Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 6 | Monochromystic | When astronauts were launched to the moon in the 1960s, they found a “magnificent desolation” and a unique sense of solitude that can only come from being a quarter of a million miles away from the rest of humankind. Compared to the scale of their mission, the resources they were able to bring were relatively minimal and highly focused. Monochromystic finds inspiration in that expansive solitude and focused limitation, producing each spare, ambient work with a single monosynth and a handful of knobby effects in a single take. | |

Ideologicznie świadomie i celowo zespół wspiera akcje antyrasistowskie, wolnościowe i ekologiczne. Wokalistów Qulturki można usłyszeć m.in. na najnowszej płycie zespołu STRACHY NA LACHY I cant get no gratisfaction. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Il sogno | IL SOGNO is about storytelling, freedom and intuition. The Polish-Danish-Italian trio uses melodic, minimal compositions as a motor for elevated and focused collective improvisations. With its lyrical uniqueness, their music floats on the borders between genres, landing somewhere between jazz, motion picture soundtrack, experimental and minimalism. Italian opera and the Polish romantic piano heritage, as well as the Danish wise interpretation of the African-American culture play a decisive role in the background, combining a mature, personal sound with deep emotional content. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Jean Dovy | Jean Dovy | J Dovy has defined the characteristics of the French house sound and created his own style of “filtered house,” and “tekfunk.” Combining the two ingredients with a deep house vibe you can hear early influences by pioneers Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Shep Petibone, and Todd Terry. In 1997 J Dovy released his first track titled “Deep in Underground” on House Trade Records, under the moniker D&S. Later in 2010 he signed with various dance labels releasing more than 150 tracks on Soul Shift Music, Law Recordings, Disco Birds, Nylon Trax Records, and many others. His weekly podcast, “Burn It” consisting of deep house mixes grew a large audience with over 50,000 downloads over a three year period time, making it a total of 90 episodes. J Dovy helped put Lyon, France on the map while collaborating with other local artists and musicians. He formed Men From Nobu with fellow band mate Vartan Fau, a jazz pianist. “Nobu” is a track by Herbie Hancock, a popular musician beloved by the duo. Previous releases, were made under the names of Effendi and FueL, on Dovy’s chill out and funk label Lokossa Music. J’s second label Raw Matter Recordings caters to the more underground vibe releasing music from lesser known artists. Both labels have made boutique shop recommendations, such as Traxsource, Juno Download, also charted by DJ and producer Larry Heard. In 2014 J Dovy regrouped the two labels Raw Matter Recordings and Lokossa Music and formed dovymusic with sub labels Groove Park Records and somanymusic. |

Norwich Live Gig promoter with "WombatWombat" and alternative recording engineer/producer during same period - sometimes working under the name "M.E.G.A.N Process" - recording bands in any location of their choice. Also was a full time member of many bands including the Norfolk UK band Magoo joining the group to help with the promotion of the "Vote The Pacifist Ticket Today" UK tour with Derby band Cable, a Radio One Newcastle sound city live show and various John Peel Sessions for the BBC. After the departure from the group of David Bamford and Andrew Hodge, Andrew Rayner, Owen Turner and I built a 16/256 track digital studio in the 'Sickroom' rehearsal room and we started writing and recording the "Realist Week" album. I remained working with the group until the Realist Week album was released. Other bands I have performed and recorded with include the legendary Norwich group "The Pitkins" as their replacement violinst/guitar back-up , "Drudge" where I recorded, produced and sequenced bass/drums, and Suffolks finest post-punk noise outfit "Tokyo Sexhwale" where we recorded a Polly Session for an Ipswich local radio station. |

A few releases later, including on [l1264839] and [l358411], he felt his taste evolving more and more to a raw/dub Techno sound so he started producing solo under a new alias, Howski, and finally decided to take his own way and focus on this new project. On July 16, 1934, she married a fellow Chicagoan, bartender Malen Jordan, in nearby Lake Co., Indiana. In 1937, they were living in Stockton, CA. Soon, Merceedes made her way to New York and began to perform in Harlem night clubs; she also ran a well-known after-hours club in Harlem, the Gee-Haw Stables. On September 2, 1942, she joined the American Women's Voluntary Services (AWVS), leading a Harlem-based motor corps unit. In May 1943, she transferred to the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC). As Second Lieutenant Mercedes Jordan, she served as a Special Service Officer at Fort Huachuca, AZ, then became Transportation Officer with the all-black 6888th Postal Directory Battalion in England and France. Starting in the late 1930s, Merceedees also enjoyed some success as a composer. Her song "Like A Ship At Sea" was recorded by [a=Jimmie Lunceford] in 1938. Apart from performing in local clubs, she had her own shows on KING-AM radio and on KING-TV. She also recorded several of her own songs for the [l=Linden] label. Between 1949-1951, she was married to local mink rancher, Russell Walton. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Вера Духовская | Вера Иосифовна Духовская | Vera Dukhovskaya (1903—1982) is a Russian chamber singer, lyric-coloratura soprano. In 1923, Vera Dukhovskaya graduated from the Moscow Philharmonic School (later transformed into GITIS = [l605813]) in vocal class and then arrived in Petrograd, where, on the advice of Anatoly Lunacharsky = [a2719818], she began performing in an ensemble with pianist Mikhail Bikhter. From November 1924 to January 1931, in the Small Philharmonic Hall (it was then located in the current Beethoven Foyer of the [l731129]), musicians gave seven concerts with perfectly arranged programs: these were Russian romances - from [url=https://www.discogs.com/ru/artist/835128-Mikhail-Ivanovich-Glinka]Glinka[/url] to [url=https://www.discogs.com/ru/artist/115469-Igor-Stravinsky]Stravinsky[/url], "The Musical Creativity of a Russian Woman", where the vocal lyrics by Elizaveta Kochubey, Anna Esipova, Lyubov Strikher, Valentina Ramm, Yulia Veisberg, "The Origins of the French Romance" - from the 13th century to the songs of the French Revolution, were performed. In 1936, Vera Dukhovskaya returned to Moscow, became a soloist of the All-Union Touring and Concert Association, but did not lose contact with the Leningrad Philharmonic. In the winter of 1937, from the Philharmonic Concert Bureau, she gives two solo concerts in the Chapel, accompanied by the Moscow pianist Vladimir Donato = [a13900306] (real name Natan Shulman = [a4048018], 1906-1983), who received his pseudonym under funny circumstances from Sergei Yesenin = [a812245] himself. But Vera Dukhovskaya gives her first and only solo concert in the Great Hall in March 1938, accompanied by Sofia Davydova = [a7454475]. Her performance with the Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by [a833033] will also be single: on November 12, 1938, she will perform Alexandrov's "Children's Songs". Dukhovskaya will appear on the stage of the Great Hall several more times in combined, more often daytime, concerts for the target audience with the Soviet repertoire. The performer of the piano part is not listed in these programs. But, most likely, it was Sofya Davydova: in February 1941, Vera Dukhovskaya will take part in the anniversary program dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the pianist's artistic activity, to her accompaniment in October 1939 she will give a solo concert from Tchaikovsky's romances in the Glazunov Conservatory Hall ( at that time it was one of the chamber venues of the Philharmonic), on April 27, 1943, they will perform together in Novosibirsk, where the Philharmonic was evacuated during the war. In the same place, in February 1943, Dukhovskaya's solo concert with pianist Pavel Valdgardt = [a5027805] will take place. After the war, Vera Dukhovskaya did not come to Leningrad with concerts. In 1948, she left her concert career and until 1957 taught at the Musical College. |
