Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 6 | Rushnychok | РУШНИЧОК | Ukrainian-Canadian band from Lachine (Quebec) active from 1969 to 1980. Four male singers, accompanied by electric guitars, percussion and accordion, they were one of the first "Beatle-esque" groups from Canada. The accordion has a special place and preserves a traditional flavour in dance pieces such as waltzes, tangos, rhumbas, fox-trots, hopaks and other Ukrainian dances. The more contemporary pieces in the Anglo-American style are dominated by guitars and percussion. The tonality of the voices is anglicized, yet the harmony remains traditional and the tempos, dynamic and rapid. Finally, the rhythmic effects are emphasized by accentuated off-beat rhythms. The group released 5 albums. Andrij Harasymowycz - Vocals, Guitar Ewhen Osidacz - Accordion George Sztyk - Bass Stepan Andrusiak - Drums |

Search | Add | 6 | Disko Dario | Dario Aebersold | Around the turn of the millennium the drummer Dario Aebersold discovered electronic music and crawled head first into a quiet basement to get into the act himself. Since then he is heard and seen in clubs and at festivals as Disko Dario. In his sets Disko Dario cares little about what’s hot or not. He is loyal to his inspiration and to his personal style. Although kept technoid and minimal his sound has a gripping warmth. Glittering colors and melancholic tons accompany his compositions that wrap you up and carry you straight into the land of dreams. |
Search | Add | 6 | SpaceLazerz | Progressive chiptune band, started as a solo project, but eventually became a band, with the members meeting through various online forums. The band released "Fight the Power" through I'm Jeff Records, before leaving the label, to self-release their debut album, "Supernova". Several members left, after the creation of Supernova, including founder, Helios. As a result, the band went on hiatus from September 2015 to January 2016. After releasing their second EP, "Reset;Acceleration", the band split until early 2017, reforming with a new line-up, and switching to a post-hardcore/progressive rock sound. They released their third EP, "Lifeline" in February 2017, with a second album expected to release in late 2017.

Search | Add | 6 | Hiran Mitra | Hiran Mitra (born 1945) is an artist based in Kolkata (West Bengal, India). He left his ancestral country home in Kharagpur to study Fine Art in the Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata at the age of 14. His paintings are energetic abstract gestural paintings with the choreography of the human body observed from folk dance having influenced his recent calligraphic forms. He has contributed significantly to the visual stimulus in eastern Indian films, television, theatre and literature since in the 1980s. He is also known to have defined a benchmark for book cover design for contemporary Bengali literature. His paintings are statements on the human condition and the twilight zones of reality and time. Bold brush strokes, layered washes and sprays and unconventional use of acrylic and industrial paints characterize his paintings. He is part of the Open Window Artist group and has been part of the Painters 80 Artist group in Kolkata.

Search | Add | 6 | Wang Jingxin | 王静欣 | WJX (Wang Jingxin) is an artist who words specifically in 3D rendering and design, most commonly for album art, who describes their art style as ‘Meta-Real, more real than the real world’. With the rise of digital presences in our post-pandemic world, most notably with the origin of the Facebook ‘Meta-Verse’, where we won’t be limited to the absence of our physical entities on social media, WJX explores these ideas with their hyper-surreal pieces. Their works combine inspirations from nature and the physical human form with concepts of a technological future, such as hybrid creatures, apocalyptic prophecies and the possible futures for our world, all using 3D rendering tools and photography that question our future ahead with the rise of digital opportunities. |

Search | Add | 6 | D. Jacob Davies | D. Jacob Davies (15 September 1916 – 11 February 1974) was a Welsh Unitarian minister who became a prominent figure within Welsh public life and within his denomination in Wales and beyond. Jacob Davies was born on 15 September 1916 at Penlon, Tregroes, near Llandysul, one of the five children of o David and Mary Davies. He was educated at Tregroes Primary School before earning a scholarship to Llandysul Grammar School in 1929, where he remained until 1936. He then became a student at Carmarthen Presbyterian College to prepare for the Unitarian ministry. After some years in Carmarthen he became minister of the Capel Bach, the Unitarian chapel in Aberystwyth, where he enrolled as a student at the University and graduated in 1945. Although Davies had intended to study for an MA degree, he received a call to minister the Unitarian churches at Highland Place, Aberdare and Hen-Dy-Cwrdd, Trecynon. The latter was the oldest nonconformist place of worship in the Aberdare Valley. As well as his duties as a minister, Davies played a wider role in the life of Aberdare, including supporting the movement to establish a Welsh-medium primary school, Ysgol Gymraeg Aberdar. In 1957, Jacob Davies returned to his native area to minister the three Unitarian churches at Alltyblacca; Capel y Bryn, Cwrtnewydd and Cwmsychbant. He remained there until his death in 1974. Davies was an active broadcaster, writer and journalist, and edited the Unitarian journal, Yr Ymofynnydd. He was an active campaigner for pensioners' rights and the Pensioner of Wales from 1955 until 1973. He was in demand to preside at the National Eisteddfod of Wales and the Llangollen International Eisteddfod. Politically, Davies supported Plaid Cymru, and unsuccessfully stood as a candidate in the inaugural Dyfed County Council election in 1973. He finished fourth with 21% of the vote. Davies died suddenly on 11 February 1974. He was buried four days later at Bwlchydadfa Cemetery, Talgarreg.

Roustam is the owner of the acclaimed underground label Redpanda and has released on Nilla Roustam was born in Moscow and grew up in Chicago which has left a lasting imprint on his creative and artistic life. He was raised on a steady diet of classic US House and techno in the Midwest and is a forward thinking and talented dj and producer, spending his time between Chicago, Berlin and Moscow. In his native city Roustam is well known for being the resident dj and main booker of the notorious Gipsy club. In the span of only two years Gipsy has become the premier destination for techno and house music in the Russian capital. The club's varied and all-encompassing program, which Roustam is responsible for, has featured a wide spectrum of great modern electronic artists, from Art Department and Nicolas Jaar to Ben Klock and Petre Inspirescu! In Gipsy and other places around the country Roustam has promoted events and performed with the who is who of cutting edge dance music. He has become known for comfortably fitting in as a back 2 back partner with many of his guests such as Matt Tolfrey, Droog, Clive Henry, Valentino Kanzyani, Seuil and the notoriously meticulous Romanians — Petre Inspirescu, Priku and Praslea. These daring journey sets have showcased Roustam's fluid and original style. Formerly Roustam was also an integral part of the magnificent trio of accomplished producers and djs hailing from Russia, better known around the world as Special Case. As a crucial member of the collective, along with his partners Arram Mantana and Tripmastaz, Roustam has released accomplished records on Culprit (which was remixed by no other than the great Petre Inspirescu) and Souvenir. Special Case have also crafted stellar remixes for Supernature, Akbal, and Plant 74 among other labels, featuring unique takes on such artists as Tiefschwarz, Inxec & Droog and Gwen Maze. As a part of the group he has also performed at leading festivals such as Sonar, WMC and Amsterdam Dance Event and in clubs like Watergate, Odeon and Katerholzig. Special Case was three individuals with varied tastes and styles that seamlessly blend into a beautiful composition whether it was through their mesmerising sets or through breathtaking productions on tasteful labels! As a solo performer Roustam has visited most parts of his native Russia along with great destinations in Europe and USA. He has crafted complex, engaging and usually extended sets which perfectly combined all sides of house and reduced elastic techno for such great party brands as Concrete in Paris, Half-Baked in London, Kontrast in Belgium and Just Wax in Berlin. Every month he continues to captivate club audiences everywhere from Oslo to Kiev. His debut solo record "Rustospace" was signed to the respected All Inn record label. It was released to much industry and critical acclaim on their new sister label Nilla in March of 2013 and is one of the label's all time top sellers as of now! "Rustospace" features a mind-bending remix from the talented Romanian duo NoiDoi. Special Case have also a record in the pipeline with Turquoise Blue, featuring an outstanding Seuil remix. His own vinyl-only Redpanda label also dropped its first release in April of 2013 with a Phrasis Veteris record! So far this young Russian producer, dj and ambassador of quality music in the motherland is only getting started! |

Search | Add | 6 | Jon Force | Jon Force began DJ'ing on vinyl in 2001 after discovering Hard House during it's short stint of popularity in America at that time. He became involved with a promotion called EastcoastNRG which had a web based live video stream with chat years before YouTube or Twitch existed. They were bringing over DJ's such as Riksta and Steve Ryan to play raves in America and also received some London bookings. Shortly after their first vinyl release, EastcoastNRG folded in 2004. In 2007, Jon left the scene. It remained an un-closed chapter in his life however and in 2020 (during the lockdowns) Jon bought decks and took the Tidy production course. He has since worked with artists such as Bass Jumper, Digital Mafia, Random But Raw, Slenderman, and BK. He began releasing tracks in September of 2022. He also revived ECN Radio (now weekly on twitch) which was where it all started for him. Jon plans to continue producing and running a weekly stream where he features the best Hard House DJ's.
