Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Dark Skies Have Fallen | Dark Skies Have Fallen is a five-piece metalcore band from Naples, Florida, formed in the winter of 2003. A unique combination of metal and hardcore, influenced by black metal, death metal, and hardcore. Chock-full of dark riffing, melodic harmonies, pounding drums, and sickening vocals. Formed originally as Lafe Flynn, Adam Whited, and Brodie Wheeler. Starting practice with just two guitars and vocals, they began to write music. Later, Nick (Evil Existence) joined as a temporary drummer along with Joe (Evil Existence) on bass. They helped play the first show. Drums were eventually replaced by Adam’s brother, Chris. Without bass for awhile, Pedro (ex-With Vengeance) took the position. He played for a few months but didn’t work out. Adam switched to bass (although still writing some guitar parts). Having then acquired another guitar player, Wayne Lai, this new lineup works well. Playing a number of shows in Naples, Ft. Myers, and Miami, Dark Skies is looking forward to expanding horizons, meeting new bands and new people. In October 2004, the band changed its name to [a8102470].

Search | Add | 2 | Karl-Josef Kutsch | Karl-Josef Kutsch, also known as K. J. Kutsch, is co-author with Leo Riemens of the Großes Sängerlexikon, a standard reference for opera singers. Born 11 May 1924 in Gangelt (Germany), Kutsch studied medicine, was drafted and participated as a soldier in the Russia campaign of the Second World War. He then completed his studies at the Goethe University Frankfurt in 1948. He practised as a physician from 1952 to 1989 in his hometown, together with his wife. From the 1950s, Kutsch built a collection of records and singers' biographies. Together with the Dutch musicologist Leo Riemens, he published a small biographical dictionary of singers in 1962 under the title Unvergängliche Stimmen (Immortal Voices). In 1975 the work was revised as Unvergängliche Stimmen / Sängerlexikon, which was again revised in 1985 with his and Riemens' cooperation and became the standard work. Under the title Großes Sängerlexikon (Great Singers' Lexicon), it was substantially expanded with the collaboration of Hansjörg Rost and in the current edition comprises seven volumes with detailed biographies of 18,760 singers from the Renaissance to the present day. The biographies mention the subject's name, a possible stage name, the dates and place of birth and death as well as the voice category and give an overview of the career – according to places of activity and works that were sung and played. In addition, the biographies contain brief mentions of important milestones, a description of the voice, as well as bibliographical references and major recordings made if any. The fourth edition of the Biographical Dictionary of Singers, in seven volumes, was reissued in 2012 as an anniversary edition (Jubiläumsausgabe), with now 18,760 entries. It is regarded as the standard reference in the field. The information is regarded as valubale not only for opera but also for general historic and sociological studies.

Search | Add | 2 | Luddgang | Luddgang are an 8 person collective from Sheffield, England. 5 of those 8 people play drums, another handles the sound bytes & samples, another the slideshows (for live performances), and the last doing the merchandise/literature table. There's no guitar, no bass, and no vocals. Imagine, if you will, intense tribal drumming similiar to that of later-day Neurosis. Overtop of this you have samples instead of guitars. Sound bytes instead of vocals. Now, if you can imagine this, you might have just somewhat of a clue as to what Luddgang sounds like.

Nearly 60 years later, he has self-released High Power! Snow Power! To The Stars! Protect the Earth!, a collection of songs about snowboarding, fantasy and space travel. He is best known for his calls on The Best Show with Tom Scharpling.

Search | Add | 2 | Carroneros | Carroñeros | CARROÑEROS is a band created (in this reality) in September 2006 in the northeastern area of Mexico City (Neza-Aragón), but put together for years by sinister minds in the 90s of the last century. CARROÑEROS came from the nothing. They never had a friend or a relative in the music industry, neither a millionaire relative, politic, or a sister or girlfriend that ever could strike in the playmate business. These guys came from the nothing. One day in September of 2006 appeared a drum kit in the room of Jesse J. Coyote, a bass in the toilet of Augustoock Vicios, the hand of Conde Giovanni Contar was suddenly hypnotized, Rod Monstruo and Paloma Stricnina felt sick and just they could speak screaming, and, finally, Emilio Revolver found and old organ in his garden when he pretended to buried his dog. Ok, they thought, we have an organ, we could make it as a church..s band. CARROÑEROS originally began playing at weddings, baptisms, and child..s birthdays. But they failed. Each party they played worst and worst. The people began to shout and bangs his heads and dance like if they were schizoids. Suddenly, to this baptisms, weddings, etc., began to arrive young delinquents, with sun glasses, big black boots and wild haircuts; CARROÑEROS played for avoid a disaster. But soon they began to love this type of “catholic partys” too. Actually, the worst of the worst people in Mexico City reunite themselves to dance like maniacs with the terrible sound of CARROÑEROS. And I heard that sometimes they invoke Satan. |

Search | Add | 2 | GNEVER | Laura Hatting | Artist from Vienna, Austria GNEVER Is the Solo project of Laura Hating aka Mariähymen die Ekelhafte.
