Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | More Love Ensemble | More Love Ensemble, a self-proclaimed baseless jazz fusion band, is a result of many years of previous collaboration if it's members that created their own sensibility and expression. In The Ensemble vocalist Melita Lovričević is joined by talented and renowned jazz musicians : pianist Petar Ćulibrk and drummer Enos Kugler who are also friends, co-travellers, creating their own interpretation on some of their favourite jazz standards, traditional songs, spirituals and originals, because jazz is a story that needs to be told and a voyage to be taken. Different energies that every member contributes creates a final blend for harmonies that can only come to pass when they are joined together. Jazz, world music and beyond.

Search | Add | 3 | The 10:15 | "A rather quaint folk lp from three male and two female Jesus people types posing in front of some graffiti-cluttered NYC subway station. Has an unpolished amateur glow – you could easily imagine these folks leading the Catholic collegiates in song at a Newman club in the late ‘60s. Titles like ‘We Have His Spirit In Our Hearts’, ‘Lord, We Touch You Today’, ‘Do We Really Try?’, ‘Lord, We Make This Your World’ and ‘Won’t You Come Away?’ are all presented with simple acoustic guitar backing, alternating solo singing with unison vocals. All songs composed by Rev. Shawn Tracy, O.S.A." (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott). The group released three albums, The 10:15 (1968), Making Tracks (1972) and Songs of the Father (1974). They came from Bronx, New York.

Together with Aram Bajakian, his alter ego, and Jamaaladeen Tacuma, mutant bassist from Ornette Coleman's Primetime, they track down Malcolm Mooney, the original Can singer (back to "Monster Movie"). The latter remains famous for having been the shooting-star voice, half Soul, half psychedelic, of one of the more influential experimental Rock bands in History. Jamaaladeen Tacuma perhaps best known for his albums as bandleader on the Gramavision label and for his work with Ornette Coleman during the 1970s and 1980s (particularly in Coleman's Prime Time band). Jamaaladeen's 1988 album Jukebox was nominated for a Grammy Award. Aram Bajakian has performed/recorded with rock legend Lou Reed, Grammy winners Diana Krall and Yusef Lateef, saxophonist John Zorn. "The drummer and composer Sean Noonan approaches postmodern jazz and world music from the same angle of self-discovery ... he manages to make his pieces speak coherently, and in a unified voice." - The New York Times [a=Malcolm Mooney], [a=Sean Noonan], [a=Aram Bajakian], [a=Jamaaladeen Tacuma], [a=Norbert Bürger], [a=Alex Marcelo]

Search | Add | 3 | Negate Life | Negate Life | Negate Life is a hardcore/powerviolence band formed early in 2017 by four kids enraged by the flaws of the neo-liberal society. Drawing on the powerviolence sound forged by band such as Nails, Rotten Sound, Magrudergrind, Weekend Nachos and Sect as well as the Swedish death metal sound, especially the classic “Boss HM2” tone popularized by Entombed, Dismember, Grave and At The Gates, they top it off by adding a bit of Crust Punk and Black metal to the mix resulting in their latest EP, Falsehood, released in 2018. For us, hardcore music is a safe space for everyone who suffers, in any way, of marginalization. |

Search | Add | 3 | Ambition Demolition | Ambition Demolition was formed in April (2016) with Alan Cattermoul on guitar & vocals, Clive Buff Cooper on Bass & vocals and AL Stone on drums. Some good fun Punk Rock tunes followed, and in less than four months we had managed to get together an albums worth of 12 songs!! Our first 6 track EP, Punk for Life, was recorded at the end of 2016 in true DIY style and is available from the band. We have a bit of variety in our locker so hopefully there's something for everyone in the set!?!?! Also, we have more songs in the pipeline, and it's really nice to have the pleasure & option of moving the songs around to suit every situation!! We had our first gig @Frog & Fiddle in Cheltenham Glos. Saturday 24th September 2016 with lots more gigs now played supporting, amongst others, UK Subs, The Lurkers, Subhumans, DeRellas, Hands Off Gretel, and Reno Divorce from the States. We've also played a number of festivals in 2017 including Bash the Bishop, Degeneration, Juzbcuz, No More Heroes, and Rebellion. Many more gigs in the pipeline and we'll put flyers for all those and more up on here as soon as we can!! We'll have merchandise at all gigs too, so keep your eyes open for that and a new album in the pipeline.
