Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Ragged Soul | Ragged Soul got together around the year 2000 in Vigo. The band started basically as an excuse to gather at weekends, play hard and drink even harder, which they accomplished real soon! At first they used to play covers of Punk & Rock’n’Roll bands they loved, from Devil Dogs to early AC/DC, but more and more their goal was to get in their own songs. Ragged Soul always revolved around Jose (guitar, vocals & songs) and Miguel (bass, backing vocals & low-life). In the couple of years or so they lasted there were at least three drummers and two or three guitar players, some of whom were gone before you could say “tough shit”! The story of the band ain’t one of easy success, happy-go-lucky girls and pink champagne, just about the opposite actually: they’d only been going for a few weeks when Miguel -pissed out of his head on a Saturday night- suffered a double fracture in a leg. As a consequence, he literally vanished without trace for some 6 months… An auspicious start, some may say. Once they got started again, they were ready to play wherever they possibly could, mostly real shitholes in exchange for booze and -only sometimes- a little bit of money and a sandwich. They couldn’t care less, as they were having the time of their lives, even though most of the audience in little villages and so couldn’t really make out what the band was all about. One example was a gig in a shack turned into a pub in the middle of nowhere, at which the attending crowd was mostly metal-heads. Seeing that the band was getting no reaction whatsoever and people just stood there motionless, Jose responded to that by cursing and flinging abuse at them. What could have been an impending disaster turned into a big party with the boys playing for over two hours and a growing number of free drinks gathering on the stage! In fact that gig got them another one in a big rock festival in the area. Another amusing moment involved a band member being chased into the toilet by a rather amicable girl after a gig, while her boyfriend was cheerfully talking to the others at the bar. Not long after that, there was an incident following another concert, which involved one in the band having a fight at a local disco and then driving his car through the front door of a village house on the way back home… Wild times indeed! It was at the end of 2002 when they entered the studio to record their one and only demo, the recordings you’re now holding in glorious vinyl nearly 15 years later: four songs about breaking up, breaking down and breaking through, if you know what I mean… Even though the resulting demo-CD was very poorly distributed, it did get them a few more gigs, the most memorable being the one the late Kike Turmix -of the infamous Pleasure Fuckers fame- got them opening for the great Wayne Kramer (guitar slinger with the legendary MC5). They struggled on for a while, changing drummers just one more time and even the band-name for one off-gig in their hometown, but that was it really. In the end, Ragged Soul would mutate into The Fishfuckers, who eventually moved on to greener pastures, but that’s another story, a story that must be told somewhere else… JOSE (FEBRUARY 2016) | |

| Search | Add | 2 | KSRSZ | KSRSZ (reads as Keyser Söze) was formed by four random people who didn't know what to do with their lives. We still have to figure that out, but at least we get to play in a band which is cool. What we like to do is just play together, chill for a bit and then play some more. What usually results is a sound that wants to hug you only to punch you in the back of the neck afterwards. | |

Discoveri, hailing from the United States, consists of two musical geniuses that joined forces in early 2004. Together, they started by crafting many different types of electronic music from down tempo to slamming break beats and house, finally settling on a fusion of sounds with a house backbone. It is hard to pinpoint their signature sound since they pull from so many different styles and influences. Their music is something that needs to be heard live to be appreciated.

After the release of two Ep between 2008 and 2009 the band recruited Marco on second guitar and Gigi Lopre on vocals, to replace the departure of Ale. Burn Inside began work on the new songs that are recorded in the third Ep “Primordial State” in the summer of 2010. The true musical identity came out and sound became more mature, aggressive and louder than past, strongly inspired by many of the American metal band of the last 20 years. What comes out is a no-frills, powerful, restless, furious metal, able to involve the audience in live sets full of rage and passion. Right now the band is working on new songs for the first studio album planned for summer 2012.

| Search | Add | 2 | Carroll Righter | Carroll Righter (February 2, 1900 – April 30, 1988) was known as the "astrologer to the stars." He wrote a syndicated daily advice column for 166 newspapers around the world and was reputed to be an advisor to Ronald and Nancy Reagan. Righter, who liked to be called the "gregarious Aquarius,' began doing charts for Hollywood notables in 1938 and became a columnist in 1950. Righter was mentioned in President Reagan's 1965 autobiography Where's The Rest Of Me? and, according to former White House Chief of Staff Donald T. Regan, Mrs. Reagan turned to astrologers to help determine the president's schedule.[1] Asked specifically whether he believed in astrology, President Reagan said, "I don't guide my life by it" but he added, "I don't know enough about it to say, is there something to it or not...and I don't mean to offend anyone who does believe in it, or engages in it." When Righter was asked in 1985 if he consulted with Ronald Reagan on astrology, he replied, "No comment." Righter claimed he warned Marlene Dietrich to avoid working on a studio set one day because she might get hurt. His advice was not heeded and Dietrich broke an ankle while reaching out to save a falling child. Word of the accident and Righter's advice led other celebrities to the astrologer's Hollywood doorstep, ensuring his fame. Among those who sought his advice were Arlene Dahl, Rhonda Fleming, Jane Withers, Hildegard Knef, Joan Fontaine and Grace Kelly. At one point in the late thirties the then-young Robert Mitchum worked as a ghost writer for Righter. Righter wrote several books, including Astrology and You, the Astrological Guide to Health and Diet, and the Astrological Guide to Marriage and Family Relations | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Mc Koo | Kalle Havumäki | Born: June 6, 1991 MC Koo (aka. MC Pikku Koo and Koo Havumäki) was known the lead member of a hip hop group Resisposse, but later moved on to a solo career as Resisposse unofficially went on a hiatus. His mother is known as the news anchor of Yleisradio, Marjukka Havumäki. Havumäki gained publicity in 2006, when he performed in the Buusteri TV show on national television. The clip was uploaded to YouTube and soon it became an internet phenomenon with many humorous remix videos. Havumäki suffered from bullying in school and even pondered to quit his career as a hip hop artist. Together with his family Havumäki tried to get the videos off the internet, without success. Some time after this Havumäki gave out an exclusive interview, now saying that he's not offended by the humour built around him in the internet and that he finds it rather flattering. In the spring of 2010 Havumäki once again became the center of attention in the media when he was denied access to a restaurant called Hemingway's, due to him being mentally and physically disabled. The restaurant later apologized and claimed that Havumäki was mistaken for someone highly intoxicated, since he had stumbled on the restaurant's door. The Finnish Association of People with Physical Disabilities strictly considered the action discrimination against disabled people. |
