Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Shawn Mathews | Shawn Mathews | Best described as a multi-talented, genre-blurring artist, Shawn Mathews' music spills across the POP/R&B genres with Hip-Hop elements in them. Using popular synth melodies, Shawn adds a smooth vocal/lyrical performance to his songs which resemble the R&B styling of his influences Bazzi, Khalid, Dominic Fike, and Drake. Tackling topics such as heartbreak, mental health, and self-worth in his music, the Pennsylvania based artist has an extremely relevant feel to his songs and makes music that listeners can identify with. Shawn was signed to VALE in 2020 and released his EP Blue with them. His unique voice and style set him apart from others, along with his versatility and ability to tune in to current trends in music. His catchy rhythms are based on current hip hop music but are bouncy and vibrant. His debut EP Blue features six singles ‘Down Bad’, ‘Don’t Say Hi To Me’, ‘Erase It’, ‘Higher’, ‘Saved Me’, and ‘Hold Me Down’. Being a dancer and actor, Shawn fuses his love for dance and American Pop music to create his own unique brand of music. His love for performing and music equates to his electric stage presence when performing live. When he is not making music, Shawn is acting in regional musical theater productions or teaching his students hip-hop moves to the latest hits. Shawn also loves rapping to the tracks from Lin-Manuel's Miranda's superhit musical "Hamilton". Check out his performances on his YouTube Channel @ |

Search | Add | 2 | Tzmp | TZMP (The Zuckakis Mondeyano Project) is a long standing art project from Iceland-born Árni Kristjánsson and alien Steinn Linnet. Born from homework for an English course at Reykjavik’s MH college in 2000, they quickly gained notoriety by winning Óðríkur Algaula song competition and subsequent performances around Reykjavik. Burdened by their sudden popularity, the duo quickly got to work on new material and recorded their first album “The Album” in Honiton in the southwest of England. After their debut's release in 2004, the duo's performances at music festival Iceland Airwaves with singer Jenny Kamikaze (nee Berglind Prunner) gained them a small but loyal following. Their second album, “Anthology: Simply The Best” was released in 2016, followed by release parties in Iceland and Japan (where they performed with chiptune legends YMCK).

Search | Add | 2 | Kapiko | Kapiko was founded in early 2012 by the Turkish Kaval player Batuhan Aydın, the Austrian composer/pianist Nikolaus Grill and the Turkish composer/bass player Neyzen Özsarı. Aydın, Grill and Özsarı first met working on a project for Istanbul Technical University's Turkish Music State Conservatory. In the sequel, the trio decided to continue to work together. After just a short period of time, the mixture of sounds resulting from this collaboration, a smooth combination of sounds from Anatolia and the Balkans and central European and African sounds with influences form jazz and even baroque music, had proven itself to be addictive! Kapiko's line-up was complete when electric guitarist Ozan Erkan and drummer Riccardo Marenghi and percussionist Alikaan Uysal joined the band just after 2016. "Kapiko has managed to make itself heard in the abundance and diversity of the Istanbul music scene in just a short period of time. The band likes to play with fortified musical concepts, and attracts the attention of those who listen to it with a creative and extraordinary approach to music. It would be wrong to affiliate Kapiko with the whole bunch of east-west synthesis projects springing up like mushrooms these days. Kapiko is an eclectic mix bearing influences of musical styles form all over the world. To make things short: Listening to the music of Kapiko means to question one's established musical understanding." -Sandra Sinsch-

He was appointed professor of theory and music history at New England Conservatory in 1922 and continued to teach there until 1964. He was faculty emeritus there from 1965 until his death in 1971. He introduced a “Syllabus of the Lectures in Musical History” for use at NEC and published A Handbook of Musical Form (1964). Smith, commonly known as W.S.S., was the assistant music critic for the Boston Evening Transcript from 1919-1924 and music editor of the Boston Post from 1924-1953. As a composer, Smith wrote for orchestra a Romance (performed by the Boston Pops in 1916) and Andante Cantabile (1920); songs: “To Helen” (1914), “The Gift of Pan”, “Faith”, “I Know a Trail” (all from 1915); “Ring out Wild Bells” from Poe; “Last Invocation” from Whitman; “A Caravan From China Comes” (1916; also with orchestra); as well as numerous instructive pieces for piano. The pride of his final years was an honorary seat to the concerts of the BSO, given to Smith in recognition of his service to music. Warren Storey Smith died on October 15, 1971, at the age of 86.

Search | Add | 2 | The Jetbeats | The JetBeats are a vintage Rock & Roll combo from Grand Rapids. The members were brought together over a common obsession with the savage early 60’s Rock&Roll sound, incubated in the British beat sound of the early 60’s and into the British Invasion. The group features Guitarist/Vocalist Morgan May Moallemian (The Deans), Bassist/Vocalist Ben Erhart (The Official Theives, Glen Danles), Guitarist/Vocalist AJ Dunning (The Verve Pipe, The Cones), and Drummer DJ McCoy (Delilah DeWylde & The Lost Boys). The group's mission is to reintroduce the world to the raw excitement of early 60’s style.
