Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Golden Staters | Barbershop Harmony Society's 1972 International Quartet Champion. First organized in 1960 with Jack Lang on tenor, Joe Rook on lead, Buddy Yarnell on baritone, and Mike Senter on bass. Mike Senter organized the group and was the musical arranger of the quartet. In 1961, personnel changes began and Joe Sipots replaced Joe Rook as lead. A year later, brothers, Gary and Jack Harding joined as tenor and baritone. Lead number three, Jim Meehan, then joined them in 1963. The Golden Staters began competing in 1962 and won the fall Far Western District championship in 1963. They qualified for their first international contest and came in 7th place. They came in 6th place in 1965. Following the 1965 international contest, Jim Meehan left the quartet. After Jim Meehan left the quartet, Ken Ludwick joined as the new lead and they began their contest climb. They rose to 4th place bronze medalists in 1966. They slipped back into 5th in 1967 but jumped up to 3rd in 1968. During this time, they released their first record entitled, “Oh How We Roared In The 20’s.” In 1969, they were awarded with 2nd place silver medals, then tragedy struck. Ken Ludwick was involved in an automobile accident which forced him to have to leave the quartet. They sat out the 1970 international contest hoping to find a new lead. In late 1970, the Golden Staters found their new lead, Milt Christensen. Milt Christensen came to the Golden Staters from the recently disbanded “Salt Flats”, a comedy quartet from Salt Lake City, Utah. They placed 3rd with Milt in 1971. They finally won it all in 1972 in Atlanta, Georgia. They released their second album following their championship which was titled, “Two Sides Two Sounds.” The Golden Staters retired in 1975. They came out of retirement in 1978 and performed again until May of 1979 when Mike Senter suddenly died at age 39. Jack Harding died in 2003 at age 71 and Milt Christensen died in 2018 at age 86. Today only Gary Harding survives. They released two compilation albums after their active years. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Ni Zheng | ni zheng (b. 1997, cn) is a sound artist and composer of electroacoustic music, creating sonic rituals that conjure the erotic and poetics of the body and muse on the carnality and grotesque of the flesh. her practice calls for a descent into untamed territory, dwelling in and listening intently to the swampy pool of undead, uncivilized feelings and emotions she considers her reserve, and exorcising raw impulses, negativity, rage, messiness as a libation and a tactic against all forms of domestication. ni is devoted to celebrating and catalyzing mystical state of ecstatic communication with both fellow humans and non-humans, she surrenders herself unconditionally to deviant and altered states of knowledge — intimate, sensual, relational, and immanent — in encounters with the other, the sacred, occulted, and chthonic realms of nature and the land she inhabits. her mediums of communication includes vocal performance that is visceral, feral, and atavistic, as well as sounds gathered through field recordings during visits to desolate and ravaged locations, and a fusion of electronic and acoustic instruments. she currently lives in san diego, california attending a phd program in music composition at uc san diego. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Pauline Oduro | "Paulina Oduro is a talented and evocative performer with over two decades of singing under her belt. Paulina moved to London at the age of nine, with her diplomat father and mother. Her interest in music began at an early age.Recognising her talent and enthusiasm for music, her parents encouraged her, in addition to her normal education, to undertake formal tuition in music, learning to play classical piano. Her main interest in music was to singing. However, as with most parents, they insisted on her having a more stable career. Paulina therefore trained as a nurse but after three years in that profession she felt music was her proper calling and at the age of 21, she quit nursing to become a professional singer. She joined a reggae band called Casanova and within six months they released their first single. Since then Paulina has sang with a number of reggae and soca bands. Her pedigree includes performances with such greats like Calypso King Mighty Sparrow, soca favourite Arrow, Lord Kitchener, Alexander O'neil and renowned Trinidadian singer David Rudder. Her silky smooth vocals have also attracted most leading Ghanaian artists to record with her. Paulina was also one of the lead female vocals with the Western Diamonds, the top Hi-life group in Ghana from the early to mid-1990s. Her solo debut CD, Woman Power, released in March 1999, was a reflection of her various musical influences and experiences over the years. It contained most genres of African music. Sung in both English and her native Fanti language in her inimitable vocal style, the CD could be described as the ultimate in modern African music. She has been shuttling Ghana and UK back and forth. When in Ghana, she performs alongside celebrated Ghanaian musicians like Paapa Yankson as well as up and coming artists. She also lends her experience as a quest judges to several competitions in Ghana. From http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/people/person.php?ID=618 | |

| Search | Add | 4 | It's A Living Thing | Rodrigo Falcao, Damon Morris, Monashee Sun, Alissa Raya, Anju Singh | Is a band on a mission. Beginning as a looping psych-rock 2-piece, the bands exhilarating live set captivated music nerds, dance-party-goers & critical viewers alike over their first year of local shows. Spontaneous & driving, armed with Rodrigo Falcao's accomplished samba influenced rock-dance rythyms, threaded with Damon Morris's quasi-electronic sounding yet completely organic melodic elements, the duo strode bravely into unknown territory. The 6-song EP "You don't Have To" is a perfect cross-section of their audacity. Sink or Swim's Disco party sing-along slides gradually into evil stoner-rock psychadelic meltdown, like an inevitable comedown from a stratospheric high. The opening track "Relative Escape" blends minimalist looping with ethereal vocal harmonies, before catapulting into a stomping apocalyptic rock theme. Another track "Doubletime", is a 2.5 minute (completely improv) 70's power-psych jam, utilizing a loop from a different song, played at 2X the speed. The EP captures perfectly the "anything goes, & everything counts" improvisational spirit of the band, simultaneously admitting vulnerability & skyrocketing imperviously into the wilds of outer space! After pushing the potential of live looping near-to the limit, & being in exclusive musical isolation for a year, the boys began slowly taking on outside involvements again. The living process dictated a period of cultivation & outside energy. 5 shows in a row, were performed with unique lineup & material each time! This was highly exhausting, but fruitful. The new sound is deeper, & wider, bringing in chorale, folk, classical, & other influences, yet retains all the bombastic energy of the original Duo. The new members are: Alissa Raya, bringing her skills as a drummer (Organ Trail) to the rythmic bass pulses, has replaced the loops & freed the band from the linear process they required. She is also blessed with an amazing strong voice, that picks you up gently but carries you roughly all the way down to the soul south. Monashee Sun, on violin, (& yamaha portatone!) adding her accomplished fiddle trills along with a highly developed sensitivity to dynamics & detail, not to mention her high-alto range otherworldy harmonies. Anju Singh, on Cello, as the "5th member". She's busy with bands, (I/I, Greyscales, & National Shield) that take her partially away from IALT, But her skills as an improviser, experimenter, & L.earn I.t Y.ourself classical musician makes her the perfect addition to the Living layer cake of sound. |
