Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 7 | P3DR0K$ | Pedro Kisil | P3DR0K$, or his real name Pedro Kisil, is a producer and composer of experimental electronic/trap music, beatmaker, and noisemaker, known for his constant variation in the use of samples. In his productions, he intensely explores distortions and noises in his mixes, challenging traditional music conventions. It is frustrating to realize that experimental music, despite its creative richness, is not widely recognized, especially in a music industry that often prioritizes commercial aspects over the genuine expression of artists. This landscape, often centered around products and commodities, contrasts with the essence of experimental music, which aims to break these barriers and highlight the idea that everything is possible in the sonic realm, including the exploration of noise and disruptions. P3DR0K$ is committed to continually evolving his repertoire and putting as much feeling as possible into his productions. He emphasizes that his music does not follow established norms but rather embraces an improvisational approach where the sounds speak for themselves. |

| Search | Add | 7 | Rudy Rivers | Rudy LaRiviere | Rudy Rivers (his real name was Rudy LaRiviere) was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He spent his early years in an orphanage. He started entertaining folks at the age of 15. Around that time also, he wrote his first song called “The Yodeling Symphony”. By 19, in the late 1930s, Rudy and his wife to be who also grew up in an orphanage hitchhiked to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, where he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force until the end of World War II. Being an excellent artist he opened and ran a sign shop for 47 year. He continued to write songs and entertain. In those days he was know as “Rudy the Yodeling Kid”. I was born in 1944 and was there only child Rudy Jr. Rudy provided Acoff & Rose 12 songs to publish. Some of those compositions were recorded by Wilf Carter and Ernest Ashworth. The song "Pushed in A Corner" was recorded by Ernie Ashworth and reached #11 on the Billboard charts in 1964. Rudy himself recorded for Rodeo Records. But Rudy was not impressed with leaving my home and his wife, Monica, to go on the road to promote his records and career, it was just not his style. He probably passed up a great opportunity. A 1965 article indicates he recorded at least two sides for Rodeo Records and one for Sparton Records in 1964. His notes he had written more than 490 songs over a span of 69 years; most are all love songs. |

| Search | Add | 7 | Gegenschein | Gegenschein was a Dutch post-rock band that existed from 2013-2022. The members of Gegenschein were Henk Bril (a.k.a. "the Genius"), Rob Hotje (a.k.a. "the Voice") and William MacVaine (a.k.a. "the Wizzard"). Gegenschein was based in Sittard, The Netherlands. HQ was the 'ARSIS Studios' (ARSIS: A Roof Somewhere in Sittard), owned by William MacVaine. The musical style is a post-rock melting pot with influences of Pink Floyd, Brian Eno, Rammstein, Alan Parsons, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Electric Light Orchestra, Philip Glass, Steve Reich, Anne Pigalle, Manuel Gottsching, Laurie Anderson and Kraftwerk. Although the name sounds German, most songs are in English. The first album 'Dark Moon Over Paradise' was released in December 2015; the second album 'Struggle For Passion' was released in November 2019. In January 2022 a compilation double lp was released with highlights from the two CD's and two previously unreleased numbers. Work had begon on their third album 'Magnificient Desolation', but COVID-19 restrictions from 2020 through 2022 delayed the work on the album significantly. The unexpected split up of the band (July 2022) unfortunately makes it uncertain that it will be finalized. However it is the intention of the former band members that it will be finished and released on lp or cd. Gegenschein (German pronunciation: [ˈɡeːɡənʃaɪn] German for "countershine") is a faint brightening of the night sky in the region of the antisolar point. [Source: Wikipedia.] | |

In 1974, she got a deal with 20th Century. | Search | Add | 7 | Upsetting Keys | Reade Truth & Jake Reif | Emerging from deep within the depths of the Brooklyn underground, Upsetting Keys seeks to inform, to educate and inundate. This time they are armed with emotional, unknown electronic structures that originated back in the late 90s. The audio sculptures presented on this release specifically pass somewhere in a shape between total art form and other, much more subliminal and subdued opaque constructs. Upsetting Keys, a name whispered privately by elite DJ's around the world, is a timeless example of the electronic underground. The project, initially trapped in an era where dull throw-away concepts dominated techno culture, can now freely present their unusual techniques; which involved impossible sampling, maniacal rhythms and infectious melodic content, all of which lay waste to those past aesthetics. |

| Search | Add | 7 | Tongångarne | Swedish student orchestra from Gothenburg, formed in 1962. Their first two decades were marked by an eclectic mix of classical music, jazz and marches, performed with great technical skill and in odd arrangements. In the late 1970's the band's lineup changed into a big band, and the musical style changed accordingly to be more focused on big band jazz with a large helping of pop, soul and disco. The late records are mostly original tunes, while the earlier ones are mostly elaborate arrangements of classical "hits". Since the nineties the band have billed themselves as a "show band". Tongångarne is a member orchestra in the federation of Swedish student orchestras, Riks-SMASK. | |

Junior was born in the Maxfield Ave area of Kingston 13 and then moved to the country side of jamaica with his Grandma Leslie at age 7. He attended the Maud Mack School in Westmoreland then moved back to Kingston at age 13, where he went to the Tarrant Secondary. Junior started to sing at age 15 but not on a professional level. His main inspiration was his Father and then Dennis Brown. It was the year 1988 at the time he went to Spanish Town to live with his mom.Shortly after he was then introduced to DJ Hammer MouthChronicle and Gary Minott who had the inexperienced artist sing on dubplates and sound systems such as, City Rock, Strike Force, Turbo Crown, Impression Disco, and the big champion sound, Killaman Jaro. Junior Holt’s name start to ring an alarm in St.Catherine Jamaica. The young Holt started to gain more confidence in the music so it was time to hit the road to Kingston. He was introduced by his Mom to producer Ski High from Tuff Gong, who recorded three singles with the young singer. They were released in 1988 and did well in Europe. He was working at the Epiphany night club in New Kingston every Thursday night, under the supervision of Bobsie Grange. He was doing opening acts for Tony Rebel, Mighty Diamonds and Jack Radics. In the year 1993, he ran into Youth Promotion Producer Lincoln (Sugar) Minott, who recorded 2 singles from the artist and released them in Europe. In that same year Junior came across DJ Skullman, who also recorded 2 singles with the young singer. Those 2 tunes did well on the local scene and earned the singer the privilege to perform on Border Clash 93, which was the singer's first major show. In 1994, Junior Holt was introduced to Bob Marley's daughter, Cedella from Tuff Gong Records, by singer Anthony Mattai. The singer was soon signed and started to work on tracks with musical wiz, Handel Tucker. Soon after he was introduced to Singing Canary Sanchez and gained more popularity singing on the champion sound Sexilus which is also owned by Sanchez, which played every Wednesday night at StandPipe Kingston Jamaica. That was a place where you would find most artist hanging out. In 1995 Junior migrated to the United States, where he was introduced to Sir Coxone Dodd by Ansel Meditations. He recorded 5 singles for the Studio One label and by February 1996, "Still In Love with You", was released in NYC and getting regular rotation on the airwaves. In 1996 Junior moved to Connecticut and met Richie Calbut Mcpherson, and recorded a few singles that were getting regular rotation on the local radio stations. In the year 2000 Junior Holt teamed with Richie Calbut and put a 5 piece band together which was called the Calbut Band. The band lead singer which was Junior Holt all did well with shows all over Connecticut and some boroughs in New York city. In 1997 Junior Holt and ace DJ Mellow under the guidance of Valri Dotty Allen, entered the Apollo Theatre in Harlem NYC with the hit song, "Sipping Champagne." They both came out a winner and the song was released in Hartford, CT. Junior Holt then met up with King BenjI, owner of Tronic One Records. They immediately went into production on his new album called 'Good Vibes". Everyone who hears the album says it is going to be a # 1 seller. Junior Holt is now currently recording with Wattage Label under the leadership of Courtney Johnson who is also Ceo for the company. Recording Artist Don Fyah Wyah Hines also plays a great role in the Artiste Career as his road manager by earning the singer a few reputable shows down in the western side of USA. Junior Holt plans for the future is to continue his father’s works by singing good music and still set the trend his father did. You will be hearing from Junior Holt. |
