Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Fur For Fairies | Susanne Kelly is a Seattle painter and printmaker. Now she is a pop music singer too, plying this new endeavor under the name Fur For Fairies. This is her first starring record. In 2014, she made By Reckless Moonlight with husband Jeff Kelly of the Green Pajamas. While a full collaborator in its creation, the press saw her as the junior player, an influencer, contributing tasty bits here and there and one lead vocal, the sensual “I’d Rather Be Filming in Vanda’s Room.” Green Monkey Records said Viva! More! We now have more. The album is produced by Mr. Kelly and while some of his uniquely best work, make no mistake: this is Susanne’s album. | Search | Add | 4 | 22Hertz | From the bustling metropolis of Toronto, where the heartbeat of music echoes through the streets, emerges a band that’s not just making waves but rewriting the very rules of industrial rock. Led by the visionary Ralf Muller, 22HERTZ has become a beacon of innovation and creativity, pushing boundaries and redefining what it means to be a rock musician in the modern age. Ralf Muller’s story is one of evolution and exploration. Having cut his teeth in the heavy metal realm with ‘Point Blank,’ Muller’s transition to industrial rock marked a pivotal moment in his artistic journey. In 2013, he took the plunge and founded 22HERTZ, unleashing their debut album, Detonate, upon the world. The reception was electrifying, with fans and critics alike lauding their unique blend of robust rhythms and infectious melodies. But for Muller and his bandmates, Detonate was just the beginning. Their latest offering, Adrenochrome, represents a quantum leap forward in their sonic evolution. Here, Muller’s mastery shines through as he deftly weaves together diverse musical influences, creating a tapestry of sound that is both mesmerizing and boundary-pushing. It’s more than just an album — it’s a statement of intent, a declaration that 22HERTZ is not content to rest on their laurels but is committed to pushing the envelope and exploring new sonic territories. What sets Adrenochrome apart is not just its musicality but its conceptual depth. Each track is a journey unto itself, inviting listeners to explore uncharted emotional landscapes and challenge preconceived notions of what rock music can be. It’s a testament to Muller’s vision for 22HERTZ — a vision that is unbound by convention and fueled by a relentless drive to innovate and inspire. Central to 22HERTZ’s meteoric rise has been its embrace of the digital age. Through the power of the internet, they’ve been able to connect with fans across the globe, transcending geographical boundaries and spreading their message of musical revolution far and wide. This is a testament to the universal appeal of their sound and the transformative power of their music—a power that shows no signs of waning. But 22HERTZ is more than just a band; they’re a movement, a force for change in an industry often resistant to innovation. Their electrifying live performances are legendary, leaving audiences spellbound and hungry for more. It’s a testament to their dedication to their craft and their unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in rock music. As they continue their journey, 22HERTZ remains committed to their core values of innovation, creativity, and authenticity. They invite listeners to join them on this journey, to become part of a movement reshaping the landscape of industrial rock and inspiring a new generation of musicians to dream big and defy expectations. So, whether you’re a seasoned rock aficionado or a curious newcomer, I urge you to experience the magic of 22HERTZ for yourself. Dive into the sonic world they’ve created and let yourself be swept away by the power of their music. In the hands of Ralf Muller and his bandmates, rock music isn’t just a genre—it’s a revolution waiting to happen. | |

He released his own track on the same label called Dark Side in 2008 and many more tracks with Der Hut (Germany), Shufflemood (Argentina), Frequenza Records (Italy) and other labels around the globe. Since then he's been DJing in clubs and on the festivals, studying music genres, history and spending most of his time working in the studio. In 2010 he released his first and immediately controversial LP album - 'The Suicide' on Dirty Stuff Rec. and another ambient self-released 'Water under dream'. In 2011 he was chosen by the Kluboterapia Awards as one of the top 5 Polish Artists. When he was 17, he dropped out of school to move to Berlin. It was a turning point for Oskar, finding new inspiration, meeting new people, partying every weekend and working on music and touring with UK producer, A Guy Called Gerald. Since then he started to focus on performing his own music with 2 laptops and singing live. He visited many countries around the world, in 2013 he's been touring in Japan with A Guy Called Gerald and had several gigs in Russia and Europe. Oskar finally decided to cast off the Burnside moniker and work as Oskar Szafraniec. Since 2014 he brings more instruments on the stage as he's performing with Roland Aira machines, midi controllers, microphones and laptop. He is very inspired by the people he meets, open minded, curious about different cultural perspectives and that's how he developed his personal, unique sound. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Matt Panayides | Matt Panayides is a modern guitarist and composer whose compelling melodies, compositions and improvisations have led to performances and collaborations with musicians all over the world. Employing modern harmonies, free and structured improvisations, mixed-meter rhythms and straight-ahead swing, Panayides has created his own unique musical voice on the guitar. Based in New York City, Matt leads a variety of different musical groups and can be found performing throughout NYC as a soloist, leading his own trio or quartet, or rounding out the rhythm section of a big band. His current musical project was formed in the Spring of 2018 and is called “Field Theory”. This band has been performing throughout NYC in venues such as the 55 Bar, Cornelia Street Cafe, Nublu and ShapeShifter Lab. Originally with Matt Vashlishan on wind synth, Bob Sabin on bass and Mark Ferber on drums Panayides also performs his compositions in trio and solo settings. Panayides has been taking his music abroad, collaborating with local musicians in South Korea and China who bring a unique perspective to his compositions. With drummer Jong Dae Oh in Seoul, Matt has played countless gigs in venues with the top musicians on the scene. In Shanghai Matt teams up with saxophonist Alec Haavik. With some US dates scheduled for the end of 2019, Panayides will record his third album, set to be released in 2020. His previous group featured a long-standing partnership with Rich Perry on tenor sax which led to the creation of two albums “Conduits” (2015) with Rich Perry, Mark Ferber and Thomson Kneeland, and “Tapestries of Song” (2011) with Rich Perry, Steve LaSpina and Dan Weiss. Both albums were released on the label Pacific Coast Jazz to much acclaim and feature Panayides’ compositions. Matt holds a BM from Manhattan School of Music and an MM from William Paterson University. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | SeezNation | Sizwe Jabulani Miya | SeezNation | Sizwe Jabulani Miya | born 1996, April 02 started out as a student who did public speaking, poetry, sketching, dance, and debate at school (around Alexandra Township), he lived with his Grandmother. His passion for poetry and debating, with the assistance of his uncles who listened to Rap music ignited his love for the art-form. That’s when SeezNation came to be! He used to watch other battle rappers doing ciphers at school, and that assisted him in perfecting his freestyle. A “battle call out” with a school mate who was considered the “illest MC” (Prodigy) at the time made SeezNation take writing seriously. The would later form a group known as “FBI” performing in school shows and hosting their own ciphers. They shared the same passion and started writing songs using ”Beats” from Rappers like Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes, Bishop Lamont amongst others. SeezNation started creating his own beats and got better as time went on. He would also book studio time to record his music. He relocated to Soweto in 2014 (White City Jabavu) to stay with his great grandmother, which affected the group (FBI) due to distance, during this time SeezNation would meet and collaborate with other artists/producers and later decided to release his music under his own record label Indygo Entertainment. His debut EP: My Moment features producer “39Thirty” and rapper “O2“. The EP was released on 1st September 2019, with more to follow. |

| Search | Add | 4 | S.T.R.E.F.F | STREFF | STREFF (Nikita & Sveta) is an underground dubstep/hardcore/dubcore project conceived in the ex-USSR authoritarian state of Belarus as a form of music protest against corrupt politicians and practices. Originally STREFF was formed in 1997 in Minsk (Belaurs) by Nikita Chudjakov and Dmitri Protasevich. They've started with the old-school hardcore and jungle, after few years moved to industrial-noise and then discovered for themselves the DHR sound. In the 1999 another member Svetlana Shljachova joined STREFF. "We've always liked an experimental music that's why we always tried to express our passion for fat, rough beats, noisy textures and whicked samples. We like to fuck up the sound in a weirdest manner we can. The other aspect is that music can not only be fun but also a powerful weapon in the right hands. We hate racism and all kinds of discrimintation and dictatorship existing in a different proportions and created by different people all over the world. So STREFF is our weapon to fight with the all these things". With releases on underground Fact Records (Israel) and squat-based Glocal (France), concerts in Belarus and Russia and after 10 years of hibernation STREFF is back at it again. "STREFF is reborn to bring the attention of all like-minded people to the problem of Darfur. It's happening right now but it seems that nobody wants to hear about it. So, we'll scream!!! This new record is meant to be a message, an activists project and a way to collect some money to the organizations helping in Darfur. It's not about profit, we want to help bring peace and do something constrictive with our music, instead of just entertaining party people." The STREFF new short album with remixes 'DARFUR" 'Dafur' is released under Creative Common license for FREE. Download STREFF mp3 album for free and If you like it - DONATE whatever amount you can TO NGOs HELPING IN DARFUR! |

| Search | Add | 4 | Big Yellow Taxi.dk | Big Yellow Taxi started out in 2001 as a café duo based on the respect and love for Joni Mitchell's music. Their demos were heard on the internet, and they were invited to play in the U.S. at a so-called Joni Fest fan gathering. Their first tribute CD, " A Tribute to Joni Mitchell", was recorded with the duo still being unaware of Joni’s unreleased song material. The latter was, however, presented to them, when they performed at the Joni Fest, which was held in Big Indian, near the town Woodstock, NY, ( famous for the festival to inspire Joni's Woodstock,) In 2002. After the show, a collector of her music approached them with scrap tapes of the young Joni, thus inspiring the duo to record two more tribute albums, " Unknown and Famous Songs of Joni Mitchell" and "Treasures of Joni Mitchell", to the Joni Mitchell fan community's grand appraisal. On the present album, “The Young Joni Mitchell DisCovered”, the duo once again shows respect for the originality of Joni Mitchell's music by demonstrating their loyalty to Joni’s guitar tuning and vocal style, something clearly separating them from the pack. It's a remixed and re-mastered compilation of the duo’s two last tribute albums featuring only material, which Joni never released herself. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | The Swamp Salad | Dave Donovan began his career in NZ playing alongside Mike Perjanik in several popular local acts before moving to Sydney in the late 60's. As an in demand session guitarist during the 70's he played with the cream of Australia's entertainment world including John Farnham, Don Lane and Marty Rhone. He appeared on more than 200 albums and played on over 8000 commercial jingles. In 1971 he stepped out on his own cutting the album On The Country Line as Swamp Salad, putting together prolific sessionmen plus vocalist Christine Barnett. This may well have been intended as a country/rock cash-in, however, the final result was nothing of the kind. Covers of ‘Witchita Lineman’ and ‘Ode To Billy Joe’ fit the ‘country’ tag well enough, but much of the rest is bluesy underground rock jamming covered in fuzz guitar and owing a heavy debt to Jimi Hendrix. The album is known with two different covers: one with a black-and-white band photograph and the other with a much more attractive full-colour psychedelic painting. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Mellotron Nights | Pablo Canalís | Mellotron Nights is a symphonic project by Pablo Canalís, where the Mellotron 4000D Mini takes center stage as the solo instrument. This iconic keyboard, known for its rich timbral palette, brings to life a work inspired by mythology and the occult, evoking cinematic and progressive soundscapes. The music of Mellotron Nights draws from the essence of classic horror and science fiction film scores, influenced by composers such as Bernard Herrmann, Jerry Goldsmith, Danny Elfman, Maurice Jarre, and Krzysztof Komeda. At the same time, it carries the legacy of progressive rock, reminiscent of Goblin, King Crimson, and Gentle Giant, while also incorporating elements reminiscent of video game music. This album is an atmospheric exploration that transports the listener into a hypnotic sonic universe, filled with evocative textures and enigmatic soundscapes. Mellotron Nights will consist of eight tracks, which will be gradually released in digital format throughout 2025 and 2026. The project will culminate in the physical release of a concept album that brings together all the previously released digital singles. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Leagus | Leagus is a contemporary and experimental musical duo from Sápmi, Norway, whose music alternates between formal composed parts, open structures, and free improvisation, and ranges from subdued, minimalistic, psalm-like pieces, to more rock-oriented improvised parts. Consisting of pianist Herborg Rundberg and guitarist Kristian Svalestad Olstad, Leagus was originally formed in 2013 by Herborg, as part of her Masters degree in Rhythmic Music at the Tromsø Conservatory, where Kristian had also received his Masters degree in the same subject two years earlier. Over the years the duo have worked extensively on finding new, and different interactions between the piano and the guitar, which has lead to the development of a new and progressive kind of musical togetherness. It is a sound that is highly dynamic with musical contrasts playing a big part in their concept. In 2021, Leagus were commissioned by the North Norwegian Jazz Ensemble to write a piece for a ten-member orchestra. The result was “Flora Eallin” which was composed and arranged by Herborg and Kristian. This led to a tour with the North Norwegian Jazz Ensemble and long time collaborator and visual designer Torbjørn Thrane Sandnes. | |
