Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 9 | Olivier Schreuder | Olivier Schreuder | Composer, performer, DJ, label CEO Olivier Schreuder composes & produces electronic and acoustic music. His work ranges from contemporary electroacoustic compositions and orchestral works to dub-infused outernational dance music. As a performer he often uses a mix of digital and analog (modular) synthesizers, turntables and Southeast Asian instruments. Furthermore he performs with bespoke electroacoustic instruments, to explore new textures and expressive possibilities. He is especially interested in how traditional cultures and new technologies meet, and often works together with musicians from these cultures to make new music together. He is most well-known as leader of Thai-Lao-Dutch group Apichat Pakwan. Under his alias Lucid Voyages he designs electroacoustic ecosystems with his modular synthesizer, centered around fieldrecordings he made in Southeast Asia. From this project his collaboration with Dutch flutist-composer Han Litz evolved. Together they record the album 'Off-Grid' in 2024. As Hiss Sound he produces outernational electronic music, of which the album 'Taraf' is the first artefact. In 2024 Hiss Sound debuts live on the Amsterdam Dance Event. Olivier Schreuder studied Musictechnology at the HKU (University of the Arts Utrecht) in the Netherlands where he graduated with a MA with honors in 2013. His graduation project was nominated for the HKU Award 2013 as most innovative and enterprising sound design project, and got selected for the Hot 100 as one of the most talented graduates of 2013 in e-culture. His compositions have been performed on the Gaudeamus Muziekweek (Utrecht, NL), ICMC, TodaysArt Festival (The Hague, NL), the Đương Đại Contemporary Music Festival (Saigon, Vietnam), Lasalle University of the Arts & School of the Arts in Singapore, the Isan Creative Festival in Khon Kaen and the Jai Thep Festival in Chiang Mai (Thailand) amongst others. The music he composed for Apichat Pakwan also made its way to exhibtions like 'Re-Connect. Art and Conflict in Brotherland' in the MdbK museum in Leipzig, 'In Nobody's Service' at Galerie Wedding in Berlin, and into Mike White's TV serie The White Lotus on HBO in 2025 (Ep.8 S3). Olivier Schreuder's musical foundation is in playing the piano, saxophone and jazz. In his teenage years he played the alto saxophone in Dutch ska-band the Tiny Tones, with whom he toured throughout the Netherlands. His interest shifted somewhat to turntablism in this time, and a collaboration with Tiny Tones saxophonist Roeland Hollander followed with the foundation of hiphop-jazz ensemble HSS, which later changed to Djazz, in 1998. As DJ Phaze he has played in many clubs and festivals in and around the Netherlands. His mixtape-series Present Revival of Futuristic Classics features local rap heroes like Osdorp Posse's Def P & Oscar X. With MC Oscar X and producer Werner Urban he releases an EP called Hollands Licht and performs live around the Netherlands with a classic DJ-MC live show. Starting out as a turntablist and organizer with roots in hiphopculture, he also organizes many events in and around the Netherlands like the legendary Hiphopcafe 4 Elementz in Amsterdam, and a tribute to John Coltrane for the Kindred Spirits recordlabel. As a composer, sound designer and performer he is part of several (live) music projects. Currently these include Thai-Dutch collective Apichat Pakwan, Hiss Sound and The Lucid Voyages. With Apichat Pakwan he regularly tours in Southeast Asia & Europe, with highlights playing shows at WOMEX in Portugal, the Amsterdam Roots Festival, Fusion Festival (Germany), World Experience Festival (Romania), Na Fir Bolg Festival (Belgium), Thailand Grand Festival in The Hague (NL), Isan Creative Festival in Khon Kaen, the Jim Thompson's Molam Bus Stage at the Jai Thep Festival in Chiang Mai (Thailand). Love for vinyl, Southeast Asian music and electronics lay the foundation for his own recordlabel Animist Records he starts in 2016. |

| Search | Add | 9 | Marisa Solinas | Marisa Anna Solinas | Italian actress and singer born in Genoa on May 30, 1941, died 13 February 2019. Known under several pretty nicknames such as “The Pocket Venus of the Italian Cinema” and the “iron chick” – born from a Tuscan mother and from a Sardinian father. Her passion for the opera and singing – that she has studied at the Carlo Felice in Genoa – together with the expressive beauty of a cover girl projected her very soon into the cinema world. Immortalized by the greatest international photographers for almost three hundred covers and an infinite number of the most important newspapers (among which, the foreign Paris Match, France-Soir, Jour de France, Daily News, Film und Frau, Primer Plano, Corriere Canadese, and the Italian Gente, Oggi, Epoca, Sorrisi e Canzoni, Il Giorno, Tempo, Il Borghese, La Domenica del Corriere, Confidenze, Playboy, etc.), her image, skillfully captured by Marquis Crispolti, has been also used for a very widespread "seal-stamp”. In 1973, Gina Lollobrigida choose her as "Italian Venus” for her photo book "Italia Mia". She has also posed for the great sculptor Francesco Messina, for a life-size bronze nude which has been exhibited in several international expositions. Cinema and theatre actress, she has played in more than 50 films for the cinema screen both in Italy and abroad, among which: "Boccaccio 70" (by Mario Monicelli; Festival Cannes '61), "La Commare Secca" (Pier Paolo Pasolini) by Bernardo Bertolucci (Festival Venice '62), "Noche De Verano" (Award of Festival Mar de la Plata '62) by Jorge Grau (with G. Maria Volonté, Francisco Rabal, Umberto Orsini), "Freddy, Tiere, Sensationen" (1965, with Freddy Quinn) by K. Vibak, "Buona Come Il Pane" (1966) by Edward Dein (director of Brando), "Padre Di Famiglia" (Festival Venice '67) by Nanni Loy (with Leslie Caron, Ugo Tognazzi and Nino Manfredi), "Riderà" (1967) by Bruno Corbucci (with Little Tony and Oreste Lionello), "Killer Adiòs" (1968) by Primo Zeglio, "Blind Man" (1971) by Ferdinando Baldi (with Ringo Starr), "L'Arbitro" (1972, with Lando Buzzanca and Joan Collins), "Ybris" (Festival Venice '83) by Gavino Ledda, "I Due Carabinieri" (1987) by and with Carlo Verdone (with Enrico Montesano), "Tutti Dentro" (1987) by and with Alberto Sordi, "L'Ombra Del Gigante" (Festival Berlin 2000) by Roberto Petrocchi, "Almost Blue" (Festival Cannes 2000) by Alex Infascelli. In '62, she was the only Italian actress selected by the great Lee Strasberg for a course of the "Actors Studio" in Italy. We remember her in the TV-films "Quo Vadis" (1987, with Karl Maria Brandauer, Frederic Forrest, Leopoldo Trieste) by Franco Rossi, "Tutti Gli Uomini Sono Uguali" (with Enzo Decaro and Maurizio Crozza) by Alessandro Capone, and the more recent "Lucia" (with Sabrina Ferilli) by Pasquale Pozzessere. Marisa Solinas is also known as professional singer, having started her career by recording for the most important record companies (EMI-Voce del Padrone, FONIT CETRA, RCA), with a repertoire ranging from the auteur Light Music to the operetta. She has singed with famous artists like Tony Renis, Adriano Celentano, Domenico Modugno, Gianni Morandi, Fausto Leali, Renato Zero, Edoardo Vianello, Pino Donaggio, Memo Remigi, Giorgio Gaber, Mal, Sacha Distel and her unforgettable bosom friend Luigi Tenco, who dedicated to her some songs, among which "Quando". In 1963 she interpreted pieces by some of the most important music authors all around the world such as Gilbert Becaud, who chose her as exclusive Italian interpreter of his two hits "Je T'Aime" and "Mon Arbre" for the EMI - Voce Del Padrone, J. Chavez ("Per Chi Sogna Annamaria"), Edoardo Vianello, Franco Califano, Nisa, Detto Mariano, Stelvio Cipriani, Giorgio Calabrese, Giacomo Dell'Orso, Giuseppe Cassia and Elvio Monti. From '66 to '72, she played in several music shows, among which, a recital with Mina in Vicenza, directed by Gianni Ferrio. During the opening of the broadcasting station "Tele Napoli", she sang Roberto Murolo’s songs together with their author. She was top of the charts with Elvio Monti’s piece "L'Estasi", sung together with Andrea Giordana. Furthermore she has performed in some of the most famous revenues all around the world, among which the ONU Palace (invited by Ruggero Orlando, who has also dedicated her a poem) in New York, the Skylon Room of the Niagara Falls in Canada, Caracas ("Renny Ottolina Show", with Sammy Davis and Djonne Warwick). In the television world she was launched (1959) as singer by Domenico Modugno. For the Rai she appeared as guest in "Alla Fiera del Mago Zurlì" (with Cino Tortorella and Johnny Dorelli), "Musicalissimo" (with Tony Dall'Ara) by and with Gino Bramieri, "Domenica In" (various editions, among which the ones by Corrado and the ones by Pippo Baudo), "Alle Nove della Sera" (show of Rai Uno by Maurizio Costanzo) together with Gianni Morandi, and "Musicrama" with Alida Valli. For Radio Uno, she has conducted for months the morning music programme "Il Topo di Discoteca", with all her songs. At the Bagaglino in Rome she was main interpreter in the show by Faele and Pingitore "Anche L'Occhio Vuole La Sua Partner", by executing a part of her own repertoire. At the Odeon in Milan she has sung within the recital "Il Dito Sulla...Mala" by Castellacci and Pingitore. She has interpreted several operettas among which "La Principessa della Czarda", "Cin-Ci-Là", "Il Paese Dei Campanelli", "Al Cavallino Bianco" and "Il Paese Del Sorriso" at the Teatro Cento in Ferrara, filmed by Rai for the television programme "Odeon" by Maurizio Costanzo. |

The ground was “VERY WELL PAVED” by my “SACRIFICES AND RESPECT IN THE STAGE OF DANCEHALL REGGAE” The Jamaican and American public, etc., “ACCEPTED THE REGGAE IN SPANISH” that evolved like any other music to REGGAETON! where the public was saying, “I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE (GRINGO / JAIME RANKS, in the 80’s), is saying, but it sounds good!” In 1991, Jaime Ranks was successful in a competition with another team called "Nuclear Atomic Hi-Power" with Shaggy (aka Mr. Boombastic) and other BabyQuake artists: Screechie Dan, James Bond, Coolie Ranx; and the late Louie Ranks who was famous from his hit, “TYPEWRITER”. (He was known to many as “OX” on American movie called “Belly”). Hip-Hop's Naz and DMX were there to witness this victory. Back then, the majority of Jaime's songs were written in English and Spanish. Jaime recorded the first songs mixed with Reggae, Hip-Hop, Calypso, Merengue, Salsa, Dancehall Reggae, and Christmas music (with: Henry Hierro, Henry Castro and Ledesma). Producers like Mr. Doo (famous for the success of Coco Tea “Rikers Island”) and Orlando Lee (who traveled from Panama, leaving his business to the World Music Distributor USA to record my production, “DONDE LO CONSEGUISTE”. This song was the inspiration for the culture of Reggaeton. My first CD was completed in Kingston, Jamaica, January 1992, signed with J & N Records (Juan And Nelson) and Sony Discos. Every time someone suggests that Reggaeton was born in Puerto Rico and/or other countries, those suggestions would fall rather quickly once Jaime explains the “Review of the ‘DNA'” of the album's two original tracks. Reggaeton was born in Brooklyn, New York--“GRAN PODER DE LA CULTURE DE PANAMA!" These two tracks are: TRAILER LLENO DE GUIALES (Gringo “The Original”) and "Vengo Caliente". "Vengo Caliente" was by Gringo The Original's artist, Tito “The Town Crier,”. Jaime co-wrote and trained the singer to rap right in the recording studio at the time of recording. "We made an enormous contribution to the music industry with a new genre," Jaime stated. In an exciting turn of events, Jaime "El Gringo Original" Davidson's prison sentence was commuted by President Donald Trump in Trump's last day at the White House. Jaime is currently working very hard on causes which he has championed while he was incarcerated and getting a crash course of how the world has changed in the last 29 years! Jaime thanks his family, friends and fans for their continued support as the #freegringomovement has begun its next phase. |

| Search | Add | 9 | Los Hermanos Alvarado | Los Hermanos Alvarado | Los Hermanos Alvarado were a trio of string Christian music, whose musical career spanned three decades. It was conformed by the brothers Román, Rosario and Juan Alvarado. In a certain sense, stringed music, with the special use of the guitar, opened the way for Latin American Pentecostals to meet their faith with their own culture. The guitar had great influence on music, which extended to the liturgy and Pentecostal theology. Family history: Pascual and Dolores Alvarado, emigrated to the United States from northern Mexico, in the first decade of the Mexican Revolution. Pascual had fought in the ranks of Pancho Villa and Venustiano Carranza. The couple had seven children, who were born in Texas, Arizona and California. The parents and grandparents of Los Hermanos Alvarado, belonged to the first generation of Pentecostal converts of the name of Jesus Christ Hispanic in Bakersfield, California (being baptized in the name of Jesus in 1916). The Alvarado children had their religious formation under this Pentecostal community. Later they would adhere to the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus, which is the oldest Spanish-speaking group of Pentecostals of the Name of Jesus Christ, and which was founded in 1925 and incorporated in California (USA) on March 15, 1930. |

| Search | Add | 9 | Willy Sabor | Andres Daniel Gonzalez Bravo | Chilean actor and singer, son of [a3312480] Willy Sabor (born Andrés Daniel González Bravo; Santiago, September 13, 1967) is a Chilean comedian, radio host, and singer. Son of music producer Carlos González, he began singing on "Seriatrux" on Avenida Colón and his first stage name was Andy Bravo. Under this pseudonym, he recorded his first album in 1992. He also performed the songs for the TVN program Hugo and the soap operas Marrón Glacé, el regreso (1996) (under the pseudonym Andy Bravo) and Playa Salvaje (1997), both on Channel 13. In the summer of 1997, on the recommendation of singer Fernando Ubiergo, he was invited by the Chilean Communications Company to audition for its new radio project, and was selected to join the broadcasting team of the nascent Radio Corazón. The name Willy Sabor itself emerged when he joined this radio station; the name was suggested by comedian Fernando Alarcón taking cues from the style he wanted to imbue radio to reach audiences. The radio station became a chart-topping hit, and his popularity soared to new heights. He released his second album, now under his new name, Willy Sabor y la Sabor Band, on the Warner Music label. This album featured songs such as "El León" and "Más Rica que Tú." He later released his third album, on the Universal Music label, featuring his hit "Pobre Pollo." He served on the jury of the Viña del Mar Festival in 2003, where he also presented his greatest hits. From 2005 to 2012, he won the Copihue de Oro for both Best Radio Host and Best Radio Program, earning 10 consecutive trophies, demonstrating his strong popularity on the radio. He hosted the programs El Sabor de la Noche (2000) and Sabor: El Show de Willy Sabor (2002) on Chilevisión and also participated in the programs Pase lo que pase (1999-2000) on TVN, Morandé con compañía (2001, 2002-2017) and Humor a la carta (2013), both on Mega, and La noche es nuestra (2018-2019) and Viva la pipol (2019) on Chilevisión. In May 2008, he released the album Lo maravilloso de Willy Sabor, a compilation of covers, including "No me sabes" (You Don't Know Me) by Ray Charles, "Juístete" (Juístete) by Edmundo "Bigote" Arrocet, "Lo maravilloso de ti" (The Wonder of You) by Elvis Presley, "En Mejillones yo tuvo un amor" (In Mejillones I Had a Love) by Gamelín Guerra, and even "Cumpleaños Feliz," among others. In 2011, he recorded his latest album, El Sabor de los 60 (The Taste of the 60s). From March 2012 to October 2020, he was a host on Radio Candela FM, owned by Mega; It is worth mentioning that he was able to use the pseudonym "Willy Sabor" because it was registered in his name after the 2011 incident. He was the only host who remained on the radio station from its first to its last day of broadcast, opening and closing the program. He is the official face of the Doña Carne Butcher Shop and has also made commercials for Disfruta Effervescent Salt, JB Products, Arcor Cookies, Bodega Uno Wine, Sprim, and Ripley. In the July 8, 2024, episode of the program Arayita TV, owned by the El Sentido del Humor Producciones holding company, he greeted and sang happy birthday to his distant relative Eduardo Bravo, whose birthday is on July 9. |

| Search | Add | 9 | Ingvar Ambjørnsen | Ingvar Ambjørnsen (1956-2025), born in 1956 in Tönsberg, Norway's most pub-rich town, grew up in the equally less exciting Larvik. He did not complete his gardener's apprenticeship and otherwise worked in various jobs in industry and psychiatry, as informal training for writers, so to speak. First book published in 1981: the untranslated documentary novel "23-salen". Lives in Hamburg since 1985. Married to [a=Gabriele Haefs]. (1956–) is considered one of the great storytellers of contemporary Norwegian literature. His books are characterised by powerful, realistic descriptions of the seamier side of life. The protagonists are often outsiders – described with sympathetic insight and warmth. Loneliness and friendship are expressed in a concise literary style. Since his literary début in 1981 Ambjørnsen has written 18 novels and three collections of short stories, as well as several books for children and youth. The author’s great breakthrough came in 1986 with the novel Hvite niggere (White Trash) – a crass exposure of the plight of that unfortunate soul seeking out an existence in sub-cultures. His most successful novels in recent years is the quartet about the odd-ball Elling; critically acclaimed and very well sold to Ambjørnsen’s wide audience. Ambjørnsen has introduced something entirely new with his books about Elling. His stories contain less external plot, but proportionately more crazy inventiveness and absurd humour. The entire Elling series has been made into three movies. The first one has been shown in many countries and was nominated to an Oscar for best foreign picture in 2001. The theatre play Elling has appeared on stage at several theatres around Europe. | |

| Search | Add | 9 | María Alejandra Matos | María Alejandra Matos | Perhaps the hottest young, female merengue artist today is Maria Alejandra, from Puerto Rico. Interested in singing from a very young age, Alejandra started studying music and voice when she was 15 years old, inspired by merengue greats Juan Luis Guerra and Olga Tañón. Within a year she was recording advertising jingles for television, and singing many different musical genres in hotels. Alejandra released her debut album, Que Lloren Las Mujeres Tontas on the Rodven label. The album received wide critical acclaim. It included hit songs such as the title track and gave great impretus to a promising career. Alejandra’s second album, Locuras brought her international recognition. Also on the Rodven label, the album helped solidify her status as up-and-coming merengue star. The album showed Alejandra’s energy as well as talent with a mixture of ballads and very danceable songs such as “Como Pez En El Agua” and “Mar De Emociones”. Produced by Tony “Tun Tun” Castro, who also worked with Elvis Crespo and Grupo Manía, Alejandra has released her third album, the self-titled Maria Alejandra and possibly her best effort to date. The recording appears on the Universal label with great songs such as “Me Equivoque” . The album also included Si Tú Te Vas, which appears on two tracks: once as a ballad, her first, and again in merengue form. Both tracks are excellent examples of Alejandra’s talent. |

| Search | Add | 9 | Atanas Kolarovski | Atanas Kolarovski (1926-2022) was born in Dračevo (near Skopje), Macedonia, of a family of expert dancers and musicians. From his early youth, Atanas had the opportunity to observe and participate in the dances of Serbians, Albanians, and Gypsies who live in the Skopje area. He performed with the amateur group, Koko Racin. After World War II, he danced for two years with the Yugoslavian Army Ensemble. With the ensemble he was able to travel all over Yugoslavia, studying and learning regional dances and dance styles of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, and the two atonomies, Banat and Kosmet, whose cultures are completely different from the other six republics. He was asked to help form Tanec, the Macedonian State Folk Ensemble, where he remained for 19 years as artistic director, choreographer, and lead solo dancer, traveling the world for 16 of those years. Atanas became a famed researcher, choreographer, consultant, and program director for many performing ensembles, such as Koko Racin, The Army Ensemble, Tanec, Ensemble Karpuc Pionerski, Blagoj Sosolcef, and Vlado Tasievski. Atanas Kolarovski Atanas Kolarovski on a button He has researched and collected dances and folk music from the different areas of southern Yugoslavia, including Macedonia, south Serbia, and Shiptar-Albania. In 1964, Atanas made his first teaching tour of the United States, Belgium, Germany, Holland, and Switzerland, awakening interest in Macedonian dance and music around the country and becoming known as "the man with the golden legs." After the second tour, he was reviewed as "the untiring teacher, researcher, chroeographer, consultant . . . a leading ambassador of Macedonia." Since then, besides having taught at all major folk dance camps throughout north America, he has also taught extensively in Europe and east Asia. A great musician, Atanas plays the accordion, the tupan, the kaval, the zurla, and drums. Since the 1970s, he, along with his wife, Ljupka (who was also a lead dancer with Tanec), and daughter has made his home in Seattle, Washington, where, for a while, he operated a successful ethnic restaurant, "Yugoslavia," featuring old-country style cuisine. He still tries to return to his home in Macedonia yearly and still organizes and conducts tours to his native country. Atanas has taught Macedonian and Serbian dances in Bangkok, Holland, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and the United States.
