Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Double Mute | Double Mute is a venture founded by Jacob Rosenberg (co-founder of Vitam Aeternam, Desperate Machines, and In Progress). Their mission statement is simple: CORPORATE MUSIC FOR CORPORATE PEOPLE. Originally created in a silo, Rosenberg strategically pivoted and merged with other innovative thought leaders in the space to build a network and unlock the project's full musical potential. Corporate Culture is a proof of concept or minimal viable product (MVP) designed to overwhelm the senses and fill listeners with a sense of dread and a healthy “case of the Mondays.” Its forward-thinking blend of pop, noise rock, industrial, funk metal, and chamber music tested off the charts in focus groups and is now ready for public consumption. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | мʌvʌ | мʌvʌ is audiovisual artist who comes from Slovakia. Prior to songwriting, he had been writing poetry for several years. He never attended any music classes, so to compensate for it he started experimenting with different sounds, structures, rhythms and melodies. After recording some virtual piano demos at dorm which later turned into songs, he self-released debut album "Sinusoidal" under artistic name мʌvʌ in April 2016. Sonically, the record is a tilting mix of artificial and organic sounds, heaviness represented by grandiose church pipe and reed organs and lightness by uplifting solemn synth strings. In 2017, short 4-track EP of covers titled "Lues" came to life. It comprises of his own renditions of popular tracks from the late 50’s and early 60’s era. Trying to improve his skills, мʌvʌ decided to teach himself acoustic guitar. These attempts gave birth to the sophomore acoustic record "Enklávy bezlesia" [in English "Forest-free Enclaves"]. All songs (unlike those on the first album) are sung in Slovak language andhave their individual audiovisual presentation (music video, lyric video, photographies, herbarium). The album is primarily based on wordplay and its style is called "Slovák retrogard" in order to refer to the retrospective aspect of lyrics presented in new unorthodox context. The third record titled "Sun & Moon" explores living in the nether world with intricate animal aesthetics conveyed by vocal experiments, combining organic instrumentals with gloomy sounds of vintage synths. | |

Shortly after landing in Johannesburg in 2004, Orecchia, a Brooklyn born and schooled wanderer, who wound up in Berlin as a teenager messing with experi- mental punk before moving years later to South Africa, heard some talk about a psychedelic afro-rock outfit called BLK JKS. They became fast friends and have been working together on projects ever since. Mpumi and Tshepang (guitar and drums respectively) contributed to João's 2009 album, Hands & Feet, and would often join him on stage, adding thunderous beats and general bigness to the otherwise textural and floating soundscapes. Slowly they started becoming a band. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Mynis | Matty G. - Drums Jason B. - Bass Guitar Rob G. - Guitar Thomas V. - Vocals/Percussion Mynis is a four piece progressive hard rock band formed in 1998 in the central California city of Fresno. Mynis is made up of Matty Gonzales on Drums, Robert Gonzalez on Guitar, Jason Benham on bass, and Tom Vlahavas on vocals/percussion. Mynis, whose style goes beyond any genre, has developed many loyal and devoted fans all over the country. They have survived many scenes and shared the stage with many diverse and different styles of music from heavy metal, to hardcore, to punk and anything else you can imagine. Hitting early gigs on Warped Tour 2000, 2001 and also playing many big local events sponsored by Fresno radio stations such as New Rock 104 and 103.7 KRZR led them to great success early on. This success helped launch them into a very productive and eventful career which continues on today. Since their formation in the late 90's they have shared the stage with such acts as Weezer, 311, Alien Ant Farm, Zebra Head, Pennywise and many, many more. Playing with such acts and doing extensive touring throughout California helped them catch the ear of high profile producer Sylvia Massy Shivy (known for her work with Tool, System Of A Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Prince). They recorded their first full length album during the winter of 2003 with Sylvia and release it through independent label 5k records. This album helped launch them into full west coast touring and nation wide recognition. Their single "Bye Tomorrow" entered heavy rotation on local channel 103.7 KRZR and many other stations across the country in Texas, Ohio, New York, Nevada and Arizona, just to mention a few. Mynis, whose live show has left many stunned, keep hard at work writing and recording and are ready to dive into the next level of their career. With positive attitudes and a drive that won't quit, Mynis continues to tour and catch the ear of many. Their willingness to succeed is only superseded by their unmatched original sound. The Mynis website still receives hundreds of hits daily. After selling more then 20,000 records with little promotion other than touring, some radio exposure and word of mouth alone, the band continues to thrive and grow in popularity. Give them a listen! You won't be disappointed. Go see a live show and you will never be the same! Let’s bring it! | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Neal Kay | British heavy metal/hard rock DJ, producer, live sound engineer and concert promoter (b. 10 February 1950). Neal Kay was one of the forefathers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) movement alongside [a=Tommy Vance] and [a=Geoff Barton]. From 1975 to 1980, Neal Kay, who has been DJ'ing at London youth clubs since the mid-sixties, managed a venue called "The Bandwagon Heavy Metal Soundhouse," originally in the back room of the Prince of Wales public house in Kingsbury, North London. With one of the city's loudest club PA sound systems (8 kW JBL/Martin speakers) and Kay's passion for hard-n-heavy music, the Bandwagon soon became the main center of attraction for metalheads. In August 1978, Neal Kay invited [a=Geoff Barton], a deputy editor of Sounds, England's leading music newspaper, to attend one of his Bandwagon nights. Barton was surprised to see a metal scene alive and blossoming in the era when punk seemingly dominated the mainstream. Sounds soon began publishing a weekly Heavy Metal chart, solely based on Kay's DJ requests at Bandwagon and featuring mainly pre-punk era bands: [a=UFO (5)], [a=Rush], [a=Scorpions], [a=Rainbow], etc. Other periodicals that covered the new underground movement included [l=Melody Maker]. In November '78, [a=Tommy Vance] launched his new radio program, "Friday Rock Show," on [l=BBC], also dedicated to heavy metal/hard-rock repertoire. In May 1979, Neal Kay organized a historical concert for [a=Angel Witch], [a=Iron Maiden], and [a=Samson (3)] at [l=The Music Machine] in London. Geoff Barton reviewed the event with a centerfold article in Sounds titled: "If You Want Blood (and Flashbombs and Dry Ice and Confetti) You Got It." Barton's boss and Sounds editor-in-chief, [a=Alan Lewis (2)], penned the ironic subtitle for the piece: "The New Wave Of British Heavy Metal: first in an occasional series by Deaf Barton;" and that's how a catchy NWOBHM term was born. With the media exposure and highly-publicized new "movement," Neal Kay became one of the UK's first high-caliber rock/metal DJs. He toured with [a=Black Sabbath], [a=Ronnie James Dio], [a=AC/DC], [a=Judas Priest], [a=Ted Nugent], [a=Motörhead] and other prominent acts, playing sets at venues from [l=Rainbow Theatre London] to [l=Hammersmith Odeon]. Kay participated in compiling and producing demo tapes for new unsigned bands at [l=Spaceward Studios] in Cambridge: [a=Saxon], [a=Praying Mantis (3)], Apocalypse and [a=Iron Maiden] (which soon landed a contract with [l=EMI], partially due to Neal Kay's efforts). In 1980, the label released [m=150039] LP compilation with an assortment of Soundhouse demos; Neal wrote liner notes and helped to compile the release. The same year, he appeared as an MC at the inaugural [l=Monsters Of Rock Festival]. During his Japanese tour with members of Praying Mantis, ex-Iron Maiden, and [a=The Sweet], Neal Kay arranged a collaboration with [l=Pony Canyon] label, resulting in the release of [r=13753360] CD compilation. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Plexigo | Lovis Einsmann | Label: Crystallin Music / Unterholz / PsyArmy Located: Wiesbaden, Hessen - Germany Style: Forest / Psytrance / Twilight / Night Psy / Goa Trance / Psygressive / Minimal Dark Progressive Info & Biography: ENGLISH: Plexigo is the name of the psychedelic music project by Lovis Einsmann from Wiesbaden, Germany. Since 2009 Plexigo is leashed by the driving basslines and enlightning melodies of Goa Trance and Psytrance. After discovering the synapse twisting sound frequencies of a DJ-Set mixed by the old Goa stager “Stefan Ludley”, well known in the Rhein-Main area, he was instantly addicted to this kind of music. Stefan helped him to get a connection to the recording company “Crystallin Music” and Plexigo started to produce tracks which are characterised by his very own style. In the beginning he described his music as “Psygressive Trance”, later the focus was set more to “Forest Trance”, “Twilight” and “Night Psy”. Since 2013 Plexigo is the main organizer and visionary mastermind of the Wiesbaden based “UNTERHOLZ” event project, that got quite popular in the Rhein-Main area and all around Germany during the last years. The indoor party series “TREIBHOLZ” invites international artists and sets the focus on the build up of a vibrant and resonating “Forest” scene in his actual hometown Wiesbaden. Right now Plexigo is more into DJing than producing own music. His style is a twisted mix of Twilight, Liquid Night Psy and mystical, driving Forest Trance. In 2017/2018 Plexigo played on the “Transylvaliens Festival” in Romania, two DJ-Sets in Switzerland and on multiple events and locations in the Rhein-Main area, such as the “Tanzhaus West” or “MTW Club” in Frankfurt am Main, the Bellini Club Mainz or the “FlaFla” in Herford. Source: Plexigo @ Facebook |
