Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Domas Žeromskas | Domas Žeromskas | The 23-year-old Lithuanian jazz pianist and composer has spent his early formative years on stage alongside prominent native jazz veterans. By the time he graduated high school, Domas was already a sought-after player, known for his technical versatility and soulful, eclectic taste. At the age of 18 Žeromskas released his debut album “Infinite Itinerant”, showcasing original music composed and arranged during his teenage years, some tunes dating back to 2015. Along with an abundant team of Lithuanian musicians, the album featured guest performances from Braxton Cook & Gustav Karlström. In the following years he has been recording and touring internationally with artists such as Jacques Schwarz-Bart, Gregory Tardy, Faryi Malek, Naledi Masilo, Tom Scott, and was also part of Euroradio Jazz Orchestra, hosted by WDR (Cologne, Germany). In 2021 he started the acclaimed trio with Ian Quinton Banno on bass and Héctor L. Falu Guzmán on drums. Besides serving as a first-call rhythm section at Berklee College of Music and for a handful of seasoned jazz musicians, the group did multiple residencies in Lithuania, performing festivals, teaching clinics and working with a handful of local and visiting artists. Upon graduating from Berklee, Domas recorded “Meditations on Providence and Perseverance, Vol.1”. Featuring collaborations with Gregory Groover Jr., Nadje Noordhuis, Gregory Tardy, Alexandria DeWalt and many others, the album appeared in March 2024. The pianist currently resides in Boston, pursuing his masters at the New England Conservatory. He cites Gerald Clayton, Keith Jarrett, Sullivan Fortner and Rev. James Cleveland as influences. Domas’ original music combines Post-Bop and metrically-nuanced modern jazz with Gospel/sacred music traditions and Afro-Caribbean styles. The repertoire is also enriched by modern adaptations of his native Lithuanian composers’ songbook and Baltic folklore. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Tom Gardberg | Tom Gardberg | Born 1941. A Finnish singer and songwriter. Trubaduuri Tom Gardberg (s. -41) aloitti jazzmusiikin parissa 14-vuotiaana. Hän oli mukana, kun turkulainen "Harlem Jazz Club" otti ensiaskeleitaan vuonna 1961 ja kuuluu edelleen elinvoimaisen Clubin jamimestareihin. Vuonna 1966 Tom perusti laulelmaseuran "Sällskapet Visans Vänner i Åbo", joka on maan toiseksi vanhin laulelmaseura. Tom on toiminut varsinaisen leipätyönsä ohella trubaduurina vuodesta 1964 lähtien, jolloin hän voitti Turun ruotsinkielisen "Ponnahdus pinnalle" -laulelmakilpailun. Vuonna 1965 Tomin laulelma Natthamn - Yösatama sijoittui kolmanneksi kilpailussa, jossa Tove Janssonin ja Erna Tauron kappale Höstvisa sai toisen palkinnon. Vuonna 1979 hän voitti Siipyyn laulelmakilpailun laululla Någon nynnar en vals ja 1989 Kotkan meripäivien merimieslaulukilvan laululla Yöpurjehdus. Tom Gardberg on julkaissut kaksi LP-levyä ja vuonna 2002 tupla-CD:n, joka sisältää jokseenkin koko hänen siihenastisen tuotantonsa. Sama materiaali on julkaistu nuottivihkosena Schildts -kustantamon toimesta. "Laulelmantekijänä Tom Gardberg edustaa yli neljän vuosikymmenen kattavalla tuotannollaan trubaduuriperinteen absoluuttista kärkeä. Hänen laulujensa taustalta kuultaa menneitten vuosikymmenten kotimusisoinnin perinne". Gardbergin aihepiiri liikkuu meren, saariston, perheen ja suurten eksistentiaalisten kysymysten ympärillä." | Search | Add | 4 | Burning Emotion | Japanese melodic power metal and hard rock band from Tokyo, originally called Move Over and formed around 1993-1994. Burning Emotion is one of the very few Christian metal bands out of Japan. Their musical influences include bands like; Stryper, Guardian, Mass, Zeno, Fair Warning and good ol' Japanese heavy metal from the '80s aka 'Japameta'. The band's debut 5-track EP entitled "Hard Rock Missionary" was privately released on the band's own label Emotional Melodies in 2002, and is now very rare to find and highly sought-after. Studied Graphic Art at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent, Belgium. After a long and influential stay in Scandinavia, he returned to Ghent where he now lives and works. |

| Search | Add | 4 | OO Soul | OO Soul | Formed in 1994 and based in Long Beach, CA, OO Soul is a gritty reflection of the diverse urban culture they hail from. With its notorious reputation for the seedier side of life, it’s no wonder that the local underground has chosen OO Soul as its soundtrack. The music of this “Eight Piece Brotherhood” funks so hard that it will take two washings to get its smell out of your threads. Founded upon the simple premise of creating a live dance band, OO Soul blends classic soul, R&B, and Latin grooves — reminiscent of the JBs and War — all updated nicely with a young, fresh, aggressive edge. Instrumental Soul, Funk and Latin (Afro-Cuban). The artist's name is two zeros, a dash then Soul (like 007 James Bond). OO-Soul has been used in several song names and at least one movie title. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Bill Agle | My love of acoustic music started in the high country of North Carolina. Being left handed I taught myself how to play upside down. I was 17 years old when I got my hands on a brand-new Martin D-18, later a D-35 and finally an N-20. I never looked back or wanted other guitars. I still record and play live with the same guitars. I seemed destined to meet great musicians and others involved in music. During my years in college in the North Carolina mountains, I came to know some very talented people, many of whom are now life-long friends I do appreciate everyone’s support so much. It has been a long and costly road to re-obtain the publishing rights to my music, bring three past projects to CD, and at the same time record new music while working on the studio. You have no idea how much I appreciate the musicians and engineers who have surrounded me and have lifted me up to a better sound. I am now looking forward to the next project. Enjoy! Bill | |

| Search | Add | 4 | John Koviak | Emerging from the Southern California alternative music scene in the late 1980's, John started out as a guitarist/bassist before unfulfilling band experiences (with London After Midnight, for instance) eventually prompted him to try and create music on his own. John's first solo project Sub Version was born. Taking on the tasks of songwriting, lyrics/vocals, instruments, programming, and production entirely on his own John successfully completed three releases: Metamorphosis (1992), Damaged Gods (1994), and The Winds of War (1997). In the summer of 1996 John accompanied Faith and the Muse at the Zillo Festival as guitarist. Upon his return from Europe he rejoined the band for the U.S. "Apparition" tour. After the Winds of War, John took a break in order to realize some new ideas that were emerging that seemed to be a departure from Sub Version. The Heaven EP in 2002 (as John Koviak) was the official beginning of this new chapter and the Imagination EP (as Koviak) followed soon after in 2003. John has most recently been seen active as a live guitarist and violinist for Faith & the Muse. He accompanied them on their European 2003 “Burning Season” tour, performed with them at Mera Luna 2004, on the 2004 United States tour and lastly in Santiago, Chile. | |

As a kid for him it was a bunch of years to search and discover through the gigantic records collection some of the most fantastic and rare masterpiece of these decades. Nowadays these memories bring back a new kind of creation for him. Music lover, DJ, producer Joel is active in the electronic music genre for more than 15 years. All has begun with The Badgers back in 2002 with two second hand Technics turntables. He was party manager of big electronic music festivals in the east of France and after that he started to produce some dark techno / minimal tracks with his best friend as The Badgers. After numerous music productions during more than 10 years in the dark techno / minimal branch with the Badgers (Creepy Finger Rec, Plankton Repellent, Momentum League, Killing Machine Rec. and many more) Joel decides to make a solo project to explore the another creative side of his personality, deeper and funkier. “Nasty Preacher” is the new born of this choice. “Nasty” was how some people portrayed the music his influences. “Preacher” is a nod to James Brown. | Search | Add | 4 | Khanada | Khanada is the solo project of Andy K. Smith, former frontman for the Post Punk band, Peeling Grey. After a three year absence from the local music scene, Andy Smith returns with new material. Khanada is a continuation of the direction of his former project, while breaking new ground and creating a sound of its own. This effort will feature not only the results of time spent alone, but also collaborations from across the spectrum. As opposed to committing to album releases from previous endeavors, Khanada is a singles based project. New songs will be released regularly, sometimes weeks after their completion. One of the goals of this project is to bring the listener closer to the point of inspiration of songwriting. Album releases are great, but they can be a long and drawn out process. Over time, from the initial spark to mastering, certain elements of a song can change. Hence, a singles schedule may retain some more of that genesis. That's just one of the things that will set Khanada apart from the past

Gale started playing piano at age 6 and became interested in boogie-woogie and Dixieland music around 11. At 15 years old, he heard Ragtime Piano music and compositions by Scott Joplin and set out with the ambition to memorize all of Joplin’s Rags. In 1981 Gale released the vinyl album Rhythms in Ragtime with Stomp Off Records. In 2006 Gale released the CD Alabama Bound. Gale also appears on 57 Different Kins of Blues. Gale settled in St. Louis Missouri around 1980 and played daily for the shows on The Goldenrod Showboat as well as playing at various St. Louis area clubs and restaurants. | Search | Add | 4 | A Dozen Dying Roses | In these increasingly violent times, heavy music has become just as brutal. A Dozen Dying Roses are the emotion of today’s youth. Formed in 2004 from the ashes of numerous fallen bands, ADDR has risen. Through passion, conviction, and pure hostility towards the society that has been built around them, like many great sounds, sorrow and hope are the catalyst. Like most bands the age of its members plays a part in the how the songwriting is influenced. ADDR ranges in age from 19 to 29. This makes for an interesting mix of old school hardcore and metal traditions, and modern day melodies and ideals. Basically it’s metal as haunting as the Swedish innovators, with breakdowns that rival the heaviest hitters of today. With 2 successful demos under there arm ADDR are ready for bigger and better things. Through dedication this band has become a force in there scene and are growing in popularity with every venture made from there home in Staten Island, NY.

| Search | Add | 4 | Peel MD | "Swedish duo PEEL MD was formed in 2008 after Tomrum finally managed to persuade A. Stantz that they should jam together. The core of their sound is driving drums, 303's (there's something particular about them), noise-free midi, lots of fx and a dub approach to the often cheap mixer desk. Since their 2012 debut "Grip EP" on Börft Records (which blew the ears off the Swedish underground with its 120bpm dirty and wobbly psychotic acid techno) the releases have kept coming. The foundations of their music lie back in the early 90's; they both grew up on the countryside outside the town Örebro, both were dreamers and were pretty much alone to be into house and techno, plus they both had older brothers that where into synth music. This shared background led to a friendship that later evolved into PEEL MD. They quickly discovered they worked good together and while Tomrum was an awkwardly-obsessive sound junkie, A. Stantz had a feel for how to mould their acid explorations into something danceable with a beginning, middle and an end. They also discovered they both had a slight hearing impairment but luckily in different ears, so together they would still be able to hear in stereo. Sometimes the sum of two takes it all to another level, and PEEL MD, one of Sweden’s best kept underground secrets, is a great example of this!" The band released their first album "Es is Zeit" in 2009. This was followed by "TRANCITIV" (2012) and "Roots" (2014). The name TRANCITIV is meant to indicate both a potential achievement of a trance-like state through music and the fundamentally positive vibes the band spreads through their music. The profound and partly socially critical lyrics, which are written by Mike, let the need for more "togetherness" in love and respect be felt. Trancitive music should give people hope, but at the same time give them joy and above all motivate them to dance! | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Dedloft | Dedloft is a five-piece, dynamic metal band that has taken the Erie, PA and surrounding region's music scene by storm. With a deadly combination of slow-grooving hardcore riffs combined with singing and screaming melodies of two different vocalists, this crew regularly tears down venue after venue all over Northwestern Pennsylvania, Northeastern Ohio and parts of New York. Formed during the winter of 2000, Dedloft spent many prior years as hard rock act "Gutwrench", establishing a local fan base before launching the current line-up. Anxious to get things rolling, Dedloft were soon steadily practicing, booking shows, and recording their first release by January of 2002. Word of Dedloft's infectious sound spread rapidly throughout Erie County and surrounding areas as the band would go on to sell over 1000 copies of their debut E.P. within months of its original release. By the fall of 2002 Dedloft were ready to head back into Watchmen Studios and begin recording their sophomore effort, a three-song demo that sold 400 plus copies in less than eight weeks. The band later compiled these recording with studio sessions recorded in early 2003 to form what is now their full-length L.P. Burned. Burned is twelve tracks of energetic hard rock that has helped to establish the band as one of Erie's leading musical talents. Tracks from the album receive airplay on Edinboro University's 88.9 F.M., Gannon University's FM 90 and other popular rock stations within the area. The songs are heavy and driving but maintain a sense of pop-accessibility that allows for Dedloft to draw fans from many different genres of alternative music. The added flavor of having an electronic keyboardist in the band, allows Dedloft to dabble with eerie tones and samples that add depth and mood to their songs and performances. Burned has gone on to sell a respectable 800 copies over the last 6 months with virtually no distribution (circa 12/03). Apart from having a solid full-length album under their belts, Dedloft has made a name for themselves by having an unrelenting work ethic. The band promotes, books, finances, and often runs sound for their live musical endeavors. The band remains devoted to their fans by always putting on explosive performances that are accepting of all walks of life. This positive attitude behind their aggressive music has made for a strong and steadily growing base of loyal fans. The band has already had the privilege of sharing the stage with such national acts as Mushroomhead, Pro-Pain, Dope, Slitheryn, Run-Devil-Run and A Love for Enemies. Other achievements for Dedloft include winning Planet Radio 93.9F.M./Budweiser Battle of the Bands contest at Sherlock's Erie, PA in early 2003. The win came after several heart-felt performances that beat out 17 other local talents and attracted sell-out crowds. Dave Richards of The Erie Daily Times quoted a judge of the contest, Sia Michels, as saying, "It was fun to come back home after so long and come to Sherlock's, where I used to hang out. Just to see a huge turnout like this is impressive. It's a cold, snowy Wednesday night, and the place is just packed." Sia Michels is an Erie native and current executive editor of Spin, a national music magazine. These large crowds that have impressed such music figures as even Michels, are a regular occurrence for Dedloft. Recently, Dedloft's fan base has only continued to grow. It's not uncommon to roll up to a Dedloft show and see fans sporting Dedloft windbreakers, hoodies, T-shirts, and using they're patented can coozies or spinning Dedloft yo-yos. In the music industry, name recognition is an important aspect of survival. Few bands in Erie County, PA are more of a household name than Dedloft. With this type of local success many bands often become "big-headed," but the modest and straightforward members of Dedloft rise above scene rivalry and remain committed to their music and their local music scene. During the past few months, Dedloft have begun work on a new release at Diecaster Studios in Erie, PA. The members are all very excited about the recording and have begun to perform some of the new tracks live to the pleasure of many anxious fans. Expect to hear more great music coming your way from this motivated crew as they continue to tour through the Erie and surrounding region. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Philips Wouwerman | Philips Wouwerman also Wouwermans | Philips Wouwerman (also Wouwermans) (24 May 1619 (baptized) – 19 May 1668) was a Dutch painter of hunting, landscape and battle scenes. Philips Wouwerman was one of the most versatile and prolific artists of the Dutch Golden Age. Embedded in the artistic environment and tradition of his home town of Haarlem, Wouwerman made an important and highly influential contribution to the canon of seventeenth-century Dutch painting. His pictures were in demand during his lifetime, and even more sought after in the 18th century. Throughout Europe, formerly princely art collections like in Dresden and St. Petersburg still bear witness to this widespread admiration of Wouwerman's art. Born in Haarlem in 1619, the son of a now altogether obscure painter named Pouwels Joostsz. Wouwerman, little is known about the artistic schooling of Wouwerman. According to Cornelis de Bie, he studied with [a=Frans Hals] (1581/85–1666), but the particular style of Hals didn't leave a foot mark on his oeuvre. Apart from a short stay in Hamburg at the end of the 1630s, Wouwerman seemed to have lived in Haarlem during his whole artistic career and died as a prosperous member of the community at the age of 48. He joined the Haarlem Guild of St. Luke in 1640 and here took on several official posts in the years to come. Wouwerman also worked as an estate agent in his home town, as many documents in Haarlem archives mentioned the artist in this context. Wouwerman started his artistic career with simple depictions of everyday life in the tradition of the bamboccianti by Pieter van Laer (1592/99–after 1642). His paintings of the mid-1640s often feature a diagonal slope of land, a tree which functions as a repoussoir, and figures accompanied by horses. Over the next thirty years he developed an individual style, treating a wide range of subjects from genre and landscape to military and religious scenes (equestrian scenes, hunting and hawking parties, landscapes with travelers, cavalry battles and military encampments, peasants festivities etc.). He is noted for his skill in the depiction of horses of all breeds seen in motion. The art historian Frederik J. Duparc calls Wouwerman " undoubtedly the most accomplished and successful 17th-century Dutch painter of horses". The masterpieces from his best period (around 1650–1660) are of indisputably high quality, beautifully combining imaginary southern landscapes and a typically Dutch atmosphere. Wouwerman's paintings are characterized by subdued colors, a cool atmosphere and a wealth of witty, anecdotal details. He died in Haarlem. At an early age, Wouwerman married Anna Pietersz. van Broeckhoff with whom he had ten children. They lived on the Bakenessergracht in a house that was also lived in by Haarlem painters Cornelis Gerritsz Decker and Hendrik de Meijer. Seven of the Wouwerman children survived and, after the death of their mother in 1670, accepted a substantial inheritance. Jan and [a=Pieter Wouwerman], the younger brothers of Philips, were often regarded as close followers whose pictures seemed to have been frequently attributed to Philips. And indeed, the oeuvre of Pieter (1623–1682) clearly manifests the influence of Philips with regard to the range of subjects, but regarding the artistic style, Pieter had quite one of his own. And Jan (1629–1666) was a rather autonomous landscape painter. Out of the countless followers, some of the most gifted artists working in Wouwerman's style are worth mentioning: Jan van Huchtenburgh (1647–1733), the brothers Jan Frans (1683–1750) and Joseph van Bredael (1688–1739) as well as Carel van Falens (1683–1733). His registered pupils were Johannes van der Bent, Hendrick Berckman, Eduard Dubois, Nicolas Ficke, Barent Gael, Anthony de Haen, Emanuel Murant, [a=Matthias Scheits], Kort Withold, and his brothers. The first retrospective exhibition of Philips Wouwerman's work took place in Kassel, Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister, and in The Hague, The Royal Picture Gallers Mauritshuis, 2009/2010. |
