Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Giuseppe Garuti | He made his debut in 1921 at Politeama Verdi of Cremona in Cavalleria Rusticana. He excited in 1921 the first sensation in Genoa as Alfredo in Verdi’s ‘’ Traviata’’. He had considerable career in the big Italian provincial stages, especially in Genoa, where he appeared with success among other things in 1922 in ‘’ Gioconda’’ of Ponchielli, in 1926 in ‘’Lucia di Lammermoor’’. In 1936 he made guest appearance at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo. He retired from the stage in 1940. He had to give up his career early, because he lost his voice, probably because he had too often sung the heavy parts. | |

Search | Add | 2 | Edu Su | Eduard Gilabert | Born in Lleida, he studies sol-fa and piano since he was 7, starts his own band when he was 16 and gets soon fascinated by the intensities of groups like Sonic Youth or Deus. At 20, he buys a GrooveBox 303 and starts producing electronic music with raspy bases, soaking up the electro and acid sounds. In 2002 he starts being part of the Club Bakomba as a partner, together with Robert Lamart and Pep Gaya (American typewriter). A small place where the German minimal techno is lived intensely. He plays in several local bars in his city, carries out a tour along the Czech Republic where he takes part in the Underground Garage urban festival in Prague and, finally, leaves his natal city to move to Bcn. From 2002, he joins the NsT group, through which they claim the stylistic diversity in opposition to the increasingly homogenized scene in Barcelona. He collaborates with Telenoika and Lectrovision, he spends his time in festivals and raves, and obtains a monthly residence in the P23 and in the B-Side. Nowadays, he shares set with Lectromind, developing sessions that go from the dubstep and the IDM to the electro and the most sober techno. In 2012, he starts materializing his personal project, Parabolic label, a record and audio-visual production label based on the full coexistence between the electronic music and the visual. With regard to his live sets, edu su tends to the breaks, electro and IDM, creating loaded scenes filled with emotion and contrasts that go from the most synthetic rhythmic crudeness to a sonorous density that invites you to be attentive to what is going on. Though of moderated bpm, it turns out to be forceful and danceable. |

Search | Add | 2 | Mc Koo | Kalle Havumäki | Born: June 6, 1991 MC Koo (aka. MC Pikku Koo and Koo Havumäki) was known the lead member of a hip hop group Resisposse, but later moved on to a solo career as Resisposse unofficially went on a hiatus. His mother is known as the news anchor of Yleisradio, Marjukka Havumäki. Havumäki gained publicity in 2006, when he performed in the Buusteri TV show on national television. The clip was uploaded to YouTube and soon it became an internet phenomenon with many humorous remix videos. Havumäki suffered from bullying in school and even pondered to quit his career as a hip hop artist. Together with his family Havumäki tried to get the videos off the internet, without success. Some time after this Havumäki gave out an exclusive interview, now saying that he's not offended by the humour built around him in the internet and that he finds it rather flattering. In the spring of 2010 Havumäki once again became the center of attention in the media when he was denied access to a restaurant called Hemingway's, due to him being mentally and physically disabled. The restaurant later apologized and claimed that Havumäki was mistaken for someone highly intoxicated, since he had stumbled on the restaurant's door. The Finnish Association of People with Physical Disabilities strictly considered the action discrimination against disabled people. |

Search | Add | 2 | Kayte Wolf | Kayte Strong | Kayte signed a recording contract with Silver Hill Records in 2009 and her first major album, "Born To Love You" was released worldwide August 24th, 2010. "Born" peaked at #9 on the Cashbox Pop Country and Roots Music Charts in December 2010 and January 2011, spending ten weeks in the top ten, and remained on the Americana Internet and Terrestial Radio Airplay Charts for 22 weeks. This album was produced by Jim Foster (formerly of the prestigious Music Row Cosmic Mule Group) who is a Grammy-nominated writer and publisher with an impressive track record including hits on Tim McGraw, Diamond Rio, Martina McBride, and Lonestar. Her album "Serene Noel" was her prior chart success with the group "Strong & Bryon"; it peaked at #93 in December 2003. Kayte Strong is a singer, songwriter, keyboardist, guitarist, ukulele artist, arranger, producer, engineer, recording artist and feature writer with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University Of Oregon and a degree in Keyboards from Dick Grove School of Music. She has released fifteen albums in the past fifteen years. She sold 200,000 recordings of her ORIGINAL music touring around the United States by herself in her funky purple van, and later in her sporty black Ford Focus. She has released many albums under other names such as "Kayte Wolf", "Kayt E. Wolf" and "Strong & Bryon" (instrumental compositions). As a backing vocalist and keyboardist in the nineties, Kayte Strong performed with some of the most successful artists of the fifties, sixties, and seventies before audiences as large as 25,000 people while a member of the "Crews Coalition Band" based in Los Angeles, California. Some of the artists she has performed with are: Al Wilson, Chris Montez, Lisa Lynne, The Champs, The Superbs, The Coasters, The Platters, Mel Carter, Tommy Roe, The Originals, The Safaris, Frankie Ford, Jimmy Beaumont, The Fleetwoods, The Intruders, Rosie and the Originals, the Penguins, Jewel Aikens, Paul and Paula, Sly, Slick & Wicked, The Three Degrees, The Tymes, Eddie Holman, Brenton Wood, Barbara Mason, Dee Dee Sharp, Little Eva, Barbara Lewis, Guy Mitchell, Richard Berry, Gaynel Hodge, The Delphonics, Barbara Lynn, Peaches & Herb, MC Blvd, Brenda Holloway, Al DeLory, the Chris Cobb Band, and Dennis Bryon (Amen Corner, Bee Gees). She was then "discovered" and brought to Nashville in 1998 by Grammy award-winning producer Al DeLory (Glen Cambell, Beachboys) after singing only one song in a church in Nashville, Tennessee. The result was the highly successful album "Four Roses", which continues to sell strongly after its release over twelve years ago. With the release of "Four Roses", Kayte had to give up all of her other gigs and concentrate solely on her recording career. Kayte Strong was one of the most popular vocalists touring the craft and art festival circuit from 1998 through 2008, with performances in a different city every weekend; 10,000 to 500,000 people were in attendance at each event. Her recording and writing partner Dennis Bryon was one of the musicians responsible for the incredible success enjoyed by the supergroup "BeeGees" in the seventies and eighties; Dennis was the drummer on such hits as "Staying Alive", and "You Should Be Dancin'". As a solo act, Kayte has opened for Earth, Wind and Fire and The Friends of Distinction, and was on radio and television on the west coast as a commercial singer. Her television and radio credits include performances on WSM ("The Opry Station"), the CSA Country Jam in Laurel, Maryland, Studio 10 (Morning Show) in Tampa Bay, Florida, Prebys On Music on the Dakota Access Channel and National Public Radio (NPR). She has sung on HBO in one of their movies of the month (Widow's Kiss), a major motion picture starring Sylvester Stallone and Shelley Winters ("Touch Of A Stranger"), and performed as a keyboardist on the syndicated television shows "Eye on Hollywood" and "Cagney and Lacey". She became a published writer for the first time in the Billboard Books release "Tales From The Rock And Roll Highway" and her song "Love On A Rainy Day" was in the series "Swingtown" on NBC. She has written film cues and title music for video in "Erik Winalda, American Hero", and several nature documentaries including the early winter 2010 DVD release entitled "Birds Gone Wild" by Ken Burgener with music by Kayte. Kayte is one-half of the instrumental duo "Strong & Bryon" which had a #96 chart record on the New Age Charts in 2003 with their release "Serene Noel". Kayte plays all of the keyboards and Dennis is the drummer in this New Age "Virtual Orchestra". As a keyboardist, Kayte was the originator of and was featured in the 1998 Keyboard Magazine cover article "Blow Off The Record Biz". |
