Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 5 | Warred | Warred was founded in 2012 by young band members and long time friends Arthur Ernandes and Rodrigo Andrade. They both shared the same passion for old school metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest and more, they formed a band pursuing the fiery and furious sound of the old guard, bringing that to the modern times back then. The band began recording their debut EP ‘Wild Legion’ in 2013, but feeling their music needed more time to shape its style, it took a few years from that to come back with a stable line up consisting of Pedro Mion (vocals), Arthur Ernandes (guitar), Rodrigo Andrade (guitar), Jorge Nascimento (drums) and Espiga (bass). This is the lineup who recorded two singles “Beneath The Sea” and “Where I Belong” in 2019 and now coming with a brand new song “Behind The Mask” that is featured on the band’s first ever video. The band is now in process of songwriting for their debut record which is due to be recorded and released in Q4 2020. It fuses its old school style with their new found influences such as Gojira, Mastodon, Opeth and more, but all band members have different musical backgrounds such as hardcore, punk and more. With that said, the debut album will come with an unique and constant evolving sound. Warred was also, in part time, an Iron Maiden cover band. The guys in Warred not only payed its tribute to one of the biggest bands in history, but also did it with so much maestry that the band began to being noticed in cover festivals around Sao Paulo and won a major championship of cover bands by unanimty from a body of highly specialized jurors, giving the band the right of being the resident band of some reputable and internationally recognized night clubs in Sao Paulo such as Blackmore.

Search | Add | 5 | Hauntissimo | Funs Chung | Hauntissimo is a one-man music project by Snuf starting from 2013. He had done a short live show that year, but, as he recalled, was a nightmare. In the early 2017, he picked up his old demos and reworked again. He replaced real bass guitar with samplings and decided to digitalize everything to make things easier to control. With his long-time listening to the Ruins and Merzbow in the meantime, he blended some lo-fi noisy synthesizers, drum loops with irregular time signature, plus minimal melodic bass-riffs together. After that, during the same year in September, he self-released his debut self-titled EP. |

Search | Add | 5 | Skii Harvey | Skii Harvey | Australian singer/songwriter Skii with her sultry, sassy voice has been likened to a cross between Tina Turner and Ella Fitzgerald. Skii is a life long singer/songwriter. She began her career huddled over an old upright piano squeezed into her mother’s small semi in Redfern, Sydney Australia, where their tiny porch had been converted into a makeshift bedroom. Like many artists she worked a couple of jobs by day and the gig circuit by night. Her voice has stopped the likes of Sting and Ricky May but it is her song writing that has brought her to the attention of the Billboard music awards, the UK songwriting awards, Best Song at the Australian Songwriter’s Association, Song of the Year and as a producer’s choice in the LA music awards. "Standing for a Fall" is the latest album from Skii, following her 2016 EP “Don’t Look Back”: "This album is like a one woman protest. It’s an anthem for those standing up despite the threat of a fall. It’s about having no fear and being ready. Being ready to fight.” “Bound By History” was Skii’s triumphant 3rd album. Her first Album “Uncompromising” and her critically acclaimed second album “Foolish Girl” can also be found on Itunes. |
Search | Add | 5 | N∆EON TE∆RDROPS | Per Martinsen | NAEON TEARDROPS is a new artist alias from Norwegian techno and electronica veteran Per Martinsen, mostly known under his techno and elecronic guise MENTAL OVERDRIVE. Stepping out of his familiar instrumental electronic productions and into vocal-based songwriting, N∆EON TE∆RDROPS explore influences of the synthpop and darkwave of his formative years, while aiming to put these influences into a more contemporary context. The debut album TESTIMONY was released in September 2023, and contained 10 tracks flirting with alternative electropop, echoes of eighties darkwave, breakbeat-fuelled nineties power-ballads and noughties electronica – all brought to life with a 2023 twist. The music of NAEON TEARDROPS was born out of the storytelling project PYRAMIDS ON THE MOON – a fictional autobiography in three parts where he explores three alternative timelines of his own life, and where each of his three imagined personalities create music under different artist aliases. PYRAMIDS ON THE MOON is still an ongoing project, where the most recent texts are exclusive to those supporting the project on Patreon. |

Search | Add | 5 | Валера Коротин | Валерий Коротин | Author, Composer in Shanson Genre.

Search | Add | 5 | JP Maurice | Jean-Paul Maurice | “Big change is coming” is JP Maurice’s anthemic promise to anyone who has seen their share of adversity. The seasoned Vancouver based musician, songwriter and producer knows the highs of his craft, but it’s in the lows where he finds his fire – taking the fuel of failed record deals, broken hearts, and the loss of loved ones and forging the pain into something beautifully optimistic. After touring Canada, Europe, and then taking home 2nd place in the PEAK Performance Project radio contest in 2015, a loss in the family turned Maurice mostly inwards, where he focused on channeling his emotions into his art. Investing in a world-class studio in Vancouver has allowed for late night collaborations, producing other artists, and creating endless song ideas. A direct result was the Girls EP, released in January 2017, which sweeps from cinematic pop-noir into slinky neo-soul, all tied together with Maurice’s powerfully emotive vocals. It’s a modern sound that captures timeless sentiments – love, loss, and the twists and turns in between. 2018 Kicked off with Maurice’s national TV debut as a featured artist on CTV’s The Launch, where he performed “Shapeshifter” live in front of industry big-wigs and over 1 million Canadian viewers. The follow up to the Girls EP was the aptly titled Boys LP, released in the spring of 2018. Picking up where the Girls EP left off, Boys has a more optimistic tone and evolves into a new sound for Maurice with flecks of alt country and roots rock embedded in the album. Since then, Maurice has immersed himself in working on his forthcoming album Pressure Makes Diamonds; set to be his most personal endeavor to date by taking on co-production duties alongside music industry veteran Ted Gowans (The Rentals, Tegan and Sara, Kehsa). The album is slotted to be released in 2020 and will coincide with Maurice’s plans to embark on a European tour. |

Born: 3 August 1984 in Atlanta, GA, USA Never professionally trained in music, Denardo Lee Gastin raised himself, around Arts and Entertainment since childhood, especially around music. Growing up, he was listening to various Liberian music, but also cited earlier influences, such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Michael Jackson, house music, East Coast Underground Hip Hop, and the late 1990s/early 2000s Nu Metal & Rap Rock scene, as contributes to his style. Following the footsteps of his late father who was also a musician, he started writing music lyrics in 2000, at the age of 15, but wasn't recorded on Audio until 2008, only using an MP3 player over licensed instrumentals, during a 2008-2009 period of being a rapper on MySpace. Surviving recordings of his rap music, still exist on his Reverbnation page. By 2011, he re-emerged as an instrumentalist, recording his first 2 instrumentals, but didn't return to music again, until 2015, after now solely recording music from his iPad Pro, with various music applications, that made it easier for him. By 2018, he finally released his 1st album, "Here Ye, Here Ye! (Vol. 1)" on his 34th birthday that year. DLG's musical style is very eclectic, ranging from Electronic, House, Hip Hop, Acid Jazz, Minimal, Shibuya-Kei, Afrobeat, and Latin. |

Search | Add | 5 | Current b-lectric | Benas Buivydas | The Current b-lectric is the main sound project of Benas Buivydas (a.k.a. b-), a sound explorer from Lithuania. The project consists of various experiments with modular synths, tape loops, noise boxes, field recordings, mangled samples, and whatnot. Despite the ever-changing experimental nature of the sounds, there is an underlying feeling of darkness and melancholy. Despite the occasionally appearing rhythms the music is trying to evoke a dreamlike state; its recordings feature ambient loops, detached monologue samples, various field recordings, etc. One thread connecting all recordings is the use of various body parameters (like heartbeat pulse or breath) to automate part of the recording process: opening/closing of filters, filling in additional percussion elements, panning in the stereo field, or controlling the volume of some particular part. This feature makes the artist himself part of the electrical current, hence the name Current b-lectric. |

He chose to collaborate with Myo in a song titled Rock N’ Roll Sampai Mati, which soon became the theme song for Myo’s popular travel show Ride Hensem. The chemistry between them was so good that both men agreed to transform Jameson Project into supergroup Jemson, a playful “Malayisation” of Jameson. With its strong connection to sea-shanties, Celtic, Irish and Scottish folk music, well influenced by Karmøys culture as a community of seafarers, they have built up a audience friendly style and sound through the use of traditional instruments, fused seamlessly with bass and drums. This, along with charismatic lead singers and an energetic and dynamic 20-piece choir creates an energy and presence that makes a breathtaking performance for their audience and led them to a impressing 3rd place in the national TV - competition Norway's Got Talent in 2015.

Search | Add | 5 | De Confidence | Anthony McCarthy. | AKA Anthony & De Confidence. De Confidence is an art collective founded p by West Cork artist Anthony McCarthy ca 1987. Membership of the collective has over the years included: Dan Hallissey (AKA Crafty Dan) (keyboards), Giordai Ua Laoghaire (ex Nun Attax, Microdisney, Soon, etc) (guitar), Liam Murphy (Black Velvet Band) (guitars, keyboards), Barry Nolan (AKA Son of Lir) (keyboards), Liam Shanahan (keyboards), Arty Lorrigan (drums, percussion), and female singers Tara Woolridge, Lara Ewusoho and Neasa de Bearoid (Hidden Fears). Anthony lists the Virgin Prunes, Ivor Cutler and Yello among his influences. His vocals are like spoken word performances. An earlier project named Anthony & The Alcoholics was abandoned after the "Music For Suffering Ducks" project (circa 1984) and the Kuckoo single (1985). De Confidence rarely played outside Cork. The live show reputedly includes music, mime, spoken word, projected images, light effects, etc, i.e. a multi-media approach. There are also several videos. In 1988 they did a 3 city tour under the name Anthony & De Confidence which included Triskel Arts Center, Cork, the Irish Film Institute in Dublin and Covent Garden Community Centre in London. This tour was organised and promoted in the hope of stirring record company interest in the band but nothing concrete came of it apart from one unsatisfactory offer. Another notable performance was at the Pacific Circle Music Convention in Sydney, Australia in 1997. Anthony is still active and has released quite a body of work over 20+ years on his own Kings Union imprint, and two self-published books (Maymount Books), but with zero distribution to speak of these items are very difficult to get hold of. More details can be found on his myspace page -- see external links below. Anthony's books to date are "Driving My Car" (2001) and "The Rise and Fall of Billy the Blob" (2005), both published by MayMount. |
