Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 5 | Stuffed Spider | Matt Parish | Built on years of mucking around with rickety tape recorders, B-movie synth sounds, crusty guitar strings, and phantom rehearsal spaces, the music of Stuffed Spider exists in a kind of time warp. It layers decades-old recordings between sheets of electronic melody, tactile guitar work and squelching synths. The result is dark patchwork of instrumental collage, drawing inspiration from opposite ends of the musique concrete spectrum (Pierre Shaefer to Kid Koala), ghostly horror film music, and busted old slabs of industrial noise. Boredoms. Burial. Bartók. After a few years of lowkey collaborations with artist friends on the East Coast and Nashville, Stuffed Spider's first full recording Secret Speech is set for release on November 6. The album – released digitally on Bandcamp and in limited edition cassette tape – crawls through a layered history of post-revolution unease, wandering through echoes of Soviet insecurity, reeducation dogma, religious consumerism, Western identity crises, and, naturally, decay. A member of '00s noise-rock group Ho-Ag, Parish has performed across the US and Europe with groups like Daughters, Deerhoof, Melvins, Melt-Banana, HEALTH, Dan Deacon, Wolf Eyes, Nautical Almanac, Pile and many many more. |

Search | Add | 5 | Kristina Renée | Kristina Renée Saugstrup | Kristina Renée is a singer and songwriter from Copenhagen, Denmark. Participated in a competition on the Facebook page of [a316085] to cover one of her songs. Kristina Renée's cover was voted the best by fans, and the prize was to play live at a concert with [a316085]. Kristina Renée was spotted by her manager [a1626849] at this concert in 2010. Kristina Renée performed at different venues in 2011, played three songs at the annual SPOT festival, and played support for [a358037] and [a747927] in [l355823]. The EP "[r=13984237]" was released in 2012 when Kristina Renée was 25 years old. This EP consists of electropop with intensely present and personal vocals inspired by [a747927] and singer-songwriters, such as [a316085]. She returned to SPOT festival in the same year to play a full concert based on her EP. The full-length album "[r=13693827]" was released in 2013, which consists of indie pop as a development of Kristina Renée's personal and slightly melancholic EP. In the same year, she performed at the SPOT, Smukfest and NorthSide festivals, and played support at [l270767]. The single "[r=13983886]" was released in 2014, and Kristina Renée played support for [a2870871] in [l355823] in the same year. A full-length album with the same title as the single should have been released in 2015, but this did not happen. Instead, the EP "[m=1579972]" was released in 2015. Despite favorable reviews in Denmark and fan support, Kristina Renée did not gain great or international fame with her debut album. |

Search | Add | 5 | Marco Burgatto | Marco Burgatto | Italian musician and composer, born 21 December 1975 in Milan, Italy. Marco's musical career evolved quite rapidly following an early, illuminating approach to guitar - his first-choice instrument - in a gone-by hot summer. After some years spent in steadily refining his playing skills, in 1997 he started his involvement as a session musician on four studio albums by rock group 'Loverwolf', culminating in a long series of live performances in clubs all around Italy. Already gained, by that time, a higher degree of guitar mastery, he made a decisive breakthrough towards new musical experiences by pushing into the background performing, and devoting himself to composing. Starting from 2001 on, he scored several works by directors Cristian Mazzola and Raffaele Piscitelli; in the meanwhile, he completed his first video clip, "Pioggia" (2002), which eventually resulted in the release of the homonym double concept album in 2003. Also in 2003, he released the mini CD "Dall’Inizio Alla Fine", including three short poems set to music using classical tunes, while, the following year, he found the right combination of time, inspiration and energies to complete his second full-length album, "Fantasmi". The growing importance of classical music in Marco's compositions led to the landmark release of the symphony "Giornata In Campagna" (2005) on [url=http://www.discogs.com/label/Fridge+Records+%282%29]Fridge Records[/url], followed - that same year - by his third full-length album "L’Eroe Della Notte". But the time was ripe for more ambitious goals, which materialized with the release of his first rock opera, "Il Castello In Mezzo Al Mare" (2007), followed by the album "Il Canto Del Vento" (2008) - featuring prestigious guest performances by [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Angapiemage+Galiano+Persico]Angapiemage Persico[/url], Stefano Tessadri, [a=Ubi Maior]'s rhythm section, 'The Real', and [a=Stefano Tamiazzo]. In the following couple of years, he brought to completion an out-and-out trilogy by releasing two more rock operas, "Il Rovescio Della Medaglia" (2009) and "La Sottile Linea" (2010). As a fringe activity - from 2003 to date - he's been creating commercial jingles, soundtracks and scores for several production studios and, more recently, for the online soundtrack and advertising music library "Unusual Library". Marco's later projects include the re-recording of "Giornata In Campagna" (2011) - with the support of a bunch of talented classical music performers -, and his new album "Epica" (2012), available for download from iTunes Store and other online digital music stores. |

Search | Add | 5 | Zonophone | Zonophone is a musician who works with sound samples from records and self-recorded instruments to produce "new meaning" to the original sounds. The Zonophone project aims at approaching music as an art project, where texture, ambiance and repetition is at the heart of his production method. Although sample-based, the music retains an organic quality to sculpt the different soundscapes. Zonophone has been active since 2003, and through his different albums, touches themes of politics, culture, society and the rhythms of modern life.

Search | Add | 5 | Jason Eli | Music producer & DJ Jason Eli began his career in the 1990's, fuelled by a love for making people dance and a desire to explore musical genres from House, Soul & Jazz to Afro-Beat, Hip-Hop, Funk and beyond. From humble beginnings as a kid growing up in London watching his older musician cousins play live music in their loft, he progressed to learning how to play keyboards, tinkering with music studio equipment and finally create his own music. His musical style of the time was a blend of House Latin, Soul & Jazz. He held a four year DJ residency at Ministry of Sound from 1992 to 1996. He’s toured with legends like Techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson, ex Studio 54 resident Kenny Carpenter, Todd Terry, Norman Jay, DJ Harvey and many more. In the late 1990's he founded Groovadelica Records. Groovadelica later expanded into becoming a successful radio show and club event.
