Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Moose Trio | The MOOSE TRIO was born in the fall of 2013 from the project of guitarist/singer/songwriter Fred Teste, later joined by bassist David Espinasse, then by drummer Benoit Cailleteau. Adopting the classic formula of the POWER TRIO and rejecting any temptation to lock the blues into a sort of nostalgic folklore of America in the 40s, the MOOSE produces original compositional work nourished by the psychedelic rock of the 70's. In the tradition of great bluesmen of today like Eric Gales or Warren Haynes, they open the blues to multiple influences, to offer highly electric and groovy music

Search | Add | 2 | Evoletah | Matt Cahill is an Australian singer/songwriter & composer. As a graduate of the Ryzard Pusz School of Percussion he has been actively involved with bands since the early eighties, although most notably in his 13 year tenure as 'Vocalist/Guitarist' with the multi award winning Australian band 'The Violets'. Disillusioned with the traditional 'band' format, he eventually formed EVOLETAH, not so much as a band but as a 'musical project' to record songs written for The Violets that had never been recorded. Having 'Cherry Picked' members, this resulted in the projects initial offering 'Fool's Errand'.

Search | Add | 2 | Colcheias Confusas | Formed by Alexandre Ferro ( guitars, keyboards and vocals ) and Érico Barbeitos ( vocals and bass ), the Colcheias Confusas performs a work focused on pop songs. Rock, reggae, funk, mingle and have no space in the Colcheias' sound. His lyrics portray the day-to-day of his components, bringing humorous hints to his themes. Without bothering with fads and styles, The duo's concern is to compose songs in which lyrics and melody can somehow "touch" people Beatles, the Brazilian Rock from the 80's and 90's are some influences of the band, which unites in their repertoire from heavy .. to children's songs !!! Search | Add | 2 | Chris Lowell | Chris Lowell’s hypnotic, organically textured blend of house and techno carries with it the collective influence of the deep and melodic sounds of Detroit. With an impressive catalog of releases including a spot on the legendary Movement Detroit Compilation, he discovered dance music in the late 90’s - one of the zeniths of the culture – in its storied birthplace, Belleville, Michigan. Chris’s music bears the hallmarks of Detroit’s legendary sound but also the sonic patchwork of his youth: Jazz, Motown, psychedelic rock, and 90’s punk rock. A diverse and dynamic musician, Chris has worked on all sides of the industry and brings an exceptional and historic perspective to everything he touches. A third-generation musician, he picked up saxophone and drums early in life. But he traded them in for a dirt bike as it appeared, he had a bright future in racing motocross ahead. Those plans were derailed in 1999 by a tragic racing accident. During his recovery a bright spot appeared when he discovered the rave movement, turntablism and deejaying. He immersed himself in the culture and soon rediscovered his love for creating music. The DIY spirit of dance music’s earliest innovators ran deep in Chris. As a son of an automotive industry electrical engineer, he began to tinker and solder together his own versions of classic drum machines and synths. As he learned to write dance floor moving beats, Chris also amassed an arsenal of kit. In 2012 he left his studio in Michigan behind for a fresh start in Brisbane, Australia. What he hasn’t left behind is his love for dance music. He continues to rock dance floors regularly and has quickly created a space for himself in the competitive Australian house and techno scene. His work with Let’s Get Minimal, IWTFA and local clubs has seen him light up the decks alongside such luminaries as Ray Kajioka, Tiefschwarz and Enrico Sangiuliano.
Search | Add | 2 | Teichmann + Soehne | Andi Teichmann, Hannes Teichmann, Uli Teichmann | Teichmann + Soehne's »Flows« is not so much the result of a collaborative process as it is a process in itself. Over the course of nine pieces, the [a6643]—[a38346] and [a30498]—and their father [a388396] repeatedly find common ground between the very different musical styles, sound aesthetics, and subcultural codes they have internalised throughout their lives. The source material out of which the album evolved was culled from several recordings of rehearsal sessions in preparation for the trio's concerts that took place between the years 2012 and 2022. The three added only a few overdubs to those recordings but edited them rigorously to both preserve and transform the spirit of their unlikely collaboration. The combination of Uli's background as a versatile jazz artist and multi-instrumentalist with his sons' penchant for dub techniques, modular synthesis, and live sampling as well as their interest in electronic dance music take on ever-different shapes. »Flows« released on the occasion of Uli's 80th birthday, is as joyful, lively and free-spirited as its makers. |

Musically born during the disco-funk era, he moved forward at the end of the '80s following the "just born" house/techno phenomena. In 1992 he approached to the underground house scene and works in the making of some tracks with other producers in his hometown. The first release was a housy track called "Free Your Mind" with the moniker of Glamour Inc. on Mordred Records in 1996 followed by other collaborations and releases on labels such as Dream Beat and Hole Subaltern Records and in 2014 he became part of Stereophonic Records crew. Today his sound is mainly influenced by deep house, Detroit techno, ambient, '70s jazz/funk and electronica but the good Disco days still lives inside his heart. |

Sisyphus Autopsy combined heavy, dark, Type O Negative'esque goth metal with extremely obscene, misogynistic lyrical themes mocking chauvinistic radical movements and groups such as MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way) and predating contemporary "incel" rhetorics. In 1997, [l=Sacrum Torch] released a limited-edition retrospective CD compilation, freeing the extreme music "from the tyranny of boy-meets-girl Female DJs of the world" (according to the humorous press release and faux band's historiography included in a foldout insert poster). Sisyphus Autopsy also participated in several cult underground movies, including Lisa Hammer's low-budget horror comedy musical Pus$Bucket in 1991 and, most recently, Attack of the Particle Disruptors (2017), one of the last cinematographic works of renowned experimental filmmaker and "Cinema of Transgression" founder [a=Nick Zedd].

The single went to the number 1 spot in The Netherlands during the summer of 1982, just weeks after the German original hit the peak position in the charts. The album [m=2144449] was compiled, and several singles followed, none as successful as the first. The album [r=11857357] was released in 1983 and the final single, [r=6340149], was issued in 1985. There were three singers voicing Angelique, as well as several other characters on the debut album. Jazz singer [a2624710] revealed she sang the number 1 hit [r=982802], while [a7749814] was the lead vocalist on the single's B-side, as well as on most other tracks of the first and second album. It is as-of-yet unknown who the singer on the final single was. The Angelique project was the most popular example of naughty or even vulgar Dutch parody songs, a trend that existed from the 1970s throughout the 1990s and, in some form, until today.
