Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 6 | Midi Slut | Michael Poe | Mike Poe began forming his musical interests at an early age. He was fascinated by the use of electronic instruments in modern music and began listening to progressive rock groups such as Emerson, Lake and Palmer and Rick Wakeman in the 70's. It was his mother who introduced him to the experimental electronic tones of Brian Eno and Kraftwerk. His appreciation for these creative styles carried on through high school and followed him into college. During his time at Ohio University, Mike began to create electronic compositions to accompany modern dance pieces and also began to develop his styles as a DJ. His style concentrated heavily on the dark industrial sounds of Front 242 and Skinny Puppy. He added many styles to his DJ repertoire and began to introduce ambient tones and atmospheres to his DJ sets. The Orb was a major influence, which gradually led him to spin more ambient dub styled tracks. In 1993 he moved from Athens, Ohio to Columbus where he introduced his unique style and catalog of recordings to the Columbus scene. He began working with Rob Engel to create atmospheric dark ambient music that became the Midislut project with Mike spinning under the Midislut name. In 1994, he released “Ambiento”, a mix tape of selected ambient tracks, which created a buzz among the underground scene. Shortly after the release of “Ambiento,” Mike was spinning in chill out rooms at many of the now legendary ele_mental parties. Mike followed his release of “Ambiento” with “Project Blossom” in 1995. Mike provided his own compositions at the ele_mental sponsored “Boron” in August 1996. Mike was also involved in electronic music composition in the Columbus area. Contributions include the 21/22 Corp. compilation "Fusion No.5" and "Trace Ele_ments4 EP", a collaboration with Bone Tribe Productions, and an appearance on Black Music's "Adventures in Modern Recording" CD with an industrial jungle track titled "Cycle_7.1". During July of 1996, Mike began to work at the groundbreaking downtown club, Mekka. He immersed himself in the club tracks he heard from such DJ’s as Mike G, Kevy Kev, and Rob Engel along with many of the guest DJ’s who graced the decks. It wasn’t long before Mike teamed up with Doughboy, and spun “Twilight Sundaze,” where he played Chicago house and techno. Mike made Mekka his home for over four years, and attributes much of his appreciation and love for the music to his stay there. Beginning in 1998, Mike made guest appearances at Red Zone and played at many of the “Clockwork Sundaze” events that have made Doughboy famous. He opened for many of the DJ world superstars, such as Josh Wink, Marco Carolla, Charles Feelgood, and Terry Lee Brown Jr. Mike also held simultaneous residencies at both FM and Clique through the Millennium. In December of 2000, Mike traveled to Germany and played two New Years dates in Jena and Altenburg. Upon returning to the states, Mike teamed up with Kate Hazelbaker to start “Barcelona DJs@11,” which blended the eclectic tastes of a tapas restaurant with deep house and lounge style tracks. Mike currently holds residency at Eleven Restaurant and Lounge, spinning deep and tech house. He is a member of the Quality! crew often sharing the decks with his mates Jason Lyman, Jeff Pongonis, and Steve Keck. |

| Search | Add | 6 | GeroMetal | GeroMetaL | GeroMetal was a Serbian heavy metal band from Novi Sad.The band was formed by a former Griva member Josip Sabo (guitar) and a well-known comic book artist Bane Kerac (drums). The band started their activity in 1992, when Sabo and Kerac were joined by a former Albatorosi member Predrag "Peđa" Moldvaji (bass guitar). Initially, the band performed covers by Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Free, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and others, but with humorous Serbian language lyrics. These songs were released in 1993 on the album Der Rauch Am Wasser (German for "Smoke on the Water"). In 1996, the band was joined by vocalist Dušan Uvalić "Francuz", a former vocalist for the bands Annathema and Crash. This lineup recorded new songs, released during the same year on the album Cat Claw, named after the comic book superhero of the same name created by Kerac. In 1998, after a number of concerts across Vojvodina, Uvalić left GeroMetal to join the reformed Annathema, and two members of the band Kraj, Viktor Moldvaji (Predrag Moldvaji's son, guitar) and Nenad Petković (the bass guitarist in Kraj, on keyboards in GeroMetal), joined the band. Until the end of their career the band performed occasionally only, performing mostly in Novi Sad. In 2000, the band disbanded. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Thomas Näfe | Thomas Näfe | Born 1968 in Darmstadt (Germany) and electronic native since the early eighties at the age of 13. The artist chose the synonym “the artist formerly unknown” because he prefers to remain in the background of his projects. His musical journey began in the mid-1980s, when he started producing electronic music in various projects – sometimes with singers, sometimes solo. In 1985, together with singer Dirk, he founded his first project, “Perspex Hearts in the Fog” (PHF). Inspired by OMD but more experimental in character, the music was programmed on a Commodore 64 using Sound Monitor software and an early sampling module. The results were low-quality synthpop tracks, attempts to blend the styles of Art of Noise, The Human League, and OMD. Two years later, in 1987, he launched “Delete Delete” with singer Manfred. This project leaned towards harder, industrial and EBM sounds, drawing influence from Klinik, aGrumh, Skinny Puppy, Throbbing Gristle, Non, Current 93, and Severed Heads, alongside pop icons such as OMD, Depeche Mode, The Human League, and New Order. A wide range of analog and digital gear shaped the sound, including the Korg MS20, Roland TB303, Casio SK1, Commodore Amiga 500, and many others. In 1988, two tapes were released, and the duo performed several unusual live shows. In 1989, keyboardist Axel joined, making the music more accessible. However, before a third tape could be completed or a potential record deal signed, the band split due to musical differences. Between 1990 and 1995, he wrote a large number of pop songs with the Roland JD800, Korg PolySix, and an Amiga 500 sequencer. Some of these tracks later resurfaced in projects such as “Commercial” and “The artist formerly unknown.” In 1996, together with singer Kai, he started the project “Banality.” They produced the demo CD Demonstration and tried to pitch it to various London-based labels, but without success, as classic 80s synthpop was out of fashion at the time. Later that year, the project was renamed “Commercial”, shifting towards a more 90s-oriented sound. Their mini-album Concepts (500 copies) was sent to numerous labels, but the feedback remained discouraging: the vocals were considered “too 80s” and the sound “not compatible with chart productions.” In 1998, the single “Forever” was released, featuring female vocalist Antonia to give it a more 90s feel. The track reached No. 1 in the local radio charts and No. 2 in the station’s year-end chart of 1998 – yet again, no label interest followed. After additional recordings and live performances, the project came to an end later that year. Since the mid-90s, his setup shifted entirely to Cubase on Mac, and in 2000 he transitioned to Logic. At first, he experimented with trance but soon decided to ignore strict genre boundaries. Under the alias “The artist formerly unknown”, he produced melodic, danceable instrumental tracks somewhere between trance, ambient, synthpop, and soundtrack. Today, he continues to produce electronic music under the name “Elekthromas” and is currently seeking a singer (male or female) to continue creating electronic pop music. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Vesna Nežić Ružić | Vesna Nežić Ružić is a singer of ethno-pop, traditional and popular music from Croatia. She promotes the Croatian region of Istria in her songs, which is why she got the nickname “Rose of Istria”. Vesna Nežić Ružić was born in Pula, in Istra, Croatia (then Yugoslavia). At a young age she started singing, inheriting her love of music from her parents who were also involved in music. She graduated from the classical gymnasium "Branko Semelić" and the secondary music school "Ivan Matetić Ronjgov" - solo singing department with Prof. Marica Visković, in Pula and then srudied law at the Faculty of Law in Rijeka (she works as a lawyer when not singing professionally). She began her professional singing career as a very young girl, winning several times at amateur singer festivals in Pula and Istria (1975). In 1975, she recorded her first studio song in collaboration with maestro Nello Milotti, entitled “Istarska serenada”. She was also awarded first place by the expert jury at the Youth Festival of the then Yugoslavia “Studentsko ljeto” in Maglaj in 1976, as a representative of the RTV Center Pula. in 1977 that she made her debut with the song "Vrtić pred kućom" , which was her award from the expert jury for winning 1st place at the festival of amateur singers of the then Yugoslavia in Maglaj, where she was delegated by the then HTV Center Pula. She became very poplar locally and still sings today (2025). Her trademark Istrian pop is a musical blend of tradition, contemporary, and mainstream pop melodies. The lyrics of Vesna's songs are typically Istrian themes and are related to the life and customs of an ordinary, small, hardworking Istrian people, so there is no topic that Vesna has not touched on in her songs. In her songs, through her distinctive interpretation, she speaks with love about her native Pula, Istria, St. Martin's Day, weddings, gunjci, noni and mater, laurel and roses, the sea, the sun, boats and fishermen, rikordi and pensiri, ulika, wine, prosciutto and truffles and much more. Sometimes she even inserts cooking into the whole story, as on the CD "Rikordi i pensiri", a kind of souvenir from Istria, on which, with each song, there are also autochthonous Istrian recipes in the form of "A Story about Love and Cooking" (B. Žižović). She has collaborated with a number of eminent authors, such as: Sergio Pavat, Boško Obradović, Renato Pernić, Nello Milotti, Danijel Načinović, Ljubica Bestulić-Stanković, Andrej Baša, Bruno Zahtila, Đorđe Novković, Livio Morosin, Bruno Krajcar, Alen Vitasović, Bratislav Zlatanović, Andrej Babić, Dražen Zečić, Aleksandar Valenčić, Robert Grubišć, Ludvig Slana, Valmer Cusma, Dinko Š. Kalc, Z. Vrščaj and others, and she herself composed several songs that she performs (Volin te Istro, Mamma mia, Bionda, biondina, Kad srce voli, Šećer za kraj and others) | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Solaris Phase | Luca Emanuel Nicoletto Russo | Psychedelic Trance / Progressive Trance project from Austria, based in Padoue, Italy Luca Nicoletto - Solaris Phase in art, (born 1992 in Italy) is an Italian music artist with Austrian origins who lives and works around Italy and Europe. He started to create music in 2008, after an excellent drummer career in Music Accademy. Now Solaris music is concerned primarily with sounds in a variety of "soul" states, such as melody tones and noisy sounds, often using frequencies equalized on 432hz (the soul’s key). Every SOLARIS album are full of “key sounds” for the people's consciousness. Solaris says " the 432 Hz frequency sound is used to open the listeners minds and have a positively melodic music, but simultaneously psychedelic !" Rhythmically, Solaris music is highly imaginative, exploiting beat patterns and at the same times, using a variety of amazing tones to create a lovely music groove. His work is also encroaches on the world of ambient music, many tracks on his albums are slowly evolving soundscapes concerned with and with no sense of negative energy. He can create each type of music with a special personal style. Actually Solaris works on many different kinds of music: (for example): 432 Hz, Psy-Progressive, House-ProgresSive, Ambient/chill Out, Elektro, Intelligent D&B and much others.. Currently he manages in Italy an Electro-Music Corporation called "NU universe MUSIC" in collaboration with the most important electronic labels to grow together into the advanced music progression !
