Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Shadiii | Former members of South of Sahara, tshidi helen Leloka and Anneline Malebo met a former member of the all rounders, Faith Shadi Kekana and formed a new trio, shadiii. It was named after Faith but spelled with three i’s at the end to show that they were three, as in Bob Marley’s backing vocalists,I-three (rita Marley, Marcia Griffiths & Judy Mowatt). Shadiii released a maxi single, Yes I’m Gonna Give It Up, in 1985 on rpM’s right track label written by Sizwe Zako, produced by allister coakley and engineer, creg cutler. Maybe I should pay a special tribute to Faith Shadi Kekana, daughter of a preacherman who featured in many music projects before going solo. She has travelled the world backing superstars as a vocalist. Besides her session musicianship, she’s been a member of the all rounders, Shadiii as well as Varukweru whose members included Vusi Khumalo (drums), Bakithi Khumalo (bass), Zoli Bacela (guitar) and ndumiso nyovane (trumpet). Sadly, Bacela passed away in august 2006, a few days before the death of talented saxophonist, Moses Khumalo. By 2008 Faith had released her debut solo album titled Ha Re Yeng produced by condry Ziqubu. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Funclab Collective | This collaboration (or sound) brings together three of the most refined voices in the contemporary instrumental and lo-fi scene. Ayce Bio is a multi-instrumentalist and producer renowned for his organic approach to music. A staple of the Chillhop Music world, his sound is defined by warm basslines and live guitar arrangements that bridge the gap between soulful jazz and relaxing lo-fi beats. Complementing this organic warmth is Turenne, a French producer who masters the art of "dusty" Jazz-hop. Drawing deep inspiration from classic sampling techniques, Turenne layers melancholic piano melodies over crisp Boom Bap drums, creating a sophisticated, cinematic atmosphere that feels both nostalgic and fresh. Adding a layer of modern unpredictability is Borbo, an eclectic artist who pushes the boundaries of the genre. Moving between Nu-Jazz and experimental Alt-Pop, Borbo’s production introduces intricate textures and dynamic rhythms, providing a futuristic edge to the collective's sound. Together, they represent a perfect synergy: Ayce Bio’s instrumental soul, Turenne’s jazz-hop heritage, and Borbo’s experimental vision. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Babylon projekt | The Babylon Projekt is an Italian music project duo formed in Summer 2015 by two cousins, Denny Zeta and Ilaria Binatti. Denny is a great music expert and LP collector at 360 degrees since his youth. He learned how to play music by himself. He is also involved in another music project duo, the Bara Foetida, with his cousin Triplax Vermifrux, with whom created about 150 instrumental songs by using different kind of alternative instrument and devices, influenced by music genres like dark wave and psychedelic rock. By the way, the meeting with Ilaria gave him the impulse to form a new music project. Ilaria comes from a more commercial music culture. Since her childhood, she enjoyed writing poems and lyrics. She took music and piano lessons in her youth, but she got tired very soon, because she was more interested in singing rather than in playing, but she was too shy to take singing lessons. She never told anyone about her passion until the meeting with Denny. Thanks to the precious support of their friends, they unified their passion, creativity, talents and efforts, and created the Babylon Projekt. On October 20th 2015 they recorded their first two songs in studio, “Sono un DJ”, released on November 15th, and “Listen to my radio”. Their main music genre is electronic, influenced by genres like reggae, pop, dark, and many others. Their love for music has no boundaries, so they don’t want to follow only one specific genre, and the lyrics of their tracks are in several languages. They estimate the release of their debut album in Spring 2016. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Arthuur en Enno | This is the future-jazz-project of the German visual- and sound-artist ] arthuur [..] vogelwürger [ (a.k.a. Andreaz Vogel) and the Dutch guitarist Enno van den Graaf (former owner of the defunct abstract-techno label ReuschenRotzRekords). They started their musical cooperation in 2007 with a couple of live-improvisations and continued to develop a very special droning sound of guitar and electronics. The different backrounds in music (Vogel with industrial-noise and electronics and van den Graaf with guitar-improvisations and distorted techno) set the parameters for the unique wall of sound. | |

His wide musical interests include hip-hop, jazz, folk, electronic, classical and film music, which he filters through his own mind and ideas to create minimalistic, disturbing soundscapes and ambient backgrounds. Some of the recordings needed over 12 years to be published, a lot of them still await their moment. ‘Music has to mature’ he says. |
| Search | Add | 3 | Anacle | What started as a one-off jam session has ended up as a complex concept and a project. Marek Zrubák ([a=Perial]), [a=Michal Basar] and Daniel Stöger (FNX, [a=Disordered Kind]) put their own projects from the time to one side and dedicated themselves to the creation of their own universe under the name Anacle. Although operating from different countries, their long-time friendship and mental/sub-conscious connection gave the Anacle project a special identity: hybrid production, based on highly improvised performance, dark, hypnotic, mystical techno for special fanatics, weird parties or eternally dreaming home listeners. Anacle make us close our eyes and open our minds. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Mou Brasil | In the 2000s, Mou created the group “ Bahia Black ”, which stood out for its pioneering spirit in the concept of instrumental creation based on Afro-Bahian rhythms. Through compositional and experimental research based on the rhythms of candomblé, Mou was able to combine his work with an authorial value and explore its essence as an improviser. That same year, he spent four months in Hong Kong, where he played with Angelita Lee, Tady Lo and Eugene Pao . Mou started his contact with music from an early age in the environment of the BRASIL family , a traditional family of musicians from Bahia. Studied with Samuel Mota, Nicola Stilo and Hélio Delmiro at the age of 17, he already traced his professional life playing in the Jazz Carmo Quarteto group . Later he played in Cozinha Baiana and Raposa Velha , important groups of experimental instrumental music of the time. Later he participated in the still active Grupo Garagem for about five years, with which he recorded two albums and performed in Los Angeles and toured all over Brazil, with the participation of musicians such as Leo Gandelman and Heraldo do Monte . In search of a universalist sound, Mou Brasil traveled to different countries and lived in different cities. In 1990, he moved to Switzerland , where he lived for a year and played with Steve Thorton and pianist Jeff Gardner . The partnership with Jeff earned him the invitation to record his first solo album in 1992, on the French label Musidisc. Released in Paris, where the artist lived on occasion, The CD " Esperança " is essentially authorial and has the participation of musicians such as Jacques Morelenbaum, Sizão Machado, Jeff Gardner, Carlos Bala, Don Chacal, Fernando Moraes, Sizinho, Villa Lobos Quartet , Jorginho Gomes, Luiz Brasil and Marcos Lobo. The launch show took place at EuroDisney and was attended by Nelson Veras. In 1995, he moved to New York, where he lived for a year and played with Stefano Belmondo, Paulo Braga and Joannes Weiis Miller. Mou Brasil played with important names of instrumental music such as Marcio Montarroyos, Arthur Maia, Heraldo do Monte, Nivaldo Ornelas, Nelson Ayres, Steve Thorton, Jurim Moreira, Sidinho Moreira, Alain Jean Marie, Lula Nascimento and Anunciação. He accompanied important artists from the Brazilian scene. He played with Caetano Veloso on the tour of the album “ Fina Estampa ”, in a trio formed together with cellist Jacques Morelenbaum and percussionist Mingo Araújo (Spain and Italy). He accompanied Gal Costa for four years , alternating tours of the show “ Chico e Caetano ” and DVD “Acoustic” all over Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, United States, Spain, Israel, Japan and Portugal. With Virginia Rodrigues he was in Australia, Malaysia and the United States as the show “Sol Negro”. His discography includes participations withJoão Donato, Vinícius Cantuária, Gal Costa, Mauro Refosco, Arthur Maia, Jeff Gardner and Jussara Silveira, Tamanduá Group (Switzerland). Due to his long professional career, he has been invited to teach improvisation courses and workshops at Catholic Universities and Music Schools . Five years ago he created his quartet and has performed in important projects such as Segundas Musicais, Mercado Cultural and in shows alongside artists like Larry Corryel and Stanley Jordan , as well as directing works by artists from the independent scene. | |

Formed in 2003, SAOLS is a musical shape shifter whose form melds and transforms from the individual to the ensemble, from modest to ostentatious. Hunt's works blend musical mediums in a framework that is driven by an interest in the rhythmic and aesthetic precision of electronic music, the melodic composition of classical music and the pure raw energy of punk. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | ODIOSORDO | HC/Black Metal from Vicenza (Italy) ODIOSORDO came to life by an idea of Marco and Paolo (bass and drums with Demontain) during the early months of 2016. The aim since the very beginning focused on creating something extreme, able to move over what the due early band has been capable of achieving until then with its previous incarnations. The mix comes to develop in a HC/BlackMetal hybrid where Matteo offers his vocals, eviscerating personal experiences in lyrics. Music and words are here merged in a hateful and corrosive blend. | |
