Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Endless Lights | Progressive psychedelic trance / Trance duo project based in France Endless Lights is the project of two lovers of electronic music. A metaphor for talking about happiness and emotions, a reference to space and its infinity as well as to the poetry it evokes to them. Klaus Schulze, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, and Jean-Michel Jarre were the first to put stars in the eyes of the duo. It was in the early 2000s after listening to a hardcore audio cassette for him and dance music for her that their love affair with electronic music really began. And it was during 2006 with the discovery of a trance compilation gleaned from the net that we fell in love with this music. After an already well-supplied career in hard music for their respective solo projects, Endless Lights signs the fusion of a composition combining the technique of one and the artistic touch of the other. Dive with this couple into very spatial musical layers, between arpeggios, ultra retro synth leads under musical influences inspired by Neelix, Stephan Bodzin, Giorgia Angiuli or even Perturbator. The moving and magical cosmos of a mixture of lo-fi, synthwave, midtempo, electro, trance, krautrock and sometimes hip-hop. The “infinite lights” of music, according to Endless Lights. Search | Add | 2 | Rik Clay | Richard John Clay | Richard John Clay, born 5th August 1982 in Scunthorpe, UK, was a musician, graphic designer, web designer, writer, researcher and charismatic genius whose mission was to bring fairness, abundance and joy to all human beings. At school in Scunthorpe he achieved top grades in nearly everything he did. It was during this time, whilst studying for his “A” levels, that Rik found his passion for music Attending Leeds Metropolitan University from 2001 to 2004, graduating with a 2/1 degree in Multi Media Technology, Rik subsequently went on to work in graphic / web design for a number of companies. At the age of 16 he founded the band FULC, who, over the course of their youthful development went on to become a highly respected rock band. Between the years 2001 and 2005 FULC released 4 records – “Void” EP ( 2001 ), “The Fallen” EP ( 2002 ), “Biting Insomnia” Album ( 2003 ), “Embrace.Destroy” Mini Album ( 2005 ) – all critically acclaimed nationally in the UK Rock Press. FULC toured the UK relentlessly for 4 years and toured Germany in 2005 to support the release of the records there. Rik joined rock band Ten Seconds of Chaos between 2006 and 2007 and started his solo project Somewhere Not Here during 2006. In July 2006 Rik met his life partner Mick Bullock and together they began an escalating campaign of travel and research. He developed interests in a great number of fascinating fields, including crop circles and sacred geometry, Reiki and Shamanism, free energy research, ancient mythology and Pyramidology, the global consciousness and the noosphere, reincarnation theory, 2012 and the Mayans, precession of the equinoxes, talismans, synchronicity, telepathy, holographic universal theory, and all things esoteric. Between September 2006 and May 2008 his journey took him to Spain, Italy, Egypt, Malta, Wales, Poland, The Netherlands, France and Mexico. The extreme wealth of information and wisdom that ensued precipitated the Cosmic Mind Blog, which allowed Rik to spread his knowledge and findings to people all over the world. After 3 months the blog had attracted a regular readership in excess of 30,000 people and his growing popularity led him to give interviews on Red Ice Creations Radio. Sadly for all of us, the sheer speed and intensity of the research eventually caused him to experience a sudden internal episode which stripped away his bounding energy and insight. A day less than 11 weeks later, on 28th August 2008, at the age of 26, Rik ended his own life in Ilkley. Whilst we will never really know what took Rik to his final decision, those closest to him have been able to put together a few pieces of the puzzle that help in understanding where his mind was. Rik’s ashes are scattered upon Ilkley Moor, overlooking the town above Rocky Valley, at grid ref 126464. |

Search | Add | 2 | Fresh Baked DJs | David Falloon, Joseph Martin | The Fresh Baked DJs are a multi-media party, delivering a mix of dj’ing, live p.a., turntablism & video scratching. Cooking up a combo of loops, tracks, samples and scratches, of both audio and video, they’re always hard at work, live and in the studio. Whether it’s digging up classic & obscure video footage, busting loose on the faders or dropping that next big bassline, the Fresh Baked DJs are always firing up something funky! The Fresh Baked DJs are David Falloon and Joseph Martin. David “Sleepy Cuts” Falloon – Electrofunk Collective – Vancouver Dave has been addicted to scratch since he picked up his first set of turntables in ’04, and addicted to funk since his ears first heard it. Stuck in Saskatchewan with a pair of decks and a handful of beat up battle records, he chopped it up for fun; it wasn’t until he moved to Kelowna and hooked up with the Electrofunk Collective in ’06 that he made the move to performing live, cutting it up in the clubs and at parties. Dave has since taken his game to the next level by combining visual scratching with his turntablist skills, lighting up the screens and the speakers. Joseph Martin – Shambhala / Fractal Forest, Intimate – Vancouver Droppin’ tunes since ’98 and a Shambhala resident since ’04, Joseph has played many a memorable set in the legendary Fractal Forest. For 3 years he hosted The Shakedown radio show and with the Liquidbeat collective, helped to produce some of the B.C. interior’s most inspiring parties. His latest endeavour is managing the independent recording label, East Van Digital. While he loves to play it loose with the dance floor, he’s known for his obsessive music collecting and programming, creating and executing meticulous sets based on bpm and key structures; he can often be found in his studio organizing and editing thousands of samples and loops. In a live PA set, you can expect to hear him remixing on the fly, triggering samples, tracks, loops and adding live synth to the mix, blending elements of bassline, electro and fidget. |

Search | Add | 2 | The New Lightweights | When Ariel Posen, Alexa Dirks and Ryan Voth first formed The New Lightweights in early 2008, it was a way for three long-time friends to get together and make music they enjoyed. They began writing together, and in 2009 they released an EP of all original material that received critical acclaim and heavy CBC rotation. The sum of all their parts creates a sound that is soulful and fresh with Dirks' siren voice, Ariel's melodic guitar playing and Ryan's dynamic and precise drumming at the forefront. They bring together their love and knowledge of folk, pop and soul music and turn it into something captivating for the ears and the heart. The New Lightweights is music that speaks of love, loss and what keeps us all together. | |
