Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | Carlos Marroqui | Carlos Martínez Guevara | Carlos Marroqui, was born in Caracas, Venezuela on September 9, 19 ??. He is a Venezuelan singer and lawyer famous in the 70s. "His interest in music was evident from his early years, when he had the opportunity seven years after starting his apprenticeship with the renowned Creole musician Teófilo León, and in addition to singing he learned to play the cuatro, the guitar and the harp. The beginning of his professional career as a singer is given in 1973, year in which his voice is frequently heard on the stations of the time with the theme "You women ... have no thorns in the heart". After this triumph, he jumps to television, a medium in which he also unfolds naturally and ends up becoming a beloved and familiar face, which interpreted some of the great successes of the time, such as "Amor del alma", "And you have left alone "," Campesina "and" Oropel ", among others. His artistic name, Carlos Marroquí, was a gift from his musical godfather, the unforgettable Alfredo Sadel, who baptized him that way before inviting him to sing with him in the now defunct local "El Jacal", a place where he alternated with important figures of the Latin American music such as Tito Guizar, Carlos Julio Ramírez, Martinha, Luisa María Güell and Roberto Yanés, just to mention a few. Although after becoming a lawyer in 1978, his obligations in this area led him to move away little by little from radio and television, the truth is that Morocco never retired definitively from singing. And how could he do it, if in his few years of almost exclusive dedication to this artistic discipline he left more than sixty songs recorded, besides being nominated for the Golden Guaicaipuro and winning the Diplo 73 and Mara de Oro Awards 1974 as Revelation of the year, Espectáculos y Primerísimo 74. In 2014, he presented a book "Memoirs of a singer", of his own authorship, in which he pays homage to national and foreign performers. Currently, Carlos Marroquí is the founder of a fun group for the elderly called "Our songs of always: from the tango to the ballad". In addition, he continues to perform solo with unquestionable success in each scenario he faces with his melodious voice ". |

| Search | Add | 5 | OPTMS | Beatmaker with a deep passion for banging drums, groan synths, and raffish samples. Originally a Drummer and Turntablist since the late 90s, Optms blends his love for the unconventional sound without any genre boundaries. Born in mid 80s Yugoslavia and growing up in Bremen (Germany), Optms began playing drums at a young age. Making his first attempts on DAW in the late 90s and mind blown by the sounds of scratching, he discovered turntablism. 5 years of bedroom deejaying, making a few mixtapes under different monikers and experiencing first club gigs, it was in 2004, where Optms entered his first DJ-Competition, organized by Pro-Zeiko in Berlin. Later that Year, he took the opportunity to participate at the I.T.F. DJ-Battle. Stats: 2004: Kurt Lade Klub DJ-Battle Berlin / 3rd place. 2004: I.T.F. Hamburg Heats / 4th place. 2004: I.T.F. German Finals Scratch Category / 6th place. 2005: I.T.F. Hanover Heats / 3rd place. 2009: Wizard of Ahh #3 / 3rd place. 2010: Red Bull "Hit the Wax" / 2nd place. While still producing music beside his DJ stuff, it was at that time in 2010 to release his first EP "Blanes Beach Memoirs". In 2011, french label Vaatican Records (i.a. 1000names, Vlooper) re-released his "Electro-Cution EP", followed by the "Digital Cocadisco EP", released by italian label Pitjamajusto (i.a. Digi). Optms moved to Munich and came in touch with Jay Scarlett, DJ Explizit, Sepalot, Kuchen George, Deckpackers (Aspect, Snatchatec) & Highenders (Len Beam, Sixkay) which brought huge support on his live gigs, radio plays, etc. Optms released more music via miscellaneous labels such as Munich based Gold Diggers Records, by Felix Kirner (Pho Queue), Fwonk* (UK) & Subwise (Russia, i.a. 813) Over the years Optms supported the likes of Kaytranada, Afu-Ra, Rah Digga, Johnsen and shared stages with Homeboy Sandman, Scntst, Alec Empire, Erobique, Blade (Marc B. & Blade), Pfel (C2C), Fatoni, Hgich.T, Roger Rekless, The Analog Roland Orchestra, Danny Scrilla, Krts, Taprik Sweeze, Comfort Fit, Marc Hype, Kid Fresh, Rafik, Rasgunyado, B-Ju, Unkut, AKD, EVL NDL and many more. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | The Council Of Thirteen | Culminating a dream that began 45 years ago, the Council of Thirteen the brainchild of keyboardist, vocalist, bassist and songwriter John W. Edwards, has its formations in songs that John started writing in 1979 while studying Physics and Mathematics at the University of Arizona in Tucson. John had the dream of starting a record label and soon thereafter, Renaissance Records was born. Formed and operating in Nashville between 1995 and 2001, he relocated the label back to Arizona, where it has been ever since. Therefore, The Council of Thirteen was born by combining the talents of 13 other musicians and singers with John’s songs and some great covers of other classic rock artists’ tunes. The full package of 48 tracks on "In Between The Dark And The Light" presented on 2 CDs gives a little something for everyone from power rock ballads to 70s pop songs, to 80s rock and new wave tunes and some great contemporary rock performances. "Lights of the Stage" is the second album featuring 24 new songs, including 5 classic covers. The third album "Find A Way Tonight" is being released in March and features 20 all new songs. The fourth album "Find A Way Tonight" has just been released in March 2025. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | The Nevels Sisters | With powerhouse vocals and energy that electrifies and empowers listeners, the Nevels Sisters aren't your typical gospel girl group. Offering a new style of gospel music dubbed “new traditional thump,” the ladies are the latest gospel artists helping to redefine what the genre looks and sounds like in the contemporary era. Natives of Youngstown, Ohio, the group is made up of four biological sisters: Debra, Veneice, Gail and April. Their singing ministry dates back to their father's church, Nevels Temple Church of God in Christ, where as young girls they warmed the souls of his congregation, delivering their special brand of praise and worship. Encouraged by the overwhelming positive response to their artistry, the sisters ventured out on the road with their father where they further evolved their talents. “The time that we spent on the road has really prepared us for where we are today,” says Gail. “At first, we were unaware of our gifts as artists, but now we are filled with great confidence as we share those gifts in praise of the Lord.” With a push from God that kept moving them forward, the Nevels Sisters eventually caught the ear of gospel music pioneer Vicki Mack Lataillade, who immediately recognized their unique talents. “I was just amazed by their talent and energy,” says Lataillade, who got to work, striking a deal with MoLife Entertainment to bring the Nevels Sisters under her direction at Lataillade Entertainment. “We are absolutely thrilled to be working with Vicki and we look forward to where this opportunity will take us in our journey,” says Veneice. At last primed for the big time, the Nevels Sisters are set for their first major label release, It's My Time, coming in April 2011, which offers a sparkling showcase of their mesmerizing talents. While comparisons to other gospel sister acts, like the famed Clark Sisters, are inevitable, the Nevels Sisters are excited to share what they uniquely bring to the gospel music landscape. “To be compared to the legendary Clark Sisters is an incredible honor,” says April. “We certainly hope to do them proud as we walk down the road that they paved, and to keep carrying the torch of excellence with the gifts that God has given the Nevels Sisters.” “Our goal is to make a great impact on people,” says Debra. “Each of us feels that it is an honor and a privilege that we have this opportunity and we don't plan to waste a minute of it.” | |

| Search | Add | 5 | FR' Mystery | Gwarn Music | [a=Tony Henry] was originally going to keep the [a=52nd Street] name active and carry on releasing music under the heading. [a=Lorna Bailey] a music graduate from Birmingham but studying at Manchester University joined him in 1990. After a dormant year at Virgin\10, they finally released Henry from his contract and allowed him to take the [a=52nd Street] name. [a=Cool Down Zone] were still in that period signed to the label. Henry and Bailey worked on songs for almost a year. The sound and direction they created was more akin to gospel tinged Nubian Soul. The two standout tracks 'I Just Wanna Be' and 'Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt' got the attention in 1991 of A&R Director Pete Edge at WEA Records UK. In order not to cause confusion between the two acts, as Henry remained close friends with his former band mates and would invite both [a=Tony Bowry] and [a=Mike Wilson] to play on various tracks, a decision was made to retire the 52nd Street name and thus [a=FR' Mystery] was born. Whilst discussions at WEA were progressing, Edge was offered a major position in New York which he took with immediate affect. Edge suggested that FR' Mystery did the deal with him in New York but Bailey still had a year and a half at university and Henry had just returned from living in LA, recording (in his words) a terrible third 52nd Street album. Henry decided to take FR' Mystery down the independent route instead. With financial help from the band's music publishers Virgin Music, Tony Henry formed record label Gwarn Music in 1991. In 1994 he was invited to bring the label to New Order manager [a=Rob Gretton]'s Rob's Records for distribution. Gretton had invited 52nd Street to come to Factory Records in 1982. |

The Sheep Fiends play no particular genre and every Sheep Fiends jam is a performance. They started making music almost 30 years ago in 1992 and over 100 musicians have floated in and out of the group, bringing with them a virtual orchestra of instruments. Gabriella Besanzoni studied at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome where she was taught by Alessandro Maggi and Ibilda Brizzi. She made her debut at Viterbo in 1911 as Adalgisa. Because of her expansive middle register and rich low tones she decided to restudy and appeared as a mezzo-soprano at the Teatro Costanzi Rome in 1913 (Ulrica). She was very successful at La Scala, as Orfeo and Amneris, and in 1932 as Carmen and Mignon. In the 1910s and ‘20s Besanzoni was a star of the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires and other South American opera houses. Her roles included Dalila, Carmen, Amneris, Lola, La Cieca, Preziosilla, Marina, Leonora in La Favorita, Mignon, Adalgisa, Isabella in L’Italiana in Algeri, not to forget the roles in the first performances of Zandonai’s Francesca da Rimini and Marinuzzi’s Jacquerie. She returned to sing at the Colón until 1935. The artist also appeared at the Met opposite Caruso in the season 1919/20, but she was not successful. She also made guest appearances at the opera houses of Chicago, Havana and Berlin. Carmen was the role that brought her fame and it was this part she chose for her farewell performance at the Terme di Caracalle in Rome (1939). After her retirement she dedicated herself to teaching. |

One of the few bands in the Kansai area that continue the NYHC style lineage of HARDCORE BREAKOUT~SMDcrew. While keeping the 80's-90's NYHC and Boston's HC/Punk/Oi/Skins at the core of their music, they also inject plenty of the ferocious energy that Japanese Hardcore of the past used as a weapon, as well as elements of Thrash/Crossover, to create a golden balance between a thick build-up and a sense of drive. It is more than a sleeve-cut G-jacket. The band's sound, which is more than a sleeve-cut G-jean, but less than a studded jacket, with their martin boots tied tightly and suspenders swinging around their arms as they scatter dust, fills live houses with a charm that attracts both old and new hardcore punks and skins alike. In recent years, the band has taken a different approach, including the addition of a saxophone, and is now exploring a new, party-hard side that is more than just bright and cheerful. | Search | Add | 5 | Pionirski dom | The "Pionirski Dom" Residence is an international studio (audio) meeting that connects the contemporary music with authorship in poetry. It is a platform for international co-operation and partnership in the field of exchange of ideas, programmes and projects, of the mobility of artists as well as of the affirmation of the contemporary music and literary expression. Apart from its dedication to music and literary expression, this co-operation interferes with the new technologies as well. The combination of contemporary music genres and contemporary poetry indicates complexity of a programme that should grow with the expressibility of its kindred artists. The programme foresees a synchronicity of artistic expressions from the idea towards the resulting working process, the appliance and the development of the latest technology of sound engineering and last but not least, a live performance that will be recorded and released. The updated contemporary approach of the Residence includes the development of new directions in the very approach to production of sounds and spoken words as well as an open-minded attitude about every music genre paving thus the way for new potential and opportunities for interaction. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Agni Avshar | Agni Avshar, born on 6 July 1988 in Skopje, expressed her talent for and fondness of music at the age of 7, which was the primary reason why her mother enrolled her in the elementary music school ‘Ilija Nikolovski – Luj” in Skopje. There, for 8 years she studied playing the piano, solfege and music theory, which brought about her love for singing. As early as that age she manifested an exceptional music talent and an extraordinarily developed sense of hearing. Her first contact with a wide audience and performances at music events were her participations in piano recitals and competitions, where she appeared on her piano teacher Karmen Kostova’s insistence, which was grounded on her student’s high music potential and charismatic stage appearance. At the age of 20, in 2009, she founded a band with which she locally performed music of pop and rock genres, thus acquiring great experience in stage and vocal performance. In the meantime, she completed her studies at the Faculty of Philology in Skopje, the department for translating and interpreting English, French and Portuguese language. Having graduated, she involved herself still more actively in music-related engagements, and in 2016 she joined the Macedonian – Roma, folklore – jazz chamber ensemble upon request of Srdzan Amet. After 4 weeks of intensive rehearsals, they set off on a one-month tour to Antwerp, Belgium, where they had several concerts in Neuchateau, Antwerp and in Brussels. Upon completion of this project, Agni decided to enroll in the Musical Academy in Skopje, the department for Jazz and Popular genres, with her major being solo singing. As early as her first year of studies, her talent was noticed by her professors, and they engaged her to perform with them, where she gained most of her experience in performing on jazz gigs. In June 2019 she graduated from the Musical Academy with a grade average of 9,8. She is mostly known for her powerful yet sensual vocals, her affinity towards reviving the jazz standards from the great American Songbook, as well as jazzing up evergreens and contemporary pop music. On 8 October 2021 she releases her debut single “Soznavam” which encompasses scat vocalization. The music was written by Nikola Micevski and the lyrics by both Beti Jankovikj and Renata Kralevska. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Кали Жантлеуов | Қали Жантілеуов | Kali Zhantleuvov (1902-1970) - dombra player from Kazakhstan. |
