Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026

Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

In the night before new year someone found headphones near audio equipment and plug headphones speakers in the mic-in entry on the mix table. Than they started to imitate the rave music with his voices and the DJ almost killed them, because they re-recorded his favourite dance compilation with their sounds.

Search Add 2 What Two Left What Two Left WhatTwoLeft is a dark post-punk duo hailing from upstate New York. The influences of Lebanon Hanover, early Cure and Joy Division can be heard throughout their songs. Brandon writes and records the tunes while Tara puts pen to paper in her deeply personal lyrics. Although they have been both creating throughout their lives, WhatTwoLeft did not start as a project until late 2015. Their first self-titled demo was followed up by a digital single (Reveries Sustenance) and subsequent album, Hiraeth. They then put the vinyl compilation LP, Shared Psychosis, before completing their latest album, Children Of The Sun Shall Burn. The title of this album is a reference to the pathetic, insecure fascists who still roam this planet. Humanity cannot move forward until we look beyond borders and to the stars. WhatTwoLeft is an existential purge of the lunacy of living, songs borne of pain. The duo of Tara and Brandon Kane exorcise their demons by naming them in song. Both the E.P. and “Children Of The Sun Shall Wither” were recorded in 2016 in Ithaca, NY. Fuck all extremism. Dogma is the source of our suffering.

Search Add 2 Frank Dailey Big band and swing violinist and bandleader and owner of Meadowlark swing dance club in New Jersey. Born 1901 in Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA. Died on February 27, 1956 in Montclair, New Jersey, USA (55 years old). Dailey made his first broadcast over station WJZ, then located in Newark. In 1926, he was playing at the Knickerbocker Grill in New York. In April 1931, he and three of the original members of his orchestra bought the old Pavilion Royal in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, and made it a home spot for the band, rechristening it "The Meadowbrook." His orchestra was then dubbed "Frank Dailey and his Meadowbrook Orchestra" and broadcast three to four times weekly over CBS networks. Dailey was the figurehead of the Meadowlark. It became more famous than Dailey's orchestra as it became one of the hot spots in the country to play at and be at. It was one of the most important venues for dance bands throughout the 1930s and 1940s. Many big-name acts played there including Tommy Dorsey's Orchestra, Mal Hallett, Glen Gray's Casa Loma Orchestra, Red Norvo, Isham Jones, Little Jack Little, and others. Many recorded at the Meadowbrook, and it was often attached to the title or releases such as "Jack Teagarden And His Orchestra Live at Frank Dailey's Meadowbrook". In 1937, Frank and his orchestra made front-page headlines all over the country by changing their style: although his orchestra was then rated one of America's top swing groups, he switched to a "sweet" style which he christened 'Stop 'n' Go." Swing was at the height of its popularity, but Dailey believed he had created a new style in dance rhythms. Within six months, they were as popular for their new style as their old.

Bel disco davvero." Vinile

Search Add 2 Asklepeion Asklepeion is a Melodic Black Metal with a 90’s but also a modern vibe from Tilburg (The Netherlands). The band was formed in 2021 by Thijs (Welmoed, Misanthropia) and Robster (ex-Southern Werewolf Farm). William (FAAL, Spina Bifida, 666 Shades of Shit, ex-Foretold, ex-Domestic Violence) joined them on the project. The Asklepeion project was born in the beginning of 2021 when Thijs and Robster had the idea to start a musical project to keep themselves busy during the pandemic. They write some songs, record them at home and release an EP. Both fans of 90’s (melodic) Black Metal, the songwriting quickly went that way and the decision was made to stick with it and make an album full of Melodic Black Metal with a 90’s but also a modern vibe.
