Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Seymour DeKoven | From Wikipedia: "Seymour DeKoven (25 November 1903 – 29 October 1984), generally known simply as DeKoven, was a United States classical music radio personality of the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and early 1980s. Because of his penchant for mixing short musical segments with enthusiastic commentary, he could be called a "classical music disk jockey." His unique style was utterly different from that of any popular-music disk jockey, but was also worlds apart from the dignified manner of other classical radio notables such as Robert J. Lurtsema of WGBH, Boston, and Robert Conrad of WCLV, Cleveland. He played exclusively music of the baroque and rococo eras. He is identified with the word "barococo" in reference to music of that time, a coinage that became familiar and understood, but was never widely adopted. In his obituary, The New York Times called him "passionately opinionated." In the U. S. prior to the 1960s, baroque music was known mostly to musicians and scholars, and was relatively unfamiliar to the general classical listening audience. DeKoven's broadcasts coincided with what is sometimes referred to as the "1960s baroque revival," a sharp rise in popular interest in the music." | |

He studied piano and organ in Florence under the guidance of Robert Pichini and attended the masterclasses of Paul von Schilhawsky (Director Emeritus of the Salzburg Mozarteum) on piano performance practice in the lieder repertoire. Alessandro Magini graduated with honors in Musical Dramaturgy from the University of Bologna under the direction of Lorenzo Bianconi and Thomas Walker and in composition from the Conservatory of Bologna with Alessandro Solbiati. Subsequently he graduated with honors the Advanced Course in Composition of the International Music Academy of Novara. He also attended master classes and seminars with F. Donatoni, A. Clementi, G. Petrassi, N. Castiglioni, G. Manzoni, G. Ligeti, L. Berio. He has given a great number of concerts as a piano accompanist as well as an organist. As a composer and researcher Alessandro Magini focuses on the relationship between music and experimental theater. In 1999 he obtained the chair of Musical Dramaturgy and Musicology at the National Academy of Dramatic Art in Rome (where he has been teaching since then) and intensified his activities in music composition for theater (collaborating with directors such as Josè Sanchez Sinisterra, Piotr Fomenko, Marcello Bartoli as weel as with the Teatro Metastasio Stabile of Tuscany, Laboratory Riuniti, Rome). | Search | Add | 3 | swwwarm | Darko Vukić | Darko Vukić, Serbia-born and Vienna-based, is a sonic practitioner working as sava zolog, kraftt ebbingg, and more. Its work explores experimental electronica, deep drone, and psychoacoustic minimalism with a focus on speculative, process-driven sound art. Emerging from the post-Yugoslav zone of sonic unmaking, Vukic’s practice draws on a fractured memoryscape where personal mythology, noise poetics, and soft circuitry converge. As sava zolog, it explores digital ephemera, cut-up affect, and sensorial glitch. Under the kraftt ebbingg moniker, the focus shifts toward ritualistic soundscapes and dark ambient narrative sequences that resemble sonic exorcisms—somatic and archival. Its compositions often unfold like anti-architectures, favoring entropy over form and vibration over harmony. Released through underground labels and performed in hybrid venues, Vukic’s output resonates across both club and gallery contexts—never fully settling into either. Darko is also active in research-led projects connecting sound with speculative theory, body politics, and machine ritualism. It frequently collaborates with visual artists, dancers, and AI systems, invoking modular improvisation as a generative tool for disorientation. |
| Search | Add | 3 | Legend Revisited | LEGEND (18) was a classic 70s proggy metal band that released one album, "From The Fjords". Original member Ray Frigon set out to reform the band, but guitar player Kevin Nugent is sadly no longer with us. Legend was asked to play in Europe and contacted Janne Stark about handling the guitar. Unfortunately Janne was busy with Overdrive and Falling Hazard at the time and had to turn the offer down. Instead his friend Martin J Andersen (Blindstone, Walter Trout etc) came in on guitar. The gigs however never happened because of Covid. Ray had become a born again Christian and wanted to re-record some of the old material with new lyrics as LEGEND REVISITED, featuring Martin on guitar. The bass spot was free as original bass player Fred Melillo was not in the picture. Instead the spot was filled by Janne Stark. In 2023 they started recording the album that was entitled "From The Lord". In June 2024 the album saw the light of day | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Catherine Thelamon | Originally from Diamant in Martinique, she has known from an early age (5 years) that her life would be devoted to music. At the age of 8, she made her first scene at a school party and continues to participate in many school and municipal events. The first springboard is then announced: “The talent race” organized by RFO Martinique. From the age of 16, it was with the birth of the first album "An ti rimontan" that she touched the hearts of young and old. She then flew to Paris to continue her studies and pursue her musical career and then met Georges Decimus and Jeff Joseph who offered her to join the group Volt-face after their first album created by [a=Patrick Saint-Eloi], [a=Georges Decimus] (co-founder of the KASSAV group') and [a=Jeff Joseph] (Grammacks). It was his arrival in the group that crystallized their desire to continue the Volt-Face adventure. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Yvan Acosta | Edison Yvan Acosta | Yvan Acosta is a Dominican musician and producer who, alongside his brother Raul Acosta “El Presidente”, formed the internationally acclaimed merengue band Oro Sólido. Born in Barahona, Dominican Republic on July 30, 1965, Yvan was born into a musical family. His father Rafael “Santo” Acosta was a percussionist. And he and his younger brothers Rafael and Raul started a pre-adolescent music group called "Los Sobrinos Del Rey" a Dominican version of the Jackson 5. With this early experience, Yvan was able to further develop his innate musical talent as well as his stage presence. The group went on to perform in two nationally televised shows on the government TV station, channel four, for a show called "Amarillis con los Niños.” As a teen, the family relocated to the United States. With no English skills, Yvan moved to Union City, New Jersey to start his new life. During his high school days at Emerson High School, Yvan began performing güira with local bands, such as “Los Quisqueyanos”, “Kennedy y sus Generales”, merengue singer Fauto Rey and “Willy y El Grupo”. He later begain his studies in music and bass guitar by joining Kennedy's Music World, a local music studio, school, and store, where he met a teacher named Kennedy Cortina. Throughout his 30-year career, Yvan has recorded and performed with Oro Solido. His bass is the original sound that made the group famous, and he is considered a trailblazer for implementing this style of merengue on the bass when the group was founded in 1994. He continues to perform with the group internationally and is well respected in the Latin music industry. |

| Search | Add | 3 | G Is Us | G is Us, a rough band of self proclaimed “Super Hero’s” and “Rock Stars”, combines electronic beats with hard hitting metal guitar lines, rocking drums, punk and metal bass lines, and vocals that sound like your mom. This collection of “Suburban Ninja Rockers”, as they call their unique style of music, are popular not only for their silly and serious songs, but for their unique live shows, complete with a circuit bend Speak and Spell, a Nintendo, a thermin mounted on a skateboard, and many other off the wall wacky devices. Audiences enjoy the fact that the band welcomes interacting with them before, during and after songs, inciting banter, and an occasional on stage wrestling match. The band, led by Spookyboy and founded in early 2002, recorded a 4 track demo with only a Yahmaha DJ box and vocals. And it was in the pursuit of this demo that the Snack Time decided to sign on as bass player. Shortly after that they signed on a guitarist, and recorded the 7 track demo “Rock Stars love Us” or “20 Minutes to Failure” in late 2002. They added a seasoned Latin jazz drummer, Professa’E, in the first days of 2003, after which continued playing shows all over Sonoma County, including the very first show at the Burton Center in Rohnert Park. After the departure of their original guitarist later that year, the band regrouped, adding a new guitarist, Lenry, and the female vocalist, Cami Cat, to take over the electronics. G is US is currently recording a full length album expected to be released in late 2004, all the while continuing to play shows, and bringing their unique style of music to the masses! | |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Gary Cooper Combo | Gary Cooper was from the beginning a Lars Mertanen (now Kranz) solo project after the Iguana Foundation. Harry Byrnes (Electric Garden) who had released Iguana Foundation on record thought Lars should start playing live, so Pelle Strandberg who sang in Iguana Foundation took the drums, Iggo (from Kitchen & the Plastic Spoons) took the bass, and Mats Hellqvist (later bob hund) took the solo guitar. Lars wrote most of the songs, sang and played some guitar. The name Gary Cooper was filled with Combo. Pelle left after just a few gigs, but was replaced by Mats' brother Martin on drums. He was in for about three years, hoping to leave when he was expecting children, then replaced by Mats Andersson (Zoo, bob hund). Mats Hellqvist was in for about one and a half years, he would rather play bass and started Apa, Epa and later bob hund. John Essing took over the solo guitar and the last year, Per Ulander also featured on violin, harmonica and guitar. Two singles and one LP were released by Harry before the band split after about four years. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Minus. | Minus is a sign of the changing times... And their time is now. Minus will not be ignored. After spending the last couple years gigging endlessly throughout New England, the boys have developed a style all their own, best displayed on their new EP "Care Factor: Zero." Tracks like, "Idiot Me" and "Relapse" stand out as very well written tunes that play over and over again in your head. Minus's single, "First Stone Cast" has been receiving consistent college air-play and the band has been recognized by major radio stations as a front-runner in the area's music scene. Minus has shared the stage with many of the biggest metal bands to grace the East Coast. The list of bands reads like a major tour, with such names as Massachusetts's newest upstarts Reveille (Elektra), New York's hard-core kings, Biohazard (Mercury.) and OzzFest '99 performers like Drain STH (Mercury), Static X (Atlantic), and Puya (MCA). Minus has been described by C.M.J. Magazine as a ".post-apocalyptic groove-core motherf#@ker." and by The New Haven Advocate as ".melodically charged, intensely emotional hard-core." Minus's style appeals to a diverse crowd, as fans of all ages faithfully show their support. To say they take control of a crowd would be a harsh understatement. The energy that pours out of Minus is intense and has to be witnessed to truly be appreciated. Whether you like music that kicks your ass with immediate hard-core abandon, or trippy grooves that drench your mind like an infectious resin, Minus will deliver. | |

Through their own funds PRO-DEATH was able to record a self titled CD-R in late 2000 that was sold only at shows. After playing with Mortician at the Whisky A Go Go, PRO-DEATH was able to release a 3 inch CD-R entitled "Drowning in Discord". This album was comprised of mostly Black Ambient tracks and had two live songs from the sold out show with MORTICIAN. This album was also limited and sold only at shows. Through it all Pro-Death always managed to donate all their funds to support the stop of animal testing. PRO-DEATH has been crushing and destroying its audience since 1995 with harsh noise and visuals. With its hatred for humanity they Toured and played with many bands like CATTLE DECAPITATION, MORTICIAN, VADER, PIGFACE, BRUJERIA, ASESINO, IMMOLATION, UPHILLBATTLE, The BERZERKER,IMMOLATION, Strapping Young Lad, DEICIDE and lots of local bands.. | |
