Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 7 | Fitini | Raphaël Zadi | Fitini is an Ivorian singer-songwriter in the Zouglou style with comic but also seriousness. He is nicknamed The Creator. The artist has several times made people laugh through the "hits" such as: 2 glued, ... but especially with the title Tout mignon in which he humorously criticizes all the actors of the Ivorian political scene in the year 2000. One rumor has it that he is the composer of the 1er Gaou hit by [a=Magic System]. Indeed he also composes for other Zouglou artists. |

| Search | Add | 7 | King Alex | Alex Littlejohn | "King-Alex" was born July 29, 1934 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and passed away March 15, 2008. He grew up with his musical family in Forriday, Louisiana. At age 14, he moved to Kansas City and began his musical training with help from bass lessons from Claude "Fiddler" Williams. Formal training at UMKC's Conservatory of Music helped Alex refine his ability to play the bass and he was the first African-American bassist to play an electric bass in Kansas City through the Conservatory. He was a career musician living and working the rest of his life in Kansas City. He performed at local venues, regional and national blues and jazz festivals. He performed with the late Tommy Soul, Lester "Wizard" King, Albert Collins, B.B. King, Jerry Lee Lewis, Lawrence Wright and the Outlets, Leon Estelle, "Little-Joe" Robinson and Claude "Fiddler" Williams - just to name a few. His group The Turnpikes recorded a couple of sides in the late 1950's for the Central label, followed by more sides in the early 1960's for Spindle. There was a long gap of 15 years before recording a single for NMI in 1979 and another 15+ years before he entered the most productive era of recording, as a slew of full-length albums came out in in the 1990s and early 2000s. Littlejohn was inducted into the Elder Statesmen of Kansas City Jazz in 2002 along with former employer and life-long friend Richard "Dick" Berkley. |

| Search | Add | 7 | Rave Kommando | Rave Kommando is a hardcore techno band based in Barcelona. Its beginning dates back to 2014, where three friends who had known each other since the late '90s, united by the love of Hardcore Techno and the gabber movement, decided to create a musical group, contributing their musical knowledge through different elements and instruments. Rave Kommando was born from 3 restless minds that opt for the most underground, dark and industrial sound, covering practically all the bpm of the Hardcore genre. R.K.'s musical productions often contain messages against all existing politics and the established system, as well as mocking the current electronic music scene and those fake characters who call themselves "artists".On April 26, 2014 they debuted in a venue called Cosmik (Tarragona / Spain) performing their first live act, which was well received by the audience. [a=Darkinox] playing beats and tracks, [a=Restless (18)] playing the sampler and doing MC, and [a=Ahriman 7] a.k.a. Alpha 7 being main MC - vocals, scratches and performance. In August 2024, after releasing the last E.P. "Remixes" (a release with some remixes of producers from different countries over the world, Rave Kommando DJ and main producer, Jordi (Darkinox), decided to leave the band to focus on his projects as an individual artist with their different aliases. In December 2024, R3stless decided to leave the Rave Kommando project and the DJ world to focus musically on a Spanish reggae band for which he plays keyboards, specializing in instruments like the Hammond organ. It was then that Alpha 7 contacted the Spanish duo [a=Degenerated (3)] to continue the project until today... | |

| Search | Add | 7 | Bagga Matumbi | Lannie Glenmore Fagan | Lannie Glenmore "Bevin" Fagan (aka Bagga Matumbi), singer, songwriter and record producer, born May 11 1953; died April 3 2008 Born near Kingston, Jamaica, Fagan moved to the UK aged seven and settled in Battersea, south-west London, where his father was minister of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion church; Fagan first learned to sing there and the soulful voices of visiting brethren from church branches in the US influenced his singing. While attending Spencer Park secondary school, Wandsworth, Fagan became friendly with Barbados-born Dennis Bovell, who had already formed a psychedelic rock band called Stonehenge with another Caribbean immigrant classmate, Errol Pottinger, on lead vocals. Although never officially a member of Stonehenge, Fagan demonstrated his ability to harmonise with Bovell and Pottinger in the school playground. Stonehenge disbanded in 1970 and from its ashes rose Matumbi, a Yoruba word signifying rebirth. Although the group already had Pottinger and Tex Dixon handling vocals, Bovell recruited Fagan, who had briefly worked as a bank clerk after leaving school, to allow for three-part vocal harmony. In its early days, Matumbi gained kudos backing visiting Jamaican stars Ken Boothe and I-Roy, sharing the stage with luminaries including Peter Tosh. Their earliest recording, a cover version of Hot Chocolate's Brother Louie, led by Bovell, gained them a contract with Trojan records, who also issued Wipe Them Out, the first release featuring Fagan on lead vocals, as well as the significantly more popular After Tonight, led by Pottinger. Their reputation was boosted by a cover version, with Fagan on lead, of The Man in Me, a Bob Dylan song the group first became aware of when covered by the Persuaders; Matumbi's rendition was the bestselling British reggae single of 1976. Tired of being pigeonholed as a covers band and generally displeased by Trojan's strategy, Matumbi broke away after a problematic period that saw Dixon, keyboardist Nick Bailey and Pottinger moving on, resulting in Fagan being promoted to official lead vocalist and his younger brother Glaister joining the group. In 1978, the revitalised band signed to EMI's Harvest label, and the resultant album, Seven Seals, contained the nostalgic Blue Beat and Ska, as well as the theme song to the television series Empire Road, which Fagan had a large hand in writing. They also toured extensively with Ian Dury and the Blockheads, which broadened their following, while band members were also involved in side projects, including one featuring Fagan's older sister Sylvia, who recorded under the name Guardian Angel. Matumbi's follow-up album, Point of View, with several songs co-written by Fagan, provided a pinnacle of popularity when its title track reached No 35 in the UK pop charts in 1979. Their final eponymous disc for EMI, and their 1982 album Testify, recorded in Jamaica and co-produced by Fagan and drummer Euton Jones, were less successful. (Source: The Guardian) |

[ENG] SADISTIK WARFARE was born from an idea by Nuno Santos, who is the guitarist in Amputate, to do something outside his comfort zone, since until today he had only played in Death and Black Metal bands he decided to do some Thrash Metal. After composing 3 songs he invites his friend and former Amputate drummer to take care of the drums and than invited two friends from the Algarve, to participate in this project, for bass, Hugo Conim (Dawrider, Dragon's Kiss, The Limit, etc.) and for vocals, Roberto Raposo (Sortilege). This Thrash Metal project was born from here, which has its biggest influences on the German Thrash of the 80s. Initially it was supposed to be an author's edition, but they decided to send the songs to publishers, the first label being Selvajaria Records who immediately said that he wanted to edit the demo, and as a result the band did not contact any more publishers. The band immediately started working on the artwork and design for the demo, which work was left to vocalist Roberto Raposo and the collective chose the title of one of the songs for the title of the demo, which is called Seeds Of Hate. The demo features three original songs and a cover of the Wild In The Streets song by Circle Jerks, which was part of the 1986 skateboarding film Thrashin'. The band is already working on new songs for what will be their first full-length, the sound identity will follow what was done in the demo. The band line up is composed by: Nuno Santos on guitars, Phillip Stengele on drums, Hugo Conim on bass and Roberto Raposo on vocals. | |

| Search | Add | 7 | Tiny Stokes | Dwight "Tiny" Stokes | Dwight "Tiny" Stokes (1920-1999) who was best known as the bass player and lead tenor of the comedic country group, Captain Stubby & The Buccaneers. The Chicago-based group was together for several decades, most notably starring on the WLS National Barn Dance program, as well as local and nationally syndicated programs on the ABC network. Stokes was born in Springfield, Missouri but like many entertainers in the radio era he moved around a lot, living in Monticello, Indiana and Helena, Montana among other places, before retiring down in Florida. It was up in Montana in the early 'Sixties while working as a radio deejay that Tiny Stokes met a factory worker and aspiring country singer named Charley Pride, whose career he championed, introducing the future chart-topper to Red Foley, who helped then Pride break into the Nashville scene. Though not known as a solo artist, Stokes recorded prolifically with the Buccaneers, both on Decca singles and countless airshots; he was also known for the hillbilly hit, "Blackfoot Boogie," a Montana-themed novelty number he recorded in 1956 with a group called the Frontiersmen. (The song name-checks every country bar in the state, one by one, city by city, and is about as specific a shout-out song as you'll ever hear...) |

| Search | Add | 7 | Wreckless Opp. | US Heavy/Power Metal (early), Crossover (later) band from Sandusky, Ohio. Wreckless Opp. is short for Wreckless Opposition. The band used this abbreviated name on every release until the 1997 CD "Face to Face". This was the band's only release after the departure of founding guitarist [a=Cole Barton], and last release before their early 1998 dissolution. Formed in 1989 primarily as a cover band called Reckless Opposition (often shortened to Reckless Opp.). As they began writing original material they split with [a=Jim Buehrle] & [a=Shane Risk] (who then together formed [a=Big Risk]), added the "W" to the name, and released their first demo of original material in 1991. After a series of lineup changes (and an instrument change for founding-drummer turned singer [a=Dan Beidelschies]), they recorded their first full-length tape in 1996 shortly after recruiting second guitarist [a=Derek McGill]. After the release of this album, but before the end of 1996, founding guitarist [a=Cole Barton], drummer [a=Joe Stuckert] and McGill both left the band, and the band went on to record another album in 1997 after finding new members [a=Rob McDonald (3)] (Guitar) and [a=Brad DeHaven] (Drums). In early 1998 the group disbanded. When Barton and Stuckert left they were working on more new material, and it has been rumoured that the band many go back to the studio to record this new material in the future. In 2015 [a=Cole Barton] joined [a=Vatican (5)]. | |

| Search | Add | 7 | מיסטר הרי | יוסי הרי | The beginning of Yossi Hari's career was in 1979 when "Triton" studios and the producer Solo Yurman held a project to discover young talents called "Solo Rishon". With the help of the best musicians and arrangers, a first chance was given to new singers and creators, who would not have had a chance to get to the recording studio in any other way. Most of these "young talents" remained unknown (their nickname among the professionals was "fish", that is, those who catch them, "make" some money on them, and nothing comes out of them), but there were a few whose "first solo" was a first step in their career, even if very late (among them, many years later, Pablo Rosenberg, then a writer and singer in the band Miktzav 33, broke through). Mister Harry was exceptional. He wrote and composed songs for himself and others in the "Solo Rishon" project (among them "The stars never shone for me" for Gil Ran) and was the only one of the "Solo Rishon" artists to complete the recording of an entire album in real-time. Everything happened thanks to the hit that came out on the radio in January 1980, "Don't forget us". Mr. Hari wrote, composed, and sang, Ilan Wirtzberg arranged and produced the music. The success of the song brought after it a series of other attempts in the charts, which did not have similar success: "The whole city is laughing at Me", "I Had to tell you" and "Sara Sara Blues". Although success was not guaranteed, the producer Solo Yurman decided to produce for Mister Hari an entire album with songs that Hari wrote and composed, including "I saw your eyes", "We followed the Sun" and "It Lasted for almost years". Ilan Wirtzberg arranged and produced musically (except for the song "Knock on the Door" which was arranged by David Kribushi) and the best musicians participated in the recordings. Among them are Haim Kario, Haim Romano, and Gil Dor on guitars, Miki Shabib and Moti Dichna on bass, Alona Toral and Avner Kaner on keyboards, Shlomo Hammi, Meir Israel and Alon Hillel on drums. At the end of 1981, the album "Don't Forget Us !!!" was released (the exclamation marks in the original) in a small record company ("Simphonia") that dealt only a little with Israeli music. Perhaps that is also why the sales promotion of the album was limited and its sales were limited. Mister Hari recorded several more songs, among which reached the charts until the beginning of 1984, songs such as "Olala", "Maybe Now Maybe You Decide", "When you are big", "What's Wrong with you baby" and "I had a lady", but these songs also did not win Attentively. At the end of the decade, he made another attempt, this time under his real name (with the mention of "Mister" in parentheses). He recorded "There's Always a Chance" arranged and produced by Molly Shay and "Ten Years (She Calling me Mizrahi)" arranged and produced by Gerry Eckstein. Even this round did not bring the hoped-for comeback and he disappeared from the media for a long time. In the '90s, with the revival of nostalgia for the '80s, "Don't forget us" also returned and appeared in various compilation albums. At the beginning of 2001, a new record by Mister Hari arrived on the radio: "A Soldier's Farewell Song". He wrote, composed, produced, and arranged with Ofer Yair. The inscription on the radio record promised: "From a new disc that will be released soon". |
