Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | DJ Playa | Dejan Rakić | Dejan Rakic is known as Dee Jay Playa in the music world. He is a true promoter of music, man of his own style in every sense of the word and without a doubt one of the most wanted Deejays in the region. His booking calendar proves this! Aside from monthly and seasonal residencies in Belgrade, he has well over a hundred appearances throughout clubs in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Swiss, Greece… Over the last 18 years, Playa has progressed quickly and gained residencies in hottest clubs domestically as well as internationally, regular radio and TV appearances as well as headline VIP and after parties. His love for music prompted him to start his career in '93 where he made an entrance into the world of DJ-ing by performing at private parties. His talents were discovered shortly after and in '94 this Belgrade DeeJay and remix-producer made his entrance into the pros at then the most prestigious club in Belgrade - "Trezor" where he performed the intro. At that time he got exposed to a multitude of musical directions and he began finding his identity through spinning: soul, funk, new Jack swing, dance classics… Upon his return from his studies in the US, he made the contemporary "black sound" (r&b, hip-hop & dancehall) his permanent part of his set which was extremely well received by his audience. Since 1998 he's been spinning as a resident in several Belgrade clubs, and highest rated radio station, "Kosava FM" - 102,2 broadcasts DJ Playa's mix live each Wednesda during the "DJ Hour". He presently also spins on "3FM" -95,8 FM - live in the "Black box-in da mixxx" show. In 2001. he went to Switzerland, where audiences in various Zurich clubs enjoyed his music. Upon his return to Serbia, he became a resident DJ and promoter at that time most popular Belgrade club "ANDERGRAUND" where every Friday, he used to pleasure the crowds during the "Black Friday" Bounce Nights. In 2005 he creates the "Playground" team which specializes in complete management of club parties - all aspect of the event including production, hiring security, bar staff, dancers etc. are planned and implemented. The same year, DeeJay Playa obtains another residency evening at a Belgrade club "HYPNOTIC" which in a short period of time becomes the best RnB event in the city. Presently he is one of the most sought after "club sound" DJ in the Region. DJ Playa's quality is not just defined by skilled mixing, but with his chemistry with the audience. He has a seasoned technique and often creates remixes live during his sets, making LIVE BOOTLEG’s and MASHUP’s! sets which drive the audiences wild! His strength is not only recognized in his mixing techniques, but also on the ability of reading the crowd and knowing what it takes to make them scream and shout. DJ Playa has released 12 mixtapes - CD-s! With 18 years of experience he is a proven DJ that always strives for perfection. That drive keeps him at the forefront of the Belgrade DJ scene, as he is always trying to maintain his unique style during his sets. In the last 5-6 years his popularity has drastically grown, while his performance and residencies in hottest clubs all over Europe has proven him to be one of the Balkans Most Wanted club deejay. |

Search | Add | 3 | Heimatstürmer | They come from the wide valley basin in front of the entrance to the "Gesäuse": the home strikers. From their Styrian "homeland" they conquered the hearts of an ever-growing fan base in the "storm". Wolfgang Maunz, band leader by trade, has, together with the brothers Manfred and Peter Schnepfleitner, inclined towards music from childhood and earned his spurs with the perseverance of decades of practice. Various formations, including the legendary "Austria Quintet", preceded the home strikers before they were called to the trio in 1998. Countless live performances were and are the tools of their professionalism. 1998 - 2009, Austrian Folk Band The path to success led from private engagements on the large festival stages in the Alps to countless guest performances in the German-speaking radio and television world. With their sympathetic and atmospheric appearances, the home strikers have established themselves in the music business of the entertainment industry and have legitimized this with many top placements in the charts. It is not for nothing that they are repeatedly invited by all the important broadcasters. With their captivating routine, a lot can still be expected from the "passionate musicians": as a fixed star in the sky of popular music, to the delight of their fans, successful organizers and program directors. Wolfgang Maunz on the home striker: "Enjoying success means working hard on the future at the same time. The joy of this work helps us step by step to success that confirms our path!"

Search | Add | 3 | Little Menace | Maxeme Piris-Watts, Ben Mills and David Trotter | Little Menace comprises Max Piris, Ben Mills and David Trotter. “We met over the garden fence when I was 7 and Ben was 3,” says David, Little Menace eldest member. “We thought we were Hans Solo and Luke Skywalker, obsessed with Star Wars and Jedi Knights, and falling out over who had the best toys. Not very rock and roll is it?” Looking for their very own sarf London Princess Leia to front the band, Ben's friend mentioned Max. The lads rang her up and got her over to sing in the front room. “I remember being so nervous,” recalls Max. “My mum sat outside in the car with the engine running waiting for me, there was no way she would've left me alone with these two nutters, as I was only 13!” She laughs, giving David a playful dig in the ribs. And what about the music then? The vibe works because of the different styles each of the Menacers brings to the melting pot. “Ben is all RNB and Hip Hop, Max is sultry credible Pop and I'm the Dance lover,” suggest David. “Something for everyone!” Ben adds: “We're a mix up of American influences like Timbaland and the Neptunes with British Electro-Pop-Rock elements. And the name Little Menace? “It's a p**s take to be honest!” smirks Max. “We're 3 white kids from Croydon doing UK Garage, Soul and RNB, so we thought we'd have a laugh with our name. It's just a take on all the people that take themselves too seriously.” |

At a young age Azim got into music through listening to the early releases of [a=Michael Jackson]. Eventually he pursued an interest into hip-hop and gained notoriety around his neighborhood for his rhymes. Around 1987/88 Azim hooked up with local Dallas DJ [a=The Snake (2)] and joined part of the rap group [a=Nemesis (3)]. As a member, Azim quickly became the group's leading emcee (along with [a=Big Al (9)]). While the group parlayed with laid back party rhymes, it was Azim that contributed many of themes of spirituality (as a Muslim) and social consciousness. However Azim departed shortly after the release of [r=845762] as the group was drifting more in the direction of gangsta posturing and booty bass music. After Azim released a solo project a few years later he traded a career as a recording artist for a more lucrative position. After working as an industy insider for several years Mr. Rashid landed himself a job as [l=MCA Records Inc.]'s director of R&B promotion. In 2000 he was promoted to senior national director of the same department, overseeing the label's radio promotions and supervision of staff. His love for music grew ever so increasingly over the years, from whence he joined a 5 piece band. It wasn’t long till his love for music also lead him to join forces with his long-time friend, Gauta Lenake whom he’d met at primary school. Hanyani is a creative musician, who loves his craft, and quite evidently who’s love for music seems to know no bounds! Through working with the band, Divine Essence, Hanyani has enjoyed sharing stages with some of S.A’s most celebrated musicans, DJ Black Coffee, DJ Cleo, City Band, Kats, DJ Christos, Four Seasons, Morgan Beat Box, Tzozo & Professor and Rhythmic Elements at the 2010 FIFA Fan Fest. When Hanyani a.k.a Uber-Harmonics, isn’t making or playing live music, you’re likely to find him behind the mic, not singing or rapping necessarily but doing voice overs! |

Search | Add | 3 | Bernie Milton | Bernie Milton, a musician and notable Ithaca, New York, USA, community member, was born in 1942, died 2002. His mother, Agnes Milton, was a graduate of Ithaca College, and while he was growing up she taught local children how to play the piano. From an early age Bernie was exposed to the musical scene and, it inevitably rubbed off on him; his mother decided she would introduce him to the music world by taking him to sing at the Apollo Theater in Harlem when he was just eleven. He sang one of Elvis Presley’s hits, “I Got a Woman.” Milton signed his first recording contract in 1960 “and had a regional hit, ‘The Waddle’ in 1962. He led several bands though the 60s, 70s and 80s; such as Bernie and the Cavaliers, Bernie Milton and the Soul Patrol, and the Bernie Milton Experience, all of which toured up and down the East coast.” Bernie was well established as a local musician when he joined the WICB air staff in 1983. He was approached by the student management of the station about doing the show “Looking Back” and he agreed. Every Friday, Bernie shared his love of soul rhythm & blues and Motown music with the central New York radio audience. “His unique on-air style was simultaneously laid back and enthusiastic,” said Wheatley. Today Bernie Milton’s nephew, Ricky Milton, continues to do the show in his memory each Friday. Milton first became popular with the Cornell community as early as the late 1950’s, and became especially prominent at fraternity dances during turbulent late 60’s, into the 70’s. During the 80’s he began performing at Cornell Reunions, as some of those classes returned for Reunion Weekend.

Search | Add | 3 | 7th Day Buskers | Founded by Shawn P. Rohlf in 1997, the band name came from real life: at the time Rohlf had been in the habit of busking as a street performer at San Diego, California's Hillcrest Farmer's Market weekly. Banjo, keyboardist and electric guitar player Rohlf was joined by his former guitar teacher Robin Henkel on dobro, Melissa Harley on Fiddle and Ken Dow on upright bass. This lineup released 2002's Born to Pick and Long Live the Caboose and 2004's Fool's Grass. By their 2010 effort Tiny Xs, Henkel, Dow and Harley had left with Rohlf taking on mandolin, harmonica and percussion in addition to his guitar and vocal duties but new members Alex Watts on guitar and vocals, singer and acoustic bass man Jef Kmak, singer and drummer T Bone and pedal steel performer Dave Berzansky had come aboard. The fall of that year saw a name change to Shawn Rohlf and the Buskers.
