Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Since she was 10 years old, winning cartons of RC Cola singing with brother Cloys Webb at the Paramount Theater in Amarillo, Texas, music had been a vital part of Floy's life. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1948 and attended Amarillo College. At Amarillo High School, where she was voted Senior Favorite in 1948, she performed with a special quintet, Four Hits and a Miss, in addition to the choir. A year later, while being named Miss Amarillo College, she started singing as a soloist with several area big bands. Shortly after marrying Ray, she reached the final plateau of auditions on the famous Arthur Godfrey Talent Scouts television show. As her family grew, she turned her talents to Amarillo's Sweet Adelines, where she was a charter member, and sang women's bass in a number of quartets. She also utilized her beautiful, God-given voice with the choir at Paramount Baptist Church, where she was a charter member. Until she was physically unable to perform with the choir, she often was called on to do solos in church services. In addition, she was involved in many evangelical crusades in the U.S. and around the world, singing for the Lord.

Singer, composer, musical instrument performer, art teacher, journalist, promoter of culture. At school he was the center of attraction, he sang all day. Juanita Gómez (Opera singer from Trujillo) was his first teacher; Later it was the teacher Ibaeza (Chilean), with him he would accentuate his knowledge of vocal imposition. In elementary school, a teacher told him that he had no conditions for singing "which served as a stimulus and challenge to become the best of singers". And the successes began to arrive with protest music in 1973, at the Inkari Festival, the organizers made Juan Diez Morales win with a song by the composer [a2614464], but the audience protested, took him on stage and made him the winner with the songs "Pobre Juan" and "Revolución" which earned him international recognition, traveling throughout the country and then to countries such as Chile, Ecuador and Cuba. In 1979 he won a festival in the city of Eten, Chiclayo; in this event the arranger was Max Ucañay, Director of [a4189377], who invited him to belong to this group. Hw would do it after 1980. As a singer of ballads in [a4189377]. After two years in [a4189377], he resigned and formed the [a4281329]; later he would integrate for a short time "Escala Musical" by Lambayeque; then he formed "La Pandilla", he ended up forming his own Orchestra with the support of his friend and fellow seminarian Juan Julio Collantes, after two years this cycle as a professional singer would conclude. |
