Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Debbie Whitten | Debbie Whitten | Debbie Whitten was born in the same maternity home as Japan's David Sylvian in David Bowie's Beckenham stamping ground, and grew up in a household heaving with the sounds of Swing, Frank Sinatra and 1950s rock'n'roll. Debbie cut her teeth as a singer during the 1990s with London combos The Tax Band, Blazing Saddles and Cryin' Shame, performing at many of the capital's top venues, including the Hilton, Marriott and Grosvenor Hotels, the Cafe Royal, the Mermaid Theatre, the City Golf Club and Old Billingsgate premier event space. While she recorded little during this period, in 1995 she did cut three tracks with Derek Tennent's Tax Band at Terminal Studios, sometime haunt of the embryonic Gallagher brothers. In 1999 Debbie was invited to record some demos with producer Steve Hill at his Hampstead studios, but these did not see the light of day immediately. In 2007 South London label Radi Records released her sparkling debut album "Autumn Leaves", once again helmed by Steve Hill and recorded at Oxfordshire's Woodworm Studios, sometime home of Fairport Convention. The set comprised a raft of classic new material along with remastered versions of the three Terminal Studios cuts. A seven-track EP, also entitled "Autumn Leaves", was issued at the same time, followed closely by "Hampstead '99", which gathered the previously unreleased demos from the Hampstead Studios sessions. In 2018 Radi released the EP "6-Track Demo: London 95/98-99" which paired the three Tax Band tracks with three of the Hampstead recordings. The pairing of these two albums and EPs are the perfect showcase for Debbie's vocal mastery of both powerful r&b and sensitive, heart-wrenching ballads. |

Music with a subhuman vibe needed to happen soon. Then Jilly stepped into the picture, took off her mascara, and chained herself to a big damn amp. With a purposeful grimace, heavy beats were thrown down between the guitars, vocals, and flute. In 2014 our EP Spaced Rock was recorded, with Joe Dean on Bass and John Collision on drums, at Justin Burrill’s studio in Echo Park, CA. | Search | Add | 4 | Tàlveg | [a=Ferran Fages] - electric guitar [a=Marcellí Bayer] - baritone and alto saxophone [a=Oriol Roca] - drums Tàlveg. Behind this enigmatic name, we find three of the most experienced musicians of the Barcelona scene who, with only three years of work together, have managed to materialise a very personal way of facing improvisation and even transcending it. A very efficient mixture of individuality and common understanding. The method is scrupulous, the forms precise, and the sound generous. They know how to build sonic architectures that go beyond genres and get rid of the need for classification. Sound in its most direct, concise and at the same time, essential sense. But, if we talk about a method, it is precisely because procedure is the cornerstone of this whole building; with implicit boundaries that are never guessed, but which support each gesture and each intervention. The sound circulates as a single flow made of intriguing and captivating textures. The compositions or, perhaps it is better to say, guided improvisations are generated with a careful concentration and a limpid vision of a global sound, which allows room for the interventions and leaves more space for the listener’s interpretation. To allow them to participate fully in the experience. And "space" is the word that curiously comes to mind when listening to this music; and then the word "arid". Although sometimes the space is saturated, we sense that it is with full consciousness; in the same way that this imaginative aridity, sometimes reduced to a few harmonics, is expanded with grunts and bursts that end up flooding the space with sound. The work on listening is absolutely fundamental in this trio. To better distribute energy, each contribution is strategically dispensed; close to the form of an oratorio, but without the solemnity or religiousness that characterises it, each piece alternates possible combinations, not only to better highlight and expand the timbres and atmospheres, but also to not exhaust the global form. This alternation opens up the listening, eliminates expectation and ensures that our attention never lowers its guard. When the storm arrives, it is both beneficial and brutal at the same time; and soon, it becomes a catharsis. Tàlveg possesses the energy of the power trio and, in addition, the intelligence of proportion; each instrument has the necessary space to be able to affirm itself without having to make a place among the others; as if they all had their doors open to manifest themselves, but only at very specific moments. And every time they appear alone, their presence seems unconditional and we never miss the others. Here, structural rigour exceeds the most visceral spirit, without any ostentation; but, even so, there is an organic strength in this structure. An emotionally intense journey on course to discovery, which undoubtedly activates the imagination. Alfredo Costa Monteiro, December 2021 | |

| Search | Add | 4 | LMG Mafia | LMG Mafia was a gangsta rap group from the Southside of Memphis, TN made up of Big Dog, Dollar Boy, G-Train aka Train, Hi Hitler, Hit Man, Kamole, Mr. D, Raw B, Sir Lawrence & Yo Dog. LMG stands for Love Murdering Gangsters and it also reffered to the now torn-down LeMoyne Gardens (LMG) housing projects, where the members grew up. According to the authorities, LMG Mafia was the rap branch of a street gang with the same name, who was led by George "Train" Hughlett Jr. An episode of the TV Series Gangland talks about LMG criminal activities. LMG Mafia released 2 albums on Train Records which are both very good, entitled "Southside Souljahs" (1998) & "It's Still Murdah" (2002). It's some classic hard gangsta rap with that dark Memphis style... Their sophomore release is dedicated to Train, who was shot dead in 1999 | |

| Search | Add | 4 | The Three Dons | American instrumental backing group mostly out of Chicago, Illinois in the 1940's-50's. The Three Dons provided piano, bass and guitar accompaniment for other groups and singers including [a=Ginny Greer]. [a=Don Roseland] (center in picture) was the piano/accordion player. Don James Eagle (1917-1996), was their guitar player. The Dons had various fronting singers at times and were known as "The Three Dons and Bea (Berret)" (1942), the unnamed "The Three Dons And A Chick" (1946), "The Three Dons and Ginny (Greer)" (1953) and "The Three Dons and Deena" (1955) (see [a=Deena (8)]). The name of the third Don is still open to debate--Guitarist [a=Don Huston] (real name [a=Don Genson]) wrote songs for the group under pseudonyms. In 1943 the group split in two because [a=Danny Davis (4)] went into the army--with Bea Berret joining another group. [a=Everett Hull] played bass for the group in the 1940's and Sidney Jobe played for them as well. Don Roseland co-wrote the song "You've Got My Heart Talking Double Talk" (1946), which the Dons provided instrumentation on for [a=The Mello-Larks], co-written by one of The Mello-Larks [a=Tommy Hamm]. In 1952, The Three Dons had a weekly radio show on KECA out of Los Angeles, California. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Oscar Burnside | Oskar Szafraniec | Oskar Szafraniec a.k.a. Oscar Burnside (born in Poland in 94') - is a musician, producer and live performer. Since the age of 10 experimenting with music and sound. Oskar's first remix was released on Italian label NuZone Tools when he was only 13. He released his own track on the same label called Dark Side in 2008 and many more tracks with Der Hut (Germany), Shufflemood (Argentina), Frequenza Records (Italy) and other labels around the globe. Since then he's been DJing in clubs and on the festivals, studying music genres, history and spending most of his time working in the studio. In 2010 he released his first and immediately controversial LP album - 'The Suicide' on Dirty Stuff Rec. and another ambient self-released 'Water under dream'. In 2011 he was chosen by the Kluboterapia Awards as one of the top 5 Polish Artists. When he was 17, he dropped out of school to move to Berlin. It was a turning point for Oskar, finding new inspiration, meeting new people, partying every weekend and working on music and touring with UK producer, A Guy Called Gerald. Since then he started to focus on performing his own music with 2 laptops and singing live. He visited many countries around the world, in 2013 he's been touring in Japan with A Guy Called Gerald and had several gigs in Russia and Europe. Oskar finally decided to cast off the Burnside moniker and work as Oskar Szafraniec. Since 2014 he brings more instruments on the stage as he's performing with Roland Aira machines, midi controllers, microphones and laptop. He is very inspired by the people he meets, open minded, curious about different cultural perspectives and that's how he developed his personal, unique sound. |
