Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Masked Boy as a solo project began with a string of ambient noise releases and some acoustic material. Following Weirdonia's hiatus in 2014, Masked Boy slowly transitioned leftover material into a dance-punk hybrid backed by a pre-made drum track. Search | Add | 5 | The Original Bluebelles | Soul/R&B girl group from Chicago, IL. Actually named [a=The Starlets (2)], they recorded a new version of "I Sold My Heart To The Junkman" (originally by The Basin Street Boys from 1946) in 1961 but the song was released under another group's name: [a=The Blue Belles]. After getting caught lip-synching on American Bandstand, Patti LaBelle & The Bluebelles were sued by The Starlets; each member received $5,000 in damages. Patti LaBelle And The Bluebells then re-recorded a 3rd version: -2nd version: the lead singer (over the backing vocals) starts the song by "oh yeah" twice. -3rd version: the lead singer (behind the backing vocals) starts the song by "oh yeah, uh uh". [l=Peak (3)] Records released the original recordings ("I Sold My Heart To The Junkman" / "I've Got To Let Him Know") in '64 under the "wrong" name "The Blue Belles". [l=Rainbow Records (23)] did the same with two other recordings the same year.

Search | Add | 5 | Concave Scream | Singapore rock band Concave Scream paved the way for other homegrown bands, particularly amid the country's fledgling indie rock scene. Founded in 1994 by schoolmates Sean Lam (lead vocals, guitar) and Pann Lim (lead guitar, vocals), the band released its self-financed, self-titled debut album in 1995 and saw it catch on steadily among English-language rock listeners in Singapore, especially among critics. The growing buzz about Concave Scream led to the breakthrough success of their second album, Erratic (1997), which spawned several radio hits and elevated the band to the top of Singapore's rock scene. Three (1999) continued the band's success, but it would be a long seven years before Concave Scream returned with their fourth album, Horizons (2006), a return to-roots effort on EMI Singapore. Their fifth and final album, Soundtrack For A Book, an instrumental album that was once again self-released, would follow in 2009.

The ensemble is dedicated to innovation in baroque music and developing an intercultural artistic movement with musicians, singers, dancers, choreographers, visual artists, architects, designers and filmmakers from all around the globe. To date they have created over 30 productions worldwide. The ensemble performs on 18th century period instruments and works in an international network with global partners such as opera houses, festivals, concert halls, municipal theaters, art foundations and museums. The company presents performances with a repertoire from Renaissance to the contemporary composers. They participate in today’s global art scene with inter-disciplinary productions of baroque, new music, electro-acoustic, modern dance, conceptual performance and experimental music theater. In 2018 Musica Sequenza celebrated its 10th anniversary by performing milestones of their repertoire such as “Silent Cantata” (2012) and “Sampling Baroque” (2015). For the anniversary they premiered a new Bach production “Atlas Passion” in co-production with Stadttheater Schaffhausen Switzerland. They also performed their signature programs at venues, such as Radialsystem V, International Bach Festival Schaffhausen, Borusan Culture & Art Foundation and Berghain. Musica Sequenza collaborates with Sasha Waltz, Rolando Villazon, Larisa Navojec and Van Rivers. Since it’s founding the ensemble has performed at Konzerthaus Berlin, Istanbul Music Festival, Händel Festspiele Halle, Oranjewoud Festival Netherlands, Thüringer Bach Wochen, Bach Akademie Stuttgart, Alice Tully Hall, Club Sisyphos, Wagenhallen, Kammgarn, Umspannwerk and the Berlin Biennale. Commissioned by the Grand Palais Museum Paris in 2014, Musica Sequenza recorded music by Burak Özdemir and Spanish baroque composers for the “Diego Velazquez” world tour exhibition. The work was curated and filmed by Karim Ainouz, which later became an international DVD release on Arte Edition. Burak Özdemir & Musica Sequenza collaborated with Sasha Waltz & Guests on diverse projects including “Dialoge” at Festival d’Avignon and the open exchange platform “Zuhören” at Radial System V in Berlin. Since 2012 the recordings of Musica Sequenza have been released by Deutsche Harmonia Mundi / Sony labels. The works include Burak Özdemir’s recompositions and original scores, developed together with Grammy awarded producer Da-Hong Seetoo, German recording engineer Christian Jaeger and Swedish DJ & Producer Van Rivers. The ensemble releases „Vivaldi : The New Four Seasons“ (2012), „Bach : The Silent Cantata“ (2013), „Rameau a la Turque“ (2014) and „Sampling Baroque/Handel“ (2016), have earned praise by the world press.

Search | Add | 5 | Viscous Liquid | Reading, UK-based solo artist Rhys Williams started Viscous Liquid as a home recording project in 2012, the music leaning heavily on psychedelic, shoegaze, lo-fi and surf pop influences. Williams began making his music available in digital format online soon afterwards, with a self-described aim to “sound like the Beach Boys strung out on barbiturates playing in some sort of wind tunnel.” The singles "Never Fun/Soother", "It’s Sort Of Like Being A Long Way From Home, All The Time" and an eponymous debut EP were released in 2013. Viscous Liquid gained recognition in Reading's local indie music scene, as well as praise from alternative music critics and publications such as Sounds Better With Reverb. A second EP followed, "Songs For Jealous Lovers", featuring added vocal harmonies and a broader, jangle-pop sound. The more expansive, psychedelic "Infinity Pool" EP was released later the same year. In 2014, Williams joined Rhys Edwards (Tripwires) to form Ulrika Spacek, having previously toured with that band as an additional guitarist.

Search | Add | 5 | Sisters Sex Haus | Sisters Sex Haus was formed after the split in 1983 of Dance Of Death. Danny Garmijn left the band and his brother Franky Garmijn replaced his brother. Stefan Timmermans and Franky Garmijn changed the name to Sisters Sex Haus a reference to Sisters Of Mercy, Alien Sex Fiend and Bauhaus. Evena s their sound had nothing to do with those bands. Both changed their name quickly into Nick Bat (Stefan) and Eve Mortley (Franky) because they used to be resident DJ's at The Tube and B52. Soon as they were planning to record Multiplication 6 Drive Glenn Rotsaert joined on guitar. Yves Beaumont did some writing. But after one year they both left the band. School became an issue to make new songs and in 1987 Sisters Sex Haus was over.

Search | Add | 5 | Spider Junkies | Spider Junkies were a NYC-based glam band that played throughout the NY/NJ area from the late 1980s through to the mid-1990s. They had many members through their time together, including several different singers, but were always recognized for their strong songwriting and memorable choruses. Hollywood-based manager Gerry Gittelson once said of the band, "This band was the Big Bang Babies of NY City. (They) never made it big, but should have sold millions of records" The band recorded four demo tapes over the years, however none of them were ever professionally duplicated. All of their demos were hand made by the band. Because of this, it's hard to find two copies of their demos that are exactly alike, as the band frequently would use different pictures, logos, colors of paper (for the photo copied covers), and brands of cassette tapes on their demos. The songs speak for themselves though.

Search | Add | 5 | Delest | Delest | DELEST is a melodic punk rock band formed in 2016 in Castelló de La Plana (Spain) and our influences come from Californian punkrock. You know: Bad Religion, No Use For A Name, Lagwagon,... 5 albums and many concerts all over the Peninsula and an international tour in England endorse our musical career without counting the previous experience in different bands of each one of us. "PERSISTENCIA" is our new EP. Recorded, mastered and produced by Raúl Artana at Rockaway Studios in Castellón and mixed and arranged by Angus Cooke in Santa Barbara (California) who has worked with the best melodic punk rock bands: Lagwagon, Bad Astronaut, The Ataris,... It consists of 4 songs that brim with this melodic punk rock where the octaves, the background vocals and the vocal melody are the main protagonist. 20 Chords Records is our trusted independent label and we have been with them almost since we started. In "PERSISTENCIA" we narrate the incessant walk that has made our bones heavier and our hinges creak. Yet we have not stopped for a moment to row towards what we want to be. A punk rock band that brings out the energy from the skull, that shoots at will and leaves in each concert until the last drop of sweat piling up bruises in this sea of music. Here you have PERSISTENCE, our new EP. We hope you like it as much as we are doing. |

Search | Add | 5 | Moose Malone | Queensland country music band led by veteran guitarist/pedal steel player Jimmy Brelsford, who had been active in bands since 1964, including a period with Bay City Union in 1968, the band began life as a trio "Moose Malone & The Mohairs" in 1975. They soon shortened their name and added players to become a full band, which became very popular in the north. Heavily influenced by the US West Coast scene, most notably Commander Cody, Moose Malone scored a deal with RCA records and recorded one album, and single in 1977. The album was not a huge seller, but it led to them being named Queensland's Best Country Band of the year as well as winning the Tamworth Cup. They then moved to Melbourne in 1978, issuing 2 further non-album singles "Two For The Show" in October of that year and a final one "What are You Doing at the Same Party" in 1979. However they kissed their record deal goodbye after they turned a record company reception for visiting fellow RCA recording artist, John Denver into a riot.

His participation in the emblematic Chemistry (Gijón) with the Club Culture project and his residences in the Warsaw and Bossanova, -common stops on the night route of Oviedo and Gijón at the end of the 90s-, stimulated his taste for the disco music, deep house and the more natural sounds of dance music.
