Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Pat Mendoza | Patrick Mendoza was an internationally celebrated storyteller and troubadour whose tales drew upon his American Indian heritage, his interest in Western history and his empathy for military veterans. Mendoza, who had a round face and eyes that disappeared into crinkles when he smiled, called himself a Lepricano. His maternal grandparents were Indian and Irish, and his father was from Cuba. Mendoza grew up in Key West, Fla., and Denver, where he graduated from South High School and Metropolitan State College. Mendoza’s storytelling career grew out of a gig at Gussie’s, a now-defunct Westminster steakhouse where he sang folk, opera and popular songs. Mendoza went on to become one of the Denver storytelling conference’s most popular presenters. He taught himself to play the six- and 12-string guitars, the Celtic flute and the Native American flute, and began recording storytelling sessions in which he accompanied himself musically.

Search | Add | 2 | Carroneros | Carroñeros | CARROÑEROS is a band created (in this reality) in September 2006 in the northeastern area of Mexico City (Neza-Aragón), but put together for years by sinister minds in the 90s of the last century. CARROÑEROS came from the nothing. They never had a friend or a relative in the music industry, neither a millionaire relative, politic, or a sister or girlfriend that ever could strike in the playmate business. These guys came from the nothing. One day in September of 2006 appeared a drum kit in the room of Jesse J. Coyote, a bass in the toilet of Augustoock Vicios, the hand of Conde Giovanni Contar was suddenly hypnotized, Rod Monstruo and Paloma Stricnina felt sick and just they could speak screaming, and, finally, Emilio Revolver found and old organ in his garden when he pretended to buried his dog. Ok, they thought, we have an organ, we could make it as a church..s band. CARROÑEROS originally began playing at weddings, baptisms, and child..s birthdays. But they failed. Each party they played worst and worst. The people began to shout and bangs his heads and dance like if they were schizoids. Suddenly, to this baptisms, weddings, etc., began to arrive young delinquents, with sun glasses, big black boots and wild haircuts; CARROÑEROS played for avoid a disaster. But soon they began to love this type of “catholic partys” too. Actually, the worst of the worst people in Mexico City reunite themselves to dance like maniacs with the terrible sound of CARROÑEROS. And I heard that sometimes they invoke Satan. |

The first of his genre bending began in 1959, recording the rockabilly single "Rockabilly Yodel/Vow Of Love" released by Cool Records of Harrison, NJ – two original sides of his irreverent style, which was later collected on the 1994 Lenox Records rockabilly compilation I Wanna Rock . Nearly 60 years later, he has self-released High Power! Snow Power! To The Stars! Protect the Earth!, a collection of songs about snowboarding, fantasy and space travel. He is best known for his calls on The Best Show with Tom Scharpling.

Search | Add | 2 | Luddgang | Luddgang are an 8 person collective from Sheffield, England. 5 of those 8 people play drums, another handles the sound bytes & samples, another the slideshows (for live performances), and the last doing the merchandise/literature table. There's no guitar, no bass, and no vocals. Imagine, if you will, intense tribal drumming similiar to that of later-day Neurosis. Overtop of this you have samples instead of guitars. Sound bytes instead of vocals. Now, if you can imagine this, you might have just somewhat of a clue as to what Luddgang sounds like.

Search | Add | 2 | Mintaka | Mintaka: music, art and consciousness. Sol Sanfelice (vocals) and Richard González (synthesizers and programming) created Mintaka as a musical alternative, which plans between electronic and modern sounds with powerful and deep lyrics. Mintaka emerges as an electronic project at the end of 2010, when Sol Sanfelice, theater actress and singer of musicals in Argentina, and Ricardo González, renowned Peruvian writer, as well as musician and composer, meet again in Madrid. In the year 2012, already installed in Buenos Aires, they will publish their first album, "Humano". The album was produced in the studio of Mintaka and mastered by the award-winning sound engineer Andrés Mayo -his studio will be involved in all the mastering of the Mintaka albums-. "Humano", with its electronic sound and the message of its lyrics, was very well received by the public. Subsequently, an EP was published with five unpublished themes: Álma electrónica ", an album dominated by the sound of synthesizers, originally composed by Ricardo when he was a teenager, in the late eighties, in Peru. From which these 3 songs are turned into remix and ready for the dance floor, giving them the final touch the Dj. and Mexican Producer Manuel Ríos With That 80's Style ".

Search | Add | 2 | Rik Meijer | is a Frisian guitarist from The Netherlands After trying a number of wind instruments in primary school, he discovered the guitar at the age of 13 after seeing a concert by Shakey Sam, a blues hero in the north of the Netherlands. The sports clubs and all other activities were canceled immediately and a band was formed after which he really got the hang of it. Countless bands, sessions (with Huub v/d Lubbe, Rob Hoeke, Bert Heerink) and projects followed, including the collaboration with guitarist Erwin Java, which resulted in the album 'Tracks of the Past'. This includes Herman Brood, Harry Muskee, Eelco Gelling, Tineke Schoemaker and childhood hero Alvin Lee (Ten Years After). Rik also played for a long time with Jan Giro, well known in the Frisian Rock & Roll circuit, and he accompanied many other artists on their records as well as during their live show

Search | Add | 2 | Kaveh Akaber | Kaveh Akaber is a Swedish/Iranian composer and film director. Already in 1994 he started the electronica band Mindacid with his childhood friend in the small town Kristinehamn, Sweden. Inspired by the early 90's British rave scene. After the split -up 1999, he went his own way and soundtrack-like narrative became a strong feature of his work. Usually his music resembles a mix of western- and middle east scales, infused with heavy trip-hop beats, psychedelic guitars, analogue synthesizers and orchestrated strings, narrated by intimate vocals. From flirting with David Bowie vibes like in the song "Love is Groovy" and Angelo Badalamenti´s soundscapes as in “Bris” that lead us in a more trip-hop Massive Attack world like in “Baham”. The genre softly alternates and each track has its own narrative. The dark atmospheric sound oscillates between a dreamy atmosphere and a sharpened state of mind, where the hidden mysticism and socially dark subjects collides.
