audiences as far as Japan, Europe and Africa. In 2007, while in Atlanta, Georgia working with other recording artists signed to Usher Raymond's manager, J.Pat, he gained the attention of Terrence"T-Low"Brown & Robert"RL"Huggar, both members of the Multi Platinum R&B Trio "NEXT". With the third member no longer a part of the group, DePonce was given the opportunity to fill that void. Touring and eventually recording with "NEXT", he never stopped perfecting his craft as a solo artist. Because of his driven personality, and his strong desire to succeed, he wasted no time in recording his new album, "HEREAFTER", set to be released Aug 18, 2011. His resume of career achievements not only includes singing, songwriting, and production, but he also possesses extensive knowledge and experience in sales, marketing and promotions. Aaron Deponce's wide variety of talents and gifts has enabled him to reinvent himself and stay relevant in today's music industry. |

Ncomfortable, real name Nicolò Vairo, is an Italian producer from Turin, Italy. In love with music since an early age in the early 2000s he got in touch with electronic music and the discovery of acts such as Aphex Twin and Photek was really influential to him. Around 2007 thanks to a dodgy version of Reason 3 he began his journey into music production, cutting teeth on many genres, slowly moving from playing in his bedroom to illegal rave parties. In 2012, back to Italy after 1 year spent living in London, the project Ncomfortable was officially born with the idea of making deep, breakbeat based music. After years of hard work to improve his craft and defining his style, Ncomfortable remained loyal to his aesthetic and his weird blend of jungle, hip hop and idm started to getting him noticed in the Italian bass music scene and his releases on BNC Express and Dissected Culture LTD received supports from all across Europe, USA and Latin America. Back to his hometown after 4 years spent in Mexico, 2016 looks great for Ncomfortable so far with his first release on wax ( Route 1 Audio Vol. 2 ) and a bunch of tunes forthcoming on well respected Italian and European labels. |

Search | Add | 6 | Jahfa Culture | Jahfa Culture was born in Sheffield, UK and currently resides in the Tampa Bay Region of Florida, USA. His earliest musical influence began at the age of 14 as a drummer with reggae band “Inner Strength” and his earliest singing inspiration started with Dennis Brown. He started performing across the Yorkshire and Midlands territories at the age of 15. In his late teens after arriving on the scene in London and learning about music and the reggae industry he received great vocal advice from Neil Fraser AKA Mad Professor, producer at Ariwa Records (London) and Jah Shaka (London) which he still uses today. In 1986 Jahfa Culture teamed up with Jah Tubby’s (London) to produce the soundman anthem and now highly sought-after “Listen to We”. Since then Jahfa Culture has worked with Rootsman Carl from the Roots Connection (London) producing “Commando Commando” & “Baby I Love You” (1987), Mike Maverick with Action Records (Nottingham) producing the singles “When I See You Cry” & “Party Time”, produced the collaboration album “Truth, Justice & the Raggamuffin Way”, worked with Speng Gorgon in Sheffield producing “Rain From the Skies” and self-produced “I’m Gonna Make Sure” on Commando Records (Sheffield), backed by The Steel City’s Mighty Mosiah Warrior band. Jahfa Culture has also performed with various soundsystems such as Young Rebel (London) and Kumasi Warrior (Sheffield). In 2003 he founded “Freestyle Vocals” based out of Sheffield, UK and has since expanded the business into the Tampa Bay Region, USA. He has taught well over 2,000 singers from various parts of the UK and beyond, covering a wide array of diverse musical styles and received his Certification in Vocal Studies at Sheffield University. Moving forward into 2012 and Jahfa Culture is still going strong; Look out for the release of “Revelation Time” in September 2012, produced by Crucial Steve at Righteous Works (London) and written by Jahfa Culture, voiced at Pedro EA Production in St. Petersburg, FL and lyrically inspired by the times in which we are living in. Jahfa Culture would like to thank his wife for putting the biography together, and Crucial Steve for making this project happen.

Search | Add | 6 | Wang Jingxin | 王静欣 | WJX (Wang Jingxin) is an artist who words specifically in 3D rendering and design, most commonly for album art, who describes their art style as ‘Meta-Real, more real than the real world’. With the rise of digital presences in our post-pandemic world, most notably with the origin of the Facebook ‘Meta-Verse’, where we won’t be limited to the absence of our physical entities on social media, WJX explores these ideas with their hyper-surreal pieces. Their works combine inspirations from nature and the physical human form with concepts of a technological future, such as hybrid creatures, apocalyptic prophecies and the possible futures for our world, all using 3D rendering tools and photography that question our future ahead with the rise of digital opportunities. |
