Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 5 | Notes From Prague | The underground group Notes From Prague was established in 2000 by David Chvátal, a well known Czech director of skateboard videos, [a=Antwi], DJ Negative and producer Maykee, Dave´s brother. NFP was at that time a project leading to the soundtrack of the 2000 and 2001 Praha sk8 video magazines. Their debut album came out in 2002 titled "The Script of Both Elements". This soundtrack - album including 20 tracks of raw instrumental beats was also Antwi's debut. There is also a bonus track on this album - a RMX by DJ Wich - Orien Bounce. This album is quite rare, about 500 pieces came out. The second album "Same Place" in late 2004 made the group better known and there was a huge difference in the sound of their music as well. Better instrumentals, sharper and more direct performance of Darcphayce and guests like LA4, Daniela or Dr. Kary were successful elements of the the band´s progress further in the Czech hiphop scene. NFP also managed to build up a live band with strings, bass guitar and drums. Most of Antwi's lyrics contemplate about differences of life in the US and the Czech Republic (Prague and Philadelphia to be more specific). Some of the tracks in both albums also heavily influenced by life in the skateboarding community. Oblíbené skupiny

Search | Add | 5 | Plankton Waves | Plankton Waves is the symbiotic union of producer/composer Michel Flammant and vocalist/composer Natalie Pickar who have been involved in many different projects over the years. In 2010 they decided to continue on their own, to build a place for themselves and to work in isolation. Out of this reclusion came a very distinct sound. It’s dark and haunting yet glittering and beautiful; and definitely hard to categorize. Michel’s pulsing analog synthesizers are entangled by Natalie’s androgynous vocals while tribals drums and old beat machines push the songs forward. There are hints of Wave, 70s Psychedelic or 80s Pop, yet Plankton Waves are nothing of it and more at the same time. In any case their hypnotic compositions are the perfect soundtrack for fever dreams on a windy autumn night. This becomes especially clear if you happen to witness one of their visually intense live performances. At the age of eight, his parents took him to an amateur talent radio contest; he entered and won, and so, he was booked. During the following years, he entered many more contests, and, he eventually became a professional vocalist and song writer. His first record, 'Thunder and Lightning', -- was for the Starday People in Nashville -- which is not a bad start. With his first band, 'The Bounty Hunters,' he toured the Pacific Northwest and the Midwest, then went to Canada and did a syndicated TV show for the Screen Gems Co. Later, he worked at many of the clubs and casinos in Las Vegas. "After that, he went to California, working most of the clubs and hotels from Los Angeles to Capistrano. A member of the Hollywood Red TV Show, he toured with that talented little gal, Sue Thompson, who is one of the best in Nashville Sounds. "Recognized as a song writer among his many friends in the C-W music field, he has appeared on shows with such notables as Ray Price, Kitty Wells, Guy Mitchell, Jim Reeves, Johnny Ray and Wynn Stewart, among many others. Living in the Desert since 1976, he has made it his home. His latest record, 'Hollow Sounds of Silence,' is now available and has been aired on 187 radio stations in the USA and in Canada."

Search | Add | 5 | Вера Духовская | Вера Иосифовна Духовская | Vera Dukhovskaya (1903—1982) is a Russian chamber singer, lyric-coloratura soprano. In 1923, Vera Dukhovskaya graduated from the Moscow Philharmonic School (later transformed into GITIS = [l605813]) in vocal class and then arrived in Petrograd, where, on the advice of Anatoly Lunacharsky = [a2719818], she began performing in an ensemble with pianist Mikhail Bikhter. From November 1924 to January 1931, in the Small Philharmonic Hall (it was then located in the current Beethoven Foyer of the [l731129]), musicians gave seven concerts with perfectly arranged programs: these were Russian romances - from [url=https://www.discogs.com/ru/artist/835128-Mikhail-Ivanovich-Glinka]Glinka[/url] to [url=https://www.discogs.com/ru/artist/115469-Igor-Stravinsky]Stravinsky[/url], "The Musical Creativity of a Russian Woman", where the vocal lyrics by Elizaveta Kochubey, Anna Esipova, Lyubov Strikher, Valentina Ramm, Yulia Veisberg, "The Origins of the French Romance" - from the 13th century to the songs of the French Revolution, were performed. In 1936, Vera Dukhovskaya returned to Moscow, became a soloist of the All-Union Touring and Concert Association, but did not lose contact with the Leningrad Philharmonic. In the winter of 1937, from the Philharmonic Concert Bureau, she gives two solo concerts in the Chapel, accompanied by the Moscow pianist Vladimir Donato = [a13900306] (real name Natan Shulman = [a4048018], 1906-1983), who received his pseudonym under funny circumstances from Sergei Yesenin = [a812245] himself. But Vera Dukhovskaya gives her first and only solo concert in the Great Hall in March 1938, accompanied by Sofia Davydova = [a7454475]. Her performance with the Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by [a833033] will also be single: on November 12, 1938, she will perform Alexandrov's "Children's Songs". Dukhovskaya will appear on the stage of the Great Hall several more times in combined, more often daytime, concerts for the target audience with the Soviet repertoire. The performer of the piano part is not listed in these programs. But, most likely, it was Sofya Davydova: in February 1941, Vera Dukhovskaya will take part in the anniversary program dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the pianist's artistic activity, to her accompaniment in October 1939 she will give a solo concert from Tchaikovsky's romances in the Glazunov Conservatory Hall ( at that time it was one of the chamber venues of the Philharmonic), on April 27, 1943, they will perform together in Novosibirsk, where the Philharmonic was evacuated during the war. In the same place, in February 1943, Dukhovskaya's solo concert with pianist Pavel Valdgardt = [a5027805] will take place. After the war, Vera Dukhovskaya did not come to Leningrad with concerts. In 1948, she left her concert career and until 1957 taught at the Musical College. |

Search | Add | 5 | Lost Lakes | Madison, Wisconsin Lost Lakes is a collaboration between Corey Mathew Hart and Paul Mitch. The two met during a songwriting competition held by a local radio station. It wasn't until they returned for a duets portion of the follow year's competition that Corey saw Paul play bass and singing harmonies. The first time Corey and Paul played together, they clicked musically and personally. The collaboration has grown over the years, developing into a strong songwriting and production team with a focus on well-crafted tunes and tight vocal harmonies. Lost Lakes' self-titled debut record bears witness to their talents and the fact the whole can be greater than the sum of its parts. Recorded over a 9 month period, the recording process was a labor of love. Paul and Corey produced the record and enlisted percussionist Shane Leonard (Field Report, The Stray Birds) along with longtime bandmate Rusty Lee on keyboards to fill out the sound. The project was recorded in a shared warehouse space called the Dojo. Many of the basic tracks were recorded live in 2 separate sessions with overdubs done in small Thursday night sessions. Being fairly porous to the outside elements, the temperature in the Dojo ranged from 41 degrees to well over 100 over the course of the project, adding a sense of adventure to the sessions. Being able to take their time for this project gave Corey and Paul a lot of freedom to try different sounds and arrangements for songs they have been playing live for a couple of years. With no pressure, no deadline, and a giant warehouse space filled with eclectic gear, the two managed to create a record of the highest quality. When it came time to mix the album, Corey and Paul called on an old acquaintance, Grammy award winning engineer Justin Guip. The two had met Guip years ago when they opened for The Amy Helm (daughter of Levon Helm) at a Barn show in Spring Green, WI. Guip also happened to have just finished a record with the Stray Birds that Shane Leonard played percussion on. The past and present collided, and the timing couldn't have been better. Corey and Paul approached Guip about mixing the record and he was very excited about the songs and tracks that were laid down at the Dojo. Guip's aesthetic greatly aligned with the vision that Paul and Corey had for the record, and the result is a compelling masterpiece.

Search | Add | 5 | Sebastian A. Dusza | Sebastian Arkadiusz Dusza | Sebastian Arkadiusz Dusza was born in 1978. Already as a child he became interested in music. His first simple compositions started to appear in 1984. During his whole childhood, Sebastian had contact with various music genres, from classical music to rock and metal. Already in his elementary school, he got his first toy synthesizer which he used to learn how to play, strumming what he heard. Then music paled into insignificance for a while due to exploring other passions and of course school chores, yet fascination with electronic music remained. In 1995, Sebastian’s parents got him his first PC with a soundcard which resulted in first attempts of composing music using Scream Tracker, and next Fast Tracker software. In 1996, he gave life to music project under the name Citadel of Mo. When asked about what inspired him to do so, the author stated that “the idea to create a music project came to being from the hidden urge to create music which slumbered somewhere within.” The project’s output includes several dozen of works starting from club techno, and ending on mellow moods of electronic music. Sebastian Dusza remains the leader and main producer of Citadel of Mo, while the project itself is open to cooperation with other artists. In 2005, Sebastian discovered VSTi virtual instruments and the FL Studio software. At that time, he decided to recapitulate on his most interesting works up to date in the form of his first mini-album, “Data From the Sky“. In 2006, Sebastian bought a MIDI keyboard. He started to build his home studio. In December the very same year, a new album, entitled “Next Chapter” appeared. This was his first album which came to being already in a uniform editing environment. In 2007, works of Citadel of Mo appeared in the autopilot of El-Stacja (El-Station), a non-commercial internet radio broadcasting Polish electronic music. That year, a musical motive for the movie “Agent 700: Kryptonim N.” (”Agent 700: Codename N.“) was created and distributed as an mp3 maxi-single through a website. A broadcast in El-Stacja dedicated in total to Citadel of Mo appeared a year later. 2008 became a virtuous circle for Citadel of Mo. On May 15th the broadcast of Jerzy Kordowicz (in the third channel of the Polish radio) featured “Planet RX” as a bonus to Piotr Krupski’s “Elbing 1904″, on May 31st the same composition appeared in El-Stacja in Markowe granie (Mark’s Playlist), and on July 11th once again in the broadcast of Jerzy Kordowicz. Sebastian A. Dusza derives inspiration for his works from different music genres, from classical to popular music, and ethnic music from various part of the world. His works are included in the following compilations: Contemporary Electronic Soundscapes vol. III - “ROBOT FAIRY TALES” (”Voyage Through the Stars (Robot Voice version)“) and Contemporary Electronic Soundscapes vol. IV - “THE DARK SIDE OF THE MIND” (”Dark Side of the Soul“). In the third channel of the Polish radio Jerzy Kordowicz broadcasted, apart from “Planet RX“, “Voyage Through the Stars (Robot Voice Version)” from the album CES III. El-Stacja broadcasted such compositions as “One Day in Gdynia“, “Behind the Mind” and “Onse madonse (feat. DJ Placus)“, and in addition “Third Eye” which came as 2nd in its premiere charts. |

Search | Add | 5 | Andy Baar | Andy Baar | Andy Baar's first contact with electronic Dance music was in 1993 at Düsseldorf Unionrave. From there on he'd knew ”This is my thing”. Being Guest at several Parties with electronic Music he felt the need to swap his place on the dancefloor with a place behind the turntables. In 1996 having the first gigs in Clubs around Cologne. 1997 was the beginning of what he really liked: He started as resident DJ at Evosonic Radio. From the first day to it's last, Evosonic Radio was his second home base. Starting with the Show ”Evopool-Update”, he loved to work on air and everything that had to do with that, like recording jingles, creating concepts and sets for the show. Quick after that he had his first own weekly show called “Sleep Disorder”. Hours and hours on air, getting a much brighter horizon of what electronic music could do, he went more and more familiar with lots of genres electronic music has to offer. Several gigs around Germany and being a part of the Loveprades DJset 1998 and 1999 were some of his highlights. 2012 the old love of making Radio shows knocked on his door with the possibility of having an online broadcast at the 15th anniversary of Evosonic Radio. Since the he used this way for broadcasting his “Wunderbaar Radioshow” (since 2016 his show “Sleep Disorder” as podcast) for letting old and new fans have the typical sound again. 2017 started Evosonic Radio again….with Andy Baar. 2017 is also the year of another highlight in his career. On Evosonic Records his first production is released: "Sleep Disorder EP". |

Search | Add | 5 | The Rhymney Silurian Male Choir | The Rhymney Silurian Male Choir was formed in 1951 and swiftly established a reputation for the quality of its performance and variety of its repertoire. The desire to embrace musical innovation has been its trademark throughout its history. There have been three main areas of development for the Choir:- competition, concert and international friendship and exchanges. During the almost 60 years of its existence the Choir has never rested on its laurels, to do so would have resulted in musical decline. On the competition stage the Choir has amassed no fewer than four National Eisteddfod titles, five Championships:- Cheltenham Choral Gold Cup and the Cornish Open Championship to name just two. The repertoire of male choirs have been enhanced and enriched with the commissioning of music from composers such as Mervyn Burtch and the late William Mathias. Balanced against this strive for perfection through the musical discipline of competitions, the Choir has also channelled its energies into the promotion and support through concerts of various national and international charities such as heart and cancer appeal funds. It has even been invited to support a Royal Gala Concert at the thjeatre in Windsor and even a concert at Eton College under the chairmanship of a certain Sir Terry Worgan. One of the Choir's major projects in the late 1980's was the support given following the Mexican Earthquake disaster when it made a topical football record to coincide with the Mexican World Cup and donated all profits to the Children's Orphanage Fund headed by our ambassador and also the Placido Domingo Fund.

In 1925, the Chicago radio station WGN stated broadcasting their radio orchestra. Chicago Philharmonic was basically the house orchestra of the radio station WGN. [a3978074] was musical director of WGN from 1934 to 1958, conducting the orchestra. They played live concerts with guest conductors [a5562949] in 1936, and [a6550564] in 1937. One of their violinists were Orvin A. Sale. Some lathe cut/lacquer discs exist of Leo Sowerby: Symphony No 3/Weber/Chicago PO, from a 1946 performance. That recording is incomplete because the radio station broadcasting the program live cut-off the broadcast on the hour, a few minutes before the symphony concluded. Leo, presumably, paid a recording service to record it off the air. [l731225] released recordings produced by Mercury Records, on mostly red vinylite pressings. These discs were released to "subscribers" of the Sears catalog in early spring/summer 1947. Note that orchestras appears under several aliases and name variants, presumably due to rights issues, sometimes paired with conductor [a696257]. Around 1951, Mercury released a couple of compilation LPs from the Silvertone releases. The orchestra closed down 1956. The Silvertone tracks were compiled and reissued again on Paramount Enterprises' "Hollywood" bargain LP label between 1956 and '58.

Home is now perth, Western Australia, but he lives and works in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His photography is taken to another level and becomes more artwork than simple image capture. Alan comes from a expressive, diverse and esoteric background of music, photography and digital arts influenced and guided by his father and his younger brother, [a416887], a pioneering electronic music and video artist as one half of [a2549] and [a2263]. Search | Add | 5 | Fast Piece Of Furniture | This Toledo, Ohio-based band was formed by singer and guitarist Tony Lowe, who played with a variety of bands in Ohio, including Junior Electric. In 2003 he met Jeff Nelson, who had drummed for many bands, most notably Minor Threat. Jeff moved to Toledo from the Washington, DC area because of his obsession with old Jeep Wagoneers, (Jeep is from Toledo) and for Toledo’s remarkable collection of affordable Victorian houses. Although when he moved he had not played drums in 12 years, he was so impressed by Tony's playing, singing, and songwriting that he came out of retirement to join his band. Several lineup changes later, they were joined by bassist Mahlon Orrin, who’d played in The Black Dahlia Murder and PB.Army. Shortly thereafter, the band was completed when friend and law student Erika Kuester joined them on keyboards. When Tony had first looked around the big Victorian house Jeff bought, he was immediately struck by how perfect it would be for recording, especially the third-floor ballroom. With friend Brian Nupp (known as the “Fifth Piece of Furniture”) engineering, a great variety of sounds were captured in the ballroom, the second floor hall, and in various bedrooms and bathrooms. The results can be heard on their debut album, “Adventures in Contentment,” a co-release between Adult Swim and Dischord Records.

Search | Add | 5 | Andras Fixler | Andras Fixler | Retro-pop & HI-NRG entertainer, born in Budapest, Hungary. Since his childhood Andras Fixler has always been attracted to performing arts, music and shows and has always been full of creativity, ideas and plans. Andras had been creating revue shows based on World-famous pop hits. He put his ideas into staging, including sets, costumes, lighting and worked together with music arrangers and choreographers. These shows were presented on various events, parties as well as countrywide tours. In most cases Andras was also on stage in these shows, performing as the main character: “The Showman”, singing and dancing throughout, backed up with the ensemble and actually hosting the events whenever it was required. After being on the road with the revue shows for a while it was time to move on. Andras was suggested to record the music they had been performing on stage. He decided to release an album – which was titled “It’s Showtime!” – still somehow connected to the past years, but this time without the ensemble, rather as a solo entertainer: Andras Fixler. Following “It’s Showtime!” Andras has been producing and releasing music in both physical and digital format and since pop music comes along with videos, he has also started making these with his creative team. The CD, EP and other music releases had to be presented live to the audience, so Andras has been back on stage (where –according to him– he belongs to the most) as a performing artist. “I enjoy working in all aspects of show-business. I love to perform and be surrounded by talented people. But most of all -on stage or backstage- I have been passionately fond of creating entertainment for the audience.” (Andras Fixler) |

Her parents were Irish immigrants Richard and Mary Cahill. She had an older brother named Richard. Both her father and brother ran a brush making business. Marie began her career in the late 1880s first in her native Brooklyn and then on Broadway. In 1902 in the show Sally In Our Alley she introduced the song "Under The Bamboo Tree" which became her signature song and one of the most famous songs from the turn of the century. Also in 1902 in the musical "The Wild Rose" she premiered another hit song "Nancy Brown". In 1903 the popularity of the "Nancy Brown" song was expanded into its own musical for Cahill, and became her favorite role. She had a plump and jolly demeanor and in addition to being a singer she presented herself as a conversationalist in a style that at best anticipates the later Gracie Allen.

Search | Add | 5 | Jack Whitescarver | “All I want to do is eat meat,” says Jack Whitescarver, a self-described "really bad vegetarian." This ever-returning impulse to desire something outside the bounds of convention is something that has proven to be the distinguishing feature of Whitescarver’s musical work, as both songwriting and timbre have proven remarkably less steady over his years making music. Born in Virginia and raised in Connecticut, this 23 year old artist did not grow up listening to your standard city kid bangers like Jenny from the Block. In fact, Jack couldn’t have started any further from the proverbial block, rather developing a fondness for the supremely weird shit like Irish dancing and medieval chorus music. Naturally, during his teenage years, Whitescarver joined the top 40 pop bandwagon, and it is here within the marvelous intersection of the mainstream and the profoundly bizarre where this artist operates. So, when asked to describe his sound in three words, Whitescarver rattled off with little hesitation, “sexy, pastoral, and clown” (three words with about as much of a connection as hair, soy sauce, and fig newton). But perhaps the beauty of these three words appearing in sequence lies not in the blatancy of their connection but in the degree of their qualitative difference. A magical blending of everything rather than a monotonous casserole of the same thing. Whitescarver never actually studied music within an academic framework, instead graduating from Bard College having majored in studio arts. This background is inextricable from his persona as a performing artist. Vulnerability, theatricality, letting your “cool” go, all aspects that can be traced in his art, can equally be identified in his stage presence. One truly gets sense that his songs were meant to be performed. His campiness is authentic, raw, and genuinely enjoyable. His interest in pop stemmed from this proclivity for the dramatic, for narratives laced with tension condensed into a short snippets with the intention of being more accessible to a larger audience. But Whitescarver contends that it is only when you play with this tension in different ways, supplementing the narrative with layers of dissonance, tomfoolery, and willingness to explore outside of the existing bounds, only then will you hit “the sweet spot”. ___ “Less concerned with pushing the proverbial envelope of that new new than with forging an authentic identity that translates seamlessly to his music, Whitescarver is somewhat of a modern musical oddity.” -Kennedy Fairfax for Office Magazine

Search | Add | 5 | Bunker13 | Bunker 13 | Bend „Bunker 13”, nastao je aprila, 2016.god. svira alternativni Punk-R’N’R’ sa notom grunge-a, propraćeno iskrenom emocijom i energijom garažnog benda. Kroz svoje nastajanje bend se gradio kroz uticaje bendova i autora kao što su Rolling Stones, Billy Idol, Jimi Hendrix, The Cult, Placebo, Pearl Jam, Allman Brothers Band, Jetro Tull, Halestorm, Jet, Nirvana, Radiohead, Pantera, Sex Pistols, KUD IDijoti, Goblini, Partibrejkers, Džukele, Sham 69, Anti Nowhere League, Buzzcocks, Dead Kennedys, i sl. Bend radi autorsku muziku. U avgustu, 2016. godine, ulaze u studio "Komandant Adam" u Sremskoj Kamenici i snimaju svoj prvi demo singl pod nazivom "Kome da kažem NE?!". |
