Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | The Von Trolley Quartett | The Von Trolley Quartet are an Austrian band. They formed in late April 2004. Ukulele-ist Trent Arkleysmith (also known as Mild Wolf) and Robert (the almost amazing, Bertro, Bob) Falkinder first met in 1998, when Trent, at the time musical director of Circus Monoxide, actually employed Robert in his first role as a circus drummer. Trent left the company two weeks later, of his own free will. Nevertheless, in these two weeks the two accused struck up a bizarre, yet lasting musical and comical relationship. The next few years saw them coming together to work on various projects such as Lunar Circus, Toaster, and further seasons with Circus Monoxide. The 3rd individual involved was bassist Roman (The Good Doktor, Princess Rozza of Switzerland) Britschgi, at a session in the sound studio of an art academy in Vienna. Roman born and bred in Obwalden, Switzerland. The three made up the initial "Quartet". They play busker style folk and popular up tempo music on undersized instruments with audience interaction, crazy acrobatic stunts and illusions and unique and innovative comic routines | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Sarah Ka'ilikea | Sarah Kealamapuana Malina Ka'ilikea | Sarah Kealamapuana Malina Ka'ilikea, born on October 7, 1911, was not only a songwriter, but a genealogist and shared her Hawaiian learning, experiences, and music with everyone who became aware of her, due to what family members say was her photographic memory. Mary Kawena Pukui and David Bray were her teachers, and she continued to do research on anything and everything that had to do with Hawaiiana history and legends. She and her husband also run a club called the Luau Garden, where she helped organize performances not only for visiting musicians but also brought herself into the shows as well. They were not only a means of entertainment but meant to be an educational tool, something unique to the island of Kaua'i. She died at the age of 92 on February 25, 2004. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Pluton - the Dark Mystic | Jens-Peter "JP" Kadelka | Pluton, also known as Pluto / Plutos, is the roman god of the underworld and the name giver for live act & dj "Pluton -the Dark Mystic". Techno, especially the more deep & dark versions, in combination with Minimal, TechHouse and Deep House are the favoured musical genres of "Pluton - the Dark Mystic", accompanied by partly self created mystical sounds and effects. So the "God of the Underworld" musically arrived in modern times - that´s the main statement of the sets, gigs & show of "Pluton - the Dark Mystic". The artist has musical experiences as a known dj inside the psytrance scene since 1999. Since 2015 he creates club sounds due to his ideas of rough and a little harsh songs of the past years ... with that decision he returned to an "old love" called Techno. During his real-time track manipulation gigs (one can also say "live remix sets") of up to a maximum of 6 hours (!) PLUTON uses NI Traktor 2 Pro with all four decks and effects, Ableton live, NI Maschine plus different effects and hardware synths & grooveboxes. |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Buzniks | The Buzniks are a 4 piece band fronted by Squeeze Bassman John Bentley. Living in Hull, a 16 year old John took over the HP payments on a Fender Strat belonging to Mick Ronson, and used it in his first ever band FLESH. The group's bass player Trevor Bolder went on join the Spiders from Mars. During the 70’s, John founded the Fabulous Poodles, and did stints with Quintessence & the Nashville Teens. He backed influential mime artist Lindsey Kemp in a stage show. In 1978, John toured the UK supporting the Ramones with Snips and the Video Kings. Then on a crazy day in February 1979, John auditioned for Suzie Quatro and for Squeeze. The next day he got offered both jobs. “I decided to go with Squeeze, but I often wonder what might’ve happened if I’d driven off in a Quatro?” Two weeks after joining Squeeze, John was appearing on Top of the Pops as their record Cool for Cats shot into the top ten. He went on to record many classic tracks including: Tempted, Pulling Muscles, Black Coffee in Bed & Labeled with Love. He has played all over the globe at festivals and venues including: Glastonbury, Coachella, Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, and the Royal Albert Hall (backed by an orchestra). John has made countless appearances on TV shows including: The Old Grey Whistle Test, Saturday Night Live, American Bandstand, and the Ellen Degeneres Show. During a long and dangerous career, John has worked alongside many amazing musicians including: Elvis Costello, Sting, Paul Carrack, and Keith Emerson. John famously sang backing vocals and played bass for country legend Garth Brooks, and he appeared with his old pal Jools Holland on the Tube. Recently, John recorded the theme tune to the BBC2 series From the Cradle starring Peter Kay, and toured Japan with Squeeze. The Buzniks have a recording contract with 3MS Music. | Search | Add | 2 | Tom Dyer's New Pagan Gods | Tom Dyer is a Pacific Northwest fellow, a rather noisy one. For his 9th release in the last six years, he embraces the NW cannon of his youth – works by The Sonics, The Wailers, Paul Revere & The Raiders, The Ventures, The Fleetwoods, Merrilee Rush, as well as many lesser known gems from the 1957-68 period, when Northwest bands could deliver radio hits on the teen beacon KJR. To execute this difficult task, a relentless and raucous band of Green Monkey stars was assembled - Scott Sutherland and Scott Vanderpool from King County Queens on lead guitar and drums, Joe Ross and Jeff Kelly of the Green Pajamas on bass and the organ. Producer Steve Fisk was brought in to Green Monkey HQ to track the unholy racket. There was no attempt to duplicate the originals; we knew those could not be topped. The plan was simple. Play these songs with élan, with love and verve, with reverence (but not too much). Be true to the mountain-fresh spirit. We do hope you enjoy listening to this revisionist Northwest history as much (and as loudly) as we enjoyed making it. | |
