Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 6 | MadaM MonoM | MadaM MonoM started to make beautiful chiptune electro music in November 2011 with the album "Level I". The specific quality of MadaM MonoM is the striking unique sound and that she needs just one vintage computer or video game console to produce an interesting extensive album. In any case an extraordinary woman artist. As MadaM MonoM would say: "Let's reach the next LeveL".

Search | Add | 6 | Slave Kamp | "Alabama's most controversial rap group" Slave Kamp was created by GMAN (Geoffrey Robinson) in ’93 and started off with JQ (Jarvis Qualls), Whyze Up (Sean Alexander), Laylo (Terrance Casey), and D.J. 7-11 (Johann Robinson). This number grew “Wu-Tang style” over the next couple of years as other underground lyricists and producers from Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia began supporting and performing with group. A family was born, and by 1996, the Kamp’s music was being played all over Alabama via mix tapes, demos, and their first full length underground tape, which included the instant underground hit “Us vs. Them”. Slave Kamp’s sound is southern cooked with a unique flavor. The music and the message speaks for itself. Those who listen primarily to the beats will automatically be hooked to the bass driven tracks complimented by the original (no samples) sounds of southern blues/jazz/soul inspired music. Heads who peep out the lyrics will no doubt be impressed by, not only the skills of these talented poets, but the overall positivism of the group's message.

They are also owner of No Fear records After playing as a live act or DJs in many important events in Canada, Czech Republic and France during 3 years NOIRDEGOUT create his own label called NO FEAR RECORDS on December 2005. The first release on this label is an EP made by NOIRDEGOUT themselves and called FIRST ASSAULT EP . Great surprise, this records was RECORDS OF THE MONTH" on French music magazine "TRAX"! (and remixed by famous French producer SCAN X), but was also NUMBER ONE ON DAVE CLARKE'S PLAYLIST , played by Laurent Garnier, Fabrice Lig, Vince Watson, Paul Nazca... !!! The SECOND SHOT EP is also a success, and, as the "first assault", this record is NUMBER 1 ON DAVE CLARKE'S PLAYLIST with the track "Consumed" but also number 7 in this chart with the track "Sharks Bay" !!! The THIRD WAY EP was a melodic and emotional EP, deeper than their first releases. The NOIRDEGOUT releases, Live-act , and DJ set were a mix of many influences like Detroit techno (Kenny Larkin, Underground Resistance, Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson & Derrick May), Electro (Anthony Rother, Arpanet ), German techno (Heiko Laux, Johaneis Heil, Beroshima) ,and of course the French techno sounds of Laurent Garnier , Vitalic, The hacker and many mores!!! After some other releases were published on Initial cut & White noise records (Dave Clarke's label) The duo no longer exists now. |

Since then he is heard and seen in clubs and at festivals as Disko Dario. In his sets Disko Dario cares little about what’s hot or not. He is loyal to his inspiration and to his personal style. Although kept technoid and minimal his sound has a gripping warmth. Glittering colors and melancholic tons accompany his compositions that wrap you up and carry you straight into the land of dreams. |

Originally known as Electric Dog Sex they gigged around Central and North London between 1987 and 1989 before changing their name to Delta Angel following much interest in their latest, more dance orientated demo. They signed to Profile following advice from One Little Indian that they were unable to sign them for six months or so due to their involvement with the Shamen - and that band's interest in Profile UK led them to believe that it would be a fruitful partnership. It wasn't. They recorded one album - Silhouette - which turned out to be a fair reflection of their live sound but were not given either the time or budget to really experiment in the studio. They didn't submit any further tracks to Profile. Vocals, Guitar, songwriting, programming and production: Dominic Peel Keyboards: Carol Hayward Bass: Mark Handley |

Search | Add | 6 | Aldo Palazzeschi | Aldo Giurlani | Aldo Palazzeschi. 2 February 1885 – 17 August 1974) was the pen name of Aldo Giurlani, an Italian novelist, poet, journalist and essayist. He was born in Florence to a well-off, bourgeois family, and studied accounting and acting before he published his first book of poetry, I cavalli bianchi (in English, The White Horses) in 1905, using his maternal grandmother's surname, Palazzeschi, as a pseudonym. After meeting Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, he became a fervent Futurist. However, he was never entirely ideologically aligned with the movement and had a falling out with the group over Italy's involvement in World War I, which he opposed. His "futurist period" (roughly the 1910s) was a very fecund time in which he published a series of works that cemented his reputation. Most notable of these is his novel Il codice di Perelà (translated into English as Man of Smoke) published in 1911. During the interwar era, his productivity lessened, as he became involved in journalism and other pursuits. Also during this time, he was a notable anti-Fascist. He returned with a series of novels in the late sixties and early seventies that resecured his place in the new, post-war avant-garde. He died in 1974 in his apartment in Rome. Today he is often considered an important influence on later Italian writers, especially those of the neoavanguardia in both prose and verse. His work is well noted by its "grotesque and fantastic elements" |

Search | Add | 6 | Stuffed Spider | Matt Parish | Built on years of mucking around with rickety tape recorders, B-movie synth sounds, crusty guitar strings, and phantom rehearsal spaces, the music of Stuffed Spider exists in a kind of time warp. It layers decades-old recordings between sheets of electronic melody, tactile guitar work and squelching synths. The result is dark patchwork of instrumental collage, drawing inspiration from opposite ends of the musique concrete spectrum (Pierre Shaefer to Kid Koala), ghostly horror film music, and busted old slabs of industrial noise. Boredoms. Burial. Bartók. After a few years of lowkey collaborations with artist friends on the East Coast and Nashville, Stuffed Spider's first full recording Secret Speech is set for release on November 6. The album – released digitally on Bandcamp and in limited edition cassette tape – crawls through a layered history of post-revolution unease, wandering through echoes of Soviet insecurity, reeducation dogma, religious consumerism, Western identity crises, and, naturally, decay. A member of '00s noise-rock group Ho-Ag, Parish has performed across the US and Europe with groups like Daughters, Deerhoof, Melvins, Melt-Banana, HEALTH, Dan Deacon, Wolf Eyes, Nautical Almanac, Pile and many many more. |
