These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

He has now decided to resume his musical career. Determined to keep this music alive with respect for sound and tradition, he still works exclusively with real musicians and the machines of the time. Chris’s music bears the hallmarks of Detroit’s legendary sound but also the sonic patchwork of his youth: Jazz, Motown, psychedelic rock, and 90’s punk rock. A diverse and dynamic musician, Chris has worked on all sides of the industry and brings an exceptional and historic perspective to everything he touches. A third-generation musician, he picked up saxophone and drums early in life. But he traded them in for a dirt bike as it appeared, he had a bright future in racing motocross ahead. Those plans were derailed in 1999 by a tragic racing accident. During his recovery a bright spot appeared when he discovered the rave movement, turntablism and deejaying. He immersed himself in the culture and soon rediscovered his love for creating music. The DIY spirit of dance music’s earliest innovators ran deep in Chris. As a son of an automotive industry electrical engineer, he began to tinker and solder together his own versions of classic drum machines and synths. As he learned to write dance floor moving beats, Chris also amassed an arsenal of kit. In 2012 he left his studio in Michigan behind for a fresh start in Brisbane, Australia. What he hasn’t left behind is his love for dance music. He continues to rock dance floors regularly and has quickly created a space for himself in the competitive Australian house and techno scene. His work with Let’s Get Minimal, IWTFA and local clubs has seen him light up the decks alongside such luminaries as Ray Kajioka, Tiefschwarz and Enrico Sangiuliano. | |

Zaslúžila sa o rozvoj a popularizáciu ukrajinského folklórneho umenia prostredníctvom nahrávok v Československej televízii a Československom rozhlase. Od roku 1964 spolupracuje s Brnenským rozhlasovým orchestrom ľudových nástrojov a Orchestrom ľudových nástrojov Čs. rozhlasu v Bratislave, s ktorými vytvorila nejednu úspešnú nahrávku a absolvovala mnohé zahraničné zájazdy. Okrem rusinských ľudových piesní má v svojom repertoári aj piesne šarišské a zemplínske, ale aj piesne zo Podkarpatskej Rusi. Za tridsaťročnú záslužnú umeleckú prácu získala Mária Mačošková v roku 1978 titul vzorná pracovníčka kultúry a v roku 1985 titul zaslúžilá umelkyňa. --- Заслужена артистка Марія Мачошко працює солісткою хору Піддуклянського умелецкого народного ансамблю русиньського національного театру в Пряшеві від 1956 року. Належить до основоположників ансамбля. Своєю довгорічною художньою працею і надзвичайним талантом досягла високого рівня інтерпретації народних пісень. Успішно репрезентувала українське фольклорне мистецтво майже в цілій Європі, в США та Канаді. Songs wrote themselves, piling up on their bedroom floors. The duo moves between indie-folk and dream-pop. At times broad and spherical, at times intimate and quiet, softly plucked guitars sit beside drums and a synthesizer. A balancing act that the band masters effortlessly. What unites each of the songs are the haunting harmonies, delicate melodies and choruses that get stuck in your head. ‘Alas The Sun’ released their debut album ‘You And Your Love’ in the fall of 2019. | |
