Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Jan Des Bouvrie | Jan des Bouvrie (born August 3, 1942 in Naarden) is a famous Dutch architect, interior & product designer. His own vision on design was developed at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, where he started his professional career. With his unique and progressive ideas the young Des Bouvrie has made a huge impact on the design world. His vision was further developed by working with several manufacturers, including Linteloo, Dutch Originals and Gelderland. The latter, in 1969, was the first to produce a design of Des Bouvrie's; the kubusbank sofa, which is now recognised as a design classic. The Shell collection has been specifically created for FueraDentro by Jan des Bouvrie, and is the first time that he has designed a collection of outdoor furniture (up until this time, he had designed lighting, wallpaper, window decorations and furniture). In 1993 Des Bouvrie moved his design studio to Bussum Naarden-Vesting. Together with his partner, Monique, he transformed the iconic 'Het Arsenaal' building into a leading interior design institute of unprecedented influence in the field of interior architecture and product development. Des Bouvrie not only creates furniture with attractive looks; his design ethos ensures that they are very comfortable too. Over the years, Jan des Bouvrie's designs have won many awards and distinctions, including the Culture Prize of 1974, the Style Prize in 1990 and the Furniture Prize in 1999. Des Bouvrie's vision is also clearly reflected in the numerous interior design books he has published. Jan des Bouvrie is also active as a distinguished lecturer at various design academies, as well as having design college being named after him (Jan des Bouvrie Academy, based in Deventer). | |

| Search | Add | 3 | AURΔ | Krystian Gacek | AUR∆ is a Polish synthwave and retrowave music project combining nostalgic 1980s influences with modern electronic production. Inspired by neon-lit cityscapes, vintage arcade culture, and cinematic outrun aesthetics, AUR∆ creates music that reflects both retro and futuristic atmospheres. The sound of AUR∆ incorporates elements of analog synthesizers, pulsating basslines, atmospheric pads, and melodic leads, influenced by artists such as The Midnight, FM-84, Timecop1983, and Gunship. The compositions range from dreamy night-drive melodies to high-energy cyberpunk-inspired tracks, often described as soundtracks for late-night adventures and neon skylines. Founded in 2025, AUR∆ debuted with the digital album "Drive (80s Synthwave Escape)", self-released and distributed on Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music. The project produces both instrumental works and collaborations with guest vocalists, contributing to the international synthwave scene. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Uppsala Dragspelsklubb | UPPSALA ACCORDION CLUB from the city of Uppsala, Sweden, is called "Uppdraget". The name is a play on words: "Upp" comes from Uppsala, while "drag" is the first part of "dragspel", the Swedish word for accordion. - The club was founded in 1984. It has about 50 members, of which 20 or so are active amateur musicians, most of them accordionists although other instruments are also represented, such as violin, "nyckelharpa" (keyed fiddle), a few wind and brass instruments, base, guitar and drums. The club has a varied repertory: dance music, both traditional Swedish and modern, arrangements of popular tunes, folk music, light classical tunes and church music. The ambition is to be known not just as an accordion club, but as an accordion orchestra with a broad repertory that can be adapted to performances in shopping centers, hospitals, old peoples' homes and churches, as well as function at village dances, dance evenings arranged by folk dance groups and so forth. The club organizes "accordion meets", and get-togethers with other clubs, and during the last few years music cafés with guest artists and audience sing-along participation have become quite popular. Uppdraget has made several tours abroad: to the Nordic countries, Estonia, St. Petersburg, Austria, China, and twice to the USA (1995 and 2000). | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Vortex Surfer | Noise drone stonerrock psychedelic rock An explosive Dutch noise rock quartet with an affinity for melodic, yet loud, noisy guitar sounds. Vortex Surfer was formed in 2007 around the talents of the brothers Loek Engelen (lead guitar, vocals), Marco Engelen (drums), and friend Bram Stollman (bass). In 2018 they were joined by Michel Epe (guitar, vocals), forming the band’s current line-up. The self-described "loud noise" quartet, who cite bands like Motorpsycho, Sonic Youth, and Elder as their most influential inspirations, started generating regional buzz in 2017 with the release of their infectious first Album "Skypusher", going on to participate in the finals of the prestigious “Nu of Nooit” contest in 2017. Having spent most of 2018 touring and playing shows in both the Netherlands and Germany, the band has been hard at work writing and recording their latest EP, scheduled to be released in mid-2019. The creation of “Versailles” has been a process of self-development and maturation of the sound of the band, who describe the recording session of the EP as putting themselves out there, getting out of their comfort zone and trying to catch a glimpse of the power of their live performances on record. Having refined their razor-sharp sound over the past few years, the new music can be described as full-bodied, almost dream-like noise that can carry you one second, and sweep you off your feet the next. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Inger Grudin-Brandt | Swedish harpsichordist, clavichordist and forte-pianist, born August 27, 1934, Stockholm, Sweden, died May 12, 2019. She belonged to the first batch of students at Stockholm's singing classes (now Adolf Fredrik's music classes) and she took piano lessons for Hilda Waldeland, among others. At the age of 14, the career choice was clear: she would become a pianist. After matriculation, she therefore began studying with Hans Leygraf in Darmstadt, but found after two years that her hands were not good enough for the large piano repertoire. A friend suggested that she study the harpsichord with Fritz Neumeyer in Freiburg instead. Neumeyer was one of the leading experts of his time in what is today called style-informed conducting practice and had a collection of playable older piano instruments in his home. He was also a warm advocate of the low-pitched but expressive clavichord. She stayed for four years. She was now firmly rooted in Germany, had started a family and made a living as a musician, but after a divorce she chose in 1970 to move back to Sweden together with her son Jens. Now begins what will become Inger's life's work: arousing interest in the historic piano instruments. She gets a driver's license and travels around the country in a Toyota bus loaded with harpsichords, clavichords and harpsichords, she gives concerts and organizes courses. Through her contacts with instrument manufacturers in Germany and the USA, she becomes a Swedish retailer of piano instruments and building kits for such. She records several discs, i.a. for the company BIS and is heard regularly on Sveriges Radio. By forming the association Svenska Klaverets Vänner, she realizes one of her artistic ideas: to let professionals and amateurs play for each other and socialize in pleasant ways. | |

Members are from neo crust band [a1418979] and grind core band [a747560]. They broke up like burning out after releasing 6 songs demo in 2003, and the 10” album “Con La Venda Hacia La Pared.” The members are doing great in Blunt and Hongo and they’re deeply involved in the scene. SL’S3 hasn’t receive any recognition for some reason, and no one knows a lot about it, however its sound was a cross over of neo crust and post punk, moreover brought up a new possibility of the scene. This “Con La Venda Hacia La Pared”, which they consolidated its originality in, has been discontinued for a long time after they stopped, is being released as an official renewed CD. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Fourtune-Tellers | The Fourtune-Tellers formed 2006 in Stockholm when Andreas Jonsson and Mathias Westerlund joined forces and rented a rehearsal studio for themselves. Andreas took care of the drums while Mathias played guitar and discussions begun on what to name the band, and also what musicians to recruit for the band. They settled quickly for The Fourtune-Tellers and soon Kari Harström was recruited to play drums, and Andreas picked up the 2nd guitar and took care about the vocals. Old time friend Nicklas Olsson, living in Gothenburg but with plans on moving to Stockholm, was invited to play bass guitar. But awaiting Nicklas move, the band had to find a temporary bass player. Soon they asked Peter Rosén from The Moving Sounds to step in, which he did. After the second rehearsal Peter, very inspired and dedicated, asked the other members, "So, what's the plan, am I in or not?". Since Nicklas move seemed to be more talk than action, it was decided that Peter got the job permanently. Their debut EP Voodoo Girl was recorded at Göran Thungströms studio in Sundsvall, Sweden over an weekend, and released on copaseDisques in 2007. The band did several successful drunken gigs all around Europe, playing their own brand of sloppy and energetic neo garage punk. The follow up EP Don't Tell Me The Words was recorded at Real Studio by Per Ängkvist and released on copaseDisques in 2009. Soon after Kari left the band and drummer boy Handsome Hank Högberg joined forces. After a few years also Peter decided to leave the group, feeling being member of two bands was a bit too much and wanted more time for cycling. He played his last gig at Bassy in Berlin 13 February 2010, and was the same night offered a gig with The Fuzztones. Being determined to spend more time on cycling he turned down the offer much to Rudi's disappointment. Either way, the gig was a success and he went out with a BOOM! In came wonder kid Pontus Söderberg, a young man who brought new blood to the group. The sound became somewhat refined, but still keeping the punky edge. The band continued with successful and drunken sprees around Europe, and soon recorded Storm, a song penned by Jens Lindberg and given to the band exclusively. The band had met label mates The X-Ray Harpoons at Summer Safari in Halle, and soon after decided to release a split single, and Storm ended up on The Fourtune-Tellers side. It was released in 2011. In the spring 2012 the band brought in Johan Ullman on Farfisa organ. New recordings took place and the band made a fantastic gig at the PsychWard Club, Oslo, May 5th, which was to be the only live gig Johan played with the band. A month later the band travelled to Moscow for a gig, but Johan was left at home due to troubles getting the visa. It was a chaotic gig, although it went down well the band was sort of exhausted. In august 2012, due to different circumstances, Pontus felt it was time to move on to other projects, and the band went on hiatus. A gig was scheduled at Landet, Stockholm, March 16th 2013. But the gig was cancelled. | Search | Add | 3 | N. Patrick Williams | Conneaut, Ohio 1967-68 Hailing from the community of Conneaut, at the very northeast corner of Ohio on Lake Erie, N. Patrick Williams didn't really have the people and resources to create a teen band scene, so he became a full on DIY mastermind who wrote, sang, produced, and released some excellent and unique garage rock 45s in 1968. On his first 45, recorded early in 1968, he hooked with a short lived band from Conneaut called the Inner Prism and recorded "Bad Seed", an intense tale of debauchery brought on by a cheating girlfriend, with the classic shout out "All right man, here's my life!". Williams put together a second recording session a few months later, using a couple local musicians, and cut the anti drug "Bearded Peddler", the anti war "Sirens of War", and the moody downer "Tears I Lost For You", all just as intense, and slightly unhinged, as the 1st 45. He recorded one more 45 at the end of 1968, under the name of "The Sound Of N. Patrick Williams" which was much more low key. Those were the last released recordings of Williams. Discography: (45) Bad Seed / Someday Tomorrow - Confederate no #, April 1968 (45) Bearded Peddler / Little Girl - Confederate #1, July 1968 (45) Sirens Of War / Tears I Lost For You - Confederate #2, July 1968 (45) Down Where Devils Play / Don't Be Afraid To Cry - Confederate #5, late 1968 | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Eugene Tam | Executive producer. Owner and operator of Toronto institution Play De Record and it's in house recording studio, [l1063581]. Tam opened Play De Record in 1990 in the Yonge and Dundas area – the store was considered an essential stop for anyone closely following dance music and hip hop. Play De Record became a hub for crate diggers of all stripes who hung out for hours on drop days, hunting through the store’s one-of-a-kind selection. Every Thursday Tam would drive down to Buffalo at six o’clock in the morning to pick up all of the latest records from the US and then would rush back to Toronto to get new records to the store early (in order to ensure that all the DJs would come to his store first). In addition to selling international music and supporting local and Canadian Hip Hop talent, in 1993 Play De Record started a label - [l73239] - to produce and distribute their music. Today Play De Record continues it's mission of delivering music, fresh and vintage, to music fans of all stripes from it's new location on Spadina Avenue near College Street. On October 22, 2022, a documentary by Canterbury Crescent Filmworks on Eugene Tam and Play De Record's influence on the Canadian Hip Hop and DJ scene had it's theatrical premier, Drop The Needle. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | The University of Virginia Glee Club | The Virginia Glee Club is a critically acclaimed men’s chorus based at the University of Virginia. It performs both traditional and contemporary vocal works, typically in TTBB arrangements. Founded in 1871, the Glee Club is the University’s oldest musical organization and one of the oldest all-male collegiate vocal ensembles in the United States. It is currently conducted by Frank Albinder. The Virginia Glee Club was founded in 1871 as the Cabell House Men. In the 1893–1894 session of the University, the Glee Club was combined with other extant student musical groups to form the Glee, Banjo, and Mandolin Club, a more permanent organization, with professor of mathematics (and University Chapel organist) Harrison Randolph as the director. During this period, the group toured major Southern cities annually, playing to standing room only crowds in Richmond and traveling as far afield as Atlanta, St. Louis. and Memphis, according to contemporary accounts, donating the profits to the Athletic Association of the University of Virginia. The group continued to perform and tour the South through the early 1900s; they are recorded as visiting Atlanta on tour under the direction of a student, John Shishmanian, in October 1905, and a contemporary letter attests to their existence in that fall 1905. After the fall of 1905, the group disbanded and reformed periodically; University historian Philip Alexander Bruce indicates it disbanded in 1905, then reformed in 1910–1911 and began to perform again. The group went on hiatus for a year in the fall of 1912, citing “disadvantageous circumstances” with the hope of reforming later. It apparently did reform in late 1913 or early 1914, based on a January 1914 photo of the group. Finally, in January 1915, it was reorganized under the leadership of Professor Alfred Lawrence (A.L.) Hall-Quest (professor of educational psychology); Hall-Quest is said to have modeled the group after the glee club of his alma mater, Princeton University. Since 1915, the Virginia Glee Club has been in continuous existence as a men’s chorus at the University. From the 1920s into the 1980s, the Glee Club enjoyed an association with the McIntire Department of Music through a series of directors who were members of the music faculty, including Arthur Fickenscher, Harry Rogers Pratt, Stephen Tuttle, Donald Macinnis, and Donald Loach. The group was viewed as an educational resource that enhanced other offerings; a course catalog from the 1920s offered students in the Composition class the opportunity to have their works performed by the Glee Club. During the 1940s, the Glee Club worked with composer in residence Randall Thompson when director Stephen Tuttle commissioned Thompson to write The Testament of Freedom, a setting of Thomas Jefferson’s words about liberty, for the Virginia Glee Club. In the later years of Tuttle’s tenure, the Glee Club recorded an album with RCA of traditional university songs, accompanied by the University of Virginia Band. In 1953, members of the Glee Club formed the Virginia Gentlemen, the oldest a cappella group at UVA, which originated as a performing subset of the Glee Club and became an independent organization in the 1980s. The 1960s and 1970s found the group developing a specialty in Renaissance music under the direction of University professor Donald Loach, who developed a countertenor section within the group to meet the demands of the polyphonic style. At this time the group performed on national and international stages, including a performance at the State Department for the Washington Diplomatic Corps Banquet in 1968, the only college glee club to be so honored at the time. In 1971, the Z Society gave the Glee Club its Organization Award in recognition of its concerts, the recording of its album A Shadow’s on the Sundial, and its pending first European tour. The group toured Europe in 1972, funding the trip with individual and community contributions, as well as profits from their 1972 recording, A Shadow’s on the Sundial. In 1989, the Virginia Glee Club became a Contracted Independent Organization, with substantial assistance from Gilbert J. Sullivan and the UVA Alumni Association, when the Music Department moved unilaterally to combine it with the Virginia Women’s Chorus into a mixed choir, which would have eliminated the Glee Club’s independent identity. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Housecrack Sandro | Alessandro Atria | Sandro, born 1970, may state being influenced by music from early on in his childhood. Through his elder brother, who was a DJ late in the 1970's, he developed a taste for DISCO and got to love the spirit and energy of this music as well as the vinyl record as creative medium. Soon he dedicated his spare time to record players and started to acquire DJ skills on a playful level. To continue on his way however Sandro had to wait until being 14 because only then he could enlist to the municipal youth-center's DJ team. Some years later he entered the Stuttgart (Germany) nightlife via the bar "Flexibel" where he performed Housemusic and got attention. Shortly after the break through happened with residencies at clubs "Unbekanntes Tier", "M1" and "Großer Bär", three institutions that had a definitive influence on the development of the Stuttgart club scene. Housecrack Sandro is amongst the first and most important DJs to popularize Housemusic in Stuttgart. He is able to deliver a set that always is passionate and inspirational and his popularity grew with countless guest performances at virtually every known and lesser-known club of the region. Likewise with organizing House events as well as the legendary "Taste Afterhour" together with former partners Denis the Menace and Alan Sommerville he enthused the public what resulted in his alias "housecrack" being awarded to him by the local club media. In 1996 he started to work at a local record store. The same year saw the launch of his own label "Midnight Groove Recordings" where he released to date 18 records that were made together with national and international producers. Since June 2005 he runs his own onlinestore specialized in Housemusic under the domain www.record-pilot.de & www.discogs.com/seller/Recordpilot where he delivers the stuff to Dee Jays and music lovers worldwide. Sandro is resident in the famous "Climax Institutes" since 1998. Stages of his work are: 1984 - 1988 Jugendhaus Ostend, Stuttgart 1992 - 1994 Flexibel, Stuttgart. 1994 - 1998 Großer Bär (Taste Afterhour), Stuttgart. 1995 - 1998 M1 The Club, Stuttgart. 1995 - 1996 Unbekanntes Tier, Stuttgart. 1998 - 2018 Climax Institutes, Stuttgart. |
