Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Lauren Hooker | Lauren is from Teaneck, NJ. In her bio it is written that Lauren "was born into music ... as early as in the womb (kicking to the beat - my mother tells me)... hearing my dad jam with his fellow musicians in the basement ... starting piano lessons at age four ... meeting Bill Evans at the Vanguard whom my father recorded with in college ... being exposed to and singing most of the major classical oratorios with full orchestra ...shaking hands with Duke Ellington and Dave Brubeck ...reaching for Sarah Vaughan's range, Ella's scat, Miles Davis' tone and Coltrane's intention. Lauren's talents were recognized and encouraged early in life and allowed her to develop her skills. Her critically acclaimed debut CD produced by Rufus Reid and Allen Farnham entitled: "Right Where I Belong" was released in May of 2007, with Rufus Reid on the bass, Allen Farnham on piano and Tim Horner on drums and percussion. In 2010, Lauren released "Life of the Music", which was described as both "ambitious and eclectic" with "American Songbook" standards, and several of her original songs. Lauren has been featured and can be heard in many major venues in the New York metropolitan area. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Lord Lombo | Lord Lombo, born on June 8, 1989, in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo, is a Pentecostal pastor of the Assemblies of God, Congolese cantor and founder of the ministry called "Lord Lombo Ministries". He first begins to evolve within his father's church as a singer in a worship group and is at the same time a preacher. He was born on June 8, 1989 and is the third in a Christian family of five children. From a pastor father and a church servant mother, Lord confirmed his Christian faith from the age of 10, during an evangelistic campaign organized at his father's church, a year after the death of his mother. He spent his childhood between his studies and Christian circles. He obtained a state diploma in biology and chemistry at the Boboto College in Kinshasa. In 2009, still a medical student at the Protestant University in Congo (UPC), Lord Lombo left his father's church and joined the Philadelphia Missionary Center, a Pentecostal church of the Assemblies of God , to evolve under the responsibility of Pastor Roland Dalo who becomes his spiritual father. In 2012, he abandoned his medical studies to concentrate on his ecclesiastical passion. Some two months later, he finds a way out for the United States, he goes there to study theology. Three years later, he returned to the Democratic Republic of the Congo and served first as a trainee pastor, then responsible for a few departments within the Philadelphia Missionary Center. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | La Soberana | La Soberana is a Uruguayan Murga (traditional carnival group) founded in 1969. Censored and banned by the military-civic dictatorship in 1974, she participated again in the Uruguayan carnival in 1987, 2006 and 2007. History Rooted in the La Comercial neighborhood of Montevideo, the murga was created by José Alanís (later known as "Pepe Veneno"), his brothers César, Luís and Darwin and Ángel "Pelado" Díaz, among others, in the troubled years 1969. year after its creation, they obtain the first prize in the official contest of the Uruguayan carnival, and later they publish several long plays for the disappeared Macondo seal. The political position of the murga, critical of the government of that time, earned her censorship and persecution of its members, who were occasionally deprived of their freedom. The year after the 1973 coup d'etat that ended up installing the dictatorial regime, the murderess parades dressed in national colors and chained through the streets of Montevideo. For this fact it is prohibited and one of its main figures, José "Pepe" Alanís is arrested for "moral attack against the Armed Forces, vilification and derision." After being subjected to torture and a three-year imprisonment, Alanís emigrates to Sweden as a political refugee. After the return to democracy, the murga appears in the contest of 1987, with a style that José "Pepe" Alanis catalogs as "opera-murga", that is, a structured show as a play with an approach, development and outcome In 2006, almost 20 years after his last presentation, he returns to participate in the official contest of murgas of the Uruguayan carnival. Within its ranks are several of its founding members. | |

Faithfully to the terms of the genre, hard beats alternate with melodic but still aggressive parts. After this style increasingly fell into oblivion in the new millennium it experienced a certain revival in 2007. Hence the focus was increasingly set on progressiveness instead of melody. Solexis also takes account of this change of time. Meanwhile productions have a strong progressive character and rarely contain melodic influences.

| Search | Add | 2 | Sans Claire | "Under the enigmatic name "Sans Claire", Bernese singer Simone Abplanalp sings about fleeting feelings and great desires, about wanderlust and homecoming, about death and the devil - about love, in fact. These are stories told simply and without frills, sung tenderly and yet hauntingly, poetic miniatures on quiet soles - and melodies that, once there, can no longer be shooed away. The chansons are embedded in playful arrangements. Sans Claire make sounds for the soul." | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Simian Life | Simian Life came into being as a studio project for brothers and longtime Los Angeles psych veterans Andy Campanella and Rob Campanella. Inspired by intrepid acts mainly from the golden eras of yesteryear, the brothers, along with like-minded collaborators, seek to capture the sounds of wherever their muses may take them. Whether the song be mellower (à la Nick Drake, Roy Harper, or The Beatles) or heavier (à la The Move, The Who, or The Beatles), Simian Life puts an emphasis on instrumental and vocal texture in hopes of creating an atmosphere for going within or traveling throughout...or both. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Samuel Hubert | French Jazz Musician (Double Bass, Composition) Born: 1978 or 1979 Died: February 2024 Samuel Hubert emerged as a formidable talent within the French jazz scene, renowned for his mastery of the double bass and his contributions as a composer. His musical journey was rooted in the prestigious Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Marseille (CNR), where he honed his skills and developed a passion that would define his career. Throughout his career, Hubert collaborated with a wide array of musicians, showcasing his versatility and depth as an artist. Early on, he performed alongside notable figures such as Hugo Lippi, Olivier Hutman, Xavier Richardeau, and Laurent Courtalhiac, weaving his distinct sound into a diverse range of jazz styles. A pivotal moment in Hubert's career was the formation of the Switch Trio, alongside pianist Fred Nardin and guitarist Maxime Fougères. This collaboration was a testament to his innovative approach to jazz, resulting in two acclaimed albums that further solidified his place in the jazz community. His ability to blend seamlessly with his trio partners while asserting his unique musical voice was a hallmark of their success. Beyond the trio, Hubert's talent and creativity led him to work with other jazz luminaries, including Samy Thiébault, Karim Blal, Véronique Hermann Sambin, and Jean-Philippe Scali, among others. His recent work with Olivier Temime on the album "Inner Songs" (2022) displayed his continued relevance and artistic evolution in the modern jazz scene. Hubert's contributions to jazz were not confined to performance alone. He was a key member of the jazz band Wax, which released the album "Mollo" in 2023. His involvement in ten recording sessions between 2010 and 2022, as noted by jazz historian Tom Lord, underscores his prolific output and enduring influence on jazz music. | |
