Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Sweating heavy licks and glitter, this trio composed of Sam Gelernter (guitar), Ethan Schneider (drums), and Rachel Adler (bass) combines everything you ever loved about T-Rex and your dad singing in the shower, somehow birthing a glistening experiential medley you're gonna wanna dance to under the light of a full moon while you wait for your grubhub delivery."
| Search | Add | 2 | Fenderchet | Born in 1989, Jose Juan Silva (aka Fenderchet) started experimenting with MIDI-based recording programs at an early age. After his high school rock band called it quits he was left to his own devices. The results were staggering. Fenderchet references his local heroes Maseratti 2 litros as his initial motivation to do what he does. And if you want to break it down to what it really is, this is dreamy yet experimental pop music in both binary and organic forms. Expressing emotion via hardware can't be, and isn't an easy task. Fenderchet pulls it off gracefully. He wants you to listen to it when it rains. We think it works under the sun just as well. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Snekhoose | Snekhoose is a collaborative project between [a=Jonah Hebron] (aka [a=Mzungu], [a=Cacero Lazo]) and [a=Rupert Spurrier]. Conceived of as a blend between folk and drone, the forthcoming debut EP Oscar Pray for Oscar the Dog treads the line between electronic and traditional music. The manner in which the music has been created is unique. The instruments used in the album, an acoustic guitar and a Microkorg, are treated in the manner of musique concrete – as samples to be broken apart, split and assembled. As the artists live in separate cities, York and Edinburgh respectively, this manipulation was present at a digital level as the files were passed to and fro, each artist adding layers of sound on top of the others. These pieces were then supplemented by snippets of live performance recordings. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Altu Poimandres | (old Altú Págánach) | Altu Poimandres is a solo project whose origins trace back to the period between 1999 and 2001 under the name Urben Lord, initially associated with a raw, dark, and urban form of Black Metal. Between 2001 and the early 2000s, the project evolved into Altú Págánach, incorporating more ritualistic and ancestral elements rooted in pagan and occult themes. In 2025, the project assumed its current identity as Altu Poimandres, marking a shift from traditional Black Metal aesthetics toward a new conceptual direction referred to as Light Metal. This phase emphasizes a lighter, atmospheric, and introspective sound approach while maintaining a symbolic connection to esoteric traditions. The thematic foundation of Altu Poimandres is strongly influenced by Hermeticism, Alchemy, and High Occultism, drawing inspiration from the figure of Poimandres and the concept of inner transformation. The project’s narrative references the archetype of the “White Mage,” reflecting a symbolic ascent from shadow to illumination. Altu Poimandres functions as an independent artistic entity, focused on documenting its evolutionary stages through minimal, concept-driven recordings that follow the project’s ongoing metaphysical and sonic development. |

The self-titled album consists of two long-form pieces of droning mysticism hailing from the trio of Gruth (concept, production, electronics), Ellen Southern (vocals, field recordings, percussion) and Johanna Puuperä (violin, modular synthesizer, additional vocals).

| Search | Add | 2 | Auto Sacramental | Auto Sacramental is part of the dark new wave: a mix between defiant, cathartic pop synth, and experimental post punk. Auto Sacramental is the project of Jorge Mills, musician from Madrid based in Galicia, with influences ranging from synth-pop to postpunk and lyrics full of irony and political satire. In 2019 Auto Sacramental debuted with a digital EP produced by Guille Mostaza (El Último Vecino, Soledad Vélez) in which he explored the mystique of black Spain to a dance rhythm and which included the whiplash desynth-punk “Sierra Norte”, considered by media such as Jenesaispop a new alternative anthem. In 2021 he released his first album — Cuestión de fe — from which several singles were released, including “Vigilia” (an apocalyptic synth pop ballad together with the Madrid-based Caliza), “Demonología”, or “Segunda Venida”, with a video of the Galician filmmaker Javi Camino starring the Compostela artist Elba Souto. In 2023 they partner with Ferror Records and prepare their first LP: "Diario de la Plaga" (Ferror Records, 2024). | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Puma Jones | Sandra Jones | Sandra "Puma" Jones (October 5, 1953—January 28, 1990) was an American singer, best known as a member of the Grammy Award-winning reggae group Black Uhuru. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Jones graduated from Columbia University in New York City. She studied dance with the Chuck Davis troupe where she took a particular interest in African dance. After becoming disillusioned with city life she declared a need to "discover her roots" and moved to Jamaica. Deciding to build a singing career, Jones sang with the band Sons of Negus led by Ras Michael. In 1978, she was introduced by a mutual friend to Derrick "Duckie" Simpson, the leader of reggae group Black Uhuru. That group was undergoing a significant lineup change that also included the addition of singer Michael Rose. Jones became a full member of Black Uhuru and sang on seven studio albums, starting with Showcase in 1979 and also including the critically acclaimed Red in 1981 and Anthem in 1983. Jones was noted for adding lyrics on religious and social topics to Black Uhuru songs, during a period when reggae musicians were often accused of being trite and dismissive of women, and she was also known for. her haunting voice. Her last full album with the group was Brutal in 1986. Before sessions began for the album Positive in 1987, Jones was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had to withdraw from Black Uhuru and was replaced by singer [a15564051]. Jones returned to the United States for treatment and died at age 36 on January 28, 1990. She was buried near her family home in South Carolina. |
