Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Viktoriya Yermolyeva | Viktoriya Yermolyeva | Viktoriya Yermolyeva (Ukrainian: Вікто́рія Єрмо́льєва, born November 2, 1978) is an Ukrainian pianist. She started as a classical pianist and won several international piano competitions[citation needed] but she later became known through her YouTube portal under the nickname 'vkgoeswild' for creating piano covers of famous rock and metal songs. After the success, thanks to her YouTube videos, she officially switched her career from classical to rock music. After studying at the Tchaikovsky Music Academy in Ukraine (2000), she completed her graduate studies at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Weimar, and the International Piano Academy "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola, Italy with the famous pianist Lazar Berman. Further studies took her to the Codarts Academy of Music and Modern Dance, at Rotterdam Conservatory, Netherlands. In the early classical phase of her career, she won a variety of piano competitions, such as 1st Prize at "Filippo Trevisan" competition for Piano Interpretation in Italy, winner of The Grachtenfestival 2005 Amsterdam, 1st Prize at 35th International Competition "Vincenzo Bellini" in Italy, 1st Prize at 20th International Piano Competition "Citta di Marsala", 1st Prize at International Piano Competition “Citta' Di Trani”, 1st Prize at 4th Sigismund Thalberg International Competition, and the Grand Prix at 9th Pierre Lantier International Music Competition in duet with V. Dmitriev (flute) in France. Since 2006 she refocused her career on playing rock music, concentrating on heavy metal covers by the whole gamut of famous metal bands. | Search | Add | 3 | Invernomuto | Invernomuto is the name of the artistic personality created in 2003 by Simone Bertuzzi (Piacenza, 1983) and Simone Trabucchi (Piacenza 1982. They work and live in Milan). Invernomuto is the author of a series of research projects structured in time and space, from which cycles of interconnected works derive. On a common theoretical basis, Invernomuto tends to think in an open and rhizomatic manner, developing different outputs that take the form of moving images, sounds, performative actions and publishing projects, within the framework of a practice defined by the use – as diffuse as it is precise – of different media. Reality is observed according to documentaristic principles and interests, but for the purpose of creating an imaginative and almost abstract representation, which offers wide margins for reflection and critical interrogation. In particular, Invernomuto investigates subcultural universes, moving through different practices, in which the vernacular language is one way of approaching and appreciating oral cultures and contemporary mythologies, observed with a gaze that aspires to be cross-fertilised and regenerated by it. The declared inauthenticity of some of the materials used plays a fundamental role in this process, which underlines not only the real but also the fictitious and distorted nature of the realities that Invernomuto explores. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Escaso Aporte | Trayectoria. Compromiso. Diversidad musical. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | FugaSatanae | Dark ambient project from Russia. Alex Hedin (concept, music, artwork, mastermind of the project, from the beginning) Andres Westrvm (sampling, additional help, since 2007; appears on "the Heritage") It initially started by Alex Hedin with the idea of making a PC-game (Quest) along with his friend in 2000. He was really into occult stuff that time, so Lovecraft's stories got to be a reasonable choice for both of them... Alex Hedin took part in producing sounds and samples, being a concept-designer at the same time. Unfortunatelly, due to failure of a hard-drive on our PC, we've lost all the data, except musical score. We felt devastated, and finally decided to close the project in 2001... Coming back to what he had composed, Alex Hedin came up with the idea to explore the field he once discovered - to use the material he had and reproduce it into something personal, so that the music wouldn't touch its narrative side only (like it used to be in the game), but also showed his own feelings to it. Three years later... It's spring, 2004 and Alex Hedin got the first long-play record to the date - "The Descendant", a typical Dark Ambient with its strong feel of influence from Lustmord's early material (1982-84). Three more years left... FugaSatanae represente "The Heritage" CD with much better sound quality and more mature musical construction of each track on the album. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Red McCoy | Wayne Evon Busbice | Wayne Evon Busbice (1929-2011), who performed and recorded in the fifties and sixties as Red McCoy, is probably most remembered for two things; being the older brother of the troubled and brilliant bluegrass mandolinist/tenor Buzz Busby, and for having written and recorded a strange pseudo-Rockabilly track, "Rock And Roll Atom". Red and Buzz were Louisiana farm boys whose life trajectories could not have been more stark in their differences. While Buzz led a life riddled with drug and alcohol problems, prison stints, and a shattered career, brother Wayne’s many faceted career involved distinguished military service, advanced higher education, and a long run in music as a performer, recording artist and producer. Late in life he authored a volume on the family history of the Busbice name in Louisiana titled "Uncovering the Secrets of a Southern Family: A Memoir", about which a press release states "But the undercurrent of Wayne's life remained a driving need to uncover the family secret: a killing the adults whispered about when they gathered behind closed doors. Wayne discovered he was living under a false name; Cousin Allen was really his grandfather; and Allen had lived a double life as a fugitive from the Pinkerton detectives of the 1890s." |
