Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Stabile was a talented musician who respected and promoted jazz music; instead of creating her own music, she developed an entrepreneurial mindset to promote jazz musicians who faced hurdles due to hip-hop flair. Stabile was selected for the position of executive producer of Blue Note Records by then president [a=Don Was]. The two companies RMG and Blue Note records had collaborated on albums and signed more than forty musicians within their group. The company was able to give a global performance that integrated jazz and hip-hop in a single genre. c. 1986 - June 14th, 2022 | |
| Search | Add | 2 | Unbecoming You | Formed early in the spring of 2000, Unbecoming You is the byproduct of two rival bands from Racine, WI. From day one, their chemistry was unsurpassable and their stage presence was unlike anything the local music scene had ever experienced. UNU was quickly acknowledged by the music community as a venue filler and became the premier local band to book in the Metro-Milwaukee Area by September of 2000. By 2002, Unbecoming you was in a league of their own, headlining local showcases and opening for national acts including: Billy Idol, Seether, Trapt, Smile Empty Soul, Lacuna Coil, Moonspell, The Electric Hellfire Club and more. Unbecoming You's monumental rise was due to their excess of talent, their common goals and the camaraderie of four musicians who would forever remain friends. Their low end and percussion thrived on the west coast flavor of bassist Chris Miller and his bond with longtime friend and all-star drum machine Andy Spaulding. Their raw talent and ability to play as one entity quickly impressed music fans and colleagues alike and brought Unbecoming You's backbeat to the forefront. On the upper end of the spectrum, UNU boasts the screaming sonic guitar of Eric Halbur and the emotional vocal versatility of Zak Yanakowicz. These two lifelong friends feed off of one another from the writing process all the way through their intense live performances. Together, these four boys form a band of brothers that bring the noise both on and off the stage. More than a decade after formation, Unbecoming You continues to redefine rock music by fusing meaning with melody and fueling it with the intense emotion of modern times. Though their lives and passions have changed, Unbecoming You continues to produce a new and heart felt sound that is uniquely their own and uneasily categorized. Unbecoming You continues to write music that will be as relevant in ten years as it is today and strives to bring creativity and intensity to both the stage and the studio. More importantly, Unbecoming You breathes a new air of life into the overly compressed, meaningless, weak styling's of contemporary rock music. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | NKRIOT | NKRIOT | [a=NKRIOT] is an electronic music pioneer, inventor, and founder of a new art genre concept called Goji. Formed in the summer of 2013 in the neighborhood of Boyle Heights, California, NKRIOT began as a chip-tune, cyberpunk project, that eventually transformed into full-scale self-designed music project which eventually led to the creation of the Goji movement. NKRIOT live has a unique high energy performance which features a custom setup that includes hardware that is designed and built from scratch. During his performances, the audience gets to experience the prominent brilliance that makes the half man-half robot a distinctive original artist. In Summer of 2017, NKRIOT underwent a 12-week hiatus to write, record and self-produced his debut album under his independent label based locally in Boyle Heights, CA ‘NKRIOT Productions’. “RIOT” released in June of 2017, gained fervor and momentum as being a dark dance hymn, including the single ‘’Reality Pages’’. The single is a rhythmic (Four on the Floor) euphoric anthem, led by a trance-inducing dirty sub bass, followed by a grievous and nurturing vocal timbre. Reminiscent of artists who provided the late-nite underground soundtracks to crowded dancefloors filled with club kids, ’RIOT’ will guide a new generation of these house devotees, before the sun rises. |

| Search | Add | 2 | James L. Richard II | Looking at James L. Richards family, it was fairly safe to say that the Oakland native was not going to be a street sweeper or a computer programmer. From the get go, the current band leader/music director for the Bay Area Icons, The Sekret Service and formerly of Club Nouveau, was introduced to music by his talented musical family. His uncles are William Richard and Roy Richard of the doo wop group The Robins and original members of the chart topping icons The Coasters. His older brother Billy has been a member of the legendary R&B group since 1962. James Dad was the legendary Rev J L Richard, Pastor and founder of The Evergreen Baptist Church Of Oakland and a Baptist icon. He lead the political charge for black people in the Bay Area and across the nation. A celebrity in his field working with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Julian Bond and a young Jesse Jackson among others. James Mom, Dortha Lee Richard lived with Frank Sinatra, working as Nancy Sinatras personal assistant (from the ages of 17-21 at that). She dressed Mrs. Sinatra (bought all her clothes and jewelry), handled all her appointments, acted as her single personal liaison, and even took care of Frank Jr. and Tina until she married Rev. Richard in the early 50s. The precocious musician started playing drums at 4 years of age and moved on to piano at 5. His Godfather gave him his first guitar at 14 and soon thereafter started playing Bass emulating his Funk Hero William Bootsy Collins. During college Richard says he formed Oakland bands called The Millenium Falcons and The 60s Kidz along with his ORIGINAL Sekret Service comrade the Incredible Mr. Risque. He says that the group dressed up in rugby shirts adorned with safety pins and played new wave and punk rock tunes. Following his punk phase, Richard became enamored by Prince and a burgeoning new music form known as rap. During this time Richard wanted to form a band called The Secret Service™ but found he had to settle for The Sekret Service™. "You cant copyright a name of a government agency," he says. While the old version of the The Sekret Service played all the popular artists of the time like Michael Jackson and Prince, Richard says the band also covered more adventurous fare. "We were a top 40 band, but we took chances, he says. We did Depeche Mode." By the mid-80s, Richard had a friend who started making waves in the music industry, Jay King. King was the Dictator behind the Timex Social Club, who had a hit with Rumors, and Club Nouveau. Club Nouveau and took the world by storm with such charted hits as "Situation Number 9", "Why You Treat Me So Bad," "Jealousy," "Heavy On My Mind," and the number 1 Grammy award winning remake of the Bill Withers classic: "Lean On Me." Their songs have been covered or sampled by such varied artists as J-Lo, R Kelly and Puff Daddy, Jessica Simpson, and The Luniz. Richard pulled the plug on The Sekret Service band to focus on doing studio work as The Sekret Service scoring films, composing commercials, designing sounds, and producing and engineering recordings. He ended up working with artists like R&B outfits Tony! Toni! Tone!, of course Club Nouveau, and dozens of rap/hip hop artists such as Askari X, Dru Down, Young Dre and Rodney O. But, in June of 2004, Richard realized he was missing the feel of performing in front of a crowd and formed The New Sekret Service™ until late 2008 reverting back to The Sekret Service™ moniker. Richard says he embraces the same philosophy that the past version of his band adhered to. "We pick material that is huge number one smash hits, but we make sure no one else plays it, he says. All the bands play the same songs, boring people to tears with their predictability. My goal is to entertain and INTERACT with the people, making sure they NEVER forget the experience." As of 2013, James continues to record, compose, perform, and interact with people all over the world and beyond. | |
