Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Started in the music industry in 1966 with a TV talent show called "The Like Young" and participated in an album the show released. In 1968 she joined with [a=Munks] and performed as Sweet Loraine & The Munks for nearly a year before going their separate ways. She soon joined up with Life, a psychedelic band on [l=Polydor] that had some chart success with single "Hands Of The Clock." In 1969, the group disbanded and Zimmerman began making some demos for music publishers [l=Chappell & Co. Ltd.], which led to the recording of her only solo album for [l=Crescent Street Records] in 1971. Crescent Street wound down and she signed with [l=Sweet Plum], then went on to tour as a backing singer for [a227848] before forming pop-rockers [a529105] in the mid-'70s and continuing to sing backing vocals for a variety of artists. |

Und das glaubt jeder, der die Platte hört. Was ihm sonst noch Spaß macht? Wasserski, die Schmalfilmerei und ein süßes Totenkopfäffchen, das sein Zuhause in Rheydt ziemlich lebendig werden lässt. Search | Add | 2 | Texas High Life | "When you go to a Texas High Life show for the first time, be ready to become addicted. The strong sounds and powerful song writing will leave you wanting more. Texas High Life got their start two years ago, when Mitch McBain (rhythm acoustic guitar) met Blake Myers (lead Vocals - Harmonica) at a local party in Cypress, Texas. The first time they met turned into a musical event. McBain had a guitar and was strumming it when Blake sat down, introduced himself, and asked, "do you know any Texas Country”, in which McBain replied, “I know Nightmare”, and the playing was on. For the next year and a half McBain and Myers would continue to collaborate on their music and songwriting. In April 2003, The Band was offered funding after an improv performance at a private party in Houston, thanks to the band that let us jam on their stage while they were on a break). Twenty minutes after their performance, they had a producer, and the band Texas High Life was born. Members were added from long friendship while living in Wimberley, Cypress and College Station Texas. Keith Binder on Drums - his brother Kevin on bass and Cory Pendleton -a good friend from the Hill Country, on electric guitar. Ever since their start, they have been rock’n venues around the Houston area; opening for the likes of Honeybrowne and Bleu Edmondson. Their distinct sound has influence from the previous two artists, along with Cory Morrow, Reckless Kelly, Mark Davis Manders, Willie Nelsen, Waylon Jennings and other Texas greats."

Search | Add | 2 | Harrison Karsch | Singer, drummer, and guitarist, Harrison Karsch is a multi-instrumentalist, who is constantly in search of his next musical challenge. A dynamic performer who is engaging at the front of the stage, as well as from behind, Harrison is an exciting young talent who is both inspiring and fun to watch. Drumming since the age of 6, Harrison decided to advance his level of performing in 2016, when he joined the School of Rock, Fort Washington, as part of their intensive Performance Program. Since that time, he has been a part of seven seasonal shows, including: Music and Film, Rolling Stones, Southern Rock, Woodstock, CBGB, Arena Rock, and Funk and Reggae. While at SOR, he's developed into a talented vocalist and front-man, while continuing to hone his drumming skills at Capella School of Music with instructor Paul Deck. Most recently he's begun learning guitar and is actively songwriting. Harrison has performed and commanded the stage in a number of popular venues, including the Hard Rock Cafe and World Cafe Live both in Philadelphia. Most notably, in 2017, Harrison was invited, twice, to New York City to audition for School of Rock on Broadway, and was invited for a final audition for the show's National Tour 2017-2018. When he's not performing with his fellow musicians at the School of Rock, you can catch Harrison rocking out with his band, Feedback featuring Philadelphia music icon, Tommy Conwell.

Search | Add | 2 | Eddie Carmel | Eddie Carmel (March 16, 1936 – August 14, 1972) was an entertainer with gigantism and subsequent acromegaly resulting from a pituitary adenoma. Popularly known as "The Jewish Giant", Carmel was billed at the height of 8 ft 9 in (268 cm) tall, though he may have more realistically been around 7 ft 6 ¾ in tall. At the time of his death at age 36, he had shrunk 6 ¾ inches, due to kyphoscoliosis (curvature of the spine, a mixture of scoliosis, and kyphosis, meaning hunchback). Carmel was born in Tel Aviv, to Jewish migrants Itzack and Miriam Carmel. He moved to the Bronx with his parents when he was a child. He was made famous by photographer Diane Arbus' picture Jewish Giant, taken at Home with His Parents in the Bronx, NY in 1970. Due to his condition, his primary work was in carnival sideshows including appearances at Hubert's Museum in Times Square and a few films such as 50,000 B.C. (Before Clothing) (1963), and The Brain That Wouldn't Die (1962).

Search | Add | 2 | Shirley Jester | Raised in a musical family - her father played in Arnold's Jazz Band downtown - she was playing the piano by the time she was 5. She had the ability to play anything by ear - almost instantly. While in high school at Our Lady of Angels in North College Hill, she began working part time as a staff pianist for WKRC-TV, going full time after her 1951 graduation. There, she played music for locally produced television shows. She also met George Palmer, who was then working at the station as a news anchor. The two were married in September 1962. At 25 she started playing in nightclubs, starting at the Coal Hole*, a popular club located in the now-defunct Sinton Hotel."Shirley did her homework. She made the Coal Hole a legitimate room," said Leo Underhill, former jazz disc jockey for WNOP. Over the next 40 years, Ms. Jester performed solo and with jazz groups all over Cincinnati and nationally. She had gigs at The Top of the Crown, in the former Clarion Hotel; the Iron Horse Inn in Glendale and at Kenwood Country Club.

In the year 1965 the orchestra took its first trip to a foreign country. Many exhibitions abroad followed then and the height was taking part in the festival in Norway in the year 1967. And just these qualities of the orchestra were the biggest reason for the origin of the festival FIJO Cheb. Václav Kucera and Jindrich Pravecek where among those who gave rise to this festival. When I have to name all countries which the orchestra have visited till this time I can not forget Austria, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Holland, Sweden, France, Switzerland USSR, Canada, Malaysia, China, etc. The orchestra achieved very big success in festival in Dijon, where it acquired the second place in the cathegory of adults, then in the festival in Haag, where it won the first prize. It recorded for Autria's televison and wireless and for the state's wireless in Norway. In competitons of the wind orchestras in Czechoslovakia it acquired the first place many times. In the year 1977 Mr. Kucera finished his activities in the orchestra and Mr. Novotný succeeded him. There were still very good results under his leading. Mr. Novotný finished his activity in the orchestra in the year 1989 and then after a 2-year-long pause when there was Mr. Eichler as the conductor, he came back and led the orchestra till 1994. In September 1994 the baton was undertaken by Mr. Smitek (graduate of the army conservatory and one of members of the orchestra in the past). Since the orchestra won a lot of competitions, the greatist was in 1999 three first place (concert, march and show contest), 2000 first place in show in Canada, in 2001 first place in Germany, in 2003 first place in Italy, silver sector in 2011 in Malaysia and gold sector in 2017 in USA. In order to process this wellspring of grief and difficulties, the West Tennessee multi-instrumentalist dove into his past, taking memories of lost loved ones, incarceration, and unconditional friendship and building them into the emotionally-charged self-titled debut. -Post-Punk.com
