Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Jin-taro | pedro wittevrongel | As a son of a semi-pro belgian guitar player/songwriter/composer/singer/band member I started making tunes back in the 80s with the casio vl-1. Soon after that I purchased a Commodore 64 computer exploring the SID chip, made several tunes for demos etc. A few years later, when new-beat and acid house was born I started making acid, techno and house tracks on my Amiga 500 with my first sampler device. Made some music in my dad's home studio during a few years but kept it as a hobby. After many upgrades and making tracks for home pleasure I recently got in touch with a wellknown producer who teamed up for making a lot of new tracks. Nowadays i'm equipped with a DAW, many vst plugins, audio interface, keyboards,... |

Search | Add | 3 | Geminga | Geminga’s music flows through dreamy moods, to then shake you up with funky electronic beats. The band gets its inspiration from all over the universe. Each track tells its own musical story. Sometimes with words in English, sometimes in Dutch, sometimes in a made up language. Intense, stubborn and urgent, is what Geminga stands for. Whether it’s an ‘ordinary’ popsong or an artistic composition for a choreography like the performance This is me / as time goes by. The essence counts. With that, Geminga’s music aims straight for the heart of the listener.

Search | Add | 3 | Sabandija | Sabandija was formed in 2005 in Santiago, Chile, from the ashes of Grillos Roncos, a band between high school friends in Cajon del Maipo in 2003. Since then it has been Damien Esquerre on guitar and vocals and my best friend Max Reid on drums. They have played with different bassists but for the longest with Igor Barrenechea. Currently sound engineer Fernando Leon performs bass duties. Because members live on different continents, this project is dormant most of the time, but quite loud when they get together. Sabandija takes influences from classic hard rock, doom and sludge metal and punk. Lyrics go from reptilian themes, to the doom of mankind, always with an acid sense of humour. they have released five albums: Contaminación Acústica (2005), Venganza Batracia (2008), Anales de la Mierda (2009), Squamata (2012-2015) and Amplexo (2023).

Search | Add | 3 | Michael L Penman | Michael is a young ambitious music engineer and sound designer. He has managed to solidify his skills across a wide range of genres and platforms. This has led he to work with many prestigious artists such as Photek, Gwen Stenfani, Switch, Asian Dub Foundation and many more. Having worked for other highly talented and influential artist is it that Michael has decided to turn his hand to producing. But instead of using his contacts in the mainstream of music culture he has took a drastic right turn and delved deep into music’s vast under belly. This seen him release a number of hits on Slovakian minimal label Leporelo. With each track possessing bouncy catchy bass lines, slamming drums and a wide array of glitched out percussion and effects. These delight little morsels soon tickled the taste buds of the M_nus crew, with “Moose Man” & “Greasy Love” being played week in and week out. Ambivalent was even so kind to have charted “Greasy Love” in his October Glass Half Full Chart. Soon many an opportunity came a knocking, which lead Michael to remix Yello’s infancies hit “Oh Yeah”. Also within this time he release a heavy darkroom sample pack on Sample Magic’s Sound to Sample, which has already received great support. Within this time he was featured in both Future Music and Computer Music magazines. Both magazine gave great reviews. Michael is currently working on some sexy house projects with Blond:ish, deep driven techno with Mynude and some soul moving classical with Hazlitt. In this time Michael has also opened his doors to other producers who need a experienced mix and master to help achieve their sonic dreams. He is quite simply a short email away. So stayed tuned cause there is a lot more to come from this up and coming artist.

Search | Add | 3 | Ill-Boy Phil | Phil F. | Dj / Producer Owner of TREIBJAGD RECORDS, U6-SCHALLPLATTEN, OPERATION TIGER Ill-Boy Phil / born 1982 / munich, germany. In the early 90´s he bought his first pair of turntables and started messing around with vinyl records. Starting turntablism and beatjuggling as a HipHop-DJ. Being fascinated by the medium, he built up his own record store “Ill-Biznizz Records” in 2001. Everything went well along the time, but things were about to change. After visiting several electronic festivals, Phil fell in love with electronic dance music. He started collecting his first techno and house vinyls and began organizing underground rave parties. Today his parties, called “Treibjagd”, are still the main events in the area. Big names, as well as creative youngsters, are always exited to show up and spin the tables. After so many years Phil decided to advance to the next level and started to produce his own sounds in 2010. After releasing some tunes and remixes on different labels, he decided to built himself and other talented artists a platform: “Treibjagd Records” was born and hit the scene very successfully. Artists like Patrick Kunkel, Pele, Lützenkirchen, Joseph Disco, Dema & Paride Saraceni produce for “Treibjagd Records” and new and talented artists get a chance to become recognized on the newly founded sublabel “U6 Schallplatten”. Phil truly loves music and the art of party. He hosts a radioshow on FEVAH FM 88.3, still plays on every good party he can catch on and searches for young talents to boost their career. His records get support from big names like Sven Väth, Aka Aka, Paco Osuna, Butch, Oliver Schories, M.A.N.D.Y, Slam and many many more… |

Band 'Sphinx' released only one album in 1977, the formation of the band changed since the bassist Herdis quit the band in 1976 and drummer Yayat in 1977. The new formation were Helly (guitar), Youngki (Keyboard), Muldan (bass), and Mubarik (vocal), the album was record with the new formation plus additional player on drums Jimmie Manopo (The Rollies). Jimmie Manopo is Sphinx leader 'Muldan' best friend, Muldan himself asked Jimmie Manopo to help on Sphinx album. Search | Add | 3 | Daddy Twan | Shala S. T. Emmanuel | Little is known about Daddy Twan. His past lays somewhere in the shades of the island of St. Lucia where he is told to have been a smuggler to make a living. His kind of Reggae is cool, dark, positive, and powerful, but most of all it is charismatic and it looks into the future. When performing live, the stage lights illuminate his wooden leg prosthesis when he leans on his handcrafted wooden stick and in his dark voice teaches his critical opinions about what's going on these days to the audience. |
