Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

The instrumental orchestra «Ceska muzika» actively collaborated with Czechoslovak Radio and Television. |

| Search | Add | 9 | Сучий Лесок | Punk band from Yekaterinburg, Russia. | Search | Add | 9 | Tepper-Bennett | Sid Tepper and Roy C. Bennett met as young boys growing up in Brooklyn, New York. Their mutual interest in music led to a highly successful music collaboration that spanned more than twenty-five years. Between 1945 and 1970 they had close to three hundred musical compositions published. Tepper and Bennett began their career together in 1946, when they became staff song writers for Sydney Mills (of Mills Music). Their first big hit came in 1948 with 'Red Roses for a Blue Lady'. Bennett and Tepper scored big again in 1951 when Rosemary Clooney recorded their composition "Suzy Snowflake." In 1955, their 1954 composition of "Naughty Lady of Shady Lane" was a top-10 hit for both Dean Martin and the Ames Brothers. After three years with Mills Music, the duo decided to become freelance artists, and their successes eventually caught the attention of Elvis Presley's people. Tepper & Bennett wrote 45 compositions for Elvis' albums and movies, and is quite possibly their greatest legacy to the world of music. In 2002, Roy Bennett and Sid Tepper were honored at ceremonies in Memphis, TN by Lisa Marie Presley for their contribution to her father's success. They were also honored for having written a large portion of the album Blue Hawaii, which is widely considered by Elvis fans to be his best album. Other successful artists who recorded Bennett & Tepper songs include The Beatles, Perry Como, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Robert Goulet, Dinah Shore, Burl Ives, Eartha Kitt, Les Paul & Mary Ford, Frank Sinatra, Cliff Richard, Duke Ellington, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Marty Robbins, the Ames Brothers, Jo Stafford, Wayne Newton, and Sarah Vaughn. | |

In 1916, however, he transferred once more, to Reserve-Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 35. For his efforts during the war, he was awarded the Iron Cross 1st Class. After the war, Tumforde managed to stay on with the new Reichswehr for a while. At the same time, he founded the marching bands of the Wuppertal police and the Düsseldorf police (1919); in addition, he directed police bands in Hamm and Stettin. Between 1925 and 1934, he led a civilian brass band in Stettin, Pomerania. On July 3, 1934, Tumforde was not only reactivated, but promoted Obermusikmeister, leading the band of the I. Battalion of the 9th (Prussian) Infantry Regiment in Potsdam. With this band, he played at the 1934 NSDAP party congress (Reichsparteitag) in Nuremberg. In 1936, Tumforde became the head of the [a=Musikkorps Des Infanterie-Lehr-Regiments] (band of the infantry training regiment), which was stationed in the Olympic Village in Berlin and played for foreign athletes during the Olympic Games. As a result, Tumforde, promoted to Stabsmusikmeister on November 1, 1938, became popular and made a number of recordings with his band for [l=Gloria], [l=Grammophon], and [l=Polydor] between 1936 and 1941. In 1942, when parts of his Lehr-Regiment joined the Infantry Division "Großdeutschland", Tumforde briefly took over the band of Infantry Regiment 178. When he reached age 60, he retired on Juli 1, 1942 and settled in Rathenow near Berlin. After the war, he moved back to Düsseldorf.

| Search | Add | 9 | Tomas Dahl | Tomas Dahl | TD, aka Tomas Dahl from Oslo, Norway has spent the last 20 years playing in various rocks bands, recording albums and touring the world. He started out playing drums, but soon took up guitar, bass, keys and singing. He also has his own one-man band called Caddy, where he writes everything, plays all the instruments, sings and produces. In the summer of 2015 he released his solo album to rave reviews, and Norwegian press appointed it the "album of the summer". Sometime in the late 90s, tired of being in bands, rehearsing and touring, he was introduced by friends to the Global Underground series. Already loving bands like Kraftwerk, this was a great way to get the inspiration back. Getting on a different musical path, deep diving into electronic music, learning about its history and how a DJ can keep a crowd on a dancefloor for hours on end. 15 years later, still loving everything from Frank Sinatra and The Beach Boys to Detroit techno, progressive house and ambient, he combines elements from his many influences to create a sound of his own.... |

| Search | Add | 9 | Han Epskamp | Han Epskamp | Life-work is a musical project founded by Dutch songwriter Han Epskamp, the name coming from songwriting being his life's work and also stating that the topics of the songs deal with life in general. When producer Tim Ellis asked him late 2009 if he could use some help on the production of his songs it resulted in the first recording, the ballad 'Wonder where you are' with soprano Karen Orchin. Han liked her voice so much that she recorded a second song: 'My heart', which was remixed by Pete Hammond and got to number 4 in the Euro-HiNRG Top 50 club chart in October 2010. Afterwards 'Wonder where you are' was also remixed by Pete Hammond in a dance version and got to number 2 in the Euro-HiNRG Top 50 club chart in February 2011. 'You won't see my tears' then was especially written for Karen's voice, reaching Music Week's Commercial Pop Club Chart at 25 in September 2011. The fourth single 'Lost in Time' followed and now the fifth production is ready: 'Woman of Secrets'. The Club Junkies Club Mix already entered the 21st position in the Euro-HiNRG Top 50 club chart even before it's release. Last year the reggae track 'Dolce Far Niente'was released. Currently Life-work is preparing an album. |

A selection of strong influences: Watching Westbam live remixing a Madonna tune using three turntables at the same time stuck to his mind. The use of real life samples and turn it into music by Depeche Mode and The Art Of Nose. The creative art to work with samples of Fatboy Slim and Moby and the art of creating 12 inches by Trever Horn and Stephen Lipson at ZTT He opened the virtual club dancearmada with live transmissions on Saturdays and started to release own tracks in 2018 He also does remixes and compilation of mixtapes. |

He did not complete his gardener's apprenticeship and otherwise worked in various jobs in industry and psychiatry, as informal training for writers, so to speak. First book published in 1981: the untranslated documentary novel "23-salen". Lives in Hamburg since 1985. Married to [a=Gabriele Haefs]. (1956–) is considered one of the great storytellers of contemporary Norwegian literature. His books are characterised by powerful, realistic descriptions of the seamier side of life. The protagonists are often outsiders – described with sympathetic insight and warmth. Loneliness and friendship are expressed in a concise literary style. Since his literary début in 1981 Ambjørnsen has written 18 novels and three collections of short stories, as well as several books for children and youth. The author’s great breakthrough came in 1986 with the novel Hvite niggere (White Trash) – a crass exposure of the plight of that unfortunate soul seeking out an existence in sub-cultures. His most successful novels in recent years is the quartet about the odd-ball Elling; critically acclaimed and very well sold to Ambjørnsen’s wide audience. Ambjørnsen has introduced something entirely new with his books about Elling. His stories contain less external plot, but proportionately more crazy inventiveness and absurd humour. The entire Elling series has been made into three movies. The first one has been shown in many countries and was nominated to an Oscar for best foreign picture in 2001. The theatre play Elling has appeared on stage at several theatres around Europe.

| Search | Add | 9 | Simões Da Hora | Joaquim Simões da Hora | Portuguese organist, producer and recording supervisor for classical releases. Joaquim Simões da Hora (1941-1996) stood out in the last quarter of the 20th century as the greatest Portuguese performer of Iberian Early Music for organ. In this respect his qualities as a performer came to be known in various European countries and even in the United States of America. Working within the ‘new’ Early Music current that arose in the second half of the 20th century, he was one of a generation of performers whose interpretations were founded on the use of historical techniques andinstruments, such as Jordi Savall, Ton Koopman and José Luís Uriol. His performances were recorded in four albums, which demonstrate his considerable capacities as a performer. Joaquim Simões da Hora’s professional activity also extended to the domain of pedagogy, in which he reformed the organ class of the Conservatório Nacional, where he taught between 1977 and 1995. In addition to his activities as performer and teacher, throughout his career he was deeply involved in publicising the heritage of Portuguese music, especially in relation to the organ, as well as in producing and providing musical supervision of many of the sound recordings of classical music published in Portugal in the last three decades of the 20th century. Joaquim Simões da Hora left this world in April 1996. He remains, however, as one of the great organists of recent history. His legacy is felt in the impetus he gave to awakening the interest of young performers of Early Music for organ, in his sound recordings and in his promotion of musical life in Portugal in relation to the organ from the mid 90s onwards, through the systematic creation of music festivals for organ. in HORA, Tiago Manuel da (2010). "Joaquim Simões da Hora: Intérprete, Pedagog e Divulgador", Universidade Nova de Lisboa (UNL-FCSH), Master Degree Thesis. |

| Search | Add | 9 | Gosia Bartosik | Gosia Bartosik | Gosia Bartosik (b. 1986) is an artist working in the medium of drawing, painting, installation, linocut and tattooing. She graduated from the Faculty of Painting and Printmaking at the University of Arts in Poznań in 2012, and she is currently a doctoral student at the same school. Her works are featured in solo and group exhibitions, print publications, street art and other activities going “outside galleries”. Bartosik’s works are a critical commentary to human sensitivity and insensitivity. The artist ask questions about the human condition and points to the way of treating the world, animals and other people. She conveys her observations usually in misshapen forms, “not entirely human, not entirely animal, biologically broken”. Bartosik is one of the foremost promoters of contemporary drawing in Poland. As the artist emphasizes herself, drawing is a separate language and delight. It provides opportunity to exist between several realities. |
