Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Derek Sea | Derek Sea is a well accomplished musician - vocalist, and performer. Derek Sea was introduced to the magical world of music by his father and began playing drums at the age of 8. It was two years before Derek began banging on the piano, and at the age of 12 was playing jazz standards with a local jazz band lead by his father. Derek has opened up and toured with some of the hottest groups in the recording industry, like Roger Troutman and Zapp, H-Town, 69 Boyz, and B-Rock and The Bizz. Because Derek Sea blends so many different kinds of music together so well- southern R&B, with a touch of Jazzy blues and hip-hop, definitely sets this artist performance apart from the others.

Search | Add | 4 | Céleste Gatier | Céleste Gatier is a french experimental artist from Paris. Her music focuses on the fragility of the sound object and the live realisation of an electronic instrument that is transformed at every moment. Each tiny gesture generates new noisy phenomena, unstable and unpredictable, as a result of cuts, interference and short circuits. Voices are added to the crackling white noise, in a strange dialectic between the coldness of white frequencies and poetic words. Céleste also tackles other hybrid performative practices, such as sound lecture-performances.

Search | Add | 4 | AROCK | Born and raised in San Diego, CA, AROCK began learning to DJ at the age of 12 and quickly found himself immersed in the culture and lifestyle. Over the years, he has channeled his admiration for the art form into various businesses and successfully built the subscription-based music service dedicated to the DJ community, BPM Supreme. As an innovator, creator, and entrepreneur, AROCK very much considers himself to be a student of life with no intentions to stop evolving as a businessman, a creative, and an artist. In fact, AROCK has recently worked behind the scenes in the studio as an aspiring but ambitious music producer, all while continuing to cultivate his existing businesses, which are currently expanding, outward from San Diego and into the Los Angeles area. AROCK’s ultimate goal is always to keep moving forward and never look back, knowing that tomorrow’s possibilities are endless.

Search | Add | 4 | Gabriella Besanzoni | Gabriella Besanzoni | Italian mezzo-soprano and contralto, born 20 September 1888 in Rome, Italy and died 8 July 1962 in Rome, Italy. Gabriella Besanzoni studied at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome where she was taught by Alessandro Maggi and Ibilda Brizzi. She made her debut at Viterbo in 1911 as Adalgisa. Because of her expansive middle register and rich low tones she decided to restudy and appeared as a mezzo-soprano at the Teatro Costanzi Rome in 1913 (Ulrica). She was very successful at La Scala, as Orfeo and Amneris, and in 1932 as Carmen and Mignon. In the 1910s and ‘20s Besanzoni was a star of the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires and other South American opera houses. Her roles included Dalila, Carmen, Amneris, Lola, La Cieca, Preziosilla, Marina, Leonora in La Favorita, Mignon, Adalgisa, Isabella in L’Italiana in Algeri, not to forget the roles in the first performances of Zandonai’s Francesca da Rimini and Marinuzzi’s Jacquerie. She returned to sing at the Colón until 1935. The artist also appeared at the Met opposite Caruso in the season 1919/20, but she was not successful. She also made guest appearances at the opera houses of Chicago, Havana and Berlin. Carmen was the role that brought her fame and it was this part she chose for her farewell performance at the Terme di Caracalle in Rome (1939). After her retirement she dedicated herself to teaching. |

Search | Add | 4 | Pociashanty | Founder and owner of PCH RECORDS LABEL. Member of Mkn Brigade Sound System from Brescia (Italy). Really good dj and producer. His style was a mix between mental, hypnotic melodies, distorted kicks and a lot of trance influences. Dj Pociashanty was born in Italy 13 June 1965 In the beginning of the '90 he started to appreciate electronic music. In the '90s ,with Pippo dj (from Acid Drop sound system), Pociashanty started to play in the best club of Italy to spread the first techno music. In 1994 started to play in little parties. Only vinyl sets.In 96 Pociashanty had for gift his first pc. Than he started to produce his own music with an old pc and just 3 softwares The beginning was not so exciting because the experimental sound produced by Pociashanty was not so appreciated. |

Search | Add | 4 | Johnny Aladdin | John B. Alagna | Johnny Aladdin b. Nov. 27, 1914, Monessen, PA, d. Jan. 14, 1987, Hilton Head Island, SC. Johnny started playing the piano at age five. About 1930, at age 16, Johnny auditioned in Pittsburgh for the Chicago based Husk O'Hare band. He toured with them for four years as the featured pianist and arranger. He also composed many of the band's songs. He attended school on the road, returning home just long enough to finish high school. Later, he also made time to attend Chicago's American Conservatory of Music. After the O'Hare band broke up, he went to work with the Larry Funk Orchestra, out of Cleveland, OH, for three and a half years. There, he worked with music newcomers Vaughn Monroe and Helen O'Connell. Over the years he also worked with the such Bands as The Al Trace Band, about 1946-47 (where Al gave him the "Aladdin" moniker), The Gray Gordon Orchestra, and 'The Eric Langer Orchestra', about 1948-1950. While the piano was his primary instrument, he was also accomplished at: Trumpet, Trombone and Baritone horn. He studied with concert pianist, Professor Leo Ornstein of Philadelphia and he earned a music teaching degree under Ornstein's tutelage. During World War 2, he was a Master Sergeant attached to the 94th Army Ground Forces, then stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. There he organized (as the pianist) a six piece band that toured for three years, with Dick Powell as the movie-star singer, entertaining the troops. This little Army band, called "The Cracker Dust Six", won top honors in a nationwide contest being judged by none other than Benny Goodman. After the war, he formed his own New York based 17 piece Big Band known as the "Johnny Aladdin's Society Band". Among the well known clubs and hotels of the East Coast area they played were the Drake Hotel, the Aquarium, The Mt. Washington, Coney Island, and Umbriago's. When the band went on tour, it often included Chicago hotels such as the Blackstone, the La Salle, and the Ambassador. The band played a 32 week return engagement at the Bismarck Hotel. Starting in the late 1950's, with the ending of the Big Band era, he switched his focus from Big Band and Swing music to smaller trios of Piano, Upright Bass, and Drums playing dinner and dancing music (with a strong leaning toward Broadway Show tunes), at the big hotels in Nassau, Bahamas and all over South Florida. Johnny cut two L.P. records and two 45's during his career. While mainly recalled today as a band leader, he was also a fine song composer. Later, he also wrote commercial Jingles. He was a true gentlemen in every respect, and a musician who was second-to-none. Johnny was 73 when he died. He's buried at the Veterans National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC. |

Search | Add | 4 | Louse Detection | John McDonnell | Louse Detection was a project led by New York-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist John McDonnell, primarily active in 2011. Originally meant to be a plunderphonics project (which would later be realized in future project Dawktah), Louse Detection combined elements of experimental, electronic, and indie rock, all drenched in lo-fi. From May to July 2011, he recorded his self-titled debut full-length album, which was released on August 2nd, 2011, on the former MrHappyFace Records label. Between this, he contributed a few remixes of songs by Bye-Product, laid down guest vocals for a collaborative track with NintyScreen, and recorded some tracks for two MrHappyFace Records compilations. Though the project was set to have more releases in the form of EPs, they've never fully materialized, and by the following year, John McDonnell removed the Louse Detection record from Bandcamp. In 2013, the project had ended, with John pursuing different projects, including Dawktah since late 2011. |

Search | Add | 4 | Gtarzee | Who is Gtarzee? Gtarzee is Tim Norrgrann - the solo artist. Tim Norrgrann is best known as the co-founder, composer, occasional lyricist, lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the Finnish-Canadian hard rockers Forth. Co-writing some of their most memorable songs, Tim is building a reputation of writing songs that are melodic, beautiful, powerful and yet easy listening. Tim started playing guitar early on, but switched to bass in the early 2000’s and joined two bands of different musical styles; the pop rock band Beneath the Bed and the progressive rock band Ethereal. Tim switched back to lead guitar after joining the hard rock band Naked Idol in 2008. Continuing his musical adventures Tim picked up the bass again and recorded the bass guitar for the song 'Voittaja' by Kultakypärä. The song 'Voittaja' was the 2010 theme song for Fintoto (horse racing in Finland). In august 2010 Tim picked up the guitar once again and formed The Roc with Canadian vocalist Brian Forth. A few years later the band changed its name, at the suggestion of Tim, to Forth. Up until today, Forth has released three albums; the debut album "Road Stories" (2014), the sophomore album "Captivity" (2019) and the newly released third album "Forth" (2021). Now the musical adventures of Tim Norrgrann continue alongside of Forth as the solo artist Gtarzee.

Search | Add | 4 | Kevin Oneel | Kevin Neely | In the Southeast United States, musical tradition runs as deep as the rivers that flow into the Gulf of Mexico. Generations of talented artists hone their craft, inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Tennessee River Valley, the Emerald Coast, Bayou Country, or whatever their local surroundings may be. Small communities all along the Appalachian Mountains are home to musicians who bring their own touch to sounds created by their ancestors from all across the world. As time passes, the heritage of the South continues to evolve under the loving care of new generations of musicians, all eager to put their own stamp on the musical tradition of their forefathers. Kevin Oneel is no exception. Kevin calls upon the memories of not only modern Electronic Music to work his craft, but traditional Southern styles like Bluegrass, Gospel, Country and Zydeco. A firm believer that no one style can stand alone on its own merits, Oneel always looks to use different flavors and different feels from his roots to influence artist progression. Aside from staying true to his roots, Kevin also tries to make sure he always has fun while making his music. Oneel is a firm believer in not taking himself too seriously, nor his music. Kevin Oneel believes too many artists these days forget to do the one thing they expect their listeners to do, and that’s simply enjoying music. Not only an accomplished producer with releases on labels like Ascension, PWM, NDM, Uncovered, Horris, Universal, BTU, Tektak and MK837, Kevin Oneel is a well rounded DJ talent also. His 14+ years of experience have taken him all over to perform for appreciative audiences everywhere. Kevin has appeared on radio shows around the world, and currently hosts “CircuitBreaker,” a monthly podcast on tastyfresh.com. |

Search | Add | 4 | Blood Bullet | Blood Bullet is a California-based project by Isiah Zombie (vocals, lyrics, mixing) and Brandon Dean (guitar, bass). The two began working together in 2012 when they recorded tracks for a horror soundtrack titled "[r=8838806]," released in 2013 under the band name "[a=isiah zombie & brandon dean]," The soundtrack was an instrumental mix of rock and electronic songs that were infused with a Halloween vibe. Immediately after it was released, the duo began recording songs with a different purpose in mind: to create a concept rock album complete with lyrics and vocals. They would do this under the moniker "Blood Bullet" which was meant to be the beginning of a new adventure, hence the debut album name "[r=8838850]." The songwriting and recording process was different on "Enter the Venture" than it was from their first project. Rather than creating songs separately and adding them together on the end product, each song on "Enter the Venture" was closely worked on by the two until they both agreed the songs were the best they could be. Isiah Zombie's lyrical approach revolves around themes involving loneliness, revenge, depression and death usually with the hint that there is light at the end of the tunnel. The result was an 11-track album that tells the narrative of a man who is struggling to break free from within a coma after a tragic incident. The story has the suffering man on his death bed as he comes face to face with his maker and he realizes his only choice: "Should I strive to stay alive or will my loved ones be afraid of what I've become?" The lyrics to each song were written before any of the songs were recorded, ensuring that the meaning of the songs stayed intact no matter how the song ended up sounding. Brandon Dean had many influences that he incorporated throughout the album. From the ballads of Metallica, to the heavy riffs of Soundgarden and Rage Against the Machine, to the delicate side of Jimi Hendrix, the style of each song was passed down from a legend. His guitar solos are prominently featured on all the tracks as they soar over the rhythm section with purpose. The music is only half of the Blood Bullet experience. The other half comprises of the artwork, masterfully done by [a=davidr xv] who injects the characters in the narrative with color and life. Guided only by simple sketches by Isiah Zombie, DavidR XV took these and created a new world which reflects the song's overall ideas into images within a 24-page booklet. Each song gets two pages of art with all lyrics included. It is available for free as a digital PDF file when the album is downloaded via Bandcamp. Without an idea how the album would end up sounding, Isiah Zombie and Brandon Dean let the songwriting and recording process take them on a journey which would ultimately build the foundation of what's next to come from Blood Bullet.

Search | Add | 4 | Phase II Phase | Phase to Phase begins to take shape in early 2010, when Jorge Gómez and Jose Luis Gallera, after leaving behind their time in the group ARIANNE, decide to shape a project that has been around them for a long time. Jose L. Gallera, there was already formed part of previous projects together with Alfredo Clemente and Zalo López, in formations such as Alma Cheyenne or REQUEST, this band, which won in 1996 the famous Villa de Madrid in its Rock category, also obtaining the award to the best song of the contest. The original REQUEST germ was born in Stockholm, Sweden where Zalo Lopez is originally from, where he grew up and he lived until he arrived in Madrid in 1995. Alfredo Clemente, in addition to collaborating in projects of other musicians, he focused his profession, to the composition of music for television and commercial spots. That project consists of creating a band of hard melodic rock, which they have heard and longed for so much, taking into account, as the current Spanish market has behaved differently. The search for the melody and vocal harmonies, together with a forceful rhythmic base, induces them to seek people with the same musical concerns, and they find them, with Zalo and Alfredo, Although, these compensate with forcefulness and powerful rhythms, within their tastes, thus creating the contrast, as well as perfect fusion. In 2010 they recorded their first demo of four songs, which is followed by their first CD entitled "Origin", released independently in 2013, after good critics and many performances the band decides to sign with The Fish Factory record company to edit "Face It "in 2017, after a while the band decides to leave the label to continue their own path, the impas of the pandemic makes everything remain on standby until 2021 when they recruit a new singer to start recording songs for a future new CD .

A couple of months later joined the brothers Pawel (ex Decay) as a singer and Espin (ex Mouchys) as a bass guitar player. And things turned to serious work. In September 2004 the group recorded their first mini-CD Good Time To Wake Up. In October 2004 Dany took his place as a second guitarist. One more change followed, Ritchie replaced Espin, who quit. The Bad Face was stabilized and established. Since Spring 2005 Bad Face has become ready for public performances. In the end of 2005 Bad face recorded two-songs promo Speak With Us. The CD also included a video Speak With Me. Guitarist Dany finished in January 2007. Bad Face decided to carry on as a four men group. It is good to have more space on the stage anyway. Summer 2007, the crucial moment - first CD Emotions Burn was released. At the same time a new face came in Bad Face - guitarist Zuhan.
