Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Sevdah Takht | After a successful solo project and a Trio of his own, Bosnian Sevdah musician Damir Imamović (b. 1978, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina) makes a new turn with his new band named: Damir Imamović Sevdah Takht. “Takht” used to be a name for small, chamber groups which travelled throughout the Mediterenean and played traditional music of the region. The word “takht” is of a Persian origin and denotes a “stage”, “throne”, “plank” and similar. In Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian it was preserved idiomatically as “tahta” which denotes a “plank”, “tahtali” which means “flat” and associates a so-called “flat song/singing” – one of the most important origins of the today’s Sevdah music genre. Damir Imamović Sevdah Takht calls upon a tradition of bands that cross the borders of actual genres and learn from different traditions. After two very successful CDs with his own Damir Imamović Trio and a couple of CDs solo, with this new band Imamović steps in a direction of understanding sevdah as a genre based on a continuous learning and research. Alongside Imamović, Sevdah Takht are: Nenad Kovačić (b. 1982, Zagreb, Croatia) – A percussionist and a rhythm student with big experience of working on rhythms from the Balkans. In Zagreb he runs a school of African rhythms which he founded after studying with some of the greatest living masters of the craft from Western Africa. He writes for theatre and film and is a regular member of bands such as Afion, Antenat, Naš mali Afro Band. Ivan Mihajlović (b. 1980, Kladovo, Serbia) – One of the most interesting young bass players and authors in the music scene of Belgrade. Regularly plays in bands such as Naked, SviNaPod, Menson Benson, Plava kuća. He spent some time learning in the USA. He writes music for film and theatre.

Search | Add | 3 | Unknown Mystery 60's Group | "The songs released on the Distortions CD in 1997 were found on a reel to reel tape at an outdoor flea market in Philadelphia. Nothing was known about the group except for the song titles which were written on the tape box. In 2001 Octopus Records attempted to track down the identity of the band and eventually made contact with the band's drummer, living in Spain. A second and a third volumes (2007, on Birdhouse Records) of material were released but the band elected to remain anonymous." It seems that the "Unknown Mystery 60's Group" is in fact a clever modern artistic project from Philadelphia and made to appear to sound like it was recorded in the 60's.

While in trade school for Drafting and Construction, he "found the blues" while attending shows featuring Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Albert Collins, the Nighthawks and the Fabulous T-birds. This led him into playing bass guitar and forming the band No Money Down. While running a blues bar named The Ellton (which was later tragically destroyed), Hank helped form The Hellhounds with Don Hollowood. With the addition of Jill West, Blues Attack was born. In 1995, Hank created The 'Get Off My Case Company', which builds custom traveling cases for touring bands and sound companies. The rest is history in the making!

Gatos Del Mundo are: [a=Pavle Valerjev], [a=Krešimir Vunić] and [a=Ivan Milin]. All three have played an important role in the Croatian underground music scene. Valerjev and Vunić battled for ten years as members of the noise-rock group [a1567623], while Milin banged the drums as a member of several punk bands (Trn u oku). [a=Gatos Del Mundo] has their own approach to punk rock and their aim is to make it unexpected and exciting. Adopting the aesthetics of hardcore-punk, art-rock, psychedelia and avant-garde composition they create their own unique expression. Besides the standard drum-bass-guitar line-up of every punk trio, they do not hesitate to use electronic loops, synthesizers and vocal effects. Gatos del Mundo’s vibrant approach has already made some impact on the local scene. August 2013 saw the release of their Transmitter EP. Right now they are planning their first LP release. |

Search | Add | 3 | Frank Lini | Frank Starks | Frank Starks (born JULY,07 1982 in Fort Myers, Florida) is a southern style rap artist. He is best known as a ghetto poet who delivers his lyrics from deep with-in his soul. Frank began developing his sharp tongue and penetrating voice at the age 14 years old when he fell into rap. His first mixtape struck a cord in his local fans, which in return gave him the title “Lee County Lini” and “The City”. Frank Lini first mixtape was nominated for underground album of the year. Frank has been featured in multiple magazine publications for his musical talents such as Hood, Ozone, Voice, and 239 Hip-Hop. Frank Lini makes music that has real feel to it, that taps into the emotions of his listeners. Born Frank Starks in Ft. Myers, Fla., Frank has been fighting to survive the wretched city streets of “Lil Pakistan” for the vast majority of his life. Hustling since he was a youngster, he was constantly in and out of trouble and spent his adolescent years revolving through juvenile corrections facilities. His life began to change, however, when he began making homemade rap tapes with friend. He adopted his stage name “Lini” to pay homage to his native Lee County. “When I first started rapping, it was a way for me to channel all of my frustrations into music,” Lini remembers. “It was so easy because I just let that voice inside of me speak.” While recording his debut album I’m All In in the summer of 2006, he was arrested and began a three-year legal battle which resulted in jail time and probation. Although that run-in with the law was a major setback, which killed the conversations between him a Major record labels. it also provided him with an opportunity to reach even deeper into the streets and even further solidify a strong fan base in Florida. The "ALL IN" album was released in December 2007 on independent label Tohilh Music Group and quickly became the streets’ Bible. Frank’s gritty delivery and pain-filled lyrics on runaway singles “I Ain’t Friendly” and “I’m All In” prompted the streets to rally around him as unofficial mayor of Ft. Myers. By the time of the follow-up album Green Light dropped, Frank gained the attention of industry heavyweights like Rick Ross, Mayback Music Group and Akon, Konvict Music. He had been nominated by Hood magazine as the 2007 Underground Album of the Year and secured a feature appearance on Triple Cs 2009 album Custom Cars & Cycles on single “Throw Em In the Sky,” which was also featured on AllHipHop.com. He was also selected to be featured in Ozone magazine’s Patiently Waiting section and received a Duval Diamond Award for his relentless grind. Now, Frank Lini is back like he never left. He has been steadily gaining new fans and keeping the streets duly satisfied with his latest single “Pressure”. “My ultimate goal is to take over this rap game,” says Lini. “I won’t follow the beaten path. I’m a trailblazer so instead of following anybody, I choose to hold out and wait for the world to catch up to what I’m doing down here in Florida. Better opportunities are on the horizon.” |

Search | Add | 3 | Blaque Jaque Shallaque | Started as Skin Deep around 1971/72. Skin Deep eventually morphed into Bill The Murderer around 1977. The line-up: Steve Aldridge (guitar), Pete Downes (guitar), Dave Tattum (vocals), Dave Pendrey (drums), Ian Cramer (bass) and Patrick Cramer (keyboards). In 1978, Bill The Murderer recorded a 7” single pairing the songs “I’d Find You” and “Spring Rain”. The single was self-financed by the band. Next came Blaque Jaque Shallaque, the name stems from a cartoon character who was a French Canadian lumberjack. Formed around 1981/82, the band included Dave Hogg on drums plus Rob Downing on guitar (both were also affiliated with Angel Witch). “Blaque Jaque Shallaque recorded demos at Bronze Studios and also there was some live stuff and rehearsals recorded,” remembers Dave Tattum. “We used their studio to record stuff with engineer and producer Mark Dearnley, who was a friend of Dave Hogg’s from his involvement in the first Angel Witch album.”

Search | Add | 3 | Anacle | What started as a one-off jam session has ended up as a complex concept and a project. Marek Zrubák ([a=Perial]), [a=Michal Basar] and Daniel Stöger (FNX, [a=Disordered Kind]) put their own projects from the time to one side and dedicated themselves to the creation of their own universe under the name Anacle. Although operating from different countries, their long-time friendship and mental/sub-conscious connection gave the Anacle project a special identity: hybrid production, based on highly improvised performance, dark, hypnotic, mystical techno for special fanatics, weird parties or eternally dreaming home listeners. Anacle make us close our eyes and open our minds.

Born Borgercompagnie (Veendam) September 26, 1879 – died Amersfoort February 27, 1972). He also used the alias: Jean Duverre. Van der Glas was educated in military music at the 1e Regiment Infanterie of Assen, by that time conducted by bandmaster Friedrich H.E. Bicknese. From 1905 to 1911 he was the conductor at Heerenveens Muziekcorps. In 1911 Van der Glas was appointed bandmaster at 3e Regiment Infanterie of Bergen op Zoom. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Muziekvereniging NEO Rucphen he wrote one of his most famous compositions, "De Feestmars", which has been published on gramophone records several times.
