Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 7 | overdriven dreams | Uroš Kostić | overdriven dreams is the moniker of Uroš Kostić, an ambient composer from Niš, Serbia. After many years of studying the potential of his main instrument and various other devices throughout work with several bands and projects, most prominently with the post-rock band There., he started utilizing those sounds in his solo work. overdriven dreams seeks to bring the infinite sound fields of phantasmagoric dreams to life. In the process, he relies primarily on experimentation in the field of post-minimalism, drone, and ambient by working with 4-track cassette tape loops, field recordings, and reel-to-reel tape loops. His pieces are characterized by deep ostinato lines and meandering lush textures permeated with string instruments, pianos, and choirs. For his album “symphony // of // murmurings” which was released by the Netherlands label Slow Tone Collages he collaborated with one of the most prolific experimental artists Lawrence English as a mastering engineer. The second album released in April 2024, "four trembles on an imagined occasion," is the result of intensive exploration of sound and the tools used to create it. Utilizing four-channel cassette loops, a sine wave generator, a handful of pedals, and various instruments with the aid of contact microphones, Overdriven Dreams has crafted a complex tapestry of sound textures and layers. Each song is carefully constructed to convey deep emotions and stimulate the listener's imagination. In a short time, he established himself as one of the currently most active ambient musicians in the Balkan region, above all at numerous performances around Europe, where he shared the stage with well-known artists such as Pan-American (ex-Labradford), Alison Cotton, and Wojciech Rusin. |

In 2004, Machaidze presented his new alter ego, [b]Erast[/b], and released [r=267413] and [r=329573] EPs (second and third releases on a recently established [l=Laboratory Instinct] label). Erast is a reference to Erast Fandorin, a main character of a critically acclaimed book series by [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/4979940]Boris Akunin[/url]. Nika released [r=506712], a debut full-length album by Erast, in 2006. In 2009, Nikakoi returned with two releases on Laboratory Instinct: 2xCD compilation [r=2081020] (best tracks from both albums plus unreleased material), and a new double ambient album [r=2081000]. This work marked a significant shift in Nikakoi's artistic style and consisted of two rhythmless ambient tracks and a collection of sublime piano-based electronic soundscapes on the second disc. In 2012, Nikakoi released a new album in Japan – [r=3558829], a collaboration with Tokyo-based musician [a=Coppé]. His most recent work, [r=9289110] EP, was released on [l=Transfigured Time] in 2016. Nika Machaidze composed soundtracks for Archil Kavtaradze, Salome Machaidze, Zaza Rusadze and other notable Georgian movie directors. He also wrote music for several theatrical plays, such as [i]The Park[/i] by [a=Botho Strauß]. Machaidze is closely tied and had been collaborating extensively with [a=Natalie Beridze] (also known as [a=TBA (2)] and [a=Tusia Beridze]) and [a=George Dzodzuashvili] ([a=Post Industrial Boys]). |

| Search | Add | 7 | Richard Groove | Gabriel Madrid | Since the 90's, Gabriel Madrid aka Richard Groove has been influenced with Hip Pop and Rap music, but through a small change of artists like Orbital and Kraftwerk, it gave him a small path to come other bunch of artists like Thomas Bangalter and Laurent Garnier that made him go to more urban sounds where the French and Disco House will mark him for life. This gave him the decision of becoming a dj and play this kind of music to the under side of the scene in Santiago ( Chile ) and using the dj nick " Daft Groove ". Through more homemade parties Gabriel starts to show the house genre with good results, but after contacting people in the Santiago's scene it gives him the oportunity to play at a real club with a good crowd as it was the " Bar Forestal " club. That's how his disc jokey work starts and where it comes more different oportunities to play in knowable clubs as "Cresta Negra" ( Rancagua ), " Punta De Lobos " ( Pichilemu ), " Pagano " ( Valparaiso ) y tambien tocar en eventos masivos como "Urban Rave " ( 2003 - 2004 - 2005 ), "Musica Desde El Oriente " ( 2008 ), Gay Parade Chile ( 2008 - 2009 - 2010 - 2011 ). Though his music creation didn't started until 2006 and it follows as a long process until 2010 where his sound production starting to really get well done and with mayor influences like Daft Punk, High Caliber, DJ Sneak and others. With a lot of work and much promotion, Richard Groove gave his first single called " Banged " and with this he signed more than one contract inside and outside of Chile, labels like Sugar Shock Digital ( USA ) and Agua y Sed ( Chile ). Gabriel continues to produce music as he still gives his mark as a dj in the chilean club's dancefloors. |

| Search | Add | 7 | Astronaut Ice Cream Headache | Astronaut Ice Cream Headache was a Milwaukee area band started by two friends, Mike and Dave, who grew up together. The duo began making humorous, demented, keyboard-based music in the autumn of 1997. They put out two full-length tapes (White Boy Keyboard Jazz and Nobody's Perfect) and one compilation track on Beeshu Records. Before the musical concern called it quits around 2003—and while Mike was both in and out of the lineup—they managed to record several other tracks of varying quality. Most of these songs were shelved at the time but some have been posthumously released, with the occasional revamping where possible. During their heyday as a duo, Astronaut Ice Cream Headache played over a dozen live shows in Wisconsin and were largely appreciated among their friends and associates. Their music is now widely available on compilations and the odd single here and there from Kaji-Pup Records. | |

| Search | Add | 7 | Galaxy Unit | Zdravko Minev (In Cyril. Здравко Минев) | Galaxy Unit is a Goa Trance side project by Zdravko Minev - a member of the legendary thrash legend Crash, conquering the top of the Bulgarian extreme scene in the early 90s. Zdravko discovers a new vocation - the computers and it fundamentally alters his musical destiny. He is completely devoted to digital activities and although this is still a very exotic way to make music back in the days in Bulgaria, he encounters total empathy. Alongside with his most successful industrial project that follows - Alien Industry, where he plays one of the guitars and adds unique electronic flavors, he is also the beginning of another emblematic for the Bulgarian club and underground scene names – R.O.B.T.F. Although, the band becoming popular later with the unique Drum ‘n’ Bass progression session style in a couple of albums and many live performances, R.O.B.T.F. actually started in the mid-1990s in Zdravko’s living room. He was recording & mixing mad-ramping acid and goa influenced patterns, layered over an earth-pumping old-school analog beat. This “electronic amok” and the album release occasionally by a friend will become later the characteristic for the 1990s Bulgarian tech trance style that will influence other Bulgarian artists to come like Тибетски Сърца (Tibetan Hearts, etc.) and will overheat dancefloors for years. In late 2010s Zdravko’s curiosity and eagerness to experiment further with Goa Trance returned to the source and he started producing again under the name of Galaxy Unit when spotted and hunted out by the Bulgarian thematic label Goa Galaxy. Better is yet to come as the artist is still active in 2017. |

| Search | Add | 7 | Orchester Roy Livingstone | The Orchestra Roy Livingstone does not seam to have been a stable formation under one conductor or musical director, as identical recordings have also been released from and under the names [a3692711], [a4082987], [a10681873] and [a14437832], so it seems obvious that the name Roy Livingstone was used for performances by different formations in order to establish a brand or recognition value. There is no doubt, that composer, orchestra leader and producer [a1030696] had the main responsibility for these recordings, as he was involved in a significant number of titles as producer and composer, also under various pseudonyms. Other musicians and composers involved were, for example, [a823891], [a443327], [a2057027], [a320184], [a1016199] and [a382410]. | |
