Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Hôpital De La Conception | The so-called Hôpital De La Conception has seemingly arranged it all well in order to maintain an aura of mystery and ensure the untraceability of the band member(s)’ real identity; as a matter of fact, the only thing to feed our fantasies lies exclusively in the disclosure of the man-behind-the-guitar&voice’s epic moniker: Junk Nurse. What’s going on here?! The cover mentions « Hôpital De La Conception, featuring Junk Nurse in The Electric Rockin’ Chair ». Thus are we desperately conjecturing (in vain?) about the existence of a shifting collective, but which actually reveals us its very first known incarnation in soloing itself on guitar in the person of Junk Nurse..?

Search | Add | 2 | Flat 19 | Hailing from South London, Flat 19 were formed in the spring of 1980 when old pals Steve and Gordon found Barry through an ad in a music paper and Andy was a mate of Gordon’s older brother. So the band was formed with Steve Bartlett on Vocals & Guitar, Gordon Watson on Vocals & Guitar, Barry Frost on Bass and Andy Hunter on Drums. All four of them had a love of all things Beatles, Stones, Mod and the Sixties. They named themselves after an, at that point an unreleased Merton Parkas song as they were their local band and they were all fans. Their first live performance took place at a school friend’s wedding in late1980 but their first proper gig took place at The Castle pub in Tooting in Feb 1981 supporting Andy’s brother’s band “Hit and Run” who were very popular at the time playing RnB that was very similar to Nine Below Zero. They played regular gigs at The Castle in Tooting (and became their house band as Andy was now DJing there too) and Kings Head in Fulham and in no time they had built up a hard-core following of fans as they mixed their set up with some classy original tracks along with the trusty covers one of which was “Run Run Run” by the Who which they always closed their set with, accompanied with plenty of feedback along with an manic strobe lighting show! The Crowed loved this and it always went down a storm! On Saturday 30th May 1981, they ventured into ‘Wave Studios” in Twickenham to lay down these three tracks. This was actually 40 Years ago and has stayed unreleased to now!!!! During their three year existence they played a lot of gigs, sometimes up to 4 in one week. The biggest gig that the band got to play was supporting The Purple Hearts in Ilford. When Andy and Barry left for reasons no one can remember, Simon Smith of The Merton Parkas and Andy’s Brother Phil filled in until permanent replacements could be found and then a young Steve White took over the drums and Mick Martin was drafted in on Bass. This line-up did one gig supporting The Truth at the Marquee. They were offered more gigs, but decided to call it a day as it wasn’t the same in the summer of 1982.

Search | Add | 2 | 10 Bay 4 | 10 Bay 4 is a four-piece original hard rock band quickly emerging from the Chicago music scene. Led by a dynamic front man and three diverse musicians, they are turning heads throughout the Chicagoland area and hypnotizing crowds with their powerful rock melodies and explosive live performances. Recently playing at notable venues such as Cubby Bear, Double Door, Hard Rock Cafe, and House of Blues, 10 Bay 4 has experienced large audiences intensely embracing their music and joining a large army of loyal fans. The positive reaction has been remarkable, earning them airplay on 94. 7 The Zone(Local zone), and enthusiastic reviews of their music on garagebands . Fueled by John Gullakson's alluring, hard rock guitar riffs, Adam Stranc's commanding Bass, Frank Poe's enticing drumbeats, and Brian Fack's powerful, angst driven voice, the music resonates an intoxicating, punchy, radio-friendly sound. It is their plan to unleash this sound to the world and do what ever it takes to entertain audiences and become a unique, irreplaceable force in the music industry. 10 Bay 4 (formerly known as Ashley Rhodes) recorded their first three-song demo at Twin Tone Recording Studios, in Kankakee, IL. in December of 1999. With their first recording in hand, the band set off to rigorously play and promote their music throughout the Chicago land area. Within months, their hard work began to pay off, landing them the headlining slot at Lewis University's "Greek Stock". A turning point for Ashley Rhodes, it was a beginning to a strong and loyal Lewis University following. They continued on into 2001, recording yet another 3-song demo, this time at Gravity Studios, one of Chicago's premier recording facilities. A growing fan base and interests in Ashley Rhodes soon placed the band within the heart of Chicago's local music scene, gaining acceptance into such notable Chicago venues as the House of Blues and Hard Rock Cafe. Persistent efforts to strengthen musicianship lead Fack to move to Tampa, Florida in 2002. After recruiting New England native, drummer Frank Poe (NY) and bassist Adam Stranc, 10 Bay 4 stepped into MCR studios to record their first full-length album, "Letting Go." Dedicating most of their time to recording the album over the next several months, the CD was finished just in time for them to head back to Chicago in early 2003. Now, year 2004, more and more people continue to embrace the passion and feel the strength in 10 Bay 4's music. Audiences are chanting louder and louder " WE WERE FREEDOM! WE WERE FREEDOM! WE WERE FREEDOM! " from their hit song "Faced" ; a song about the lead singer's struggle to come to terms with his friend's death. With the release of "Letting Go", the band has its sights set for the stars and will do what it takes to succeed.

Search | Add | 2 | SoundShepard | SoundShepard was a funk-rock band created in Vigo, Spain in 2005. Their influences were mostly West Coast-based bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, Rage Against The Machine, etc. Their first lineup featured Cristóbal "Kwer" on guitar and twin siblings Xabier on bass and vocals and Cibrán on drums. In 2006 some changes in the band took place: Kwer is replaced by Rubén Carrera and Sergio García is incorporated on bass, releasing Xabier from playing bass and focusing only in vocal tasks. On december 2006, they recorded their first demo which would be released next year as an EP that featured an Iria Blanco Barca painting as cover. This work was critically acclaimed and as a result, they won the Best Demo Maketon Prize at the end of 2007 On May 2008 they start recording their second demo/EP which would feature a Michael Jackson's Billie Jean cover plus 4 brand new tunes. The demo is almost done but the vocal parts are never recorded. After that, the band goes through an idle period, until 2011, when they release their first LP entitled "Sin Levantar La Voz" which featured those never concluded tunes from the 2008 demo which have re-recorded plus a fistful of brand new songs. "Sin Levantar La Voz" was recorded by Óscar Fernández at Mafia Studios. They played some gigs supporting the "Sin Levantar La Voz" release and in July 2012 shot a videclip for the song "Esta Es Nuestra Lucha" which was premiered on their YouTube channel a month later. Since then the band seems to be inactive

Search | Add | 2 | Heinrich Mannfred | Composer of the Jolly Coppersmith which was a popular turn-of-the-twentieth century march that was recorded by many record labels. First published in 1886 in New York, it was credited to V. Peter (a pseudonym for Heinrich Mannfred). On later sheet music it was credited to C. Peters and on some recordings to simply "Peters" or "Peter". Its genre has been classified as "Descriptive" or a "March," and it's memorable for its clanging or striking of an anvil during the chorus, sometimes sung, sometimes not.

Search | Add | 2 | Eric Easton | Eric Easton (1927–1995) was an English record producer and the first manager of British rock group [a=The Rolling Stones]. Originally from Lancashire, he joined the music industry playing the organ in music halls and cinemas. By the 1960s he had moved into management and talent spotting, operating from an office suite in London's Regent Street. Easton met [a=Andrew Loog Oldham] in 1963; Oldham wanted to sign an unknown band, called the Rolling Stones, about whom he was enthusiastic. After a number of problems on an American tour, in 1965 Oldham decided to oust Easton from the partnership and bring in New York promotor Allen Klein. Oldham persuaded members of the group to support him and Easton was sacked. The band, with the exception of [a=Bill Wyman], acquiesced. Easton launched a number of lawsuits for breach of contract, and eventually settled out of court for a large sum. In 1980 he and his family emigrated to Naples, Florida, where he went into business; his son, Paul, also became a music manager and booking agent.
