Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026

Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Treetop Flyer Straight from the heart of Orange County, CA. Treetop Flyer has been playing their own brand of punk music since 2009. Their songs reflect on the people they've met and the places they've seen. Coming from a waning music scene, Treetop Flyer look to set themselves apart from a scene diluted with mediocrity. Blending sounds of punk, rock, pop and alternative, Treetop Flyer appeals to more than one type of audience. Their first full length album "Certain Somethings" breathes new life into the Orange County music scene. With gnarly guitars, rad vocal harmonies, and slamming drums, Treetop Flyer is establishing themselves as a must-see act.
Search Add 2 White Rabbit Band WHITE RABBIT BAND is a post punk / psychedelic rock band from Belgrade, Serbia. Back in the 1980s, it was the part of the new wave rock scene in former Yugoslavia. With just a couple of demo tapes floating around, in the period of 1983 to 1987, WHITE RABBIT BAND generated close to 100 live appearances, mostly in Belgrade, but also in Zagreb, Novi Sad, Sarajevo, Subotica, Niš, Rijeka, Vinkovci and other cities in the former Yugoslavia. WHITE RABBIT BAND was freequently seen on TV in 1986 and their single "1986!" was No. 5 on Sloba Konjovic's "Domestic top 10" list for 1986. After a prolonged hibernation, WHITE RABBIT BAND has risen again in 2013 with a new wave of energy and new loud shamanic vibration. Comeback concert tour and new recordings are planned for 2013/2014. Current members: Drak Nikodijević - bass, vocals Borko Petrović - drums Andrija Babović (ex-Visoki Napon) - guitar, vocals

Search Add 2 Luc Michalski Born in St.Paul, Minnesota on March 19, 1988, Brent and Chris Michalski's first born child. Lived on an Air Force base in England for first 2 years, then moved to Ellsworth Air Force Base in Southwest South Dakota until he was in 4th grade. At EAFB Luc spent most of his time playing by himself or playing street hockey with older boys. Taught himself to read at age 4. Went to Francis Case Elementary until moving 3/4 of the way through his 4th grade year when his father left the military to work for Boeing and moved to St. Charles. In St. Charles, Luc spent lots of time playing hockey until he was 16. Not much really happened until then. He attended Harvest Ridge Elementary, Barnwell Middle School and then Francis Howell North High School. Luc joined the cross country team his freshman year, where he met lots of friends. Then he started smoking a lot of weed, grew his hair long and quit cross country. After enjoying speed in late middle school, weed was Luc's new love. Then that was pretty much his first 2 years in high school. Then he quit for a while, and his church wanted him to come back because they liked his "positive influence", so they paid for him to go to a week long camp in Colorado. Him and a friend went to said camp, and smoke hellaz weed and alleged opium. Luc's parents read his internet conversations, found out about the trip, and sent him to Midwest Academy, a private boarding reform school, although he'd been clean for 3 months. Luc stayed there for 6 months and 11 days, until his 18th birthday. His parents almost sent him to a homeless shelter, and wanted him to graduate the program. He said fuck that and walked out. They took him home. He lived at home from march until june when he moved above lemp arts center until moving back home in September. Sometimes the lesser of two evils doesn't seem as evil. Then once his acne cleared (which it didn't really), he moved the fuck out and currently lives at the Skullfuckeree with dumbass bleached hair.

Search Add 2 Norman Skornicka Norman Skornicka (3/31/1916-10/13/1961) was one of three children of Albert and Julia (Kraynik) Skornicka of Denmark, WI. He took his first lessons from his father, who was self-taught on violin, clarinet and saxophone; and played clarinet and baritone saxophone for the Gosz Orchestra of the late 1930s. Notably, he recorded with Gosz in 1938 and 1939 for the Decca label, and served in the U. S. Army during WWII. In 1948, Norman purchased the Denmark Feed Mills and Elevator, which his father had founded in 1909. In the 1950s he played in several bands in the Manitowoc area, and was also a member of the Green Bay Symphonette. Norman Skornicka died of a heart attack in 1961, at the age of 45. One song that “Romy Gosz and his Old Time Band” recorded in 1938 was “After the Morning Waltz,” credited on the Decca release to Norman’s father, Albert Skornicka. (Later sheet music from Vitak-Elsnic lists Romy Gosz as the composer.) Interestingly, four other songs recorded at that August 3, 1938, session were credited to John Plocar, who was the father of the Gosz Band trumpeter, Rudy Plocar. Perhaps the tunes came from the two musicians’ fathers, or the composer credit was a way of honoring them.

Search Add 2 360band 360 is Malcolm ‘Molly’ Duncan (sax) Steve Ferrone (drums) and Hamish Stuart (guitar, bass and vocals): exactly one half of the original Average White Band. After the demise of the AWB in 1982, Steve joined Duran Duran: followed by a long spell with Eric Clapton. Steve subsequently became the drummer in Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers – where he has remained for the last 24 years! Molly has been much in demand as a session player and soloist all over Europe and has toured with the likes of Ray Charles, Buddy Guy and Eurythmics. Hamish joined Paul McCartney’s band in the late 80’s for 6 years of record-breaking world tours and 5 albums. He has since peppered his own solo career with US tours as part of Ringo’s All Starr’s – in addition to writing and touring with his own band and producing albums for an array of artists. In early 2014 Steve was inducted into the Drummer’s Hall Of Fame in LA. Molly and Hamish flew out to join up with a handful of stellar musicians to honour their old band mate and friend. All three clicked as if no time had passed since they’d last played together and enjoyed the experience so much that they vowed to do it again when schedules allowed. July 2015 provided the perfect window of opportunity. The guys were getting ready for a handful of sell out shows at Ronnie Scott’s and Edinburgh Queen’s Hall, when the offer to record an album materialized – so they returned to the recording studio to do what they do best. Molly and Steve each brought a song to the album and the rest is made up of a handful of songs from Hamish’s recent repertoire, plus a couple of classic covers. “Too Hip” is the final track on the album and an epic story about their friend and AWB’s original drummer: Robbie McIntosh, clocking in at seven minutes long. This reunion of three highly regarded musicians who have achieved so much together and separately, has produced a landmark album showcasing how their various talents have matured.

They met in Berlin in 2011 where Madsen was part of a couple of shows which Mayer curated. The friendship and their mutual fascination of old-school electro, new wave, post-punk, experimental, hip-hop and electro-funk became Sporty Jesus - a musical project born in the art-scene, alive on the club-scene.

Search Add 2 Lush Agave Alisha Erao Lush Agave is the project of classical vocalist and electronic musician Alisha Erao. Erao grew up in Florida studying classical voice and music technology at the University of Central Florida. Her interest in low-fidelity recording and early electronic music inspired her first experimentations with vocal samples and composition. Erao moved to New York City in 2008, forming the band Alligator Indian with Math Erao (Absolute Fantasy). The electronic pop duo released 3 albums with Bleeding Gold records. After relocating to Asheville, North Carolina in 2012, Erao co-founded a gallery/event space called Apothecary. It was in this environment that Lush Agave emerged from the idea to combine her passion for classical voice and its aesthetics with synthesizers and vocal sampling. Erao premiered her first piece “madame” here, which reimagines the aria “Un Bel Di Vedremo” from Puccini's Madame Butterly. The project continued to evolve in subsequent years, especially upon her brief return to Orlando where she recorded her debut EP, Songs for a Moon. Lush Agave became Erao’s attempt to bring the vulnerability and intensity of classical vocal genres into the zeitgeist. It is a means of merging her passion of technical practice with electronic and pop music, and to speak of her experience as a womxn in music. By sampling melodies, lyrics, or overall sentiments from her favorite arias and art songs, Lush agave evokes the aura of tragedy, beauty, and passion in the operatic tradition.
