Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Harry D. Cup | Michael Christian | [a=Harry D. Cup] (Michael Christian) grew up in Elyria, Ohio, a small town outside Cleveland, and began acquiring radio experience while still in high school. Through the years, he worked his way up as a talk show host at numerous stations across the country. In 1979, while working in Cleveland, his life was threatened because of his conservative views and, as a result, he moved to Florida and took the evening shift on Orlando’s WDBO. Over the years, he occasionally stepped beyond his radio microphone, like the country song “Green Grows the Valley” he recorded in 1968 under the name Mike Adams. In 1980 he wrote and recorded “Sick Americans” b/w ”Love Letter” for Silver Pelican Records. The A-side was a spoken word “condemnation of America’s ills” protest recording of sorts, a contrast from Byron McGregor’s hyper-patriotic 1974 hit “Americans.” |

| Search | Add | 2 | fütwerk. | Irrespective of their place on the running order, Tom Szabo & Brayden Warburton of Melbourne based duo fütwerk continue to demonstrate a remarkable ability to impress. Known for impeccable track selection and an uncanny ability to connect to a crowd the duo have earned the attention and respect of the electronic music community, solidifying themselves as a pioneering force in Melbourne’s deep techno movement. The last three years has seen some noteworthy career highlights. These include support sets for musical inspirations Deepbass, Matrixmann and Etapp Kyle, whilst also performing at Burning Seed, Rainbow Serpent and Wildwood. Long-term lovers of electronic music, their voyage into production has drawn heavy sonic influence from their natural surroundings, as well as those more reminiscent of the cosmos and all its wonders. “fütwerk look into the crowd and see an opportunity for communication on a deeper, spiritual level.” | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Holly Would... | The dynamic fusion of Newport News, VA based-rock band, Holly Would... have a sound hitting everything from rock to hip hop - hardcore to pop. Often noted for their infectious tunes which blur modern day pop/rock with early 2000’s Panic at The Disco craze! In their latest release If Word Got Out their debut album, Holly Would... perfectly mixed pop melodies with danceable beats and dark guitar tones, scandalous themes, and hints of Hip Hop laced throughout. Firestage Magazine claimed: “The album has a mix of sexual themes, pop melodies and tracks that get you moving....it's not surprising that this band has gained such a loyal fan base. It's hard to skip through the tracks.” Consisting of David Elliot (Lead Vocal/ Guitar), Logan Shermeyer (Lead Guitar), Kevin Criner (Bass), and Cory Ward (Drums), Holly Would... is currently signed to One Day Savour Records and continue to amaze and entertain fans with each performance. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Hut-Four | The Hut-Four are the Barbershop Harmony Society’s 1958 Land O’ Lakes District Champions. First organized in early 1953 with Herb Fane on tenor, Bob Dykstra on lead, Bob Moksnes on baritone, and John Hansen on bass. They were all in the US Army at the time and the name “Hut-Four” came from the Army. During their two years in the army, they would sing around base at Fort Riley and around Kansas. They performed on the Ed Sullivan Show, the Arthur Godfrey Talent Scout, and an Army talent show hosted by Arlene Francis. After the guys got out of the Army in late 1954, the quartet temporarily broke up. In early 1955, the quartet got back together with Johnny Wheeler on tenor and Don Sundt on baritone. Johnny left the quartet after a very short time singing with them to pursue a career in acting and was replaced by Bob Spong as tenor. They started competing and won the Land O’ Lakes District Championship in 1958. They placed as high as 11th in the SPEBSQSA International Quartet Contest. In 1962, Dan Howard replaced Don Sundt as baritone. They sang on a few USO tours between 1968 and 1970 entertaining hospitalized soldiers in Japan, Okinawa, and the Philippines who were injured in Vietnam. The Hut-Four retired in 1972 after nearly 20 years of singing together. They sang over 1,400 performances, traveled nearly 400,00 miles, sang all throughout the United States, Canada, Japan, Okinawa, and the Philippines, and sang as semi-finalists in the SPEBSQSA International contest seven times. Bob Spong went on to win the 1975 SPEBSQSA International Championship as the baritone of the Happiness Emporium. Bob Dykstra and John Hansen went on to sing together again for another 17 years in the “Salty Dogs” quartet. Today only Bob Dykstra and Dan Howard survive. Don Sundt died in 1999, John Hansen in 2019, and both Bob Spong and Herb Fane in 2021. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Head-Cage | Head-Cage is - Mark McKernan - Vocals, Gary Aghabekian – Guitars, Walter Rojas – Bass Guitar, and Michael Higgins on Drums. The Beginning.... Forming in Jan 2002, Head-Cage are a band who came together with one main purpose in mind – To blow people away with their sonic soup of melody and power – and that is exactly what they did. Performing their first show in late 2002, Head-Cage were asked to headline one of the opening shows at Parramatta’s Gravity Extreme Nightclub, the venue designed to promote and expose heavy acts in Sydney. The venue came alive as Head-Cage performed with “more energy and emotion then any band here to date”. They were asked to return and play again, twice more; and they did, each time showing how an emerging band can top even the most seasoned musicians. The Style.... Head-Cage are a heavy rock band driven by thunderous guitars, ultra tight rhythms and soaring melodies. Their influences range from 80’s rock, to alternative, to world and the more recent nu-metal acts but they by no means comply to the limits set by these genres. Their fierce yet organic sound stems from the fusion of all these styles, and with Head-Cage’ members having around 30 combined years of writing and performing experience, it shows why their sound has appealed to a wider range of audiences. The Progress.... The band’s first release was recorded literally overnight and was a 2 track promotional CD designed purely to book shows. This led to the first string of shows for Head-Cage with dozens of venues booking the band at first listen. By April 2003, Head-Cage had performed an average of a show-a-week and sometimes played up to 3 times per week at venues across the city. They have performed at venues such as The Gaelic Club, Bar Broadway, The Metro, The Kelts Bar, and many more with bands such as Full Scale, MM9, Japunga, Tourettes, Three Point Tilt, Melodyssey and Unsaid. Their growing fanbase ranges right around NSW from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the city, Greater west right into country NSW. But this is only the beginning.... These guys are entertainers. They perform as if every show is their biggest and won’t hold back. Dynamic and emotionally charged songs, with well crafted tapestries of rhythm and melody; the musicianship and discipline of Head-Cage is evidence that this young and driven brotherhood is committed to succeed. So what now? In addition to constant rehearsals, writing and performing, Head-Cage are currently adding the finishing touches to their next single - Refuse Me. Working closely with producer Sean Boucher (Cog, Dreamshifter, Three Point Tilt) this release is HIGHLY anticipated throughout the sydney hard rock scene and is due to hit the stores in late April. Over the next 12 months, Head-Cage is aiming to get bigger shows and to travel interstate to spread their music to other cities and towns. The next target will be to select and rehearse material for a debut EP and to even see their material head overseas. These goals are realistic and as a unit, the band believes they are very achievable. The commitment already shown by Head-Cage is testament that with each small step, they are reaching their goals. "The right amount of energy and passion..." "A real pleasure to listen to..." | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Nikolov-Ivanović Undectet | The Nikolov–Ivanovic Undectet is an 11 piece band lead by arranger, pianist and guitarist Vladimir Nikolov and drummer Srdjan Ivanovic. Friends from their music conservatory days, the duo had worked together in the past in bands and on film music and finally in 2017, came up with the idea of a band they could lead together that would be big enough for the arranger to be able to express many different colours and small enough to allow for the interplay of a small band. From that the Undectet was born, a band consisting of an atypical instrumentation: French horn, trumpet, tuba, trombone brass section, an alto, tenor, baritone saxophone section, a piano, bass, drums rhythm section and the accordion, in between those. The colours are even more versatile when the saxophone section changes to a woodwind one (flute, clarinet, bass clarinet). | |
