Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

The first volume of the mixtape was release as a free digital download on music sites such as datpiff and hulkshare and he has a YouTube channel which he uses to promote his music. The mixtape scored him local television interview and performances throughout Port Elizabeth and the mixtape was followed by Kes Tokyo Mixtape Vol.2 : July Jaws which also gain a lot of exposure in his neighborhood, Motherwell. Kes Tokyo has appeared as a newcomer on Africa's biggest Hip Hop Magazine, Hype. Career Kes Tokyo has worked with a list of artists,locally and internationally. In 2012 he met an aspiring Dallas rapper named LeeKid through Facebook and started collaborating with him. Same year he met up with a French indie record label owner who asked him to do a song with his artist for a mixtape that was due 2013. The project was done via email by sending back to back vocals and instrumental and the mixtape was released digitally on music sites such as iTunes and physical copies were distributed in France. In June 2014 Tokyo released an EP title "It's my Krib: I am kruising Home" which had single called Unfair Mission. On the song he raps about how you can be close at reaching the goal but then all of a sudden things start to fall apart. The single was released digitally on social networks and It's debut was on Vow FM. Early life Kes Tokyo was born Tokyo Mzubanzi Keseni in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, on May 19, 1992. He is Xhosa. He grew up listening to a variety of music genres, including soul, hip hop, funk and indie rock. When he was nine years old, his mother signed him up for a boys choir that held singing lessons at St Mary's Anglican Church in Port Elizabeth. He travelled by taxi every day from Motherwell, Eastern Cape to Port Elizabeth. To motivate him, the pastor at the church gave him ten rands every day he showed up. |

Somehow influenced by post-psychedelic weirdness (Alice Cooper, Sparks, Arthur Brown) and proto-punk bands (Doctors Of Madness, Punishment Of Luxury), the group is actually a studio project, with Glezos overdubbing all instruments bar the drums, courtesy of Paolo M.: a forced choice, since the recruitment of other members proved beyond any hope. The duo with the strange monicker (a weird, selfmade german-russian combination, which tentatively means 'The People In Black In The Balcony') go through a heavy schedule of demos recorded at Palmito Studios, a 8-track semi-professional studio in S. Giuliano Milanese (Milan). SOG's intention was to release a self-produced mini-album titled 'Horror! Horror! Schwarz Helluva!', which in the duo's intentions would include 6 tracks on a one-sided, 12" lp. In the meantime, Vidocq and Top Hat joined respectively as artwork designer and manager. SOG kept writing and recording, but after a long and heated internal debate the mini-album is cancelled, as the duo embarked in a series of acoustic demos recorded at Radio Popolare in Milan. In October 1983 Kindergarten Records in Florence offers a deal, but after beginning pre-production at the label’s recording facilities the duo declines. In January 1984 SOG released the rare, promo-only 12" Goatsucker/Voilà Hack'n'Slash on their Gates Of Heaven label (200 copies are pressed). After disappointing rehearsals with a number of guitar and keyboard players, SOG break up in spring 1984. In 2010 Hate Records releases ‘Horror! Horror! Schwarz Helluva!’ (vinyl only, 50 copies in blood red pressing), the projected-then-withdrawn 1983 album. 'Tapes Of Mystery And Imagination', a CD released in 1996 by El Passerotto, includes all the studio recordings of the most adventutous Italian post-punk group. | |

Denny is a great music expert and LP collector at 360 degrees since his youth. He learned how to play music by himself. He is also involved in another music project duo, the Bara Foetida, with his cousin Triplax Vermifrux, with whom created about 150 instrumental songs by using different kind of alternative instrument and devices, influenced by music genres like dark wave and psychedelic rock. By the way, the meeting with Ilaria gave him the impulse to form a new music project. Ilaria comes from a more commercial music culture. Since her childhood, she enjoyed writing poems and lyrics. She took music and piano lessons in her youth, but she got tired very soon, because she was more interested in singing rather than in playing, but she was too shy to take singing lessons. She never told anyone about her passion until the meeting with Denny. Thanks to the precious support of their friends, they unified their passion, creativity, talents and efforts, and created the Babylon Projekt. On October 20th 2015 they recorded their first two songs in studio, “Sono un DJ”, released on November 15th, and “Listen to my radio”. Their main music genre is electronic, influenced by genres like reggae, pop, dark, and many others. Their love for music has no boundaries, so they don’t want to follow only one specific genre, and the lyrics of their tracks are in several languages. They became one of the UK’s first live ‘acid house’ acts, and during this time they developed a sound which blended what we now call Psychedelic Trance and Ambient Dub. At the time they described their sound as “Shamanic Trance” a name derived from their interest in using the music, and the trance in a more directed and “magical” way than their more mainstream peers. Timeshard’s music found success UK’s free-festival circuit, which was in a period of transition and fusion as acid house fans found a place to dance without restriction, outside mainstream club culture. Steve and TimeShard built a devoted following among the mixture of punks and Acid House followers which flocked to Britain’s free festivals fields during this period. Gradually, their live show expanded outwards and across Europe, while their sound gained elements of ethno-techno, trance and dub. Timeshard also gained attention for their self-released, cassette-only albums, Who Pilots the Flying Saucers in 1991 and Hyperborean Dome Temples of Apollo the following year. In 1994, Planet Dog signed the group and released Crystal Oscillations and the trio’s second full album, Hunab Ku, appeared in 1996. Touring and performing constantly from 1989 to 2001 Steve moved away from live performance, but now is back after digging through his vaults and discovering hidden treasures, his unreleased works which were recorded in snatched moments but never released.
