Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | In Kit Form | Chris Marsh | In Kit Form is the experimental music project of Chris Marsh, which was started in 2005. Early works saw the use of bursts of digital noise, distortion, and audio deconstruction. However over time projects began to concentrate more on deep-focused extended drones, and the manipulation of tones using the dialogue of dissonance to create conversational undertones over longer periods of time. |

Search | Add | 2 | Robert T. Reilly | US author (1923-2004). From bethlehembooks.com: Robert (Bob) T. Reilly was born in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1923. During World War II, he enlisted in the Army and saw service as a First lieutenant with the 78th Division in Europe. He was a POW for six months, and received numerous decorations. After the war Reilly completed his Ph.D. at Boston University. Reilly's Irish interests involved the American Committee for Irish studies and the Irish American Cultural Institute, where he held a national directorship. Reilly lived in Ireland and also led tours there from 1966. It was when he was teaching Irish Literature at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, that he had the inspiration to write Red Hugh. "I did it as a bet with myself that I could write a book," he recalled. His first attempt at the story of Hugh O'Donnell was rejected by a publisher, so he tossed the manuscript out and started over. This time the tale was successful and became the first of several historical fiction books (Irish Saints, Fighting Prince of Donegal, Rebels in the Shadows). Having married Jean McKenzie of Omaha, Nebraska after World War II, Reilly and his wife had ten children and many grandchildren. Robert Reilly died in 2004.

Search | Add | 2 | Frank Dailey | Big band and swing violinist and bandleader and owner of Meadowlark swing dance club in New Jersey. Born 1901 in Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA. Died on February 27, 1956 in Montclair, New Jersey, USA (55 years old). He made his first broadcast over station WJZ, then located in Newark. In 1926, he was playing at the Knickerbocker Grill in New York. In April of 1931, He and three of the original members of his orchestra bought the old Pavillion Royal in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, and made it a home spot for the band, rechristening it "The Meadowbrook." His orchestra was then dubbed "Frank Dailey and his Meadowbrook Orchestra" and broadcast three to four times weekly over CBS networks. Dailey was the figurehead of the Meadowlark. It became more famous then Dailey's orchestra as it became one of the hot spots in the country to play at and be at. It was one of the most important venues for dance bands throughout the 1930s and 1940s. Many big-name acts played there including Tommy Dorsey's Orchestra, Mal Hallett, Glen Gray's Casa Loma Orchestra, Red Norvn, Isham Jones, Llittle Jack Little, and others. Many recorded at the Meadowbrook and it was often attached to the title or releases such as "Jack Teagarden And His Orchestra Live at Frank Dailey's Meadowbrook". In 1937, Frank and his orchestra made front-page headlines all over the country by changing their style: although his orchestra was then rated one of America's top swing groups, he switched to a "sweet" style which he christend 'Stop 'n' Go." Swing was at the height of its popularity, but Dailey believed he had created a new style in dance rhythms. Within six months, they were as popular for their new style as their old.

From a very young age various types of music sounded to his ears. His parents from an early age listened to music every day and from then he started to understand and started listening to his personal choices of music, from rock, jazz, reggae , salsa, Latin, pop nearly all except opera! Turning 15 and with the appearance of electronic music which became a passion made him start to deal with djing and without wasting any time he spent a large sum of money to make his own studio to practice as a dj. He has played in many cafés, clubs and beach bars of the city and always wanted to bring other people on the trip of music because he has always thought that music is full emotions and has its own language. He both loves music and wants others to feel the absolute happiness he feels as well. His philosophy in music is to gradually excite his audience with appealing tunes in order to make them reach their peak with a lot of dancing and feelings which touch love and the beautiful musical journeys. His style is addaptable according to the venue and the audience,he plays for.His intentions are to see his audience enjoy in every way the musical journey which they have started... Later in life his friendships urged him to get involved in production which was actually a dream of his to be able to demonstrate creativeness through his love for electronic music, then began his own journey in production with the help of a producer friend. In 2016 he made his first production, «my dream" which was released by Retrolounge Records. It even had the honor in its debut to be remixed by a Greek Producer Christos Fourkis who at the end of the year «my dream" was honored in the best way by Traxsource # 14 globally in Afro house music. He still has a lot to give because his love for music is enormous.... The journey has just begun...

Search | Add | 2 | Fulvio Oliveira | The guitarist Fulvio Oliveira had his first contacts with the guitar at the age of 9 when he began attending private lessons. At age 11, with electric guitar, he was already listening to rock bands like Iron Maiden, AC / DC, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and other bands from the 70's, where he got the first chords and riffs. Since there were no lessons in the instrument and no material available to study, vinyl records were the greatest source of learning. He was meeting with friends to rehearse with his first band. At fifteen came interest for another sound, Blues, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny Winter and Jeff Beck were now the most listened to by the musician along with the instrumental rock of Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. Under this influence, Fulvio mounted his first Trio, preferred training by the guitarist.

Search | Add | 2 | per.du | per.du is a producer and DJ, record collector and music lover from Vienna, Austria. After first experiencing the joy of collecting music in 2009, he bought his set of turntables. Buying records mainly from the 70s and 80s, he then started sampling and interpreting these original records, transforming them into new music. Since he first released a track on the web in 2010, his audience has been growing steadily. Learning most craft autodidactically or by watching other producers, per.du emancipated from mainly remixing classic Hip Hop tracks to creating original modern funky music with an emphasis on bass and drums. Inspired by a wide range of genres from Afro-Beat to Jazz, Blues, Funk and Rock, he loves to spice up his productions by adding non-electronic instruments. Many tracks are composed and recorded in cooperation with local musicians. Being a student at the „Johann Sebastian Bach Music School“, he has recurring opportunities to jam with other music students, professionals and teachers at public jam-sessions. In 2013, he joined the Vienna-based collective NuBlends. Since 2014 they organize numerous parties in Vienna and a monthly clubbing, at the moment residing at Roxy Vienna. Contributing to most of the Nu Blends Releases and Compilations, he gained a lot of international attention remixing tracks and creating original music. In spring 2015 per.du released his first Extended Player, the „Bounce!-EP“, a more electronic, Glitch-inspired and funky interpretation of Hip Hop and Breakbeat. The DEBUT ALBUM “per.du”, an electronic as well as organic sounding mix of Nufunk, Hiphop, Breakbeat and some mellow beats, will be released September 1st 2015 on [l838622] per.du has been deejaying in some of Vienna’s finest clubs like the „Grelle Forelle“ or the Pratersauna. He enjoys spreading good vibes on and beside the dancefloor, playing out Funk along with headnodding Hip Hop and bouncing Glitch Hop. Seeing every party as a unique experience, he enjoys playing very different sets at each and every show. Contact&booking: therealperdu@gmail.com
