Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Lord's Family | German hippy commune band who existed from 1971 to 1974. English translation of the rear cover notes of their sole release "LORD'S FAMILY was a music community that was founded in Nuremberg in 1970 and existed from 1971 to 1974 in Beilngries in the Altmühltal in Bavaria. The group's mystical and ecological identity, which was one of the first bands to combine German-language lyrics with idiosyncratic music, made it a forerunner of the ecological, green movement. The family was inspired by their psychedelic experience, the influence of Christian mysticism and Eastern spirituality. From Munich to Heidelberg, from Erlangen to Berlin, LORD'S FAMILY won numerous fans through their live concerts, but never recorded an album. The musicians hardly cared about the music market and the musical mainstream. Their special feature was the combination of improvisation as a continuous spontaneous re-creation with composed choruses and narrative texts as well as the integration of Bavarian folklore.TV stations as Radio Bremen and, the Bavarian Radio and numerous print media had reported on the artistic, social and ecological experiment of the Bavarian commune, the "Monks in Jeans." The municipality even published its own newspaper "Family Press", to earn money for the "Schlössl", an old hunting lodge that LORD'S FAMILY rented in Beilngries until 1974. Although the band was not part of the record market, they already made forerunners of video clips of the improvised music. Many bands from the Krautrock era made station during their tours in the "Schlössl", which was followed by regular return visits of the music-making community.Musically, the musicians moved somewhere between Amon Düül II and Popl Vuh, but the improvisation experiments of the band were deeply independent. In 1974, the municipality dissolved, from the former members Sepp Kuffer and Georg Frisch are still musically active.Sireena Records is proud to present this record. The music comes from tapes owned by Sepp Kuffer, who certainly do not have high end quality but are a real sound document - from a creative time, when so much was possible!" | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Dawn's Moment | Dawn's moment is a German progressive rock band from Senftenberg. The success of the band is based primarily on the broad mix of styles, which is due to the different origins and backgrounds of the individual musicians. So Dawn's Moments music elements from rock, metal, funk, but also classical music can be found again. Band history Dawn's moment was founded by the two music school teachers Martin Kotte (guitar) and Riccardo Gunder (piano) in autumn 2003, at the music school Oberspreewald-Lausitz. After several reshuffles, the band seemed to have found in 2008, by adding Alvaro "Oso" Crespo, Florian Reichelt and Björn Kerstan. With the release of a first demo CD in the middle of the same year, the quintet made itself at regional concerts and even in the national music television of Ecuador, the home Crespos, a name. In the summer of 2009, the band began recording for their first album "Listen". The fine tuning lasted until December 2009, so that their debut in early 2010 could be published. The record release party took place on January 30, 2010 at "Hühnerstall" Senftenberg. | Search | Add | 2 | The Scoundrelz | Bio From Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NYzny6NQM8 The Scoundrelz had promise; they were a locally respected band in Ottawa; highly talented, and had signed a record deal with Red Leaf; there were even murmurs of the band being signed to Capitol Records, but that never came to fruition. After the release of their debut single "Heartbreak Hotel/Poor John" (B-Side an original by band leader and keyboardist Buddy Stanton), The A-side "Heartbreak Hotel" entered the RPM Top 100 Singles chart at #98 on November 21st 1966. Followed by, #79 on November 28th, #70 on December 5th, #61 on December 12th and peaking at #60 on December 19th, 1966. After a final return showing on January 2nd 1967 at #83, the single fell off the charts. During 1967, Buddy Stanton's talents got him noticed by well-known Ottawa band "The Townsmen." He made the decision to leave The Scoundrelz, even before seeing through the release of their second single "Follow Me/To A Lovely Lady" (B-Side again by Stanton). Buddy was brought into The Townsmen as keyboardist and singer (an additional role) and John Bacho (guitarist for Ottawa-based "Skalliwags") was brought on for guitar and vocals to replace the recently departed Gary Comeau. After Buddy's departure from The Scoundrelz, the band initially broke up. They were then persuaded to regroup under a new name and release the Scoundrelz long-awaited second single. They chose the new name "[a1453069]" and released "Follow Me/To A Lovely Lady" on Red Leaf Records during May of 1967. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Former Members Of The N.Y. Rock Ensemble | Following the release of 1972's "Freedomburger", the band broke up into two factions. The late singer/keyboardist Michael Kamen and multi-instrumentalist Dorian Rudnystsky plodded on with the band New York Rock. For their part, frustrated with The Ensemble's inability to break commercially, singer/guitarist Clifton Nivison and drummer Martin Fulterman bailed, continuing their business and creative partnership by signing a deal with the Scepter Records affiliated Opal Productions. Working for Opal, over the next two years Nivison and Fulterman undertook a broad array of assignments, including writing material for other artists, preparing and recording demos, recording tracks under various aliases, and producing material. Once again frustrated with the lack of recognition, Fulterman quit Opal in 1974, relocating to Los Angeles where he found work scoring music for television and film. Regardless of whether they had legal rights to the material, at some point in the mid-1970s Opal management sold the Nivison and Fulterman material held in its vaults to the Tomorrow label. Even though the relationship was somewhat tenuous, Tomorrow management was clever enough to exploit the pair's connection with The New York Rock and Roll Ensemble. So in an odd way Tomorrow actually deserved some credit for truth in advertising (at least this time out), since the material literally represented work by 'former members' of The New York Rock Ensemble. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Mark Laflin | Mark has been interested in the Theatre Organ from an early age. After classical organ studies as a teenager, Mark was educated at the Royal College of Music and the University of Oxford where he was organ scholar at Keble College. He studied with several well-known organists along the way and continues to perform and enjoy the classical organ repertoire. After a gap of several years, Mark reacquainted himself with the theatre pipe organ and he has a busy concert schedule. Since then he has recorded two albums featuring the Tywyn Wurlitzer and the Clayhall Compton, both of which are closely associated with the society. His music has been played on the BBC and on several podcasts online – notably Hotpipes and The Organist Encores. On the latter Mark has recently become the shows resident organist and has been featured several times with specially recorded music. | |
