Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Hell Is Harmony | Hell is Harmony came to life in 2008. After writing enough material the band started gigging around Scotland (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Perth), always receiving good reviews and gaining a group of faithful followers. In the same year the band recorded a demo called “EAT YOUR VICTIMS” which consisted of four songs (Train, Psycho, Eat your victims, Mechanical puzzle box). The following year the next demo was recorded. It was entitled “I HAVE FIRE IN ME” and another four songs were featured (Hell is harmony, Fairytale, Better than Better, and Toxic kiss). Year 2010 started pretty well – Hell is Harmony supported Lower than Atlantis, after which gig the guys from LTA said that HiH was the best supporting band they had during that tour. 2011 With the new line-up and new energy, the band quickly gained momentum and started gigging, managing to gather quite a crowd at their shows. 2011 was also the year which saw a full album recorded. The album was entitled “Opium” A promo video was recorded for the title song as well and can be watched online. In 2012 the band had a chance to tour Scotland with a legend of Polish dark-goth-rock scene – Closterkeller. A few months later the band went to Poland and played a set at a festival supporting, among others, Decapitated. In October the band was awarded the title of ‘Tattoo Jam 2012 Band of the Year’ by winning Battle of The Bands at Tattoo Jam 2012 in Doncaster.

Search | Add | 2 | Alpha K | Aris kourkouvelas a.k.a Alpha K is a local Dj / Producer in the city of Volos,Greece and his mixing style is Deep House, Afro House,Tech,Progressive house and of course Chill out Elements..... From a very young age various types of music sounded to his ears. His parents from an early age listened to music every day and from then he started to understand and started listening to his personal choices of music, from rock, jazz, reggae , salsa, Latin, pop nearly all except opera! Turning 15 and with the appearance of electronic music which became a passion made him start to deal with djing and without wasting any time he spent a large sum of money to make his own studio to practice as a dj. He has played in many cafés, clubs and beach bars of the city and always wanted to bring other people on the trip of music because he has always thought that music is full emotions and has its own language. He both loves music and wants others to feel the absolute happiness he feels as well. His philosophy in music is to gradually excite his audience with appealing tunes in order to make them reach their peak with a lot of dancing and feelings which touch love and the beautiful musical journeys. His style is addaptable according to the venue and the audience,he plays for.His intentions are to see his audience enjoy in every way the musical journey which they have started... Later in life his friendships urged him to get involved in production which was actually a dream of his to be able to demonstrate creativeness through his love for electronic music, then began his own journey in production with the help of a producer friend. In 2016 he made his first production, «my dream" which was released by Retrolounge Records. It even had the honor in its debut to be remixed by a Greek Producer Christos Fourkis who at the end of the year «my dream" was honored in the best way by Traxsource # 14 globally in Afro house music. He still has a lot to give because his love for music is enormous.... The journey has just begun...

Search | Add | 2 | Miss Lalithangi, Madras | Madras Lalithangi | Born in 1910, Madras Lalithangi was adopted by Perumalkoil Narayanamma, a devadasi who resided in the Chengam Bazar area in George Town, Madras. As was customary in a family dedicated to the arts, the child was given music lessons from a variety of gurus such as Coimbatore Thayi, Padam Pattabhiramayya, Fiddle Subba Rao and the redoubtable Veena Dhanammal. By the time she was in her teens she had become a vocalist of repute. In the early twenties many women singers lived in the George Town area and one of them was Tiruvarur Rajayi. Kootanur Ayyaswami Iyer, a man who was known for his large repertoire of the works of Tyagaraja, but who could not make a mark as a vocalist came to teach Rajayi. Ayyar and Lalithangi met in the house of Rajayi. He began teaching Lalithangi too and soon they were drawn to each other and tied the knot in the mid-1920s. Vasanthakumari was born in 1928 to this couple. There was an impromptu music performance by the great vocalist Maharajapuram Viswanatha Iyer during the cradle ceremony of the child. Young Vasanthi was taught music at home, even as she was sent to the Good Shepherd's Convent for formal education. This was short-lived. Lalithangi's frequent asthmatic attacks curtailed her concert opportunities and consequently her income. Her husband took to giving music lessons to children of affluent families. |

Search | Add | 2 | Jim Hoiles | Jim Hoiles (deceased) was born January 6th. 1911. and except for short trips to the western states and Alaska and a four year stint in the Army during World War ll. he lived in the area of Greenville, lllinois. all his life. As a boy of eight he took a few lessons on the violin and was about to give it up when he heard an old blind fiddler named Dan Allen play. It was then he decided to really give ol' time fiddling a try. Jim learned most of the old tunes and played for a few square dances before going into service in 1941. Jim did not play after the War until the early 1960's when he bought an old Jacob Stainer violin. ln 1965 he was buying fiddle records to learn new tunes and in I970 began collecting records from Ireland. and England. to learn Irish, Scottish and English fiddle tunes. Jim played and recorded with Dave and Melody Johnson (now living near Nashville, TN) and with Bruce "Swamp" Weiss when they were all living in Bond County. Jim recorded in a small Gospel music studio in Central Illinois called Crusade Enterprises. Several records also featured John Barnhart (deceased). JIm's albums are special for preserving fundamental, American Rural versions of Celtic and Anglo Traditional Music. JIm performed regionally in Illinois at barn dances, picnics and other events. The WWII veterans and their families still had an interest in "country" music as it had evolved in the 1930's before the War and Jim provided the soundtrack for those dancers and listeners. His growing friendship with Swamp Weiss led eventually to Jim co-producing an album with Swamp Weiss and Alison Krauss's family called "Different Strokes" which is now a collector's item. The LP contrasted JIm's ol' Time style with young Alison's progressive hot fiddle. Jim finished out his days living at the caretaker's cabin for the local rod and gun club ( an excellent place by the pond to have the occasional visitor enjoy a few tunes ).

Search | Add | 2 | Burn Inside | Based in the west coast of Tuscany BURN INSIDE is active since 2005 with the first lineup already formed by Tommi (bass), Federico (drums) and Roberto (guitar). After the release of two Ep between 2008 and 2009 the band recruited Marco on second guitar and Gigi Lopre on vocals, to replace the departure of Ale. Burn Inside began work on the new songs that are recorded in the third Ep “Primordial State” in the summer of 2010. The true musical identity came out and sound became more mature, aggressive and louder than past, strongly inspired by many of the American metal band of the last 20 years. What comes out is a no-frills, powerful, restless, furious metal, able to involve the audience in live sets full of rage and passion. Right now the band is working on new songs for the first studio album planned for summer 2012.
