Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Rear Gunners | The Rear Gunners was a pseudonym used by the relatively obscure Brighton music hall punk fusion band [a=the Fish Brothers] when they were in Germany starring in an obscure film called Doppelpack and playing with [a=Attila the Stockbroker]. Given the credited stage names like "Todger McSmash" and the totally over the top hooligan lyrics of the b-side, there's an element of humour to this release but it still lives up to Oi!'s intended spirit of having a laugh and having a say. In little over four minutes these guys certainly speak their minds succinctly, and the fast paced musical backing is memorable. A rather forgotten gem. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Dr. Peter von Zahn | Peter von Zahn (Jan 29., 1913 Chemnitz - Juli 29., 2001 Hamburg, Germany) started his career as a journalist at Radio Hamburg on July 15, 1945. Educated, eloquent and with a distinctive style of speaking, Zahn soon became a fixture at the station of the Allied military government, which continued to exist from September 30, 1945 as NWDR (Nordwestdeutscher Rundfunk) and was converted into an independent broadcaster from January 1, 1948. When the NWDR was split into NDR and WDR in 1956, from then on, Zahn stood for continuity and quality at the northern German broadcaster. In 1951 he took the plunge across the pond and became a pioneer in foreign reporting in the United States. His 15-minute radio show "From the New World" explains the German society and politics of the occupying power. From 1955 onwards, the same format led to success on television. Von Zahn left NDR in 1961 and founded his own production company, Windrose Film- und Fernsehproduktions-GmbH. His reports were shown in WDR, among others, which developed the "Weltspiegel" („mirror of the world“) series from the format. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | "Big" Ron O'Brien | Richard Walls | "Big" Ron O'Brien (real name: Richard Walls; October 24, 1951 – April 27, 2008) was a disc jockey who worked at many top radio stations during his lifetime. O'Brien grew up in Des Moines, IA, and worked at KBAB in Indianola. He started in 1969 at KUDL (now KMBZ-FM) in Kansas City. During the ensuing years, he worked for many stations, including KTLK in Denver, WCAR in Detroit, WQXI in Atlanta, WCFL (now WMVP) in Chicago, WOKY in Milwaukee, WFIL in Philadelphia, KFI and KIIS in Los Angeles, KWK (now WARH) in St. Louis (where he stayed for nine years), KZDG in Denver, WYXR (which became WLCE during his tenure and is now WRFF) in Philadelphia, WNBC (now WFAN) and WXLO (now WEPN-FM) in New York, WPGC in Washington, D.C., and WRKO in Boston. WOGL, also in Philadelphia, was his employer for the final six years of his life, and he had recently signed a two-year contract extension. Big Ron had been the host of the syndicated Westwood One radio program "On the Radio" from 1985 until 1992. O'Brien also enjoyed singing. He recorded cover versions of "Everybody Knows Matilda" (D. Baxter) and "Take Some Time Out" (T. Kemp and R. Gordy), both of which were released on 45. In addition to music and radio, Big Ron loved trolley cars and baseball. O'Brien died of complications from pneumonia after a two-month illness.[2] |

| Search | Add | 3 | Alexis Mazzoleni | Hello Rockin’ Friends When Thierry Los, the producer of this record, asked me to write these liner notes, I accepted because it was an honor for me to have taken part in this adventure with my musician friends Philippe Almosnino, Fabrice Lombardo and Alain Chenneviere. This record contains covers of songs by Elvis Presley as well as Country guitar works reminiscent of Chet Atkins, everything recorded by Thierry Los on analog gear at Studio Le Val in Paris western suburbs on May 9th and 10th 2000. Just another rock guitar record ? Perhaps, but here’s the deal : this record has a story. It was a project devised by an illustrious client who shook up the history of popular music : Mr Scotty Moore ! Believe or not, the “King” Elvis Presley’s lead guitar player asked French musicians to record this demo tape with a solo album in mind. Even though this album was never released, at least we take pride in the fact that we were selected to see it though by “the guitar that changed the world” himself. While listening to these sessions, I am reminded of the mood that took over us then, both overwhelmed by the weight of the project and the fun we had doing it, as we were well aware we were doing some really special work and about to make a record with Scotty Moore, Elvis’s guitar player ! The Scotty Moore Project linked Elvis, Country guitar works and Jazz through covers of songs played in an American 1950’s state of mind and sound. “I’ll never stand in your way” harkens to the Sun Studio sound, innovated by Scotty Moore and Bill Black, coming through both my playing and Fabrice’s double bass. Our version of “Young and Beautiful” is highlighted by our Jazz approach. “City By Night” and “Wonderful World”, both titles from 1960’s Elvis films soundtracks, border on Easy Listening. Also included are covers of “Memphis Blues” and “ One Man Boogie”, both songs recorded initially by Chet Atkins and that I had originally performed live with my band the night I met DJ Fontana and Scotty Moore. Furthermore, three original songs that I wrote are featured, recorded in those lovely days of May as well. Now it is time for you to discover this colorful set list. By releasing these sessions, we would like to pay tribute to the genius of Scotty Moore, as well as to Elvis Presley and Chet Atkins. I would also thank Elvis My Happiness and Jean-Marie Pouzenc. Have fun listening to this. Sincerely Yours, Alex Mazzoleni Paris, on the May 9th 2017 | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Humareda | Humareda was born in the summer of 2005 when Roger and Jordi, two old friends of the highschool, meet again to share some of the songs they have been composing during a period of reflection. Wanting to do something interesting with them, comes the idea of recruiting people who are willing to take this project forward. The first to join is Albert, who starts playing the flamenco cajón and some more percussion. The three alternate the trials between Ruché's house, in the neighborhood of La Sagrera, and Valldonzella 12, an old squatted farm where numerous social activities are organized. Soon after Tomy, playing the electric bass, and Gerard, playing the cajón. In this way they transfer the tests in Villa Elvira, a little house located in La Floresta, where Albert and Tommy share the roof. With this formation, on April 16, 2006 they perform their first concert, precisely in Valldonzella 12, when the eviction and subsequent demolition of the farm is announced. From now on they begin to go through the stages of some inhospitable places and some greater neighborhood festivity. When Albert decides to devote more to the drums and leave the cajón in second place, La Floresta is left to rehearse regularly in the bucs of the Garcilaso Center in La Sagrera. In addition, Jordi Bigay, a friend of the group that records all the concerts, joins until December 1, 2007, opens in Sant Andreu as a smoke more. With it you get a cooler and lively live, since it has full mobility on the stage and puts all the nose and salt shaker necessary. In November 2008, an initiative of Jaume Capella, a great friend of Humareda who acts as a manager of the group, becomes a reality: the contribution to the Festival of the Sant Andreu de Palomar neighborhood, composing a song that becomes the hymn of this party. Tots Al Carrer! It sounds in all the acts and parades of the neighborhood. Finally, people have the possibility to listen to it and sing it live at the concert given by Humareda in the big tent of Can Fabra on December 7, 2008. Due to the good acceptance that the song has, the band decides to make promotional CDs that , apart from Tots Al Carrer !, includes Solterín Solterón, and gives them to a large part of the people who will see them, thus becoming the first model of the group. In addition, it is in this concert that also premieres screenings made by Antyproductions (www.antyproductions.org), a small production company that collaborates to enrich the live performance of the group. After several concerts, the summer of 2009 is closed in studio to record Maketeando, the second model, which includes 6 songs recorded in La Universal, plus a song recorded in Café Con Leche Records. Finally, Maketeando comes out in January 2010 and is presented in concert on the 15th of the same month at the Garcilaso Center in La Sagrera. After many concerts in Barcelona and nearby, the summer of 2011, Ger decides to leave the group and Alejandro enters instead. That translates into an opportunity to experience a new sound. With him, during the last months of 2011, they have begun to register the third model of the group. New congas sound, guitars with effects, new rhythms and melodies, more percussion and new bass lines. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Lost European | Lost European, one of the few of bands in the entire world who have been personally invited by the People's Republic of China to tour their nation. Their style of music is "art rock"...alternative, progressive, intricate and orchestrated with precision crafted songs that are catchy and meaningful. Created by the rocket scientists who designed the Stealth Bomber, the F-18 Hornet and the Apache Helicopter, this apocolyptic CD is dark and moody, yet highly polished alternative rock filled with catchy melodies and powerful music. Lost European is a sophisticated band with a Euro-British sound. The songwriting is all original. The founding band members are degreed aerospace engineers from Britain and the U.S. Not only have they designed some of the most extraordinary high tech fighters and spacecraft of the world, they have also formed a high tech band of skilled musicians, composers, and computer programmers. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | 8fulstrike | 8fulstrike was born in 2008 in Padua from 7 musicians coming from different bands and backgrounds, but with the same aim: to create a new project, a new band to mix all their different influences and their will to shock the audience from every point of view. Their idea of a metal band is a synergy of intents, music, inspiration and visual impact. In November 2010 the band released “Leave Yourself Behind”, under Jetglow Recordings. The album is the result of more than two years of hard work and sacrifices and from the very first moment it shares with you the 8fulstrike essence. In June 2013 8fulstrike released an EP called "Environmental Breakdown". By now the band is working on the second full-length album. | |
