Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

With a three and half octave vocal range, he creates choral-like harmonies to tell tales of magick, the Earth, death, and, within them, often explores themes of sexuality and gender. Using beat boxing and a loop pedal, Luis pioneers the term "Beat Box Baroque" which marries classical piano melodies and vocal techniques with modern-day hip-hop and pop percussion styles. His music draws from many genres including classical, pop, baroque, hip-hop, & folk. He plays piano, beat boxes, and sings in the legendary cell-based group Rasputina.

Search | Add | 4 | Western Continentals | The Western Continentals is the Barbershop Harmony Society's 1968 International Quartet Champion. First organized in 1964 in Phoenix, Arizona with Curt Kimball on tenor, Ted Bradshaw on lead, Paul Graham on baritone, and Terry Diedrich on bass. That fall, they won the 1964 Far Western District Championship. They qualified for international the next spring and finished 8th in Boston, MA. In 1966, Curt Kimball was drafted and was replaced by Al Mau as tenor. The quartet qualified for the 1966 international contest to be held in Chicago, Illinois. They sadly dropped down to 21st. Following that contest, Terry Diedrich was forced to leave the quartet due to personal reasons and was replaced by Phil Foote as bass. In 1967, the quartet went to Los Angeles and jumped from 21st all the way to 2nd place silver medalists. In 1968 in Cincinnati, Ohio, they won it all. They won that contest singing songs such as “Are You From Dixie” and “Heart Of A Clown”. The quartet traveled all across the county following their championship singing for chapters and shows everywhere. In 1971, Al Mau moved to California and was replaced by Frank Friedemann as tenor. The quartet retired following the 1973 international convention in Portland, Oregon. The quartet came out of retirement several times throughout the decade before calling it quits for good in 1979. During their time together, they recorded three albums: “Gonna Build A Mountain”, “Barbershop With A Continental Flavor”, and “The Continental Sound”. They all included their popular show tunes and a few of their contest songs. Their third album included a few piano and guitar tracks provided by Frank Friedemann. Al Mau went on to earn two silver medals with the Pacificaires in 1973 and 74. Ted Bradshaw was an international finalist in the 1970’s with the Command Performance. The championship version of the Western Continentals, Mau-Bradshaw-Graham-Foote, reunited in 1988 for the society’s 50th anniversary in San Antonio, Texas and the original district championship version, Kimball-Bradshaw-Graham-Diedrich, reunited in 2014 to celebrate their 50th anniversary as Far Western District Champions. The Western Continentals’ final curtain call was in July of 2018 in Orlando, FL when surviving members, Al Mau, Ted Bradshaw, and Paul Graham were honored for the 50th anniversary of their international championship. Today only Al Mau and Frank Friedemann survive. Phil Foote died in 2017, Paul Graham in 2018, Ted Bradshaw in 2019, and both Curt Kimball and Terry Diedrich in 2022.

Also credited as Ex-Crocodiles. Although they were of the first groups to start the New Wave in Mallorca together with Forats Negres, [a=Zincpirithione] or Mac, no edit would achieve their first album until 1984. Shortly after recording the Maxi would be left without drummer and was when they met Manolo Iglesias, also known as [a=Manuel de Palma], former [a=Tequila (9)] then banished by Mallorca, who agreed to fill the vacancy. But it was not too long and barely played live together, shortly after would separate group. Anyway, the separation was not final since Ivan Tobias and Juan Manuel Riera coincide in Madrid and would return to play a season together. From this period would be born in 1988 his second Mini-LP. Search | Add | 4 | Nowhere Near The Garden | Strange name for a band? The name of the band originally comes from a marriage council guidance course, those who are unmarried are nowhere near the garden; the garden being the biblical garden of eden/perfection. Whatever you say pastor! Other theories include (but are not limited to) references to beer gardens, horticultural disasters, plant allergies and the mould growing on Jason's bed sheets (you wouldn't want to go anywhere near that garden). Garden party - The boys once ran up a £1175 bar tab in 4 days. The guitarist can't tell Kurt Cobain from James Hetfield - James doesn't listen to music on purpose, Jason and Rog once had to tell him who Kurt Cobain was. Metallicas sound man comes to the rescue Big Mick Hughes once got a call to help the band in a small smokey pub where he fixed a tiny vocal PA that had packed in. He has done sound for NNTG twice. The behind the scene stories this guy tells are priceless! Young musician of year - when not playing in the garden Jason is a classical percussionist; he has played with the CBSO and was a semi finalist in the young musician of the year competition. He graduated from music college on the Friday of Glastonbury. Rog is a classically trained composer (the two met at Birmingham Conservatoire) and has written a number of chamber, choral and orchestral pieces. Stolen gear - June 2003 the band had all of their gear stolen, £9000 in total. Other bands, friends and fans rallied round and supported by lending instruments and even donating cash. Regional TV and radio support as well. Gear is still missing. Senheisser competition winners - rog entered a competition advertised in Q. The band came 1st out of 1300 entries from UK and abroad. Band won 1st prize: £2500 cash, £2500 gear (which came in handy after the theft) and a spot on Glastonbury 04.

Robert has archived most of the independent audio and video recordings of The St. Louis Ragtimers. From his rural home studio, Bob has produced CDs, DVDs and even BluRay media. He was very early into internet video, with uploads beginning with postage stamp sized telephone modem uploads. Credits would include band photography in St. Louis during the 1970's for many local and regional musicians. Some of Bob's fine art music posters from the 1970's are rare collectibles. Bob is a hobbyist musician who hasn't dared to create an album since everyone he knows is better at music. Bob does have a writing credit on "Bernie Madoff With The Dough" a song parody of "Glendale Train." He does plan to publish an album before he dies, entitled, "Why Bother?" His friends call him, "VideoBob" which inspired the name of his YouTube Channel, "VideoBgood."

Search | Add | 4 | Urinatorium | Hubert Wińczyk | URINATORIUM aims to seek, examine and process sounds that may be considered metabolic wastes of life and human activity. Occasionally, sonoric phenomena from human surroundings are included in the system, which is thought to be an inevitable consequence of the first premise. The aim of the experiments is mainly cognitive, however the resulting sound productions may be perceived in aesthetic categories – as music. This endeavour was undertaken in 2005 by Hubert Wińczyk (H. Urinator) and/or Albert Schablack. Due to Albert’s health condition, only H. Urinator takes part in live performances. He is a member of an electro-acoustic band, kakofoNIKT, and also cooperates with such musicians as Jeff Gburek, Piotr Tkacz (in a project Revue svazu českých architektů), Patryk Lichota, Roman Brombosz and Mojomat. In his performances, H. Urinator uses tools, metal and plastic scraps, sine-wave tone generator, field recordings, dictaphones, his own (uh)human voice, contact microphones, radios, toy instruments for children and guitar pedal effects. During the recording stage, he works with MD recorder, dictaphones, loop station, reel-to-reel tape recorder, archive radio recordings and computer with various software. "Urina" is a proper female name, derived from the Hebrew, Urit, meaning "brightness". |
