Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | Vaudville | Vaudville is: Doug Savage - Vocals Dave LaChance - Guitars Blaine Horn - Bass Kelly Ryan - Drums In 1990, former Rated-X guitarist, Dave LaChance, and drummer, Kelly Ryan, set out to form a band that would not only catch the attention of a thriving Hollywood music scene, but the world as well. To complete the rhythm section, they found ex-G.G. Gangster and Juicy Miss Lucy bassist, Blaine Horn and the nucleus of Vaudville was formed. After months of writing and rehearsing new material, it was time for the trio to find the right voice to complete their aggressive, street wise brand of hard rock. A nation wide search led them to Ohio, home of Nasty Action frontman, Doug Savage. A couple weeks later, Savage was on a plane bound for Los Angeles, and the line-up was set. By early 1991, Vaudville exploded onto the L.A. club scene, and made its mark in no time. The band quickly gained a large following and found themselves headlining shows up and down the Sunset Strip. This was followed by the release of their first, five song demo, which propelled them to the top of the scene. By the time they released their second, four song demo, they were solidified as a Hollywood powerhouse. Vaudville disbanded in 1993. | |

They define themselves as dirty-girlie-kitchen-pop mixing catchy melodies and repetitive looping with fragile vocals and provocative texts. Out of their playfully ironic and poetic universe you can ear shades of CAN, Broadcast and Young Marble Giants. SCARLETT’S FALL toured their first album all over Switzerland and supported Tricky, Peaches and Anika.

| Search | Add | 5 | Browntown Looters | Members: Oscar F. (D.J. Clear) Venegas Tony (Citric-T) Campos Richard S. (Skinny) Lopez Coming straight from the East Los Angeles hip-hop underground are the Brown Town Looters. The Brown Town Looters have been around for many years. The group was formed back in 1989, when the group was originally named Brown Town. The original members were Critic-T (Boyle Heights), D.J. Clear, and Shotgun (both of Montebello). In 1990, a street-smart homie known as Skinny (East Los) joined the group. In 1992, Brown Town released their first single entitled "Dope House in the Ghetto" on Explicit Records. That summer, Brown Town was performing at various clubs and car shows. That group was getting ready to release their album, since reviews of their shows were very positive. In 1993, their manager, who was also managing "Proper Dos," mismanaged Brown Town. The group decided not to retain him as their manager after backlash was felt from his management tactics. Also in 1993, Shotgun left the group, branching out on his own solo endeavors. In 1994, the group picked up a new rapper, Cash Phlow of South Central Los Angeles. 1994 also brought with it a new name, Brown Town Looters. With this new-year and new name, Brown Town Looters were coming into their own. Also in '94 they released a two-song promotional Compact Disc. The group also began to make appearance at lowrider car shows and concerts. At about the same time, the group started working on another album and were in the process of negotiating to sign with a record label. In 1995, the group met with Future Entertainment, after which, the Brown Town Looters' ads were seen in various magazines such as High Times, The Source, etc. With this new-found exposure, the group, along with Jose Lopez (Skinny's brother) of Looters Management, and Future Entertainment created Hemp Town Records. HempTown Records was created to manufacture cassette tapes and Compact Discs of Brown Town Looter's unreleased album, "Koncrete Phunk." All they needed was a distribution system for their album. Unfortunately, due to Future Entertainment's mismanagement, this never happened. After this fiasco, Citric-T and Cash Phlow joined together with D.J. Ray of "Cruising with La Raza," a cable show on Buenavision Cable in East Los Angeles. D.J. Ray asked Citric-T and Cash Phlow to host the show in East L.A. while he hosted the show in Arizona. This arrangement allowed the Brown Town Looters to gain greater exposure. At about the same time, the group met other hip-hop groups and formed a hip-hop family which as known as "Brown Town Looters Click." The "Click" consisted of Brown Town Looters, featuring Mr. Juvenile, 2-Phattal, Explicit, and Lil' Indian. In 1996, Citric-T and Cash Phlow left the cable show and began their own cable show called "Undaground Flava." The show consisted of rap/hip-hop videos and interviews with guest from the hip-hop Industry such as Cypress Hill, W.C., Doveshack, Mellow Man Ace, and Delinquent Habits. Looter's Management was also booking shows left and right. Brown Town Looters were performing with music artists such as Cypress Hill, Ice-T, Coolio, Zapp, Rodney O and Joe Cooley, Kid Frost, and Mack 10. In August of 1996, the Brown Town Looters, featuring Mr. Juvenile, were featured in the "Definition of Brown" compilation, a product of Latino owned Green Side Records. In 1997, Looters' Management made a deal with John Lozoya (one of the original creators of Lowrider Magazine) of Super Event Entertainment for a Mid-West tour, taking Brown Town Looters to Texas, Arizona and New Mexico, promoting their new album, "Live and Learn." This new tour brought new friendships for Brown Town Looters. One such friendship with Street Smart Clothing, a company associated with Top Nation Clothing. This alliance brought Brown Town Looters a new line of Brown Town Looters clothing (gear). This association also led to a Japan Super Car Show as the headliners. In January 1998, "Definitions of Brown, Part Two" was released and again Brown Town Looters were included. BTL released their "Live and Learn" album on September 18, 1998. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Richard Demko | Richard L Demko | RICHARD DEMKO is a classically trained pianist who started taking piano lessons at the age of 5. He went on to study drums, guitar, bass, and eventually, the art of production and engineering. Richard has played in various bands, and has toured all over the northeast with his primary project “Electric Mayhem. He has played as a session musician on countless songs and albums, most notably playing B3 tracks on two singles that feature Beach Boy Blondie Chaplin. (Release date TBA). He also plays and writes songs in a studio project called “Demkovic” which is comprised of Demko and his long time band mate, vocalist Suzanne Vick. Richard honed his Production and Engineering skills with Vic Steffens at Horizon Music Group in West Haven, CT, and has worked with numerous local, regional, and national bands in the studio. Some of the more notable projects include working with Blondie Chaplin, Kasim Sultan, Edwin Hawkins, Mickey Curry, Scott Spray, Bobby “T” Torello, and Christine Ohlman. Richard also had the opportunity to mix some of the nations biggest bands and artists when he engineered for the legendary Toads Place in New Haven, CT, moonlighting as a Front of House Engineer and Monitor Engineer. As a songwriter, Richard has an extensive catalogue of music ranging from classical to metal. He rarely sings on any of his own work, and usually employs session singers to lay vocals down on the music he writes that does contain lyrics. His catalogue contains a mix of instrumentals and songs that contain vocals, ranging in many different styles and moods. Some of his work is commercially available with the various studio projects that he has released. He does collaborate with lyricists from time to time, and has even collaborated with other musicians to write instrumental arrangements for artists who are looking for songs. He classifies himself to be more of a composer and writer more so than a “beat maker”, as his songs are always structured, and he always has a production vision for each and every song he writes. rick d award.jpg In 2019, Richard went on to form NeuroTronix Records, which is a full service, independent record label located in Seymour, CT. As the President and Senior A&R for the label, he actively scouts bands and artists to help promote, record and release music utilizing his knowledge and expertise that he has gained throughout his 20+ year career in the industry. With an amazing team of dedicated professionals who help him run the daily operations, NeuroTronix Records has become one of the fastest growing, and most reputable indie labels in Connecticut. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Oxygyn | We are Oxygyn, an indie-pop band based in Malta with a passion for making music that matters. Oxygyn is composed of sibling duo Kurt Abela and Katia Abela, with lyrics written by Kurt Abela, music composed by J A N J U produced by Funky Monkey and Zack on guitar. Our aim is to make music that inspires others, the same music has always inspired us, by exploring important human and social issues through song. Oxygyn was established in December 2015, with the release of our debut original single CORRODE. The song reached No.2 on Malta’s Top 10 Chart (89.7 BAY), and the music video has garnered over 14,000 views on YouTube. We followed this up with WOLVES WITHOUT TEETH, a cover version of the song originally released by Of Monsters & Men, in September 2016. In 2017, we started transitioning from acoustic and piano-based music into a more modern and polished sound that like to describe as indie-pop. We got to perform at several local music festivals for the first time, including the Farsons Beer Festival, Rock the South and the Beland Music Festival, and we also opened for Joe Roscoe during a gig in July. This evolution culminated in the release of our original single BUBBLEWRAP in November 2017, which debuted with radio play on XFM 100.2’s Big Drive Home with Trudy Kerr, and was accompanied by an elaborate music video produced by 141 Records. BUBBLEWRAP reached No.1 on Malta’s Top 10 Chart (89.7 BAY) in January 2018, and the music video reached over 11,000 people on social media in a matter of weeks. In 2020, we hope to release more original material and to continue performing it lives for diverse audiences. Follow us on our social media platforms to stay tuned for more info about upcoming music, gigs and more. | |

Kin Teal as a project is meant to express the contrast and connection between nature and humanity, and juxtapose natural textures with machine-made ones. | Search | Add | 5 | Concave Scream | Singapore rock band Concave Scream paved the way for other homegrown bands, particularly amid the country's fledgling indie rock scene. Founded in 1994 by schoolmates Sean Lam (lead vocals, guitar) and Pann Lim (lead guitar, vocals), the band released its self-financed, self-titled debut album in 1995 and saw it catch on steadily among English-language rock listeners in Singapore, especially among critics. The growing buzz about Concave Scream led to the breakthrough success of their second album, Erratic (1997), which spawned several radio hits and elevated the band to the top of Singapore's rock scene. Three (1999) continued the band's success, but it would be a long seven years before Concave Scream returned with their fourth album, Horizons (2006), a return to-roots effort on EMI Singapore. Their fifth and final album, Soundtrack For A Book, an instrumental album that was once again self-released, would follow in 2009.

After a couple of performances Ásmundur left to focus on his studies in visual arts. Vindva Mei kept going as a duo, throwing itself in different directions. With the 2 member´s different preferences, Péturs more rhythmical, melodic structures and Rúnar´s more abstract soundscapes people could never know what to expect. After Rúnar moved to Denmark in late ´96 Vindva mei slowed down. Working when the members met in Iceland or Denmark resulted in 3 albums but fewer and fewer live performances. In the last couple of years Vindva Mei has recorded new material and has decided to perform again after years of absence from the stage. First performance was in august 2010 where Vindva Mei played a short set of new material for an enthusiastic audience in Reykjavík. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Tekno Lima | Tekno Lima | Rock Band from Lima, Peru (1986-1988) A creation of [l108642] Label formed by many local musicians from different bands from Lima. Just a proyect who released rehearsals and covers oriented to markets outside Lima, where the big labels did not arrive because of their small sizes. Did'nt perform presentations or concerts, just sporadically edited material as Singles, EP's or 45 RPM's. That strategy of sales was a failure. Since 1987, [l108642] stopped producing covers and started to release only the songs of several groups and national soloists of the time, many of them unsuccessful. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Manuel C. Ferrón | Manu Ferrón | We'll remember 2013 as the year we finally convinced Manu Ferrón, the elusive cult figure-singer-songwriter from Granada,to publish and record music under his own name. Unanimiedad was his debut single with only two tracks: “A Trabajar” and “El Mueble”, just five minutes of timeless and elegant pop in the vein of Teenage Fanclub or Love. Manu Ferrón is well known in Spain as the co-leader of Grupo de Expertos Solynieve (where the other 50% is Jota, of Los Planetas' fame), and also as the writer of several minor hits for a few independent bands. Recently, he has also been collaborating on the Spanish translation of Franco Battiato's last album lyrics. And now he is blowing our heads off with his brand new 10'', Misericordia, five songs almost entirely made of choruses and epiphanies, wonderfully and strangely entwined with artists such as Big Star, Randy Newman or Guided by Voices. Quoting Heraclitus, you'll never play the same song twice, and that's exactly what happens with “Cara de Astro”. Originally composed in 1993, it has been on a constant journey through languages, titles, lineups and intentions. Now, it's all about the famous quote by Uruguayan football player Enzo “El Príncipe” Francescoli, who once literally said that “you just can only play well when you can and when they let you do it” . “Cara de Astro” is full of energy and has an effervescent approach to the listener, exemplifying an essential motivation for Manu: Do it NOW. Do it now, instead of “I would prefer not to” (classic Bartleby, the Scrivener). But now, it's the perfect time. “Me quedo”, apparently a “girl-meets-boy” song, could be also understood as a “man in front of the mirror” or a “world, oh, world, listen to me” story. The chords that surround it could remind you of Robert Pollard with a dark, psychedelic, twist. There is also a slight, smart, even casual reference to traditional Andalusian music. Landing between Zumpano or Teenage Fanclub, this 10” has also pop-like revenges against intellectual elites, like “Enemigo que Huye”, “Precisamente de esta manera” –maybe the one more close to indie-rock tradition, or the jewel in the crown, “Secreto a voces” where Ferrón witty talks about the rottenness of artistic creation and the fake truths that, with our tacit approval, are killing art and feeding the mass culture industry. Misericordia is anchored with songs deeply filled with melodies sounding like survivors from a wild storm that finally land home, getting more and more close to perfection after bloody fights with inner devils. All of them are inhabited with emotions, memories, proclaims, and spiritual, almost private stuff, a gift for the wise listener. |
