Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 7 | Brutish Bulldogs | Japanese band, originally founded in 1989. Brutish Bulldogs originally played thrashy heavy metal/hard rock in the early-'90s. Their music later shifted toward grunge and alternative metal to more new wave, noise rock, space rock, experimental and indie/alternative rock sounds (kind of like Coaltar of the Deepers) throughout the mid/late-'90s and '00s. Around 2004, the band got back together with a new lineup including Keiji Koizumi and Tell from Water Seek, but musically they were already far from metal. Their last release came out in 2010.

Search | Add | 7 | Big Bad Baz | Barry Christie | BigBadBaz (born Barry Christie on 3rd September 1983) is an English born dance music producer. Barry was born in Sunderland, Tyne & Wear but spent most of his life living in Northamptonshire. Inspired by the work of sampling artists such as Fatboy Slim and The Prodigy, Barry started to make sample based dance music in the late 90s. Continuing to produce music under the pseudonym BigBadBaz (a name suggested by friends as a moniker) he released his first productions on vinyl in September 2002. Barry's continued use of samples became less derivative in 2002 and 2003 with more and more internet only releases using larger samples from tracks akin with the Mash up scene that was growing at the time. This similarity brought Barry's music some publicity and found his music being championed by Radio stations across the world, cashing in the fad of mixing one or more popular songs together. Continuing on with the same style of music that brought about Call On Me, BigBadBaz released a white label album Generic Prydz. The name was a light-hearted poke at the amount of copycat songs that were filling the dance floor in 2005. Calling America and So Many Nights on that album began getting some radio play so in 2006 these were picked up by Prank Monkey Records and given a vinyl only release. "So Many Nights" (even though technically a B-Side) began getting some airplay and was picked up by Radio 1 DJ's . |

Search | Add | 7 | Trick-C | Carmen | Trick-C. (DJ,organisator, producer) First lady of Slovenian techno has been firmly stuck behind turntables for over a decade. As a DJ and party organiser she has established herself within the international campaign Urban Divas attracting ladies devoted to dance electronics and their adherents of various artistic expressions. Lately she has also been succeeding with her original production which, just like her sets, feeds on deep underground. * * * * * * * * * * If it's true that regular change of environment is of key importance for artists, the “mother of Prlekija techno” is on a good path to be printed in bold in clubbing annals. A girl form Štajerska born in Germany was assigned a music career at birth. Her mother decided to call her Claudia, but in the maternity ward she was crying so beautifully and loud that nurses changed her name to Carmen with regard to the opera of the same name, as she only slept if she was given earphones to cover her ears. A bit more than a quarter of a century later she is known as Trick-C and she wouldn't swap her earphones and the adrenaline that she experiences when putting the player needle on vinyl records for anything in the world. To win the title “the mummy of Prlekija techno” she worked hard at the beginning of her career as she was cultivating the hills around Ljutomer with new electro sounds, and later, having moved to Maribor and then to Ljubljana her network of partners and adherents grew constantly. With her companion in life DJ Point she worked a lot in Croatia, they were among the organisers of the first techno parties, and even now Trick-C continues to foster the cultural exchange with neighbours as a soloist. At least as much as a DJ she is known as an organiser of parties in clubs, including Lipa, K4, Channel Zero, Trust, ex Fun Factory, Klub Kaos and SubSub. Urban Divas is the name of her parties and at the same time a socially engaged international campaign, within which she and her adherents wish to provide dance floors with additional female touch: "As it is always difficult for us to get opportunities for regular performances I try to gather as many good female DJ's under one roof as possible. I favour long-term cooperations as such evenings are easier to promote, yet I pay a lot of attention to less renowned girls to provide them with an opportunity that I often didn't have." Trick-C has devoted the past few years intensely to creating her own music. The same as when working behind a turntable, she doesn't pay much respect to fashion trends, but rather build her own music story, which was always fed on alternative music. She follows this music philosophy in her latest track DeTour, which is closer to pristine techno than the impersonal music matrices that have lately seduced the majority of old fighters. This recording was released officially by the Slovenian techno record label Vezotonik of international renown as an EP featuring six tracks of various authors (including Miličević,Kobaya,Veztax…) Some chosen - artist she worked with: Umek (SI), Misjah (NL), Kanzyani (SI), La Di Da (CZ), Joel Muel (SW), Veztax (SI), Kiki (HR), Mary (HR), Ian F. Finding his way in the world of underground theatre through the 90s and early 2000s, he eventually started working with sounds, focusing on the (de)construction of language and the manipulation of pre-recorded spoken materials. The voice is the main instrument, moving from repetitive eccentric vocalizations to abstract electronics landscapes, using repetition, distortion, noise and screams in a way that sounds unheard and liberated from schemes or clichés, giving precedence to the pre-verbal forms of language to disturb its functional logic. He produced a handful of ultra limited cdrs and tapes, as well as some noticeable live performances |

From originally writing mainly instrumental music in various shapes and forms, [a3834685] has now taken on the challenging task of writing lyrics to give the songs a further dimension. [a3834685] is considering himself mainly as a songwriter and producer and is interested in working together with inspiring talents. During 2013 he started working together with great singers and his first single release reflects this fact very well. The music he creates is mainly focused on the electro/dance/house/club/pop scene, but it is also influenced by a lot of other genres since he is inspired by such a wide variety of music artists and styles. Checkout his songs, like him on Facebook, and follow him on Twitter! Stay tuned!
