Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025

Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Lil G Tha Goon Jamar Mayfield Lil G.Tha Goon, Born Jamar D. Mayfield December 19th 1986 to Ruth Mayfield & John Peters, from the South side of Chicago . Before music he was homeless living in the streets or in and out of shelters or even sleeping on the city train some nights.Since pursuing music ; it has been good but stressful for Lil G Tha Goon , Yet he's still in the studio making hit after hit. His music comes from my anger built inside and all he's been through. Things have been great for Lil G ; here as with this music, networkin with other artist, producers, and other musical talented people. His 2 brothers from another mother Big.Hus & J.Leonidaz has been there having his back helpin me stay focused on what the goal is. They also inspired me to really do music and understand the concept of writing my own songs. The style of his music & his label " Angryman Music Group " comes from anger built within. Originally Lil G Tha Goon linked up with Devin D. Streeter a.k.a Skeet Da Yung Poet for assistance with management & more direction for his music career , But Both were hit with Life & unusual circumstances ; Still they stayed in contact . Exactly a year later Lil G hit up Skeet for some advice with his music and round that same time Skeet was putting things back in motion for the Label & management division of his company " S.D.Y.P The Movement LLC . A few days later Lil G Tha Goon signed a Record Label , Management , Distribution , and Music Publishing deal with S.D.Y.P . He released two singles F**k Out My Face on 03.31.16 & All Nite on 07.25.16 and currently he's working on a mixtape and his first album .

Search Add 2 SPK/PF(H) The foundation and development of the SPK (Socialist Patients' Collective) was started in 1968 by Dr. Huber at the Policlinic of the Psychiatric University Clinic, Heidelberg, Germany. After two troubled years including police raids, several arrests and confinements the SPK was strategically dissolved in 1971 in an attempt to prevent further harm to Huber and the patients. In 1972 Dr. Huber and his wife were sentenced to 4.5 years in prison. In 1973 while in solitary confinement in the Stammheim prison Huber proclaimed the Patientenfront (Patients' Front) as a continuation and back-to-the-roots of the SPK, from then on mostly referred to as SPK/PF(H). Walker and Buck (on bass) came into the picture on the subsequent tour in support of it, as did Helmet guitarist Chris Traynor, whom Buck later married. Search Add 2 Endorfiends The Endorfiends were formed by guitarist Steve Firestone + vocalist Damian 'Spider' Cullen when the pair met one night while out drinking down at the infamous St Moritz club in London’s Soho. They immediately forged a strong song writing partnership which is reflected in the debut album O I YEAH! ex Lords of the New Church bassist Dave Tregunna + Dave “can’t behave” Broderick on drums completing the line-up, the band took to the streets treading the boards at some of London's premiere rock haunts. The at first skeptical audiences’s were soon gob smacked by the band’s endless energy, mesmerizing stage presence and memorable tunes. After recording some demos the band soon received some airplay on regional and national radio. Next they got attention from a visiting management company from Los Angeles who immediately signed them up. A string of gigs in the U.S. soon followed culminating in L.A. where the gigs were attended by major record labels and celebrities sniffing around. However, after talking with a few major record companies and with time dragging on and on, together with management problems and the band running out of money, it became clear that no one was willing to put their money where their mouth is without the band having to stay for a prolonged period of time - right or wrong they returned home. On return to the U.K. gigging resumed and the band finished recording tracks for their debut album on their own.The band folded soon after their return to the UK. Members; Damian 'Spider' Cullen; Lead Vocals. Steve Von Saint (alias Firestone); Lead Guitar Dave Tregunna: Bass Dave Broderick; Drums Damian Cullen would later found the bands SubZeros and Damian Cullen Band
