Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

In late 2008 Helder is replaced by João Pais Filipe ([a=Sektor 304], [a=Unzen Pilot], etc.) and in the following year the group releases a three track self-titled EP, Joey Gomes (Filthy Human) temporaly replaces João Filipe for a 2009 tour and Luis Pacheco ([a=Cabeças de Gado], [a=Speedtrack]) gets added on keys until 2010. In 2011 they release "Casa Viva Sessions", a live recording issued only as a cdr. In 2012 the groups begins the recording of their debut album and later that year João Filipe leaves and the group and is replaced by Miguel Azevedo (Mosh, Plus Ultra, etc.). In September 2014 their first album titled "1692" is released, the record still features João on drums as it was mostly recorded before him leaving, the title of record is a reference to the earthquake that occurred and flooded Port Royal that year. In 2015 the group once again changes drummers with Francisco Beirão ([a=Touro], [a=Retimbrar], etc.) joining the fold. In 2019 the group releases their 2nd album "Hostis Humani Generis"(latin for Enemy of Mankind), a term applied to pirates. Members: . Augusto Lado - vocals (2007-) . Ricardo Cunha - guitar (2007-) . Search | Add | 3 | Boris Solotoreff | Boris Solotareff | Boris Solotareff (October 23, 1889 – July 1966) was a Russian painter. He was active in Munich, Switzerland, and France, but spent the majority of his career in New York where he became a naturalized American citizen in 1949. Solotareff made use of a variety of styles; according to the Benezit Dictionary of Artists, his "work was in the mainstream of Eastern European Expressionism, with influences of Art Deco from the time when he lived in Paris." Solotareff's paintings have been exhibited widely, including the "Cinquantenaire Du Symbolisme" exhibition at the Bibliothèque Nationale (1936), the Vendome Galleries (New York, 1938), and the "Exhibition of oils and water colors" at the Charles Barzansky Galleries from October 1–20, 1940. Born in Bender, in the Bessarabia Governorate of the Russian Empire, Solotareff began his art studies at the Russian art school in Odessa, Ukraine. This went on until he turned 18 in 1907 when the artist moved to Munich, Germany enrolling at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste. After seven years in Munich, Solotareff moved to Lausanne, Switzerland. In the six years he stayed there his style underwent a change from the German Impressionist style that inspired his Munich paintings to one more influenced by Fauvism. In describing two of Solotareff's paintings from that period, "Meadow of Wild Flowers" and "Farm in Lausanne", James Gardner wrote "The paint has been thickly applied in elongated, energetic jabs that sway and pulsate in every direction like schools of fish. But only the surface seems agitated. Farther down there is the deep and reassuring calm that seems best to typify the Russian artist's sanguine disposition". The year 1920 found Solotareff traveling in France and Italy before settling in Paris where, under the influence of [a=Pablo Picasso] and [a=Marie Laurencin], he began to paint in a more neo-classical style. While in Paris, Solotareff was a member of the Salon des Indépendants. In 1937, the artist moved to New York, where he lived and painted for the rest of his life. |

Search | Add | 3 | Plexigo | Lovis Einsmann | Label: Crystallin Music / Unterholz / PsyArmy Located: Wiesbaden, Hessen - Germany Style: Forest / Psytrance / Twilight / Night Psy / Goa Trance / Psygressive / Minimal Dark Progressive Info & Biography: ENGLISH: Plexigo is the name of the psychedelic music project by Lovis Einsmann from Wiesbaden, Germany. Since 2009 Plexigo is leashed by the driving basslines and enlightning melodies of Goa Trance and Psytrance. After discovering the synapse twisting sound frequencies of a DJ-Set mixed by the old Goa stager “Stefan Ludley”, well known in the Rhein-Main area, he was instantly addicted to this kind of music. Stefan helped him to get a connection to the recording company “Crystallin Music” and Plexigo started to produce tracks which are characterised by his very own style. In the beginning he described his music as “Psygressive Trance”, later the focus was set more to “Forest Trance”, “Twilight” and “Night Psy”. Since 2013 Plexigo is the main organizer and visionary mastermind of the Wiesbaden based “UNTERHOLZ” event project, that got quite popular in the Rhein-Main area and all around Germany during the last years. The indoor party series “TREIBHOLZ” invites international artists and sets the focus on the build up of a vibrant and resonating “Forest” scene in his actual hometown Wiesbaden. Right now Plexigo is more into DJing than producing own music. His style is a twisted mix of Twilight, Liquid Night Psy and mystical, driving Forest Trance. In 2017/2018 Plexigo played on the “Transylvaliens Festival” in Romania, two DJ-Sets in Switzerland and on multiple events and locations in the Rhein-Main area, such as the “Tanzhaus West” or “MTW Club” in Frankfurt am Main, the Bellini Club Mainz or the “FlaFla” in Herford. Source: Plexigo @ Facebook |

Wounded members of the resistance movement, that resulted as a revolt against the Nazi occupation of Yugo-Slavia, were flogged together at a camp admidst the woods of Kocevje near the village Planina. It was then and there that plans were made to form a choir in order to afford there victims a new life purpose. Search | Add | 3 | Musicus Bortnianskii | Musicus Bortnianskii is a chamber choir founded in 1981 by Artistic Director and Conductor Myron Maksymiw to perform and promote the works of Ukrainian and East European composers of music for chorus and orchestra. The repertoire of Musicus Bortnianskii ranges from early Renaissance to Classical and 20th century music. Moving with ease among all these periods, Musicus Bortnianskii unveils the untapped wealth of music of Ukraine for the last five hundred years. Works by Dmytro Bortniansky (1751 -1825) and his contemporaries, Maksym Berezowsky (1745 -1777) and Artem Vedel (1767-1808) form the core of the choirs' programme. The works of Western composers like Sarti and Galuppi who worked in Eastern Europe are also part of Musicus Bortnianskii repertoire. Musicus Bortnianskii has been and is actively involved in music search and research, of previously lost or forgotten compositions of Ukraine, and to date has perhaps the most complete collection of early Ukrainian music (Partesni Konzerty, works by Bortniansky, Vedel, Maksym Berezowsky and others). Musicus Bortnianskii has performed in Toronto and its vicinity, and in the USA for the Millennium of Christianity in Ukraine. It has broadcast on CBC National Radio and Television, and most recently on BBC Radio 3. Musicus Bortnianskii has eleven recordings to its credit.
