Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026

Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 7 Буря «BURYA», storm in Ukrainian, came into existence, around 1970 as a four piece band. Until 1979 it has expanded to 7 members, all from the Toronto area. The highly skilled musical talent of BURYA has provided entertainment to audiences of all manner of functions — weddings, dances, bar mitzvahs and festivals. The band is unique in its versatility and arrangements. It is equally at home with waltzes and polkas,as it is with rock, disco, latin and swing. Its music is enjoyed by both young and old. The band likes to play requests and is noted for providing its audiences with an exciting evening of entertainment. Perhaps you may detect a Prairie flavour in the music. Ron Cahute, the leader and accordionist started his musical career at an early age as a drummer in the band of his late father, Maurice Cahute. It was from this experience that Ron acquired a love and appreciation of Ukrainian music of the Prairie Provinces of Canada. This music in the early years of Ukrainian western settlement of Canada was left to develope on its own, almost completely severed from ties with Ukraine and provides an interesting annal in musical history. It is both Ukrainian and Canadian. Although this record has a Prairie flavour, it is not exclusively so. The music it contains includes the variety and talent that is BURYA. 1979 line-up: Ron Cahute – Leader, accordion, bass, organ, synthesizer, vocals Jaroslaw Hryhorsky – violin, viola Len Steciuk – guitar, violin, vocals David Monis – percussion Ron Lutz – saxophone Mike Romanick – clarinet, saxophone Tom Romanick – saxophone

He started entertaining folks at the age of 15. Around that time also, he wrote his first song called “The Yodeling Symphony”. By 19, in the late 1930s, Rudy and his wife to be who also grew up in an orphanage hitchhiked to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, where he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force until the end of World War II. Being an excellent artist he opened and ran a sign shop for 47 year. He continued to write songs and entertain. In those days he was know as “Rudy the Yodeling Kid”. I was born in 1944 and was there only child Rudy Jr. Rudy provided Acoff & Rose 12 songs to publish. Some of those compositions were recorded by Wilf Carter and Ernest Ashworth. The song "Pushed in A Corner" was recorded by Ernie Ashworth and reached #11 on the Billboard charts in 1964. Rudy himself recorded for Rodeo Records. But Rudy was not impressed with leaving my home and his wife, Monica, to go on the road to promote his records and career, it was just not his style. He probably passed up a great opportunity. A 1965 article indicates he recorded at least two sides for Rodeo Records and one for Sparton Records in 1964. His notes he had written more than 490 songs over a span of 69 years; most are all love songs.

Although musical creation has indeed accompanied her for many years, it was not until 2016 when she first presents her work to a live audience, focusing on sounds and styles such as ambient, drone and industrial. In 2017, the music label Eclectic Reactions from Bilbao in Spain released her first work, “Irauten”. Since then she has taken part in festivals such as the ODD (Barcelona), Nokodek, Dantz, DobleCheck (Donostia-San Sebastián), Kubeats (Urretxu), Inmersiones (Vitoria-Gasteiz), The Alhóndiga Experimental Music Programme, Mem (Bilbao), and furthermore in projects and collectives like Le Larraskito Kluba, Gertrude Noise Meeting, Dena Nahi Dugu (Atari), Música Dispersa or Mise-En-Scène Productions. Despite her work methodology of constant change, her favourite areas of experimentation are field recordings, synthesis (especially granular) and digital processes in real time. An imagery where there are no words. Compression/containment and expansion, chaos and order, calm and violence. Everything is in question, everything is the way it is in a cosmic, introspective and oneiric journey where identity and duality lose all their meaning. Sound alchemy, a thunderous coven, digital paganism and a necromantic spirit. «Revolutionary is the idea that creativity will save the world»

This gave him the decision of becoming a dj and play this kind of music to the under side of the scene in Santiago ( Chile ) and using the dj nick " Daft Groove ". Through more homemade parties Gabriel starts to show the house genre with good results, but after contacting people in the Santiago's scene it gives him the oportunity to play at a real club with a good crowd as it was the " Bar Forestal " club. That's how his disc jokey work starts and where it comes more different oportunities to play in knowable clubs as "Cresta Negra" ( Rancagua ), " Punta De Lobos " ( Pichilemu ), " Pagano " ( Valparaiso ) y tambien tocar en eventos masivos como "Urban Rave " ( 2003 - 2004 - 2005 ), "Musica Desde El Oriente " ( 2008 ), Gay Parade Chile ( 2008 - 2009 - 2010 - 2011 ). Though his music creation didn't started until 2006 and it follows as a long process until 2010 where his sound production starting to really get well done and with mayor influences like Daft Punk, High Caliber, DJ Sneak and others. With a lot of work and much promotion, Richard Groove gave his first single called " Banged " and with this he signed more than one contract inside and outside of Chile, labels like Sugar Shock Digital ( USA ) and Agua y Sed ( Chile ). Gabriel continues to produce music as he still gives his mark as a dj in the chilean club's dancefloors.

Search Add 7 Spiraloff Stéphane P. Péricat Started in 2002 in France as a solo project, Spiraloff released a first self-produced ep on CD-R at the end of 2002 entitled "Nokindovlivin'" containing 4 tracks, which was followed in 2003 by the self-titled first album "Spiraloff". Spiraloff then went on different paths, exploring different horizons with projects such as [anal]Og.sys, The Fauxhemians or Acridspleen. After a long hiatus (almost a decade), Spiraloff was reborn as an Amsterdam-based, two-men band at the end of 2012 and dropped a surprise new track for Xmas day '13 called 'As Long As It takes' for free on their Bandcamp. A new EP called "Born To Write Sad Songs" was released a few months later in February 2013 on NIDALI Records, and later that year the follow-up EP in the "Amsterdam EP's" trilogy "Lonely Ride 7'". The trilogy was completed early 2015 with the release of "Weathered In My Heart". This 4-track EP took almost 7 months to record and produce, and elaborates extensively on the topic on lost relationships. For Record Store Day '15, Spiraloff dropped a surprise new single called "Miles Apart", an experimental, 2-part piece of music opening new sonic horizons for the 2-headed band

Search Add 7 P3DR0K$ Pedro Kisil P3DR0K$, or his real name Pedro Kisil, is a producer and composer of experimental electronic/trap music, beatmaker, and noisemaker, known for his constant variation in the use of samples. In his productions, he intensely explores distortions and noises in his mixes, challenging traditional music conventions. It is frustrating to realize that experimental music, despite its creative richness, is not widely recognized, especially in a music industry that often prioritizes commercial aspects over the genuine expression of artists. This landscape, often centered around products and commodities, contrasts with the essence of experimental music, which aims to break these barriers and highlight the idea that everything is possible in the sonic realm, including the exploration of noise and disruptions. P3DR0K$ is committed to continually evolving his repertoire and putting as much feeling as possible into his productions. He emphasizes that his music does not follow established norms but rather embraces an improvisational approach where the sounds speak for themselves.

Search Add 7 Fart Gang Fart Gang is an indie/electronic instrumental band from Atlanta, Ga. What started as a small project/inside joke between two friends has evolved into a four man noise making machine today. Fart Gang was started by Oafi Khan and Jack Alston in 2018. By the end of that year Fart Gang had four members, as Daniel Hord and Gray Sims joined in. In 2019 they recorded their first song, A Lifetime. In early 2020 Gray Sims left the group and the group briefly became a trio. A couple months later Kenny Butler (better known by his online alias Fancy Tongue), who had been friends with Daniel, soon befriended Oafi and Jack and joined in September of 2020, making the roster the band has to this day.
