Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026

Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Echoes Fade "We are Echoes Fade, a four-piece metalcore project made up of an All-Star lineup of local New England talent! The band began with life-long friends Chance “Hammah” Hudson (Voluntary Victim) who takes Vocal/Frontman duties and Alex Brady “Brady” on the Drums/Vocals. In 2021 we took it up a notch recruiting our brothers Chantz Mello (The Last King) & Frank Carolan (Voluntary Victim) to take on the Lead/Rhythm guitar duties. Brady and Chance grew up together in Lynn, Massachusetts and have been playing in bands together since they were 12 years old. After a few years of struggling to find members who were the right fit, we decided to form our current band Echoes Fade on our own. Choosing this path gave us opportunities to work close with the all the best and most talented local/internet musicians while we were in search for our permanent members. But in our current era we have become the strongest we have ever been. Finally having a solid group of songwriters has been a game changer!" (Echoes Fade, 2024).

Crawford and the "Steel Guitars of Europe", which was composed of Koos Biel (Holland), Andre Sommers (Holland), Niles Tuxen (West Germany/Denmark), and Gerry Hogan (England). He recorded some of his own compositions while in New England and has continued to write and record his original songs on 45's, albums, and cassettes. In addition to his own selections he recorded other original songs while in Nashville. A single, "Somebody's Rockin' Gibraltar" was charted on the National Charts Top 100 and Cashbox Country Single Chart. "Walking Through My Dreams" also made the top 100 chart and was the 1 Pick Hits for three weeks and moved to #1 for two weeks on a Portsmouth, Ohio radio station WPAY. The Dreams of Love album, released in 1988, includes both of the above singles and standards by Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Nat King Cole and others. Due to Dann's striking likeness of Roy Orbison in both looks and voice, he has recorded a new album soon to be released titled "Dan Garner Sings Roy Orbison" for the US and European Distribution. He has recently been featured on the cover of Britain's top-selling Country Music Newspaper, "International Country Music News", published in Derby, England, and is being featured on forthcoming tours in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe. He recently completed a 30-day contract in Copenhagen, Denmark, singing "A Tribute to Roy Orbison". His recent song "Rainy Night in Copenhagen" was inspired while performing in Denmark.

Search Add 2 The Cadillac Band The Cadillac band has been playing together for many years. The name came in as late as 2004 and the one who came up with the name was Elvis Presley's drummer DJ Fontana. DJ Fontana thought The Cadillac band was fitting in many ways. Both his own and Elvis's great interest in Cadillac cars and because the band often plays the song Cadillac. DJ Fontana liked the song and recorded it himself in Nashville, and the letter combination became TCB, and everyone knows what it means to love Elvis Presley. Initially, the band consisted of Ulf Nilsson, Börje Hallberg, Mats Olsson, Erik Widman, Ronny Hall. During the time we also have on the guitar Mats MP Persson from Gyllene Tider, Johnny Z, Jimmy Svensson, Bo Eriksson, Lasse Hanzén, Anders Ehrenstråle and other musicians. Tommy Blom was the band's front figure for many years, and stage champion. Throughout the years we have had a number of guest artists as well as the band's own musicians.

Search Add 2 Solar Architect Solar Architect biography: from- http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=5483 SOLAR ARCHITECT is a young progressive rock band from Ottawa, Canada, formed in January 2004. From the beginning the band was a trio, like masters Rush from where they take some of their influences (among others as YES or LED ZEPPELIN). Members include Rob NIMAN on bass; Frank MADORE on Drums; and Don FOURNIER's guitar, with special guest on keyboards and CD art, Kelly DODD. Their first release 'Ocean Depths' was in 2006, and was followed by the stunning 'Wrath of Nature'. From slower-paced moments to more up tempo passages, SOLAR ARCHITECT is definitely a winner in this genre, the production and arrangements first rate and the cover art for 'Wrath of Nature' is superb and complex thanks to Kelly DODD's skills. The spirit of modern progressive music - taking an already established musical idea and creating something that is unique - is precisely what Solar Architect have done.
